ever since that incident had occurred, general jing yuan had decided to enforce security measures around the residential and city parts of xianzhou luofu. no woman should go through the terrors that you've been through, and never shall you ever suffer through those traumatizing events ever again.
the one thing that was definitely different though was how you stood up for yourself. you never once did, in fear that your father would scold you... or really, it was your brain that was so accustomed to fear, you were deathly afraid of standing up to it.
but you finally did. and you didn't know why—but the reason for it all was the man that stood in front of you several times, carrying a basket of fresh fruit and a small cutting knife in his free hand.
doctor's orders—you remained in the infirmary room for a couple of weeks now, and life had been strangely... well, unsurprisingly enough, peaceful. you were taken care of, and your husband had frequented the infirmary to visit you every day. he brought you a fresh plate of neatly cut fruit, some stories to tell, and he often brought mimi (sometimes the nurse hated how much she shed in the room) to purr and snuggle against you.
a day didn't pass without jing yuan visiting you, and you definitely expected his presence at least twice a day... or thrice, even.
...until today.
"huh? you're... you're going somewhere?" your eyes avert towards the general, confusion evident as he looked at you with his usual, loving and soft gaze. "where to? are... will you be busy?"
the marriage between you and jing yuan had definitely enabled some sort of separation anxiety behavior from you. he had always been by your side no matter what, especially during your days of recovering in the infirmary room.
"yes, y/n," he reached out to your countenance, his index finger brushing against your bangs, moving them behind your ear, "you will always be my priority. however, today must be different, for i must tend to my personal duties. i assure you that i will return safely, and the nurses will make sure that your needs are met during my absence."
...gone? was this a lie? a lie to get rid of you? no, no. stop, don't think like that. if he wanted to get rid of you, he would've done so already. you shake your head from your negative thoughts, fighting every bit of doubt and anxiety that plagued your mind.
"...okay." you nod, your gaze lowering to your bare hands, eyeing a piece of freshly cut strawberry in the palm of your hand, "please be safe... please come back home safely."
that was several hours ago.
to be specific, almost an entire day had passed since jing yuan left to his unknown expedition. for whatever reason, you didn't know. lieutenant yan qing wasn't around either, so you could only assume that his right hand man had accompanied him.
now, you were alone in your infirmary, sitting on your bed as you stared out into the moonlight. you could see the aurum alley from here, watching as the streets were bustling with joy, drunkards and happy children. you thought back to when jing yuan had taken you there, too. you had fun, up until you were abducted that same night.
nothing but your thoughts accompanied you, and you definitely were... tense. tense, anxious, nervous... and worried, even if you tried not to be worried.
you had missed jing yuan, and every time you had heard distant footsteps outside your door, you'd always expect and hope that it belonged to the military general. unfortunately, it wasn't exactly him, and it would be mere nurses who wandered around outside, even entering your room which gave you the false hope that your husband returned.
... but where did he go? he didn't tell you where, and wasn't being specific either. his personal... affairs? what did he mean by that?
you sighed silently to yourself as you got up from your bed, knowing you weren't supposed to be getting up. you grit your teeth, bearing through the pain as you wanted to know more information about his whereabouts... why he was being secretive. why he suddenly disappeared...
you knew you shouldn't be doing this but also... you missed the fresh breath of air. so you decided to sneak out, rip the medical monitor lines taped to your body and make your way outside whilst sneaking around the nurses and avoiding their gazes.
you were in pain, but you were losing your mind as you were stuck in that room for gods know how long? the moment you got out, you felt a fresh wave of freedom brushing over you... the same feeling where you left your home for the first time to move towards the sanctum.
you looked towards the sky, eyeing at the moon as it gazed upon you with his full glory, as though expecting you to return to it's brightening embrace. you inhale, taking in the fresh scent of air, missing the distant scent of herbal tea and nature that twirled within the air...
... ah, how you miss jing yuan. you wondered how he was doing...
"are you sure you want to do this?" yan qing frowned. "i mean, i'm not questioning your commands at all, sir. but it's just... do you suspect the l/n family is associated with the xianzhou black market of some kind?"
jing yuan nodded slowly. "notice the patterns of the past abductions. it's becoming quite obvious, even especially after what had happened with y/n. all women, all near her age, and all... hailing from troublesome families."
yan qing pondered for a moment, placing his knuckles underneath his chin as he closed his eyes.
"...general. what theories do you have then? for the reasoning of her abduction?"
"i'm assuming it'd have to do something with the disciples of sanctus medicus." jing yuan pursed his lips. "although, y/n's family did not have any history pertaining to... well, the cult itself. the father seemed too arrogant for any religious beliefs whatsoever, only wanting power."
"he didn't seem he was interested in eternal life, but money instead." yan qing added, looking towards the household that belonged to the l/n family.
it was a massive structure, built off of wealth itself. there were several floors to it, and each room was probably filled with a grand amount of fortune. both yan qing and jing yuan stood before the structure, with a singular cloud knight that stood behind the two.
"does miss y/n know... that we're here?" yan qing looked towards his leader, who responded with a shake of his head.
"i do not want her to be troubled by her family anymore... i doubt 'family' is a fitting term for what they are to her. i believe this part of her deserves to be torn away from who she is. after all, if these abductions are related to her father, then we might as well try to find evidence and stop them before something else occurs."
yan qing nodded. "yes, general."
the lieutenant glances back to the cloud knight, nodding towards him. "as we planned before, you will be coming with me. while the general speaks to the family."
the cloud knight saluted, "yes sir!"
when jing yuan, yan qing and the cloud knight entered the building, they were greeted by the servants of the l/n family. the head of the l/n family, y/n's father, had shown a false façade of a wonderful and kind father. he approaches the general, holding his hands with glee as yan qing and the cloud knight discreetly separated from the general, leaving him alone with the family.
"ah, general jing yuan! i am honored to see you again," y/n's father said as he held the man's hands, shaking them firmly, "why, i heard about the recent injury that my daughter has been inflicted by. that is such terrible news, i'm saddened by the fact i am unable to see my precious daughter, as i have been troubled by my work and..."
as he went off, jing yuan's kind smile never left him. he read through this man easily — what a liar.
"ah, it's alright that you can't visit her, my father," jing yuan speaks in a formal voice, bowing his head with his kind smile, "i understand your duties, for i am the general of xianzhou luofu, after all. i can relate to your priorities and the tasks you must face." jing yuan laughed with your father. "i apologize for showing up while you are busy with your tasks."
"oh, no no no! not at all," your father shook his head, "why, you actually came in perfect timing! i had prepared some lavender tea. my dearest wife had ordered some a while back and they actually came today."
jing yuan nodded. "i see. i would love to have some."
while jing yuan was occupied with your father, yan qing and the cloud knight were handling their own mission. they tracked down where the office was that belonged to your father while hiding from the wandering servants and your relatives before reaching to the door of the office. they entered, greeted by the smell of fresh, lavender tea.
"search his cabinets," yan qing said, "i'll search his desk."
"yes, sir."
yan qing proceeded make his way towards the office desk, looking through his paperwork. some of it wasn't even relevant to the mission as some paperwork was related to money, something about hiring new servants and...
"...?"
his eyes laid upon a letter that caught his eye, terms of it catching his attention immediately.
┈┈┈
...head of the l/n family. we will accept your beautiful daughter as a vessel to our beloved yaoshi. please do the following for us:
the vessel of yaoshi must be lifeless, unfortunately. yaoshi must not accompany a body with a soul already residing within. the body must be beheaded, or dead.
we look forward to your delivery,
disciples of the sanctus medicus.
┈┈┈
"lieutenant, sir! i have found something." the cloud knight speaks up, holding up several documents. each one were well hidden in between a bookshelf, and each one were labeled with "disciples of sanctus medicus".
yan qing pocketed the letter he found before approaching the cloud knight, grabbing the papers he held before looking towards his ally's discovery. more information about y/n... her weight, height, age, birthday... there was a look of disgust on yan qing's face as he pocketed it.
"... disgusting." he murmured. "we'll take these and report back to the general. let's leave, quickly."
"yes, sir!"
"it was so nice seeing you, jing yuan! please, visit us again." y/n's mother stated as she embraced her husband's arm, watching as the general waved goodbye, leaving on his own.
it didn't take long for the general to return to his headquarters, where he was greeted by the discovery of the connection of yaoshi's cult and y/n.
his hand was placed underneath his chin, eyes gazing upon each piece of evidence found.
"...sir." yan qing said to jing yuan. "you're hiding this from lady y/n... yes?"
"that is the plan. there is too much trauma she has already faced. we don't need to torment her more by bringing up her past... and its discoveries."
"even so," the lieutenant frowned, "i feel as if this is information that she needs to hear."
"...hm. for now, we hide this from her. later on when we arrest her father, we'll reveal the evidence and... tell her."
"yes, general."

No matter the current situation versus potential situation, there are going to be parts of a move that suck and are stressful. Especially so if it involves moving states. But just because Some parts are going to inevitably suck doesn't mean all of it is doomed to. I'm not sure where your current residence is, but one good thing about moving somewhere that has regular heatwaves is that there are more resources available when it comes to dealing with them. IK that sounds kinda silly but I feel like it's the truth, ESP when it comes to moving somewhere that gets a lot of tourists. I don't want to be an old man "it's not the heat, it's the humidity" but as a native Floridian I can't help but stress that it's the truth xD.
Leaving a support system does sound very scary, but if it is around Orlando/Lake Buena Vista that you want to move to, at least it should be within reasonable distance of an airport when it comes to calling for help or needing to fly out for some reason. Traffic is going to suck, but like the heat it's something you will get used to. This is a move people make a lot, and while that doesn't make it any easier, I hope it helps it feel like it's not so dumb and impossible. Another thing I want to include in this word wall is this: You're smart and an adult and I'm sure you don't need to be told that you're probably not going to get the exact position you want right away. It might be something you have to work up towards or have just a 'getting by' job until you do get your foot in the door or on the path to the door you wanna go through. It's gonna be hard and there are gonna be days in your happy place that aren't as happy and there are probably times you're gonna feel like it sucks. But sucky days aren't going to completely eliminate the possibility of good days. I believe in you and have all of my fingers and toes crossed that this is something that works out in your favor with as few hiccups as possible. The chances of there being no hiccups at all is really slim, but, I am still hoping and praying that things swing in your favor as much as they can.
I needed to hear all this today, thank u 🥰
You’re right, I hadn’t thought of the various resources for heat they’ve got. My previous college program, they were able to move me to nights or early mornings which was nice! I really enjoyed working those. Opening was a joy tbh. Closing was a joy as well.
That is the area - like a 20 mile range from WDW lol. The traffic is something I’m not as worried about because I did it in my programs and lawd my hometown has it worse.
I’m coming from a gentrified medium city on the Eastern seaboard that’s gotten too many incoming tourists for our infrastructure to handle. It’s bumper to bumper from 4:30 to 6 at cross sections because there’s only one or two major routes. Maddening.
You’re right about the airport. My town flies direct to MCO so that’ll be easy. (Just gotta solve the pets for trips back and forth…)
Absolutely, I’m expecting to have to network and work my way up. I’m going to apply for everything when the time is right and see what sticks. My husband will be able to find a job, EZPZ. I’ve got a nice resume and I’m planning to really make my LinkedIn page nice? Try to network on Disney’s alumni website too. See if I can find any work that’s $20+ with them. 🤷🏼‍♀️ If not, I’ll go executive assistant route or try the other theme park or teach. (In Florida? It’s lowest on my list.) Disney has multiple roles for me to use my education degree. Just, like you said, got to get my foot in the door
Thank u kind stranger. This is a large move. And it’s not impossible… But it is life changing. It’s not just me involved. Thinking about how much I love my current job (at the moment) is making me hesitate too. Idk, next years’s students may have me packing my bags.
Our plan is to move at the new year. Professional internships will have started if I need to go that route. I’ll have stayed a semester at my school, we’ll have Christmas goodbyes and enough money saved to pay everything we need to for the move. Just feels right.

When I look at the timeline, it looks always like a distraction from a distraction. ///
Original anon and yep!
And if we go back and look at everyone from the view of her image needing cleaned and rehabbed, then this all makes more fucking sense. I mean, WN got cancelled, so what could we possibly need this to go in longer for?
Now we know.
And the thing about all the rehab, and what has again pushed me even more into this was never real, not even sleeping together is the fact that all of the distractions CAME ONLY FROM HER SIDE.
SMA rolls out-relationship announced. Pap walk. Comments begin to fly, get nasty. Why did she leave up all of the horrible ones about him? Because if the distraction of this relationship didn’t work, she could fall back into she was groomed and this man took advantage of her.
Yoga-he left ATL, didn’t look back. We clowned her so fucking hard, she created an absurd lie. The only one she could come up with because it was VERY VALIDLY pointed out that we have never seen them together except the pap walk.
WDW-she’s clowned for yoga, being left in ATL. She shows up. We couldn’t figure out why they would use a well known foreign Netflix star but who wasn’t well known here. What better way to make it look completely random, but she was working with not the brightest crayons in the crayon box.
WDW pictures-after the absolute shredding of the video, here come 3 pictures. Still ripped and shred, clowned even more.
Cue the reveal of the true nature of her and her friends. I honestly think she was waiting for his camp to step up and do something. But seeing what the actual issue was, I think they absolutely refused to say or do anything to create any type of distraction because they don’t defend racism/antisemitism. We’ve seen she’s comfortable with nudes and sex. I honestly now think that was her distraction, but also her attempt ti humiliate him and she failed there too. And I think that’s partly why she deactivated.
Putting all of this non line with the actual release of the movie she wanted dead: this all makes so much more fucking sense. It also, to me, explains the lack of any type of enthusiasm on his end, or even the lack of ability to pretend
I'm not sure if I understand your main point. What makes me think is why is she uncomfortable with that movie. She has no problem with being nude. She leaked her own nudes but thanks to his team that almost no one spoke about it.

