i think the reason why i love the world building of the hunger games and why i want more is because suzanne collins world building. like everything is explained, but not by much. capitol culture is frivolous and loud but that’s about as much as we know. besides from katniss’ beauty team, we don’t know the rest of effie’s friend group or family history. we don’t know much about haymitch after his games, how the districts recovered after the revolution, what happened to capitol sympathizers, what happened to the other tributes after the 75th hunger games. we have very little info on how these things played out.

what i’m most interested in is the loneliness after the war for katniss and peeta. like they stay in district 12 and as far as we know there are only a handful of people still there. that has to be super isolating. if i remember correctly, in the book, katniss really only has haymitch and peeta as they live in the same neighborhood, and after a while their children. i wonder if gale ever came back? if Annie or Katniss mom visits often? did the people of district 12 come back? did other people from other districts move?

“you kissed me.” you breathe out once you’re actually able to catch your breath. “i kissed you.”

“yeah, and?” katsuki looked down at you, his shoulders heaving as he himself tried in vain to catch his breath. “got a problem with it?”

“no…” you shake your head slightly, wondering if it was possible for your red face to get any redder. “no, i don’t, but… what does it mean?”

“the hell’s that mean?” katsuki narrowed his eyes as he hovered over you.

“i mean— is it just a one-night-stand-type thing? or… is it more?”

“one night stand?” katsuki’s nose crinkled in disgust. “hell no.”

“so this is it.” you confirm, still trying to catch your breath. god, he was a good kisser. “you like me and— and i like you. we’re official.”

“took you long enough.” katsuki— your katsuki— grumbled.

“what do you mean?” you blink.

“i mean i’ve— i’ve liked you for awhile, dammit!” katsuk said through gritted teeth. “idiot.”

“you have?” this was news to you.

“yes, dumbass!” katsuki snapped. “god, you’re stupid.”

“sorry.” you spare a grin. “i’ve liked you, too, katsuki.”

“maybe..” katsuki smirked, running his tongue over his top row of teeth. “maybe we oughta do this more often.”

“maybe.” you agree, not trusting yourself to say anything more while he was acting like this. like he was hot and he knew it. bastard.

and then he kisses you again. each one was rough and haphazardly placed but you felt each and every one and returned them with as much fervor as they came with. katsuki seemed satisfied with this reaction, and suddenly his lips were touching your jawline and then your neck and then your collarbone and—

“hey, there you are!” katsuki’s head whipped up, furious at the interruption as your eyes widened. you couldn’t see— the voice was behind you— but you recognized it well enough.

“the fuck are you doing here, shitty hair?” katsuki snapped angrily.

“sorry, man, i didn’t realize you guys were training.” kirishima apologized. “you guys looked pretty roughed up, it must’ve been a good fight!”

“yeah…” katsuki narrowed his eyes, glancing down at you in a look that said he knew damn well that the two of you looked roughed up— and not because of the fight. you imagined that he’d be smirking if kirishima weren’t there. “… good fight.”

“well, i just wanted to let you know that dinner’s ready. you guys coming?” kirishima asked. you could hear the smile in his voice.

“yeah. yeah, five minutes.” katsuki grunted.

“sounds good.” with that, kirishima left. you patted katsuki’s chest from under him.

“let’s hurry, i’m hungry.” you hum. katsuki dipped his head down, clearly intending to pick up where he left off.

“yeah, me too. that’s why i told him to leave.”

3. A FORGET ME NOT MARCO SEQUEL?!?!? Is it an after happy ending fluff fic or does it contain more angst? :’)))))))

OMG NANA SHAKESPEARE ERA!! QUEEN OF LITERATURE!! i honestly was never super super into the sonnets and mostly studied the plays, but i am familiar w sonnet 19 and this vampire matsuhana comment made me go CRAZY. i've always rly liked sonnet 19 because of how violently the passing of time is described... "Devouring time" is also just like a delicious series of words... like yeah time IS devouring.... that guy mighta been onto something. (also i had to double check this info bc i was sure i made it up but i'm p ReTT y sure this sonnet in particular is believed to be written from a female perspective!! which i just love!!)

MAFIA NANNY SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING I WOULD BE INTO MAYHAPS I WILL BE CHECKIN THAT ONE OUT!! also yes liv nanny arc was a very interesting season of my life heheh (choosing not to acknowledge the yakuza!suna reference for my own peace of mind xoxo) re: yakuza + single dad.... I am here to drop headcanons for this amazing world we are building.

1 - Kai's friends with Julian but that's a bit strained because Julain really doesn't understand or respect Kai's marriage (perhaps unrequited love plays a part?). Martin is someone Kai met through Dec and they are close even if Kai's a little intimidated by him. Jorgi is also one of Kai's friends and planned the entire baby shower. Kai has friends but also feels completely isolated outside of jurrien and declan and suffocated by them sometimes.

2. Ben's baby is still a baby and Kalvin is the father except only the two of them know that. Ben got pregnant before they even told anyone they were together and kalvin left the night Ben told him. He'd only wanted a fling. Ben meets Wilo shortly after giving birth but keeps him an arms length despite feeling some type of way about him. Ben has sworn not to let anyone get close enough to hurt him or his baby ever.

3. Trossard and KT have three kids and have sworn to stop at three. It will surprise nobody when Leo announces a fourth baby is on its way a month or so after their anniversary.

4. Dec knows Leo and Ben because their families all work in and around the same business and remembers how shocked everyone was when Leo brought KT to a party for the first time. KT is not from their world and always seems stand offish unless he's around Leo. He's so in love with Leo that Dec and Ben have accepted him as Leo's other half and know that if they tell Leo something that he'll know to. Dec and Ben like to drink with KT because he doesn't ask questions when they want to drown their sorrows like Leo does. He just drinks pints and shares his crisps.

5. All of Dec's friends and Martin are team Declan. Julian is team Jurrien. Jorgi is team Kai and wants Kai to be happy and safe.

6. Ben is bitter that kai has two guys wanting to be the father of his baby when he didn't even have one. He feels guilty for such thoughts and is completely unaware of how bad Wilo wants to be with him.

7. Dec needs a distraction from the Kai situation and decides that convincing Ben to date is a worthwhile distraction. At some point Dec says something that makes Ben fear that be wants the two of them to date. Dec decides if he can't fix his problems he should fix everyone else's and Martin ends up as his next target because surely someone so lovely shouldn't be single right?

8. KT and Leo convince Kai that babysitting their three kids would be excellent practice. Kai disagrees but they both look so tired and desperate that he agrees. Declan helps and its a nice afternoon of domestic fluff. Kai falls more in love seeing Dec interact with kids while Dec's heartbreaks the more he sees Kai interact with kids because he's so convinced that the baby isn't his and that they'll never have this.

9. As promised Dec is there for Kai and of course so is Jurrien. They both hold his hands at sonograms and fetch his cravings and dote on him. He loves them both in different ways, he hopes Jurrien is willing to be their friend after the baby is born and that Dec will allow it.

10. Kai is terrified of giving birth and while Jorginho is the logical person for him to seek advice from. He ends up talking to Ben about it at the baby shower.

Girl I agreeee with you all the girl looks the same. Maybe is they had different highlights, skin tone or nationality would of made the mv a bit better.
