Why ship Edwin with Charles when the Cat King fucking exists ?! Edwin & Charles also literally remind me a little the case of the duo Alec & Jace :

I would like to point out that I have nothing at all against the Edwin & Charles ship and that they could surely work completely in the future if Charles ever returns Edwin's feelings with certainty (I also think that they will surely be canon in the future if continuation of the netflix show there is). I even like them a little. But I definitely don't feel the spark between them, compared to Edwin with the Cat King... Sorry not Sorry !

Alec's entire body was bent over the lifeless body cradled between his arms, his head resting in the crook of his dead father's neck as he ran his hands along Robert's body.

There were convulsive movements and loud, disjointed sounds slowly increasing in intensity around him, but he seemed somehow detached from what was happening.

His posture was rigid, his arms strong, but Magnus didn't miss the slight trembling between his shoulder blades as he stepped out of the portal.

I was thinking recently that I didn't know which I preferred between the following 3 categories, compared to the immortal/mortal couples. Do I prefer it when one becomes immortal for the other? Do I prefer it when one becomes deadly to the other? Or, do I prefer the two of them to remain who they are, fully accepting each other and enjoying the time they have together? Honestly I don't know. I think it all depends on how it's done. I mean, I love Feysand, where Feyre becomes immortal. Tentoorose, or the doctor becomes mortal. And finally Malec, or both, accepts the immortality and mortality of the other to enjoy the current life that they lead to the fullest. I like all 3 types of ships. But I can't say which I prefer. I think it all depends on how the story is told.