They were clearly there towards the end of the VT trip like how Alba was there the last two days of WDW! Omg they got sent back home real quick and COMMERCIAL! And on economy (most likely)! Listen if I’m Chris even for 3 months- it’s gonna be real and my man would take me WITH him to ATL or if I CHOOSE to go back home for a bit he gonna send me in first class darling! Sorry Alba- so much for “loving relationship-family adores her/ together for over a year”
Yes! If they were in love, she definitely could've stayed there with him, or if she needed to go home, Chris could've gotten a private plane. He just simply doesn't care.
They were done with the necessary part, and their trip ended.

In my opinion, this whole situation looks like something that was never supposed to be public info and has basically gone down hill since it came out. And because of that, I don’t think it’ll last very long, probably until February or it may even stretch into March at the most. I do think that Chris and Alba were hooking up on/off, but as time went on fans were getting suspicious of everything. The innocent, real-life Cap, ready to settle down Chris was beginning to be questioned and picked apart. Him seeing or hooking up with someone half his age, when it’s only assumed he wants someone with his shared life experience meaning someone around his age. So the narrative that needed to stick and was pushed is that he’s still the same guy, he’s actually in a serious relationship with someone, and that’s he’s finally found the one who he’s ready to share the type of life he’s been spewing about wanting for so long. But he nor his team were ready for the backlash or scrutiny that this whole thing brought. Getting called horrific names like groomer, pedo, and pervert was something that they’d never think they’d see. Fans taking off the shades and seeing him for who he really is. A grown man who has no problem liking or hooking up with younger women despite calling their same-age counterparts “kids”, and all of the babying and blindly defending him was done for next to nothing. Which sadly, has left a lot of his fans feeling manipulated and betrayed. Especially with some unfortunately getting blocked on social media. His words didn’t match his actions and it’s a hard pill to swallow. And I do see why some people believe he isn’t serious about her, or doesn’t take this whole “relationship” serious. Look at his most recent relationship. He was one of the reasons a marriage came to an end, and proudly with his chest out, went public with a relationship within the same time frame his new girlfriend was announcing her divorce. Openly took her to places with him like Sydney, his family went to her movie premiere, and she even blended in with his family while being at WDW twice. Look at Londongate of 2020. Although we all knew that was definitely a PR stunt and an image cleanup (mainly for Lily herself), his whole attitude and body language said that even though it’s fake he was actually into the moment. He was never stiff, he actually touched her back in a way that showed he was engaged with her, and even though both of their faces were covered they had a good laugh or two with the duty they were given. But with Alba things seem off. Throughout their “whole year” together, not a single person ever spotted this man with a new woman. When it’s finally announced they’re together and they do their first public walk, he looks overtly covered up (even though his clothes & signature cap gave him away), very stiff, and their touch doesn’t look like a genuine “we’re so happy, we can’t stop touching each other” way. He preferred to keep his hands at his side, in his pockets, balled into a fist, or hold his own belongings. This second go-round was not much better even though it was very shortly seen. While she is out in the open and deciding to just go face free despite wearing sunglasses, here he is again overtly covered up. Instead of a signature ball cap, he takes it a step further by where a full fledge bucket hat. One that covers his entire head and hair. He dons sunglasses and an entire mask that’s just seated right under the shades. You wouldn’t know that was him if it wasn’t for her showing off her infamous back tattoo. We can say he wore a mask for work, but why didn’t his best friend and assistant whose also there in the this second walk wear one to? He works with Chris on set day in and day out, if the case was to protect himself from catching anything then his friend would be wearing one too. Alba not so much, but definitely those two. Both sides of the spectrum have opinions on this matter, and it’s better to respect it than fight about whose right and whose wrong.

Some Thoughts on the New Hero Section of Fantasmic! at WDW
First things first, I was having major deja vu/flashbacks to my younger self when I first got into Fantasmic! and watched I don’t know how many POVs of Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Tokyo DisneySea’s version. This ultimately led me to start comparing all three versions in how they differed, what I liked about each version, and which version I felt had done a certain segment the best.
Secondly, I have technically only seen Disneyland’s version of Fantasmic! live, so all my thoughts and whatnot about WDW’s version are based entirely on what I’ve seen through videos alone.
That being said, here’s a video of WDW’s Fantasmic! in all its glory upon its return to Hollywood Studios.
youtube
So...I absolutely adore this show and was really bummed that it was not running when I visited WDW this past summer. But, hey, it’s back now and stunning as ever!
Now, time for my uncalled for and unnecessary commentary!
The first thought I had was how the Mickey dialogue leading up to this section was changed from “Hey, what’s going on. Uh-oh” to “Hey, what’s going on. I could use a little help. Hello?” This switch in dialogue I think was the right choice because it no longer transitions into a large fight sequence (which used to be based on Pocahontas at WDW, and at Disneyland’s version, there is no dialogue change but this transition is used to lead into the Peter Pan (1.0)/Pirates of the Caribbean (2.0) fight sequence). Mickey’s just in the dark, needing some help, and with the following section leading into several heroes own journey and rise to their own power/self, Mickey is no longer “entering” a fight sequence that would justify his “Uh-oh.”
As was just mentioned, I absolutely love how the first movie or hero to be featured in this new section is Pocahontas since it feels very much like paying tribute or honor to the section it is now replacing.
The next heroes to come on-stage is Mulan and Shang in a number based on “I’ll Make A Man Out of You.” Now, I love what I saw on-stage in terms of the fight choreography and how it appears they are in the middle of training, I just wish there were more ensemble members also joining in. With Mulan and Shang standing in the center of the stage, just the two of them, I can’t help but feel the rest of the stage is a little bare/empty. I understand that only a limited number of cast members are involved in this show, most likely already handling multiple roles, but could a few more really not be added to this number? I will concede though and say that I am glad they at least projected scenes from this number onto the water screens to give the effect of more people being trained to defeat the Huns.
And now, to my favorite movie, Aladdin, who is the next hero to come on-stage. My very initial thought was how it feels reminiscent of “One Jump Ahead” from  Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at the Hyperion Theater in California Adventure. And as a huge fan of that show, I loved it. Additionally, it made me so happy that the reprise was also included because I feel it doesn’t get enough love.
For whatever reason, I thought the “One Jump Ahead (Reprise)” was the end of this new segment and I was satisfied and completely fine with that. But then, “Show Yourself” and Elsa come on out in their beautiful segment. I don’t have too much to say about this section, other than I thought the combination of the character on-stage and the water screens and projections worked really well together. This particular section felt like those two elements really complimented each other in all the right ways. That being said, I will again add that I am basing this judgement off of a video and the effect in person might come off differently/not as well.
Moana is the final hero to be featured in this new section, and just like the audience in the video, I was screaming when she jumped into/stood at the edge of the water. Such a perfect effect for Moana and especially in this specific part of her story where she fully steps into accepting herself and the role she now has after being chosen by the ocean to put back the heart of Te Fiti.
This leads into a final water screen section with other heroes also being highlighted before leading into what I refer to as the Princess section.
One lingering thought I have, which does not diminish how much I truly do enjoy this section, with Mickey’s call for help or aid, and each hero responding in their own glory, either through the projections or on-stage, this section feels like it should come towards the end of the show after Mickey has gone up against at least one of the villains. You know, a sort of Mickey fought and was defeated and needs a little bit of encouragement from all these heroes and heroines to rise up against Maleficent or any subsequent villain. But due to its placement in the middle of the show, it feels like all these characters should still be finding themselves and not quite at their full potential or acceptance of who they are, mirroring Mickey’s journey in Fantasmic! However, this is not the case or the vibe I got from this section, and one reason why I thought the Aladdin segment would serve as the end of this new section. Honestly though, this might just be a personal opinion, and again, does not diminish my already newfound love that I have for this section.
So in conclusion, I absolutely love the new Heroes Section in WDW’s version of Fantasmic! and I hope I can see it in person one day. Do I have some lingering thoughts and feelings? Yes, but not enough to dampen my overall enjoyment of it. And this new section really gives Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean/Sailing Ship Colombia section a run for its money, even though each now serves a different narrative purpose.
Let me know what your thoughts are on this new section or any memories you feel like sharing about Fantasmic! because I just love this show so much and would love to read about yours!

Day 18: A small world after all
Yeah, I should've spent the whole day at Tokyo Disneyland. I needed a top-up of my pixie dust.
Got sick of the free hotel breakfasts, so I went for gyudon instead. I'm going to miss savoury breakfasts when I get back.
Zipped down to Shimbamba on the Keikyu Line to visit something I read about in Japan Times last month - the Home Run Jizo. It's a memorial to a child that struck up a relationship with Sadaharu Oh, Japan's home run king. I left a few coins to thank it for giving us good weather this trip.
Tumblr media
From there, I scampered to the free observatory at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Mercifully the line was much shorter than when I tried the first round in Tokyo, and I was able to get up and take some snaps on the good camera. Even spotted Meiji Jingu Stadium!
Opted for a small nigiri set at Mikorezushi nearby.
Tumblr media
Going to miss that, too.
Headed back to the hotel to repack and see if I went over my duty exemption (yes, I had, oh boy). Then it was off to Tokyo Disneyland. Tokyo Disney Resort offers a cheaper ticket if you enter after 6pm on weekdays, which is what I took advantage of.
Stopped in at Ikspiari (their version of a Disney Springs) for a craft beer (!) and currywurst. Pretty darn good!
Tumblr media
And then, into the land. As soon as that background music hits, it's hard to be in a bad mood or sulk about the impending end of your vacation.
Even though my primary purpose for going was for souvenirs and the FastPasses for the day were gone (they haven't implemented FP+ like at WDW...yet), I was still able to get five rides in. Lineup gods be praised!
Star Tours: The Adventure Continues - I was the Rebel spy, and we had Hoth and Naboo as our destinations
Roger Rabbit's Car-Toon Spin - new to me, and some very good sight gags in here
Pooh's Hunny Hunt - a Tokyo exclusive, and vastly better than what Magic Kingdom has. The Tigger bouncing and Heffalump/Woozle scenes are spectacular
Monsters Inc Ride & Go Seek - another Tokyo exclusive. The car is meant to seat two, so I on my own got to use both flashlights in the ride. Made some people chuckle in the queue by trying to be an airport ground crew.
Pirates of the Caribbean - this one started off in a Louisiana bayou since it abuts the Blue Bayou restaurant before becoming the standard ride. And yes, the redhead is still up for auction here.
The fireworks got nixed due to wind, and I skipped the parade - pretty sure these helped me get on as many rides as I did.
Checked in with Nick afterwards and we decided on one last ramen run for the trip.
Tumblr media
(those bamboo shoots are actually his - oops!)
I'm writing this before checking out of our hotel. We've got lunch planned at an Iron Chef restaurant, and then we're bound for the airport. I have juuuust enough yen to see me through.
I'll do a final trip report once I'm home and lucid, and then start uploading the pictures from my DSLR.

A heavenly reunion pt. 1; Queen x reader
*Author's note*
This is it guys. After almost 3 years of writing this series it's FINALLY come to the end.  Like all good things, they must end eventually so here it is. The LAST chapter of my Rock Angel series.
I first want to point out the YEARS (except Freddie's death date) DON'T MEAN ANYTHING. I'M NOT TRYING TO PREDICT THE FUTURE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I just picked these random years to represent when the remaining members of Queen will pass, AGAIN THESE AREN'T REAL DATES AND I HOPE THEY AREN'T.
Pt. 2 will be up in just a few minutes so until then, enjoy this first part.

