What I love about misfits and magic also is that Evan Kelmp's inherent constant state of possession is just like.. never explained. Like no there was never like a big ritual or something he was just like. Born like that.

I love what Aabria brings to the table for her players. She's always swinging big, and it's always fun to see everyone have a joy together. She's a wonderful curator of experience. I'm rewatching magic & misfits because i forgot i already watched it (it's me, I'm the problem) and so I'm re-experiencing them all getting their wands

I don't know how big the crossover is between the fandoms is but Evan Kelmp is a babygirl to me in the same way that Peter Spankoffski is a scrungle. They are filed away in the same folder in my brain.

Magic & Misfits on Dropout is so good that it's improving my life quality. I am literally putting my phone down and delaying continuing watching it because just knowing it exists in my life makes my life better and I have it to look forward to and go back to.

This is like… found family that indulges in all the sacred and beautiful moments between friends, and lets the plot run in the background as a way to keep the movement running.

It puts it's characters into situations and lets them play those situations with their fullest hearts and I love every moment of it.

I love D20 but... the fight episodes bore the shit outta me. The reason I love Magic and Misfits, Court of Fey and Flowers and Burrows End (weird how the DM is @quiddie) is bc while there's plenty of conflict it's all character social stuff and not infinite rolling and damage.

I'm rewatching Fantasy High and my goddess, it's like every other ep is a battle (and knowing that this was the 1st play with this now classic team makes sense). Same with The Seven, although that one wasn't so battle full but the one in the middle was legit 3 hours long!

And I think that's a me thing. I want roll playing, story and narrative with some violence within the game.

And based on what I've seen the Kids on Bikes platform is for me. Plus I like the sparklies you get if you fail.

Okay you know what though I am not done talking about evan kelmp and Peter spankoffski HOWEVER . Paul and Evan would have more in common. Guy who is in a story and rejects being a meow meow, guy who is in a musical and hates musicals. Are you considering the implications. Guys who wish they could be boring in peace. Guys infected by otherworldly creatures. I'm so close to writing a fanfic just so I can send evan to hatchetfield I want him to fight the lords in black. Are you considering
