That isn’t Lucifer..
Comic inspired by the amazing @morningstarwrites’s ao3 novel, “Of Saints and Sinners”, Chapter 21! Im thrilled to say I succeeded in my goal to share this before then next chapter is released (Friday, if I’m not mistaken!)! As for myself, I still am truly in love with the story, and am excited for the next update! Anyhow, this will probably not be the last time I will be making art from this story, and if anyone has ideas, feel free to request one! I’d love to hear!
But for now,
Stay tuned~
P.S.- This will be my last full project on Adobe Fresco! I will use it occasionally of course , but will be focusing on using Clip Studio Paint. So now, I won’t to have to draw my own speech bubbles and format by hand!

Man who is secretly an alien but also the worst liar on earth
COMMISSIONS OPEN
The 40’s superman radio show honestly has so many jokes that still hold up, this is more or less an exact interaction from one of the episodes
I may or may not have couple mini comics sketched up for this show 👀👀
Text ID under cut;
4 Panel digital art mini comic of 1940’s radio show Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen
Panel 1 - Clark Kent is a blur on the left side as he uses his superspeed to arrive. In front of him on the right is Jimmy Olsen he's taking a photo.
Panel 2 - Clark is now fully in focus and looks very uncomfortable. Jimmy looks up at Clark and says "Hey Mister Kent, I didn't see you come. Say, how'd you get here so quickly, anyways"
Panel 3 - Clark holds up his left hand swatting off the question, he looks uncomfortably off to the side with an obviously strained smile and replies "ha ha ha... Never mind that." In front Jimmy looks at him questioningly.
Panel 4 - Clark points to the right with conviction as he shouts "what's that over there!", His glasses shine blocks out his eyes. Jimmy follows Clark's finger.

As I am once again consumed with thoughts about AmeRus and their relationship during the Cold War, I am reminded of an idea I had, a moment between the two of them.
They fought a lot, bickering constantly during the War, and of course, physical fights were not uncommon. But near the end of the War, perhaps at its most rockiest, it was then that Ivan said something during an argument that no doubt still lingers in the back of Alfred's mind to this day.
"You are Icarus, young and free, but far too careless and wild; a curse which shall inevitably be your doom. You fly too close to the sun, and one day...it shall be your downfall."

So about Husk n Alastor. Who do you think approached who first, if you've given it any thought? I feel like I can understand either side approaching the other first.
(Hazbin hotel episode 4 spoilers)
Ok, for starters I’m in love with you, you seem very cool <3
Anygays, I can see why Husk would approach Alastor first. Whiskers is down on his luck, he’s losing game after game, losing soul after soul. He’s losing his status, his relevance, his power and he goes to a seemingly powerful demon that he thought would be easy to beat.
HOWEVER, Alastor approaching Husk first just makes more sense to me and here’s why-
“Decades ago, Alastor manifested in Hell, seemingly overnight.”
It’s unclear whether Husk knew of Alastors power before hand when they met each other , but let’s assume he didn’t Because even the most incompetent overlord would know when their status quo is at risk and wouldn’t have put their soul on the line playing against the radio demon. So Im assuming they met just before Alastors upcoming and coincidentally Husks downfall.
(moments before disaster)
he took note of Husks weak points, let him get his guard down and attacked
Because what’s the perfect and fastest way to gain power and status? Take control of a dominant overlord, especially one that has a gambling addiction and a recent losing streak. Simple and easy.
I mean have we forgotten the Alastor we’re talking about? Powerful, sadistic, vengeful, a masterful manipulator.
”He began to topple overlords who had been dominant for centuries.”
and unfortunately…
husk was one of them.

My emotional regulation is like that thing in animation where there's an angel and a devil on their shoulders, but instead it's Bo Burnham singing a depressing ballad and MatPat psycho analysing my symptoms.