*3rd Person POV. June 23rd, 2051*
Rock star, animal rights activist, founder of organizations like ANGELS CURING AIDS, WORDS CAN HURT TOO; Victims and survivors of emotional and verbal abuse, and the ANGELS AGAINST STALKING that helps protect people from violent stalkers. Also apart of charities like the Mercury Phoenix Trust foundation. The Rock Angel (Y/n) Kline had lived a full life.
She continued to tour with Queen as they got many other partnerships throughout the years. But she most enjoyed collaborating with Adam Lambert as he reminded her of him, bright and ambitious just wanting to share his music with the world and he knew he could never fill in Freddie's shoes but he sure as hell made a name for himself in his own way.
She was also a part of the "Bohemian Rhapsody" film that had been made and got to know the actors playing the men that she had grown up with and came to see them as her true family. Ten years after the film released, her own story got to be told thanks to the rights of Paramount and the brilliant mind of Dexter Fletcher, who had directed the story of her boys and Elton John, another one of her dearest friends and mentors.
But now at the crippled age of 90, the Rock Angel now lived in the privacy of her home in London. She was forced to stop touring because just 3 years ago she was diagnosed with a form of dementia.
It was hard on her family and her 4 children and dozens of grandchildren even great-grandchildren to see the once strong woman they had once admired for so long and looked up to as a role model not only in music, but life.
In their current home of London, her husband of over 70 years Jack who had made a name for himself. After the whole stalking incident, Jack joined the ranks of the LAPD. He worked himself all the way to the top and became Chief for over 30 years before he retired by the time he was in his 60's.
He sat there by his wife's bedside stroking her long white hair as she lay there forced into bedrest. She looked up at him and whispered.
"Jack?"
"I'm here baby."
"Where are they? Where are my boys?" she asked.
"Our sons? They're just downstairs."
"No, no. I meant my boys." At those two words, Jack's heart broke as he looked at his wife sympathetically.
"Baby they've—they died. It's been so many years since they all left this world." At hearing her boys were dead, tears fell down her face but Jack held onto his wife and kissed the top of her head. "But I can show you their videos, if you'd like."
"Please. I need to see them. To tell them goodbye." Jack then reached for the I-pad and opened up the Youtube app and began typing in the very song that he knew he would need.
He knew his wife didn't have long and he wanted her to have one last happy memory of hearing the perfect song written by her boys.
Together they held the I-pad and soon the music video "These are the days of our lives" came on.
"Why does Fred look so sick?" she asked worriedly. Jack swallowed the lump in his throat and tried to explain.
"He was suffering from AIDS, and it—really affected him love."
"I wish I could've taken care of him." She said as she stroked the screen every time Freddie came on screen. At the instrumental break as she watched Brian skillfully play the guitar, she smiled and said. "Bri....he was such a good guitar player."
"He was, but nothing compared to you." Jack praised obviously playing favorites. He then took notice of his wife growing tired as the song ended.
It was time.
"It's okay baby, you can rest now." And she did just that. Her breathing slowed right as Freddie spoke the last 'I still love you' line and the video ended. "Goodnight my Rock Angel. Be with your boys once again." He then let out a sob as he leaned against his deceased wife.
At 10:45am on June 23rd, 2051 (Y/n) Kline was pronounced dead at the old age of 90.
Everyone who had collaborated with the Rock Angel or had looked up to her all gathered at her funeral. Close friends and family all came to mourn at the loss of the last of the greatest Rock and Roll singers. She was buried in her birth town of Leicestershire, right next to her real parents.
*My POV*
I felt peaceful. My mind was no longer hazy. I could remember everything once again, but what confused me was where I was. I found myself walking through a long corridor but as I passed a mirror, I stopped and backed up to find a shocking surprise.
I was young again.
I looked to be about the age of 19, when I first met the guys. My hair was in the same long wavy fashion I once had before I cut it. I stroked along my cheek just to see if this was real or a dream, but as I stroked it I found that it was. Suddenly a door opened before me and I don't know why but I found myself walking toward it.
Now I was in what looked like an office with everything you would see. Filing cabinets, a large desk filled with paperwork but what caught my attention was the abacus that stood at the front center of the desk.
"Ahh (Y/n) Kline, please come forward." I turned to see a man around his 60's with short black hair, a grim like face with sharp cheekbones and icy blue eyes. He wore a black business suit and he was intimidating but for some reason I came forward toward the desk.
He sat down and pulled out a file and began reading through it humming to himself then he said.
"Place your hand over the abacus." I looked at it to see that the color code was white and black. White at top and black at the bottom.
"What is this?"
"This shall determine your next step. Just place your hand over it and let fate do the rest." I didn't know what this was gonna mean but again I saw myself place my hand over it and the second I did, it started going frantic.
Moving up and down frantically with no one even touching it. It was mostly balanced most of the way until it finally majority of the counters went white. The man smiled and said.
"Give my regards to those Rockstar friends' of yours. I'll be looking forward to your next concert." He then snapped his fingers and everything went bright.
Next thing I knew, I heard the sound of birds chirping and felt the sun beaming down on me. I was then greeted with wide open fields and a giant house along with several barn-like homes. It was like Garden Lodge and Rockfield farm mixed into one.
As I stood a few feet away from the main mansion-like house I swore from the second window of the white satin curtains I saw movement. I walked towards the house and placed my hand on the doorknob, I paused for a few seconds before I finally opened the door. I walked in and it was exactly like Freddie's home of Garden Lodge.
I walked through the threshold to see the grand staircase to my right, the long corridor ahead of me and the entrance to the living room to my left.
"Hello?" I said as I stood there. It was then I felt something nuzzle between my legs and I heard a meow. I heard it again and I looked down to see a very familiar face. "Hey, Delilah." I picked her up and held her as she purred and nuzzled my face. I scratched under her chin and she lowered her head to lick my hand.
"No it should be more like this." I heard a low, smooth baritone voice say.
"No, no and no Mr. tuxedo! Bernie has it like this and it shall remain this way. He and I are the genius piano and songwriting duo and it'll stick to this rhythm and timing." Another voice boasted out.
Oh my god.....It can't be. I set Delilah down and she took off running up the stairs as I crossed the living room into the parlor where Fred kept his piano to see two men that I had not seen in forever.
"David? Elton?" I spoke up. The two men turned toward me. David looked so much healthier than last I saw him and he looked younger just like me, in fact he looked about the same age he was when he did Live aid as well as working on the Jim Henson project 'the Labyrinth'.
Elton on the other hand looked about the age from when he was first starting off, back before he began experimenting with all the drugs and all that. The vibrant ginger hair but he still had on those flamboyant sunglasses he always loved to wear.
"Is that—really you?" I asked bewildered.
"Oh shit it can't be. The high angel herself, the Rock Angel?" Elton dramatic tone.
"Yes, it's me."
"Ohh darling. Welcome home." David greeted me with a wide smile and open arms as he walked up to me. He embraced me as he chuckled warmly and said, "Did you have a good life darling?"
"Uh-huh. I had the best life." I said, my voice muffled within his blue suit.
"It looked like you did love." We separated and I couldn't help but admire just how healthy he was.
"How have you been David?"
"Much better darling. No more chemo, I can finally breathe again."
"That's good."
"Alright you overgrown smooth talker, let me at her now." Elton proclaimed as he shoved David aside and immediately came up and kissed both of my cheeks before embracing me. "Oh darling we sure have missed you."
"And I you Elton. Life just hasn't been the same without your music."
"Been practicing those scales I taught you?" he asked pointedly.
"Yes, whenever I could."
"That's my girl." He hugged me again and I buried my face into his shoulder.
"(Y/n)?" a choir of voices soon rang up. I felt my heart stop as I lifted my head, not believing what I was hearing. Elton let go of me and both he and David with soft smiles on their faces told me to go and see who it was. The four voices called out my name again.
I crossed through the parlor, ran across the living room until I came to the door and just halfway up the staircase, I felt my smile widen and tears fill my eyes.
"My boys."
"You're finally here!" Freddie proclaimed. My legs raced directly up the stairs and Freddie, Brian, Roger and John all gathered me at the center in a long awaited Queen group hug.
All I felt were arms wrapped around me tightly, kisses all over my head and face and gentle hair and back strokes. I don't even know how long we were in that hug for but I didn't care, all I cared about was the fact my boys were here all together. When we finally separated I finally got a good look at all four of them.
They were all so young and vibrant just like how I first saw them back in concert long before I became an intern, I would like to think they were now the same ages they were when they first played at the Rainbow back in 1974. Long hair and all.
"I can't believe you four are here." I praised.
"And we can't believe you're here. And with your long hair again, was this when you were most happy?" asked Brian.
"If by that you mean when I first became Miami's intern? Yeah, best day of my life. Do you guys hate it?"
"No darling we've loved you no matter what your hair length is." Freddie said as he stroked the ends of my hair.
"I only just hope you didn't bring along any extreme surprises. Belly button rings, more tattoos." Deacy teased me. I chuckled but felt tears fall down my face.
"Aww lovie what is it?" Roger cooed as I felt him rub my shoulder. All four of them looking at me with those concerned puppy dog eyes they all knew how to do.
"I'm sorry. It's just—I missed you four so much." They all awed as Freddie first took me in his arms and said with his head leaning against mine.
"I know darling. It seems like it's been forever since the five of us were together."
"Coming from you Fred you have no idea." I wept as I gripped onto him as tight as I could, burying my face into his long black hair which softly tickled my face.
God if there's anything I missed about Freddie, it was his warm hugs. They were always so warm and inviting, anyone who was lucky enough to be given any sign of affection from this loveable man was considered lucky, and I was fortunate to be one of those people, and now finally after almost 60 years, I was able to feel that affection once more.
We were now upstairs in the master bedroom to do some private catching up.
"Alright sister dear, come here you." Deacy said. I smiled and immediately went into his arms and he embraced me. As all of you know, after Freddie's death, Deacy was the one to take it the hardest. So much so that he hardly played at any Queen gigs except for maybe three occasions then by 1997 he officially retired and no one had heard from him since.
The guys and I respected his decision so in order to make sure he was alright, I kept in contact with Veronica and would occasionally ask how Deacy was doing as well as the kids. I had learned that the two of them had two more kids, Luke and Cameron and the two of them had been successful in their own ways, all of the Deacy kiddies had, especially Luke who followed in his dad's footsteps and played in a band of his own.
In fact with the permission of the parents, I had allowed my nephew Luke to play at a few of my tours, and god just seeing him play reminded me so much of his dad, not to mentioned he looked so much like him.
And it was an honor to play with a second generation of Deacon.
The sad news of Deacy's passing came to Jack and I from Laura on a cold November day in 2035. Out of the two of us, Jack was the most heartbroken because he not only lost a brother but his idol and mentor.
We were invited to the burial by decree of the Deacy clan but I made sure that through some makeup and wigs that Jack and I weren't recognized by press because we wanted this to be private. As Deacy would've wanted that.
"Ohh I've missed you so much (y/n)."
"Not as much as I missed you brother mine."
It was then my attention turned towards the last 2 members of Queen, the remaining members I kept working with till the end. Brian May and Roger Taylor.
Together in our lives after Freddie's death and Deacy's retirement, I had been there for everything Queen got to accomplish, and they did the same for me. In fact it was Brian who bestowed upon me my plaque to be initiated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before I was given my star right above Queen's.
I was also involved with some of the work they did for a little movie called "Bohemian Rhapsody", and they helped become a part of my movie "Set it all free Angel". I first turned my attention to Brian.
It had been almost 10 years since my movie came out and 20 for Queen's film Bohemian Rhapsody. I was in my home studio working on my next upcoming album when I had received a call from Anita telling me that Brian had passed away at the age of 93. It was a peaceful passing so he wasn't suffering or in pain which I was thankful for in a way, he's suffered through so much that if I wanted him to go out, it would have to be peacefully in his sleep.
The world was devastated at losing such an inspiring man. Not only in the music industry, but for his work in astrophysics, as well as the animal programs that he's helped funded and laws he helped raise awareness for.
When he died, I took over the business in his name and within 3 years; I finally helped get laws of abusing, harming or killing animals to be illegal and anyone caught doing that wouldn't get misdemeanors. They would face legal full sentencing of 20-50years in Federal prison. On the night the laws passed and I along with Brian's partnering animal rehab centers signed off on the law, I went to Brian's grave and told him everything.
I immediately glomped him into a hug and held onto his waist tightly. He embraced me back just as tight as I was holding him, me humming lovingly as I buried my face into his chest feeling him stroke down my hair. After what felt like forever, he separated from me and stared down at me with those loving hazel blue eyes of his as he placed both his hands at the top of my head before stroking them downward against each side of my head and ending by cupping my face in his hands.
"I am so proud of everything you've done (Y/n). I saw it all, thank you for continuing my legacy for animal rights."
"You taught me everything I needed to know about being kind and caring towards all creatures, so much so you helped inspire me to do my own animal rehabilitations and rescues. I just—wish I could've been there for you when you......"
"It was beyond your control love. But I didn't suffer. I knew you loved me, and would've done anything to come see me had you known. I never blamed you, so stop blaming yourself." I nodded as tears slipped down my face but with his thumbs he wiped them away before hugging me once more. I felt him kiss my temple before cupping the side of my face once more to kiss my nose.
Even as I got older and we were both in our senior years, he never once stopped with the nose pecks. I smiled and Eskimo kissed him before he pressed his forehead against mine. It was then I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned to my right to see Roger standing before me.
Besides Freddie's death, I think the most devastating thing for me was when Roger died. It was about a year after Brian's death when I had gotten a frantic call from my godson Rufus that Roger had been taken to the hospital because of a stroke. Without hesitating, I got into the car and raced to West London Medical Hospital, where I met up with the Taylor pride.
I was frantic with anxiety and fear that I would lose yet a 3rd member of Queen. Over 48hrs passed when Rog finally regained consciousness and I was sitting right there by his bedside holding his hand. He spoke so softly it was like whispers on the wind and the only thing he wanted to do was go outside.
Reluctantly the doctors allowed it so my godchildren, and his wife Sarina took him out to the hospital garden and allowed me some one on one time with him. But I didn't know that that would be the last time they would ever get to talk to him. The last words he ever spoke to me were and I still remember it to this day, even up here in heaven.
"Brian and Freddie have come to collect me, they send out their love to you and Deacy. Look after the old bastard for us." And I literally felt his life slip away from my hand as he died right there in front of me.
For months I was depressed. I was allowed to go to the funeral and speak my eulogy and I sang at his funeral, this time my own rendition of Phil Collins' song 'You'll be in my heart.' It was also because of his funeral that Deacy and I got even closer than we had in years.
He had secretly gone to both Brian and Roger's funeral but it didn't take till Rog passed for him to physically approach me and we both just wept and cried from losing a father, a brother, a great friend together.
Finally when I finally gained the strength, me and the Taylor children all took a picnic up where Roger was born and just looked out beyond the fields of where his childhood home was and reminisced on all the wonderful memories we had of our father.
And it was from his death I produced my album 'Papa Lion' and dedicated it to him; 'To my Papa Lion, and all the other father lions out there. Keep protecting your children no matter what'.
"You gonna get into these arms or what love?" he asked me. I spoke not a word but felt tears in my eyes as I raced up and buried myself into his neck and dirty blonde almost brunette hair. He held me and spun me around, kissing all over my face humming and moaning lovingly.
When he finally set me down, he cupped my face just like Brian did but he gently leaned forward and very gingerly headbutted my forehead and the two of us nuzzled each other, rubbing our noses together.
Like a father lion and his cub reuniting with each other at last.
I held onto his wrists which still cupped the sides of my face and just allowed my tears to fall out but I couldn't stop smiling.
"I hope those are happy tears." He said to me. I sniffled and nodded.
"Yeah the—these are....ha-happy tears." I choked out.
"You know you don't have to be so strong around me, right lovie?" It was then I just broke down and wept as I embraced him. "Shhh, shh. I'm here my lion cub, I'm here. Papa lion is here." He whispered in my ear.
"God I have waited so long for you to say that." I whimpered out to hear him softly laugh and just hug me tighter.
"Oh my darlings.....my heart.....it's too full!" We heard Fred exclaim out dramatically. We both laughed as I nuzzled deeper into my papa lion's chest, happy to finally be reunited with them.
After finally calming down, we were all just sitting around the master bedroom. I was up against the couch leaning against Deacy's legs as he was currently brushing and braiding my hair.
"So you guys continuing to rock it out here in Heaven?" I asked.
"Don't you know it darling. Every good singer who has helped made a difference comes up here and we continue to live a peaceful eternity doing what we were born to do. Be performers." Freddie stated.
"In fact we just had our concert the other night. We got to perform alongside the Beatles." Said Roger.
"Shut up! The Beatles?!"
"You know it love, Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr." Said Brian.
"Wow, I wish I could've seen it." I said.
"You will darling, we perform our concerts every single night. And it's always a mix mash of artists and bands collaborating together to perform the Greatest Heavenly Rock 'n Roll concert." Said Fred.
"Now that you're here poppet, you'll get the chance to perform with the best of the best." Said Deacy. I was flabbergasted.
"Holy......" I couldn't even finish it because I was just so shocked to think that I would be performing with the greatest artists long before my time and bands I wish I had the chance to record or perform alongside with. The guys all chuckled at me and I said.
"So that's why David and Elton were here."
"Mm-hmm. We're all performing together in tonight's show. Three artists of the 70's decade for the first time ever sharing the stage together." Said Brian.
"Ohh man what people would've killed to see that in person. I mean yeah you guys performed at the same venue like we did with Live Aid or did some recordings together but never all three of you guys on stage at once." I said.
"That's how it works around here." Spoke Deacy as he finished the last strand of my braid. I thanked him and observed the braid he had done and I commented.
"You've gotten better Deacy."
"Laura was good practice. My baby girl always wanted her hair braided."
"She may have gotten that from me, sorry." He playfully scowled at me but I cheekily stuck my tongue out at him. "Say Fred, where's Jim at? I figured if you were here, he would be too."
"Oh that man of mine, he's out tending the garden, come have a look." He escorted me to the back window and there I saw a field of flowers as far as the eye could see.
"Whoa. He's done all of that?"
"Been doing it since 2010 darling. Always a hard worker my husband. When he first came, I was worried he wouldn't like this appearance of mine, after all I didn't have my tache and my hair was much shorter than when I first met him."
"Jim loves you Freddie. He loves you no matter what you'd look like."
"And I did know. Turns out he's got a long hair kink." He whispered to me which made me choke out a laugh.
"Seriously?" He nodded ecstatically and that's when Deacy spoke up.
"We're still here Fred, no need to hear any of that."
"Oh god Deacy don't act so innocent. After all you were the one who wrote a song about pre-ejaculation." Deacy's mouth just gaped before turning stoic, and of course Rog and Bri were laughing their asses off. He turned to me and I shrugged saying.
"He's got a point."
"Okay yeah ha-ha fuck all of you."
"Oh come off it John. We mean no harm by it." Roger teased
"At least it's better than a car fucking song." Deacy fired back.
"That's not funny!" Roger proclaimed.
"It is kinda funny." Deacy sassed back.
"Okay, okay enough both of you. I had enough of your arguments to last an entire lifetime. I don't need to relive it now when I just got here." I stated.
"Sorry love." They both choired out.
"Oh (y/n), I do have a surprise for you though." Brian spoke up. I looked at him and said,
"What kind of surprise?"
"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" He said as he walked right up to me.
"If you tell me, I'll still act surprise." He chuckled and wrapped an arm around me.
"C'mon love, let's head outside." We soon went down the stairs and headed out of the house.
Brian lead me to an open field about a half mile away from the house. There was nothing but green for miles ahead.
"Brian what's this about?"
"You'll see." He then took his index finger and thumb and curled them inward like pinchers before placing them against his lips letting out a loud whistle. We stood there for a moment that was until I heard a bark. A very familiar bark. No it—it couldn't be.
Soon jogging up the hill about a mile away was a German Shepherd. His familiar traditional fur coat shined under the sun as he looked right at me. He let out a couple of barks and soon several more dogs came running up beside him.
They consisted of a golden retriever, 2 pit-bulls, 3 huskies (1 traditional black and white, another grey and white and the last one an auburn coloring), a collie, and 4 Labradors (2 blacks, a tan and one brown).
With each dog that this pack had, I knew every single one of them. I turned to Brian baffled and he just grinned at me before nodding telling me that they were who I thought they were. I turned back around and the German Shepherd let out a bark. I then let instinct take over and ran as I cried out.
"Bucky!" He soon came running after me, as did all the other dogs barking and panting as they all ran down the hill towards me. "C'mon kids! Come on!" I proclaimed. Each dog was running as fast as they could but Bucky and the black and white husky Shasta were leading the pack. "C'mon kids!" Bucky let out some barks as he raced ahead of Shasta and we met half-way.
Bucky leapt with both paws to my shoulders knocking me down onto the ground.
"Ohh Buck. I can't believe it's you! Ohh look at you boy! Good boy Buck!" A second later Shasta came up to me whimpering happily as his tail wagged. "Oh Shasta baby boy look at you! Hi~ Hi baby boy~." Soon enough my entire dog pack was all up on me grunting and whimpering happily as they all began to tackle me, wanting my attention and love.
Now while you all know I've had Bucky and Sammy as the family pets for Jack and the kids. The other dogs have a different story. The two pitbull brothers that I had named Titan and Bear were rescue dogs when I was a part of an actual rescue mission with one of my animal charities in saving dogs from a Mexican dogfight.
Whenever I was free from touring and recording, I made sure they were well taken care of and even let them stay at my home for awhile before they were finally adopted by a good family.
My triple threat huskies Shasta, Maya (the grey and white) and Eevee (auburn) were actually Kelly's dogs. Shortly after she left for college, she wanted to fill her house with dogs so she adopted these three and very often when she would visit or we would visit her, these troublemakers were always there. Sweet and loveable but stubborn little buggers but I wouldn't take them either way.
The Labradors were also rescue dogs that I helped out. The black one Raider and white one Rowdy were just left abandoned tied up in the backyard of their owners homes. The owners had abandoned them and left them for dead in the hottest summer of the year. But thanks to my team we got them out, sheltered and good homes but I occasionally checked in on them since I couldn't let them go.
The brown lab Cleopatra and the other black lab Midnight were once stray dogs till my son Freddie found them and gave them some food and water. Since he didn't have the heart to turn them to the shelter he adopted them. They even started their own little family since Midnight and Cleopatra were mates together and had many puppies together.
And finally the beautiful Collie was Jezebel. Jezebel was something special because she was actually my nana's dog. I hadn't seen her since I was probably five years old, she was already an old girl growing up but from what I remember, she was so maternal with me.
Whenever my nana was busy with something, she knew she could trust Jezebel with me.
After giving every single dog my attention I finally managed to stand up and see all the dogs in my life standing in a row.
"Jezzy, Bucky, Sammy, Titan, Bear, Shasta, Maya, Eevee, Cleo, Midnight, Rowdy and Raider. I don't believe it. Good doggies. My lucky dog pack. I can't believe you're all here. How did you find them all?"
"I was out strolling wanting to observe the stars when I found Bucky and Sammy. They immediately recognized me and just came running right for me. Soon enough they brought me to meet the rest of the dogs you've known and rescued. I was surprised about the collie but I knew she wouldn't be among them if she wasn't a part of your family."
"Yeah, Jezebel was my nana's dog. I called her Jezzy cause I couldn't quite pronounce her name. She was like my guardian dog angel. Always maternal until she passed away of cancer when I was just 5 years old." I walked up to her and pet her head and she leaned up against me. "She even saved me from almost being attacked by a stray dog one summer."
"Well I'm very glad she did." Brian said as he walked up and stroked her head and she gave his hand a friendly sniff and lick.
"And you took care of all of them?"
"Well I'm an animal activist through and through. If Freddie takes care of every cat that comes to Heaven, I thought I should take care of the animals I've grown fond of, but also the animals my little protegee has taken on herself. As well as the family dogs." I smiled and Brian and thanked him with a hug and he gratefully hugged me back.
As the day drew to a close and nightfall came, the boys had escorted me over to the Heavenly Concert hall. If we want to look at it scale wise, imagine it as Wembley Stadium during the time of Live Aid back in 1985. We drove in a royal golden carriage fit only for her royal majesties themselves.
"Wow, it's just like Wembley stadium."
"It is in a way, but it can fit an infinite amount of people. Any and all are welcome to watch us perform." Said Deacy.
"And we won't need to do soundchecks or anything?"
"Nope. This is heaven darling. Up here everything works to the full capacity and capability. No have to worry ever again about sound checks or power outages." Freddie stated. Our carriage soon stopped at the back entrance and the doors magically opened.
I stepped out first followed by Deacy, Roger, Brian and Freddie. Deacy wrapped his arm around me and guided me into the building and the five of us followed the sign down to the basement level where the dressing rooms were.
And it was like they said, I saw dozens of stars with the names of so many artists and bands before and during my time. Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, the Beatles, David, Elton, Led Zeppelin, REO Speedwagon, George Michael, Phil Collins, Bob Dylan, and everyone and anyone you could think of.
"And here we are darling, your dressing room awaits." Roger said as he stood before a red door with a golden star with wings on each side that read in bold black letters my stage name ROCK ANGEL. He opened it up and I was in awe.
Inside was a very large room filled with furniture, a huge makeup station with large mirror decored with lamplights around the perimeter of it.
On the left side of the dressing room were hundreds of different outfit's I've worn throughout the years. Everything was there on hangers along with some of the hats I wore, fedora's, cowgirl, and my famed flat caps of various different colors and styles.
While on the right; I could see just music instruments like the Red Special Brian had made for me up against a special holder up along the wall right by my makeup stand.
"Is this my....."
"Go on and have a look darling." I heard Freddie say in my ear.
"Okay. I finally have my own mall." I walked in and was just in awe at everything. It looked like heaven had taken my master bedroom from my first home I had after becoming the Rock Angel and just put it all here.
I walked inside and said.
"Ooo, very nice shoes." I pointed out on the shoe wrack seeing some of the styles of shoes I've worn. From combat boots, to Adidas', flats, and even the high-heeled boots that Deacy always wore during the 1970's.
"We're glad you like them darling. Why don't you go around that corner and press the black button along the dresser." Deacy said. I walked further in and reached a dresser and found the black button. When I pressed it, a couple of shelves slowly opened up revealing almost every pair of sunglasses I've always worn.
"Oh my god! I've missed wearing these." I picked up a pair of my ray ban black and gold framed sunglasses. "Didn't I make these look good?" I quickly turned to see the guys were gone. "Guys?"
"Over here love." I heard Brian's voice say. I walked towards the right to see my boys standing or sitting along some of the foot stools.
"Oh there you all are. Ohh nice amps." I couldn't help but see the amps up along the wall. "I—I'm just...." Before I could continue a remote was tossed over at me by Roger as he said.
"Before you even say anything else. Type in combination 2-1-2." I muttered the combination to myself as I pressed the numbers and soon the closet before us opened and soon revolving around were various guitars and bass guitars, shelves soon opened revealing several pairs of drumsticks each imprinted with my name on them.
I had no words.
"Umm....this is.....I can't—" I jumped back a bit as the top shelves suddenly opened revealing two different microphones. One was a basic black but it was bedazzled with red gems while the other one was pure gold with golden gems.
"Elton and I had a little hand of having your microphones designed." Said Freddie with a modest shrug.
"I mean....guys this is......unbelievable. And this is all mine?"
"Oh darling you should see ours. It's practically the entire mansion back home."
"Each star that comes here is given the full custom of what they've enjoy back on Earth. And since you've favored how you once had your rotating dressers back in 2011, it's all here for you but advanced into your instruments as well." Said Roger.
"And if anyone has any suggestion like if they're close to another artist, they can submit some suggestions of what should be in said artists dressing room." Brian spoke up.
"Aww you guys, I love you." I said as I came up to them and we got into a group hugged.
"We love you too (Y/n) darling. Now hurry up and get ready, the concert is about to begin." The boys left me to my own business. I walked up to my clothes rack and went through every style and decided that if I was to do my first concert in Heaven, I might as well wear exactly what I wore for my first concert as the Rock Angel.
After getting ready and doing my makeup the same way Freddie had done for me that day in Madison Square Garden, I picked up my Red Special and put it around my neck and left my dressing room.
"The Rock Angel is back." I looked up to see the boys standing across me in front of their dressing room, dressed to the T like they had at the they did at the Odeon theater Christmas Eve 1975. I smiled and said.
"Well look at you guys, it seems like only yesterday I was sneaking my friends into the house while Joanna and Graham were at their Christmas party just to watch you guys live at the Hammersmith Oden theater." I sassed.
"Thank you love, now c'mon time to head to the stage." Roger said. The lads cheered and I followed behind as we all walked back up the stairs and went through the corridors of backstage. Hundreds upon hundreds of artists were getting themselves ready to go up and perform.
I watched as the boys did their typical body warmups to get themselves pumped up when I felt a nudge at my arm.
"You seem quiet poppet, everything okay?" I looked up to see Deacy standing beside me.
"You said anybody whose anybody comes to see these shows right?" He nodded and I said solemnly, "Do....do you think my family, like my mum and dad know that I'm here now? That I'm here performing?" I felt him wrap his arm around my shoulder and he said.
"It's possible. Anytime a new artist or band comes here, it's fully announced far and wide throughout Heaven. So there's a good chance they might be out there in the audience."
"I hope so. I just want to show them what I've achieved, I want them to be proud of me."
"They are poppet. Just like we are." He embraced me in a one armed hug leaning his head against mine.
"I really have missed these moments between us Deacy."
"So have I. And I've got a hell of a lot of comforting to catch up on."
"Well now's a good start."
"Oi you two! Are we going to perform or not?" The two of us smiled as we heard Roger's voice cry out to us. My brother looked down at me and he said.
"C'mon, let's go do our thing." I nodded and we headed towards the guys.
*3rd Person POV*
Once again it was concert time. Every soul that had passed into heaven that was a fan of Rock and Roll or music in general came from far and wide to come to the concert of concerts, even bigger than the Earthly event that Live Aid gave the world.
Generations of artists and musicians that had come from around the world from many different backgrounds came to this very stadium to give the performance of their afterlives. Thousands, almost a million people poured into the stadium as the lights were flashing and doing their test run for each artist that would perform that night.
Soon Bob Geldof came onto the stage and everyone applauded for him.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome once again to the Heaven's Rock and Roll concert." Everyone applauded and cheered holding up signs of their favorite artists or bands that would be performing tonight. "It gives me great honor to announce that we recently were given a new arrival, but I won't give it away on who it is." The audience crowd because they wanted to hear who it was as Bob continued, "I'll leave that to the band who know her best. So without further ado I would like to bring up on stage the first band performance of this evening's festivities. These lads I knew personally and they helped make one of the biggest rock concerts even greater than I could ever imagine. These four individually talented young men rose to the stardom in the early 1970's before exploding into the worldwide phenomenon by the 1980's. Ladies and Gentlemen please bow before her royal majesties that is Queen!"
The crowd roared with applause as Bob left the stage and the stage grew dark. Soon the opening notes for "Now I'm here" began playing and everyone cheered louder as they began clapping in rhythm. Those who have seen and grew up seeing Queen live, knew exactly how to react and behave during a Queen concert and those who got to know Queen up here in heaven got a taste of what it would've been like had they seen them in person with all four of them up on stage.
Soon Freddie's silhouette and voice echoed through the speakers as he began to sing the song. When the song began to pick up, the lights on stage exploded as did fire from the sides of the stage as all four members of Queen were finally revealed to the crowd.
Freddie lead with the vocals and his mates and brothers backed him up on not only the vocals but their instruments, and ever the frontman he was, strutted the stage like it was his as his voice overpowered and reached out into the audience with a force unlike anything.
By the end of the song, Freddie proclaimed into the microphone.
"Thank you! Thank you, good evening everybody!" The crowd cheered as Freddie continued, "Oh it looks magnificent out there tonight. Okay my darlings, right now. Right now, we're going to take you for the first time ever we're taking you all to the battlefield. This is called Ogre Battle!"
The boys continued to play a few more songs like 'White Queen', 'Killer Queen', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Don't stop me now' and 'Son and Daughter' included with Brian's famous guitar solo giving Deacy and Freddie enough time to change clothes for the next half of the performance. Freddie now wearing the famed black satin outfit with his chest exposed and diamond fingernailed glove as well as the chain glove on the other.
"Yes thank you, thank you very much. Featuring Brian May on guitar!" Brian took a bow as the spotlight shined on him and the crowd cheered. "Now then my darlings, as I'm sure everyone's heard we have a new arrival. A very special girl to all four of us. How would you all like to meet her?"
The crowd roared with applause and soon Roger began doing one single rhythmic beat. Hearing the beat made the entire audience clap in that single beat rhythm.
"She first rose to the spotlight in the summer of 1981. A bright, charismatic young woman whose music has touched the lives of millions. To us she wasn't a shadow of our fame, she was an equal partnership. The like of which we had never knew we could ever ask for. Ladies and gentlemen and everyone up in the balcony give it up for Heaven's very own Rock Angel, Mrs. (Y/n) Kline!"
From up on the catwalk above the stage, the silhouette of the Rock Angel herself came up and it appeared that she actually had angel wings sprouting from her back as she began the first verse of her famed song "Set it all Free".
By the chorus, the screen lifted up and she hopped off the catwalk and gratefully fell from the 10ft catwalk onto center stage playing her Red Special as her boys backed her up as they always did whenever they performed this song together.
And seeing the two artists perform together, Queen and the Rock Angel, the crowd was in pure excitement bouncing up and down and crying out the lyrics to the well known song that the Rock Angel's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
But none were more happy to perform once again than the artists that were on stage. It had been forever since it was the five of them together up on stage and they couldn't help but look at each other. As the guitar solo came up, it turned into a guitar battle between the Rock Angel herself and Brian May which got the crowd really pumped up.
By the end of the song, everyone was chanting out 'Angel! Angel! Angel!'
"Hello Rock and roll heaven how's everyone doing tonight!?" The crowd welcomed her with a roar of applause. "God I can't believe I'm here performing with my boys once again. And right now we'd like to bring out a special guest for this next number." She turned to Deacy who nodded and began playing his bassline for "Under Pressure" which got the crowd applauding louder.
"This man is a well-known legend and the birth of a true 'flamboyant' hard rocker. And a very close friend of mine." Freddie started.
"Six time Grammy award winner, 4 time Brit award winner, actor, musician. Everyone put your hands together for Mr. David Bowie!" (Y/n) proclaimed into the mic.
It was then Freddie and (Y/n) began singing the first part of the song as at the center stage a circular hole began to open and soon rising up onto the stage was David Bowie himself. He wore a royal blue suit with a black undercoat suit shirt as well as the business white shirt. A light blue tie and black shoes.
He soon began his line of the first bridge as Freddie and the Rock Angel backed him up. When the second part of the song came up after Freddie's little vocalization, David gave the gesture for (Y/n) to take the second part of the song. And as she always performed it, she would lowly sing in her alto range before suddenly belting out to the perfect volume as she would hold the note out for as long as she could letting the two legends back her up.
Just like the record Freddie and Roger softly sung the first part of the break, then David came in before (Y/n) belted out the why vocals before the song picked right back up. It was something that could only be seen in Heaven. Three legendary singers performing one song.
David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and (Y/n) Kline the Rock Angel.
The three lead singers stood side by side with each other with David on the left, Freddie in the middle and (y/n) to the right. The three in almost rehearsed synchronicity began to sidestepped across the stage as all three voices blended the bridge that it could give one an eargasm.
Agreeing with each other and knowing what she could do to close the song, both David and Freddie stepped back with (y/n) completely unaware as she just allowed the song to consume her.
At the final note, she let out a proud controlled belt that was first heard at Freddie's tribute concert and it almost seemed like the sun was rising as the stage was lit up in a heavenly glow as she held the note. The entire audience was in an uproar as they gave a standing ovation to the Rock Angel herself.
She turned around and saw the five older men smiling at her and applauding her for a phenomenal performance that they have missed so dearly.
The concert continued as Elton John soon came up on stage and together he, Freddie and (y/n) sang 'I'm still standing' a song that was personal to all three of them in some shape or form but they knew this was the perfect song for them all to sing.
After a few more Queen songs, with the allowance of their beloved Rock Angel since her set was about to come up after theirs, she allowed them to stay and be her band as she would perform her hit songs before the souls of Heaven.
Songs like 'Who I am', 'So good,' 'Bridge of light', 'Rock angel', her rendition of 'Somebody to love', 'We'll be together', and with her boys already up there with her they did a few more duets of Queen songs like 'Friends will be friends', 'Spread your wings', 'Fat Bottomed girls', and 'Jailhouse Rock'.
Finally their time was up and as 'God save the Queen' played through the speakers, all five of them stood side by side each other and bid the crowd a goodbye and thank you.
After watching several performances from backstage, and when the concert finally came to a close it was time for the after party. So just outside in the back a beautiful garden was set up with refreshments and plenty of drinks to fit everyone's needs and all the performers of the night came out to talk amongst one another and to celebrate another well-performed concert.
As well as to welcome their newest achievement.
*My POV*
Oh my god. That was a thrill rush, and now being here at the after party I saw literally everyone. Elvis, Janis, the Beatles, Little Richard, Elton, David, Hendrix, everyone in rock and roll big names were gathered around this beautiful garden.
As I went to go grab some water I felt a hand tap my shoulder and there stood John Lennon himself.
"So you are the famous Rock Angel?" I swallowed my water and was completely star-struck.
"Y-yeah I.....Mr. Lennon I....."
"Please call me John."
"Okay, John. Can I just say.....just between us that you were always my favorite Beatle out of the group."
"Coming from you that's a huge honor. And now I can finally rub it into Paul's face the bugger." I laughed and that's when I heard a female voice say.
"Alright let me at her, where is she?" And there donned with her famous fur coat, tall Russian-like hat and red circular shades was Janis Joplin herself. "And there she is. The one female rocker better than me." She spoke as she came up to me.
"Oh no Mrs. Jop—"
"Ah-ah. Mrs. Joplin is not my name. Call me Janis baby girl." I blushed and she wrapped an arm around me and said, "You know, you and I aren't so different kid."
"How so?"
"Well we both struggled in our families and personal lives, got together with some male rockstars to form a partnership before splitting off to have our freedom. The only difference is, is that I wish I had your strength. I decided to call it quits with heroin being my way to kick the bucket."
"You were someone I did look up to. I mean yeah you had your struggles, but hell you didn't take shit from no one. When conservative minds at the time wanted you to do it their way, you said....."
"'Fuck you. I'm doing it my own way!'" She finished off which made the two of us laugh. "Yah know something baby girl, I like you. Promise me for Lady's night you'll do a song with me?"
"It would be an honor Janis." She smiled and hugged me tightly.
"Alright my darlings, may we have everyone's attention?" Freddie's voice soon spoke up as he was now standing on top of a table. Everyone looked up and as the boys of Queen stood up front Freddie continued, "First of all magnificent show all of you. So cheers my lovely darlings." Everyone of us raised our glasses in the air saying 'cheers'.
"We'd also love to specifically say a wonderful show for our newest arrival," Brian spoke up. He turned to me and extended his hand out for mine. I took it and he gently pulled me up front so that everyone could see me.
"Our beloved Rock Angel herself, (Y/n) Kline." Roger spoke up as he smiled warmly down at me.
"To the Rock Angel!" Deacy stated as he raised his cocktail glass in the air.
"To the Rock Angel!" Everyone choired at me. I bashfully smiled and said.
"Thank you, it was an honor to see most of you perform tonight, and it was great to perform with someone of you once again after so many years. I hope I have the privilege to perform with every single soul here." I said.
We then raised our glasses once more and the mingling and partying continued long into the night.

“i can’t believe i let you go.”
Tumblr media
Jonah doesn’t know for sure how long he has been staring at the framed photograph that has been hanging on the living room wall for as long as he can remember. It was taken during one of the few 4th of July celebrations that you both had celebrated together. In the picture, your smile was brighter than ever, even brighter than the fireworks that were bursting through the dark night behind you, fiery blooms amongst the stars. He had an arm around your shoulders, his green orbs looking at you lovingly as you took the selfie.
Both of you seemed so happy back then—something you both hadn’t felt in a long time, even before your dramatic fallout. You were going strong, weren’t you? Both of you used to be the poster children of the perfect couple — you had each other backs and lifted each other up when the going got tough, which led you to believe that nothing could ever come between the two of you.
But life did. When his career started to blow up, your relationship with him did too.
Every time he closes his eyes; the vivid memory of the horrible night months ago starts to play before him like a movie.
#
“Jonah Marais Roth Frantzich, have you been drinking again?” You tore your eyes away from the TV and directed it towards him instead when you heard the sound of the door opening then closing, followed by the rattling of keys as he threw it into the small box beside the door. The stench of alcohol filled your apartment almost immediately, indicating that he had a heavy intake of whatever alcoholic drink he consumed at the party.
He didn’t answer, or even bat an eye at you as he made his way into the kitchen to get a glass of water. Your lips pressed into a thin line as your blood boiled upon being ignored by him. You glanced at the clock. It was nearly 3am. This was the latest he had ever been home after attending a party, which was something he had been doing almost every day lately.
You hated his new habit of getting absolutely wrecked after every party, and he knew that too. He also knew that you hated him getting too friendly with the alluring LA models that were up to no good, as much as you hated him spending most of his time on his job, resulting with him neglecting you far too often for your liking, until you guys were basically nothing more than strangers living under the same roof.
He knew many things, but he never cared, because those were the requirements of his job — to constantly socialize and make music — so he thought that you’ll understand but from the look of the annoyed scowl on your face, that didn’t seem to be the case tonight.
“Jonah, answer me,” you ordered sternly from where you sat on the couch in the living room.
He didn’t know whether if it’s the fault of the alcohol that was coursing through his veins or the fact that both of you hadn’t really talked in days (maybe months) had started to drive him over the edge, but he found your displeasure oddly infuriating, although he knew you were merely looking out for him.
You are his girlfriend, not his fucking mother.
“Yes, not that it’s any of your business,” he seethed and you seemed taken aback by his reply. At least that’ll shut you up for now.
He placed the cup into the sink with a greater force than he intended before leaving the kitchen to head towards the master bedroom, trying his best to ignore your accusing glare that was still boring into his back and hold back the rest of the harsh words that was threatening to spill out of his mouth.
He knew he was drunk and he didn’t want to say anything that he would regret later in the morning so staying silent was currently the best option. Everything would return to normal the next day once you forgot about this, like you always had for the past few weeks. The tension would be gone and you both would return to playing the role of a lovey-dovey couple that, unbeknownst to others, barely talked in what felt like forever.
But you had other plans. You weren’t letting this matter go this easily. This had been going on for too long. You had enough of his immature behaviour that was gradually driving a wedge between the two of you. You wanted -- no, needed -- this to stop right now, for his own good and yours.
You wanted the old Jonah back -- the Jonah who’d walk to the ends of the world for you, who’d join you in bed at night to ask about your day and who’d put you as his first priority. You walked briskly towards him and captured his wrist in your hand.
“I’m your girlfriend, Jonah, and I have the right to hold you accountable for your dumb actions,” you purposely emphasized on the three words that you knew would get on his nerves. You wanted him to talk, to explain why he was suddenly so obsessed with getting drunk. Was he stressed? Was something bothering him?
Once again, you received no answer from him.
“Drinking is bad for your health, Jonah,” you softened your tone, just by a little. “And you barely get enough sleep recently, it’s--”
“Just shut up for once, can you?” He jerked your hand away. “Always ‘Jonah don’t do this’, ‘Jonah don’t do that’ like I am some kind of dumb baby that needs help. Just so you know, I’m a grown man who is perfectly capable of making my own decisions, mind you.”
This was the first time Jonah had ever raised his voice at you. You tried not to let his words get to you, you tried to convince yourself that it was the alcohol talking for him but tears ended up welling up in your eyes anyways. You held them back as you continued to speak.
“I was just trying to advise—”
“I said shut the fuck up! Even if I do need help, I won’t be asking it from the likes of you!” Before you could react, the glass vase that was once placed beside the TV went flying against the wall behind you, shattering into a million pieces.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Jonah?” You cried out, your hands fisting the front material of his shirt. “What the heck was that for?”
“Get off me, you psycho!” he pried your hands off him and pushed you away forcefully, making you stumble backwards and fall to the ground due to your loss of footing.
Tears were streaming down your cheeks uncontrollably now. “You’ve changed. The old Jonah will never do this to me,” you stood up, wiping off your tears with the back of your hand.
“Maybe it’s because you don’t know me well enough.”
“You know what?” You were jabbing your finger on his chest. “If this is the real you, maybe I shouldn’t have dated you in the first place,” you shouted at him.
“Fine, don’t date me then! Maybe I finally can live a lot more freely without your constant nagging!”
Your breathing stopped for a moment and you swore his did too. Silence ensued, the only sound being the tv that you forgot to turn off before the fight.
Shit. He said too much.
When you finally came back to your senses, you pushed pass him to make your way into the bedroom, pulling out your luggage and set it open on the bed.
“You should’ve told me earlier that you didn’t want me in your life,” you said breathlessly as you proceeded to dump all your clothes into your luggage before slamming it shut, ignoring his pleas for you to stop.
“No, baby, I don’t mean what I said,” he grabbed your arm and you flinched at his touch. That was how he knew he messed up. Badly. “Let’s just forget—”
“I’m so done with always sweeping our problems under the carpet and pretend like they don’t exist, Jonah!” You yelled frustratedly. “Let me ask you, when was the last time we had a heart-to-heart talk, Jonah? When was the last time we had a peaceful meal together without arguing? When was the last time we actually spent quality time together?”
He couldn’t answer any of your questions.
“Can’t you see it? We haven’t been a couple for quite a while now,” you explained, pulling your closed luggage out of the room towards the front door, not forgetting to pick up your purse along the way. “What happened just now was just one more sign that we,” you gestured between the both of you, “are not meant for each other so maybe it’s for the best if we break up.”
“No, please, no,” he fell to his knees before you, his hands moving to grasp your arm. “Don’t go. I’m sorry. Please.”
“I’m not wasting any second more of my life with you,” you spat mercilessly in his face. “Now let go.”
“No, please, stay with me, baby,” he continued to beg, the grip on your hand unfaltering.
“I’m sorry,” you said and felt his grip loosen at the two simple words. He knew there was no point in holding on once you already made up your mind. “Goodbye, Jonah.”
You yanked your arm away and walked out the door, not looking back, leaving a distressed male behind, in tears.
Yes, Jonah remembers everything from that night, especially the slam of the door behind you as you walked out of his apartment and his life, forever.
And he is the one to blame.
#
Fast forward to the present, he misses you so much that he is starting to lose his mind.
He thinks about you so often that sometimes he forgets that you aren’t his anymore. He still finds himself reaching out to what used to be your side of the bed the first thing in the morning, only to find it cold and empty; he still looks forward to coming home from work every day to run into your arms that used to be his safe haven, only to be reminded by his quiet house that your laughter, your kisses, your touches are luxuries that he can no longer afford, no matter how wealthy he is.
You gave him a chance—scratch that, you have kind-heartedly given him countless chances in the past for him to make up for his mistakes, to prove to you that loving him was worth all the suffering, but all he did was disappoint you over and over again by choosing to walk away from you when his career was at stake.
It wasn’t until you were gone that he noticed all those valuable chances that have unknowingly passed him by.
He runs a hand through his hair and heaves a sigh, throwing his head back so that he is mindlessly staring at the ceiling.
He was cowardly fool, for putting his needs above the person who he swore to love till the end of time, for giving up when he should’ve fought a little harder to preserve what’s left of their love, for doing nothing as the distance between them grew by leaps and bounds until you eventually slipped out of his grasp into nothingness.
Most importantly, he was the world’s biggest idiot to ever think that he can live without you.
He knows that he should stop missing you; he knows that he should forget the past, or at least lock all the fond memories he had built with you into a box and shove it into the darkest, deepest corners of his mind, not to be opened ever again; he knows that he should move on, like you already did.
But “I know” and “I can” are two completely different things. Yes, he is terribly exhausted from holding onto the past, holding onto you, even as he feels the remaining shred of hope that you might one day return to him slowly diminish as days passed but at the same time, he is still too in love to let you go.
Therefore, for what seems like the thousandth time that month, he pulls out his phone from his pocket, and dials your number that is still marked as favourites in his contact list. As expected, the call goes to voicemail right away, after your recorded voice says, “Sorry, I can’t come to the phone at the moment but feel free to leave a message instead!” in a cheerful tone, as if you are mocking him for not being able to talk with you like he used to anymore.
After the beep, Jonah hesitates a moment before opening his mouth to speak, but no words escape. He has no idea where to start. He knows a simple ‘sorry’ isn’t going to fix everything, for the pain you had endured because of him is definitely not worth to be forgiven with a simple two-syllable-word. He contemplates if he should end the call, like what he has done for the past thousand times.
No, he has spent too much time dwelling in his misery without making any effort to win you back It’s about time he at least tries to start a proper conversation with you because even if you don’t reciprocate his feelings, you still deserve an apology from him.
“Hi,” he breathed nervously. “How are you? I know I should not be trying to contact you after what I did to you that night but,”
A pause.
“It’s not the same here without you, y/n. I miss your cooking, your terrible singing voice, your hilarious pep talks – hell, I even miss your long boring lectures whenever I forgot to wash the dishes,” he smiles a little at the memory.
“And I’m sorry, I really am, for ruining everything. I know it’s not enough but it’s true. Not a day passes where I don’t regret what I did to you that night and all the mistakes that I’ve made before that.”
“Please baby, give me one more chance to make it right. Just one more, please. Come back, be here with me because,” another pause.
He searches his brain for the right words to say, rubbing his temples with his fingers as his mind whirs.
Because of you, his life used to be filled with endless love and laughter. Your love was like the warm daylight, illuminating his world in golden, chasing away all the darkness. You painted his life with the vibrant colors of the rainbow whereas now that you’re gone, everyday it rains, the previous sunshine you provided long gone. He should’ve never let you go. With a swipe of his tongue over his trembling dry lips, he finishes his sentence before he decides to chicken out.
“Because I still love you. Without you, now everything’s grey.”

Hey Destiny! Planning my first trip to WDW any advice :)
(I do hope you’re planning to go after the pandemic has been dealt with first off-- there are shops, restaurants, and certain experiences/shows that will be unavailable if you go around now-ish, and as far as I know they’re still charging full-price admission. So not only is it dangerous, it’s not worth it.)
But if you try and go next year sometime when life has presumably returned to normal...
If you can, stay on property!
Not a requirement obviously, but WDW has transportation that can get you to and from the parks so you don’t have to deal with the parking lots at the parks themselves. It’s also really nice as an adult to go to EPCOT and drink around the world without having to worry about who’s driving back
It also makes staying for the fireworks much less painful... Like it is excruciating to trudge back to your car after spending all day at the park and having to deal with the insane crowds leaving the park, and traffic in the parking lots...
Staying on property allows you to get Fast Passes and make dining reservations a whole month before other guests can. Which ties into my next point...
GET FASTPASSES AND DINING RESERVATIONS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE
If you want to go to Magic Kingdom and go on the Mine Train, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain with FastPass, you need to have them booked sooner rather than later. Find out when you can book FastPasses and get them the second you can.
If you couldn’t get FastPasses for it, get to the park when it opens and make a beeline to your #1 attraction
I live in Florida and I have an annual pass, so it’s not a big deal if I can’t go on my favorite rides because the lines are too long. But if you’re from out of state and this is going to be your only chance to go to Disney for the year or even YEARS, arriving early is a must
Trying to get on Rise of the Resistance (the fancy new Star Wars ride) in Hollywood Studios?
You need to be inside the park before it opens. Period. That is the only way to ensure you can get on this ride since it is insanely popular. Once inside the park, you need to use the MyDisney app to secure your place in a virtual queue. Everyone in your group needs to be registered on the MyDisney app or you will not be able to make a reservation for them. Once you’ve made the reservation, you’re free to roam the park as you will until it’s your turn to ride
Grossed out by crowded public restrooms? Use one in a sit-down restaurant.
Obviously please don’t bring your whole family into a restaurant to use its restroom. I’m talking like if one or two people in your group have to go. Just walk into the restaurant like you already have a table and go to the restroom in there. Though all of the restrooms at WDW are usually well-maintained, imo they’re even nicer in the sit-down restaurants haha. This tip is a little prissy but eh. Thought I’d include it
Disney snacks you are required by law to try
Magic Kingdom
Cheshire Cat Tail (Really yummy for breakfast while you wait in line for one of your first rides of the day)
Dole Whip Ice Cream (IT’S DAIRY FREE-- my fellow lactose-intolerant people can eat it worry-free!!!)
Sweet and Spicy Chicken and Waffle sandwich (Split with friends if you have lunch or dinner plans-- delicious snack to eat between rides or at a show)
GET A BIRTHDAY CAKE SCONE FROM THE CANDY SHOP/BAKERY!!! THEY ARE MY FAVORITE DISNEY TREATS AND I ALWAYS BRING LIKE 2 OR 3 HOME WITH ME
Animal Kingdom
Cinnamon roll (A classic-- and again, a perfect breakfast treat to share while you queue)
Night Blossom (Or its alcoholic equivalent-- really yummy slushies perfect to sip on in the outdoor queues in Avatar world)
Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse (Need I say more? Yes it’s kind of dangerous if you can’t handle dairy though. Maybe steal a bite from someone’s just to experience life’s fleeting joys)
EPCOT
Adults who booze are obligated imo to get a Grey Goose Lemonade slushie in France. Tangy and sweet. COLD. Delicious.
Tarte aux Fraises (Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything in France... everything I’ve tried there is amazing...)
Giant pretzel (Not exactly a Disney-exclusive thing but... they’re humongous and a great snack to share with a group)
Side note while we’re in Germany-- there’s a little bar tucked into the corner near the back of this area. If you’re drinking around the world, go in there and get Apfel shots. Trust me I have good taste.
If they have them when you’re there... You need to get a meat bun in Japan. They are one of my favorite things to get at Disney Springs or in the parks when they’re available.
Hollywood Studios
(I’m not gonna lie this is not the park to get your snack on. There’s only one snack here I’m super passionate about...)
If you’re there around breakfast time (which you will be if you got there early for Star Wars), the S’mores French Toast in Toy Story Land is DELICIOUS. Just grab napkins. A lot of napkins.
Giant pretzel
This is not a recommendation, this is a warning: THE MILK IN STAR WARS LAND IS GROSS AND I HATED EVERY SECOND A DROP OF IT WAS IN MY MOUTH
Rides you should try to do while you’re in the park
Magic Kingdom
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain (I wear a poncho because I hate having wet clothes,,,,,)
I think Thunder Mountain is kinda lame but I guess it’s worth doing if the line isn’t terribly long
Dwarf Mine Train
Pirates of the Caribbean
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (smacktalk in the queue and try to maintain your dignity when you get 9000 points and all of your friends have nearly broken 1 million)
Haunted Mansion
Mickey’s Phillarmagic
Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest
It’s Tough To Be a Bug (this show will probably terrify your young children if you have any, just a warning)
Flight of Passage (I GUESS... none of the rides in the Avatar section of the park are worth a 2 hour wait if you ask me...)
Dinosaur (again, this ride will probably terrify your young children... I think it’s scarier than Jurassic Park at Universal if you can believe it)
Kilimanjaro Safari (get a Fast Pass for this one-- it’s probably one of the most popular attractions in AK)
Kali River Rapids (in which I once again don a poncho like a 50-year-old man)
Festival of the Lion King (corny as hell but it’s fun)
EPCOT
(If you’re not here to check out the exhibits in each country idk what you’re doing here haha)
Test Track (honestly the only ride I like there)
Spaceship Earth (yes it’s a slow dark ride but it’s really charming and there’s a bit at the end that will probably make you and your group cry laughing)
Gran Fiesta Tour (It’s hidden in the temple in Mexico. Cute little boat ride with Donald and the Three Caballeros)
Soarin’ (My friends and I have an endurance competition to see who can keep their legs held out straight the longest throughout the ride. We got some of the people sitting around us to join in the last time we rode which was pretty hilarious haha)
I’ve heard the Frozen ride is fun, but I’ve never ridden on it myself, so I can’t really comment on it
Note about Mission Space: I got really sick on this ride, and I rode the TAME version. Most of my friends also get sick on this ride. It’s worth trying once if you’re really curious, but I was knocked on my ass for half of my day at EPCOT after riding this one.)
Hollywood Studios
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (A really fun ride but try to keep your head back or you will have a headache all day... Bring ibuprofen.)
Tower of Terror (Probably one of my favorite Disney rides in any park. Will most likely further terrify your small children who may still be traumatized from the bugs and dinosaurs of Animal Kingdom)
Rise of the Resistance (I don’t care about Star Wars but uh. Yeah. This ride was pretty dope.)
Smuggler’s Run (One of the more immersive rides I’ve been on... The ride vehicle is cool as all get-out and there are lots of buttons you can push and levers to pull... Blame one of your friends for being a bad pilot when you only manage to snag two pieces of cargo)
Toy Story Mania (exhaust yourself and make your arms really sore as you desperately try to exert your dominance over your friends as you pop balloons with darts and throw rings around volcanos before they erupt)
MuppetVision (I’m a Muppets ride or die fan and I still think this ride is charming and funny. There’s usually never a line so it’s a perfect break in the air conditioning with beloved characters)
Minnie and Mickey’s Runaway Railway (I haven’t gotten to ride this yet, but I’ve heard good things-- and the Mickey shorts this ride is based on are HILARIOUS, so I expect good things)
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular (DISCLAIMER: Only really fun if someone in your group is selected to be one of the townsfolk. My sister got picked last time and it was hilarious)
Fantasmic! (I like all of the fireworks shows minus the Star Wars one in HS because I really don’t care but. Fantasmic stands out. You have to watch it at least once. Try to catch the first show if you can so you can avoid some of the rush of guests leaving the park at the very end of the night)

Epiphany
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
A/N: This is my submission for @avengerscompound writing challenge. The prompt I chose was Epiphany which is a moment of sudden revelation.
A/N: Thank you to @itsanerdlife for being my guide to anything and everything pitbull. this is a bucky fic but if I’m being honest Frankie is the star of the show. And thank you to @mo320 for proof reading
Warnings: Talk about past abuse towards an animal
You were taking a walk in the park with your blue nosed pitbull Frankie and getting the occasional side eye you have grown accustomed to. On the outside all anyone saw was a vision creature who should have been put down but on the inside he was your precious chunky monkey who got a second chance in life who would never hurt a fly.
Tumblr media
He was starting to get a little antsy so you tighten your grip on his leash. One second he was walking next to you and the next he took a running start and you lost your grip on his leash. You started shouting and running after him. In the distance you saw him on top of a very large man licking his face. That was the thing about Frankie, he's a gentle giant but he's more than capable of knocking a large man down on his ass. As you got closer you saw a wrapper on the ground and crumbs all over Frankie's face.
"Francis Michael Y/L/N!" That got his attention and he quickly sat back. "What on earth are you doing, get off him now." You ran the rest of the way and helped the man up. "I am so sorry I don't know what got into him." You started to brush off the grass off his back and arms but stopped when you felt him stiffen.
"I'm so sorry." You slightly lowered your head and nudged your dog. "Frankie apologize." He followed your lead and lowered his head. You looked up when you heard a chuckle.
"It's alright doll, no harm done. Although I can't say the same for my bagel." He looks down to point out the wrapper on the floor.
"Please let me buy you a new one."
"There's no need." He gives you a small smirk.
"It's the least I can do." You grab Frankie's leash and stick your hand out to introduce yourself. "I'm Y/N and this trouble maker here is Francis Michael or Frankie for short."
He takes your hand and introduces himself as well. "My name is Bucky, it's good to meet you." He lowers himself and introduces himself to Frankie. "It's good to meet you too Frankie." He sticks his hand out and Frankie immediately places his paw on top of it. "Well aren't you a good boy." He looks up when he hears you chuckle.
"Only occasionally, he's a vicious beast the rest of the time." You're looking past Bucky when you say it, glaring at an older woman who was looking at your dog with disgust.
The three of you start to walk on your way to replace Bucky's bagel. When he asks what that was about. "Nothing really just putting someone in their place. Frankie here always gets judgmental looks, his breed doesn't have the best reputation."
"I can relate." He clenches his gloved hand when he speaks. "He's just a dog though, I can't imagine someone judging him."
"He doesn't have the best past but he's worked hard to get where he is." You look down and smile at him.
"How so?" He curiously questions you.
You get a little emotional when you start to think about his past. "Frankie was a shelter dog who was rescued from a dog fighting ring, he was found chained up and abandoned. So malnourished you could see his ribs, he was too weak to move so he let people take him back to a shelter. He was able to recover from his injuries but he does have PTSD, he doesn't like new people and that's the main reason he didn't get adopted for a while. I went by the shelter one day and when I saw him I knew we were meant to be family. He still seemed so scared so I constantly returned to see him and little by little he started to warm up to me until he was ready to go to his forever home." You looked down and smiled at him. "He's still wary of new people especially people like the woman you saw earlier who try to tell him he's a bad boy even though in his heart he knows he's not, he's just misunderstood."
"Wow, he's got quite a past doesn't he." Bucky scratches behind Frankie's ear.
"He does, his past will always be a part of him but it doesn't define who he is."
You don't notice the look Bucky gives you, one of pure love.
Ever since that day you and Bucky have become close friends, but more importantly he and Frankie have become close friends. You've found out all about his life and you think their similarities with their PTSD and how people perceive them have helped them bond. Frankie likes to hide behind Bucky whenever he's in trouble.
One day you found a chewed up shoe underneath your bed and almost lost it. "Francis Michael you get your butt over here!" You walk out to your living room and see him hiding his head under Bucky's arm. You hold up your shoe for him to see. "Young man, what is this. That's it no treat for you, dogs who chew up shoes get no treats."
"Oh come on doll I'm sure he didn't mean it." He leans in closer to Frankie as you walk away. "Don't worry bud I'll make sure to sneak you a couple treats."
"James Buchanan Barnes stop enabling him." You shout from the next room.
Bucky just laughs and cuddles up to Frankie.
You were going on a late afternoon walk with Frankie, it had been a busy day so you hadn't had a chance until now. You were trying to rush home and beat the rain, it always made Frankie very uneasy and thunder always sent him in a panic. You were halfway home when you heard a crack in the distance and whimpering right after. "Oh crap, come on buddy let's hurry home." Before you knew it you saw a flash of lightning in the sky as it started to pour. You tried to tighten your grip on the leash but Frankie started to tug and flail, the second your grip loosened he ran.
"Frankie!" You started to frantically run after him trying to catch up. The rain was falling so hard you were starting to lose sight of him. After a few minutes you started to slow down to catch your breath. You looked around and started to panic completely, you couldn't see him anywhere. "No no no no no, this can't be happening. Frankie! Frankie where are you!" Your chest was starting to tighten and you felt tears sting your eyes, you pulled out your phone and called the only person you could think of. "Buck, I lost him. I lost Frankie. We were in the park and it started to rain, he got scared and he ran off. I don't know where he is, I don't know what to do. What do I do?"
"Hey listen to me ok, just breathe. I'll be there soon. Don't worry we'll find him." He hung up the phone and you stood underneath a tree.
The rain died down a little but it was still falling hard. You're not sure how much time passed, you flinched when you felt a hand touch your shoulder. As soon as you saw it was Bucky you started to cry and he pulled you into a hug.
"It's going to be okay I promise. I need you to go home and I'll find him."
You tried to fight him on it. That was your baby out there, he was lost and scared and you needed to make sure he was safe.
"You're freezing and you could get sick so I need you to go home and I'll stay and find him ok." He gave you a look of concern.
You simply nodded. "Thank you Bucky."
"Of course, what are friends for?" You missed the look of pain when he said friends. He hailed you a cab and you went home.
The whole way there you were worried, what if he was in danger or hurt and crying out for help. Once you made it home you showered and changed into warm clothes as you waited for Bucky's call. You tried to distract yourself as you waited. You thought back to your and Bucky's friendship. He's always been there for you when you needed him. Thru small things like a bad day at work, or a bad breakup. And larger problems like Frankie's mental and physical health. You would always thank him for being an amazing friend and he would always respond by tucking your hair behind your ear and saying "anything for you doll." His hand would always linger but you never thought much about it. He's done so much and has never asked for anything in return, such an amazing friend.
It suddenly hits you, everything has been right in front of you this whole time and you've never realized it.
There's a knock on your door and you rush to open it. Standing in front of you is Bucky holding Frankie against his chest both soaked from head to toe. He walks in and sets him down and you immediately pull Frankie into a hug.
"Frankie I missed you so much, do you know how scared I was." You never wanted to let go. Once you did you stood up and pulled Bucky into a hug. "Thank you. Not just for this but for everything. You've always been there for me when I needed you." You pulled back and looked up at him.
He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. "Anything for you doll."
It was now or never. You placed both hands on his cheeks and gave him the opportunity to pull away if he chose to. When he didn't you pulled him in for a kiss, after a second you felt a hand go on your cheek and the other go around your neck. You both pulled away when you needed to breathe. You looked at each other and smiled.

I’ve seen it a couple of times on here and Twitter, where people believe AB is going to start gaining new attention as an actress since she’s dating Chris. Let’s take a few steps back and look at reality. First of all, as much as the world loves Chris it’s because of his role as Cap (and sometimes the Human Torch). He does not carry the influence and power like Leonardo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt, to be getting her auditions and big connections within Hollywood. He is not the type to be going to a bunch of red carpets, parties, and schmoozing with tons of celebrities unless they’re around each other for work. Majority of the time this man prefers to be at home in the woody suburbs of MA taking selfies of his dog and playing the piano, while hanging out with his childhood friends. Second, Albanun is very much half-assing whatever career she started. She doesn’t want to do her responsibilities by picking up the phone or sitting down for an interview, and skips premieres and screenings. To do what? Go do child’s pose? She doesn’t take her budding career seriously enough and is willing to throw what little she has away for a man who changes his mind like he changes his underwear. Once this whole thing is over (which I see happening soon) all I see is her following dropping and her running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get back on track. Even her own fans are pissed at her for the bare minimum energy she’s been giving. And we can only hope Chris takes the time to reassess the decisions he’s made about this, because he really needs to grow up and get his big boy shit together. I think after this WDW trip this man is going to be exactly where he was after Jenny Round 2 , single and continuing to look for the one instead of taking a hard look into the mirror.

There Goes My Life - Chapter Eight
A/N So a) totally forgot Daniel was in a band, so the sudden WDW updates of their insane and suspicious amounts of ?’s shocked me ngl lol oops and b) I figured since we’re all a mess because of it, not knowing what it means etc etc, that we should take a little break and catch up with Clementine’s own personal “????”

Friday, November 12, 2038
The furious banging on the door woke Penelope suddenly from her comfortable slumber. She rolled over to grab her phone and check the time, barely processing that it was just past 6am when there was another round of strong knocks. She pushed herself out of bed and swung open the door, only to be pushed aside by her older sister coming barreling inside.
“Penelope, I am going to have a breakdown.” Clementine set her open laptop on the desk and tossed down her notebook and the photo album as well.
“Why?” Penelope mumbled, rubbing her eyes to try and wake herself up as her older sister spoke way too loudly and energetically for the hour. “Why are you up so early?”
“I never slept. I’ve had two energy drinks and I just can’t sleep until I figure this out.”
“Figure what out?” Penelope joined her at the desk.
“What Vivian said the other day, about the dates not adding up.”
“Ugh, are we still on that?” Penelope groaned. “Clem, honestly, if it was true don’t you think Dad and Mum would have told us?”
“That’s what I thought too but I had to do some digging because it wasn’t sitting right. I texted Aunt Anna last night, just between her and me, and Dad never toured the campus before attending. The first time he even set foot in Toronto was move in day in August.”
Penelope frowned a second but didn’t say anything, letting her sister continue her energized and emotional rant.
“So I messaged Uncle Callum asking for the name of the high school they went to – saying it was for a project – and I looked it up and found the list of alumni from their graduating year; 2018.” Clementine clicked around on her laptop and then angled it towards Penelope to show her. The webpage was filled with graduation photos and names of the graduates, her mother and uncle standing out among them to her.
“So what? You’re gonna ask around on these adults’ Facebook pages to see if Mum had a boyfriend during her senior year?”
“No, no.” Clementine waved her hand between them. “Although that might have been faster. I went through the tags on Instagram under the school name and scrolled all the way down to 2018 to find photo proof of anyone that could have been close with Mum.”
“Clementine, you’re crazy. That’s twenty years ago.”
“I know. I was scrolling for ages. But I found something!”
Clementine pulled up the screenshot on her phone and handed it to Penelope. The younger sister rubbed her eyes and took a tired inhale before analyzing the photo in her hand. It was prom and Penelope could recognise her mother anywhere with her expensive gown and gentle smile; her twin brother on her arm, Aidan on Callum’s other side, and an unknown boy on her right. He had a small crooked smile towards the camera, hands stuffed in his dress pants pockets as if he was uncomfortable to even be in the picture in the first place, his light brown hair slicked back and framed his light grey eyes.
“Who is that?” Penelope breathed.
Clementine held up her laptop that was zoomed in the focus on a single alumnus, “Matt. Mum’s high school fling.”
“Oh, come on.” Penelope chuckled, passing back her phone. “You get that from one prom picture? He’s barely even touching her.”
“I found his Instagram.” Clementine said, typing away on her phone.
“Of course you did.” Penelope sighed, sitting on the side of her bed as the phone was passed into her hands again.
“You can’t tell me the resemblance isn’t there.” Clementine crossed her arms over her chest.
Penelope stayed quiet as she scrolled through the feed. There weren’t a lot of posts, often many months apart, but as she scrolled farther and farther, she did sort of see a similarity between this strange man and her older sister. She shook it off, thinking it was just her brain looking for something out of nothing, and handed back the phone, “You’re losing it. You need to sleep.”
“I’m telling you, Nell, something isn’t right here and I want to figure it out. Promise me you’ll let me and that you won’t tell Mom and Dad? Not yet.”
“They’re going to be really sad if they find out.” Penelope said.
“At least they hadn’t been lied to for their entire lives.” Clementine grumbled.
“Clem, stop.” Penelope tisked. “This is just a misunderstanding. Why don’t you just ask Mom and Dad if you’re wondering instead of going around behind their backs and making things up in your head.”
“I’m not making this up. I will prove this to you.” Clementine said strongly, grabbing her laptop and notebook again. “I’ll keep you posted.”
“Get some sleep, sis!” Penelope called after her as she watched her older sister rush back out of the door towards her own room.
The younger sister sighed deeply and fell backwards onto the bed with her face in her hands. What was going on?

*Meeting the new Rock Angel. Filming continues*
A few days later after bonding with the actors playing my boys, I came to any day of filming I could (outside of my album recording and touring with Queen and Adam). Now the boys promised me and I knew they would follow up with it, the young actress they got to play me in as a cameo for the Live Aid sequence.
I was talking with Miami when we both heard a knock and that's when Graham King came in.
"I've got her."
"Bring her in." I said. He opened the door wider and soon came in the young woman came in.
"You wanted to see me Mrs. Kline?"
"Yes my dear come in." I said. She came in and took a seat on one of the producer's chair. "I wanted to speak to you guys privately about some things that have come up. But first I would like to know your name my dear girl."
"Ashley. My name's Ashley Johansson. But my friends call me Ash."
"Lovely to meet you Ash, from what I saw up there you—you blew me away."
"Uhh thank you. And can I just say I've been such a big fan of yours. My mum always played your first album on repeat every day when she'd take me to school. But I thank her for that cause your story has just been such an inspiration to not only me but her as well."
"I'm flattered Ash. I'm always happy to hear that I inspire people, even when I feel like I'm not really doing anything. All I do is just bring my music out into the world and try to give voice to things that other's don't deem important."
"That makes you an inspiration Mrs. Kline." She said.
"Oh please Ash darling, call me (y/n)."
"Okay....(y/n)."
"Now then straight to business. As you know Hollywood's always wanting to create biopics of anything and everything. And while I've been aware of both Queen's story as well as Elton's life being made into films. I've always been reluctant in getting my story out, but from what I saw a few days ago I feel like I might've found the right team to do just that. So my dear Ash, tell me this; who do you trust the most in Queen?" she looked at me confused but she soon realized just what I was doing.
"Brian was asking me tons of questions but that was the only question Roger ever asked me."
"And what did you tell him?"
"I told him, that.....All the members of Queen are my family. But if I had to pick, Roger has always seen each side of me. Whether it was the happiest moment of my life, or the darkest day. He's seen my true colors that none of the other band members had seen." I smiled softly and said.
"What happened after you said that?"
"He—he might not have wanted anyone to know but—I could swear I saw him wipe a tear from his eye." I smiled and lowered my head.
"That's my papa lion alright." I muttered. I looked back up to Graham and Ashley and continued, "After seeing the hard work you all have put into Queen's story, I've come to the decision along with my manager and former boss Miami, that I'm willing to sign off the rights to the film to you Graham King. And I want you my dear Ash to play me." They both looked at me in surprise.
"You're—you're serious? You-you want me to play you?"
"I can think of no other person. My uncle and father figures chose well. They—after all knew me better than I knew myself." I heard Miami chuckle softly.
"Thank you (y/n)."
"But there are conditions that I seriously must emphasize on."
"Whatever you want."
"Okay first; I will be heavily involved with the project."
"Done." He said.
"Second, there are some events I will allowed to be shown. But I absolutely refuse to have the stalking episode I was forced to suffer with be heavily shown. It can be touched on but I want nothing else about it in the film. It was hell for my family and my children were scarred for almost ten years, especially my daughter."
"It was horrifying. In my Folklore and true crime class, someone actually did a story on him in the aspect of why celebrity stalking should've been taken more into consideration." Ash said. I closed my eyes heavily trying to compose myself when I felt a hand grasp mine.
"If anything more is spoken about in regards to my Angel's stalker, the project will immediately be terminated." Miami said. I turned to him and he looked at me and nodded firmly as he patted my hand comfortingly.
"The writer's will be informed on it immediately."
"And in regard to Queen's casting, make sure that those four young boys are involved with the project. I love all four of them, they are—everything I remember when I first worked with Queen."
"It shall be done. After this film wraps up and the premiere at Wembley Stadium, you and I can meet at Abbey Road to discuss further more on the project and all the rights that need to be signed." Graham told me.
"Graham King, you've got yourself a deal." We both shook on it. A pact forged that a movie about the Rock Angel would come to place.
Months passed and I was busy touring alongside Queen and Adam for a time, up until Brian decided to pop in on set for a surprise visit. He told me that the boys were now filming the Rockfield farm studio scenes. Now this was one filming session I definitely didn't want to miss.
Brian and I drove up to the location in Hertfordshire, a charming little place known as Stocker's farmhouse and cottage. Since the real Rockfield farm studios wasn't suitable for filming, and ridge farm closed down back in 2003, Stocker's was the only place left.
Coming up onto the filming location, I began to see it looking sorta similar to what Rockfield was when I had used it earlier in my career.
"The studio definitely chose the perfect setting I must say." I said to Brian who was driving.
"Indeed. When the lads and I first came to Rockfield farm we couldn't believe that that was what Fred had in mind."
"But the wide open spaces sure do provide little to no distraction. Guess that's what made a Night at the Opera so successful to you guys."
"You really think so?"
"I know that's how it was for my first album. Plus why do you think your 5th album is the most talked about in regard to your earlier works."
"Suppose you do have a point." He shrugged. After about ten minutes of driving through the country roads, we finally arrived at the farm and the barn house there made me think of the real Rockfield farm studios.
"Not quite the same but the atmosphere of it just brings back memories doesn't it?"
"It does indeed. Shall we go surprise them?"
"Yes, lets." He shut the car off and we both exited the car. We walked towards the barn house where the guys must already be filming right about now since there wasn't really anyone outside. Once we got up to the door, Brian slowly and quietly opened the door but gestured me to go in first.
"Oh lady's first." He said.
"Thank you." I walked inside and Bri followed behind me. Inside I saw some of the crew walking around setting some stuff up. All around it was like the actual recording studio Rockfield farm had. From all the pictures I remember seeing in either magazines or even Brian himself, it was like I was transported back in time to when Queen recorded "A Night at the Opera".
"You know some of those amps and even Roger's kit we used at the time are here."
"Really? So you and Rog donated some of the actual gear?"
"Yep. Since the fans will be nitpicky about certain aspects it's just a fun little way to give them a taste of some of the real equipment. Even Red's here."
"No way. No wonder why you've been using those Red special copies throughout the tour. But Bri are you sure it's okay? I mean I know how protective you are of Red."
"She's been in the best of care."
"Right, right with your mini-copy. I swear even out of the wig and the clothes I can still see you in Gwilym. Are you sure you didn't have another child with a different woman besides Chrissie?"
"I'm positive." He assured me.
"Oh and speak of the devil there's your clone now. Why don't you go say hi while I go find the rest of the little rascals." I patted his shoulder and walked off. As I walked along I saw a familiar figure wearing a long blonde hair sitting next to another young man wearing long auburn hair that went past his shoulder.
I shook my head and walked up to them saying.
"God I swear it's like I transported back in time to 1975." They looked up and proclaimed my name. I was soon tackled in a sandwiched by Joe Mazzello and Ben Hardy.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were touring?" asked Ben.
"I was. But Brian decided to do a little surprise visit so I figured since I missed seeing you four so much, I figured I'd tag along and see how it's coming along. So what all have you done since I was last here?"
"We did a scene in Miami's office to represent Queen getting back together before Live Aid, a concert at Madison Square Garden, and the recording studio scene with Mike Myers." Joe explained.
"Now for the next couple of weeks we'll be doing some of the Rockfield farm recordings as well as the Bohemian Rhapsody music video, when Freddie joins Smile, and the "I want to Break free music video." Ben finished.
"Oh now that last one I've got to see for myself." I said grinning ear to ear. "I'll bet you four are gonna rock the drag look just like my boys did. Especially you Ben." I teased as I gently pinched his cheek.
"Yeah Benjamin I can't wait to see you in that skirt." Joe teased as well pinching his other cheek.
"Alright, alright you two enough." He said brushing our hands away and trying to contain his blush. I giggled softly.
"When that day comes, do I got some stories to share with you all about that day."
"We look forward to hearing them." Said Joe.
"And I look forward to telling them. Just let me know if you boys ever get bored of an old woman ranting on about the past."
"Never (y/n). We could never be bored of you. We love having you here, you've given us a lot of support and advice for playing your coworkers and family members." Ben said as he leaned his head against my shoulder.
"Yeah. We could never get bored of you. The day we get bored of you is the day the four of us stop being Queen fanatics. And this movie only keeps increasing our fandom tenfold each and every day." Joe said as he leaned up against my other shoulder.
"Aww you boys are sweet." I kissed Ben's cheek first which made him blush and softly chuckle.
"You lucky dog! I wanna Rock Angel smooch!"
"Then pucker up Joey dear." He puckered up his lips and I leaned in but at the last second I kissed his cheek which made him pout like a child. I laughed and said. "Sorry my dear, but my lips are reserved for one man."
"Can't blame a guy for trying though right?" he asked hopefully.
"No. I guess not. Now Benjamin, if you'll come with me real quick I would like to spend a little one on one time with you." I wrapped an arm around him when Joe said.
"Better not seduce him away from me!"
"Please Joe dear like I'd ever steal a man from you!" I cried back at him. We walked outside and walked towards the cottage. "Ben I've been wanting to ask you something."
"What is it?"
"When we first met; I had mentioned that I was looking forward to seeing you play the drums, but I noticed that you seemed a bit—tense." He froze right there on the spot. I turned towards him and stood in front of him. "Benjamin. Is there something you'd like to share with the class?"
"Well I—uhh.....when I, when I went to auditioned I—might've said that I......knew how to play the drums. But I've....never drummed a day in my life."
"So you lied? You lied and ended up getting the part of playing my only father figure in the world?" I snapped.
"I'm sorry (y/n) I just really wanted the job. But I worked hard and trained over ten hours a day in the 8 weeks rehearsal time before we shot Live Aid. I just love Queen so much and I—"
"Ben." I pressed my finger to his lips. "Relax. I knew you lied the second day of filming. Roger told me."
"Did he mention the prank that Rami tried to pull on me?" I nodded as I hummed. "Damn rat."
"Oh trust me. When it comes to certain secrets, Roger cannot keep them forever. Especially when his lion cub gets involved in wanting to know." I removed my finger and cupped underneath his jawline. "But when I saw you perform the entire Live Aid sequence, it hardly seemed like you hadn't drummed a day in your life. While I don't condone for liars, I appreciate that you took the time to study just how exactly Roger drums."
"It wasn't easy. But he was supportive and he even gave me a mini drum lesson. Of course he had to step back and say 'alright. Show me what you got'."
"That's exactly like Roger. He always did the same to me whenever he gave me a drum lesson. I remember when he taught me how to play 'Don't stop me now' back when I was an intern and he told me to play it all the way through."
"Jesus that's rough."
"Depends on how you look it. Guess I got on the lighter end than you did cause he's always had a soft spot for me. But his heart's always in the right place when he mentors. Just ask his son Rufus. That boy takes everything after his father. Not just his looks but his talent too."
"Yeah. Roger has given me some good pointers on how to strike the cymbals on a certain song. Or how to properly spin the drumsticks."
"Knowing how to keep the heartbeat going. The drums are the center of the band. If one beat is off, the entire song can go to shit."
"That was always his number one rule to playing the drums. Drilled that into my head every time." I sighed reminiscing the old days of my tutorial sessions with my dad. "So he really was like your father?"
"Yeah. Out of all the members of Queen, Roger was the one I was drawn to the most. It also helped that he loved me just as much as I did him. Always there to comfort me at my lowest moments, but there to celebrate and keep me grounded when I was higher than a kite. Roger Taylor has and will always be my papa lion."
"That's so cute you guys called each other that. Anytime you came up in conversation, Roger always called you his lion cub."
"Either that or his lioness. Lioness is more for the moments when my true strength comes into play and I do something world changing. Lion cub is like a private thing between us. God I can't believe I confessed to him being a lion to me when I was drunk. But if I'm being honest, I don't regret it."
"I can see you don't, my little lion cub." I looked at him and he just gave me Roger's cheeky grin and that familiar twinkle in his eyes just made my heart flutter.
"Cheeky." I grinned. He smiled and shrugged playfully.
Yeah I know he may not look exactly like Roger when I met him but there are some mannerisms that Ben has that just made me think of my adoptive father.
We continued to walk into the cottage cause I wanted to see what they did to the inside of it. There I saw Rami sitting by the piano in the now wearing the long black hair that Fred had at the time. Jesus without the tache, he looked more like Freddie than I could ever imagine.
However that happiness soon turned to dread and absolute disgust as soon coming right beside Rami was a young man who looked like someone who I had loathed my entire life. The one man who made my life a living hell throughout my years with Queen, the poison who nearly destroyed Queen and exposed my secret to the boys.
It was Paul Prenter.
Rami and Paul were chatting away with each other and I felt sick to my stomach.
"(Y/n)? You okay?" Ben asked me.
"Excuse me." I muttered as I passed him. I trudged right over towards Rami and shielded him. "Stay. Away. From him you snake!"
"E-excuse me?" he asked confused. "I don't know what you're talking about." Typical Prenter.
"Don't play games with me Prenter! You might've fooled Freddie once but you will not do it again! I lost him because of you. You ruined his life! And I swear to you I will make you pay for it. I'm not that little girl anymore!"
"(Y/n)! (Y/n) calm down. He's not really Paul Prenter." Rami tried to reason with me.
"Freddie please I'm doing this to protect you!" I then gripped the collar of Paul's shirt and dragged him aside. "You lying son of a bitch! How dare you show yourself again!"
"Wait! Wait I'm not Paul Prenter!"
"STOP LYING TO ME!!!"
"(Y/N)! (Y/N) (M/N) KLINE LET. HIM GO!!" I turned to see Brian as well as Joe, Gwilym and Ben along with some of the crew staring at me. Brian stomped towards me and pulled me away from Paul and he said to me in a stern voice. "The real Paul Prenter is dead. He's been dead just as long as Freddie has. That's an actor playing him. Alan Leech."
My adrenaline came down and when I looked at 'Prenter' again to see that it wasn't the Paul Prenter I knew. For one thing this guy was much younger, the tache wasn't as thick as Paul's was, and his eyes weren't as cold as I remembered Prenter's, they shown with absolute fear.
Oh god.....what have I done? I collapsed to the ground trembling with regret as tears formed in my eyes. I buried my face into my arms as I softly wept. It was then I felt Brian's arms wrap around me, his head gently resting on top of mine as he rocked me slowly while I wept.
*3rd Person POV*
Rami, Joe, Gwilym and Ben looked at each other before turning towards Allen who spoke not a word but was just as worried as the four main ensemble cast was. Rami first tried to approach (y/n) but Brian looked up at him and put his hand up and shook his head.
After she went silent, Brian helped her stand up and he walked her over to the car. He allowed her to just sit there and have some time to herself. Once he shut the door, the young actors walked up to Brian and Joe asked.
"Is she gonna be okay?"
"With time. Allen I apologize ever so much but you can't blame (y/n). The real Paul Prenter he—put her through hell when she started off as an intern. One thing he did was extremely unforgivable that I don't see why we ever kept him around."
"Brian, she uhh—I know I shouldn't say this but when she was trying to defend me from Paul, she—actually called me Freddie." Brian sighed solemnly and said.
"She still blames herself."
"What do you mean?" asked Gwilym.
"Come with me lads." Brian led them over to the cottage porch and all of them sat down along either the railings, the porch swing or on the two chairs that were out. "As you know everyone in Freddie's life suffered after his death. Some of us still grieve the way we do like Roger and myself. And there are some who became so fragile like Deacy. (Y/n).....she's always lied on the in between stage. She misses Freddie beyond anything no mistake about that, but then there are days when she blames herself."
"Blames herself?" Rami asked.
"Yes. See, when Freddie first told us that he was diagnosed with AIDS. He wanted to keep it away from (y/n), because her career was skyrocketing, plus she had her own family to look after with Kelly and the twins. Freddie didn't want her to worry about him, but one year when we were all in Montreux recording our last album Innuendo, (y/n) allowed us to stay at a vacation house of hers that she had there. That's when she began to deduce just what was wrong with Fred. He told Roger and myself that the poor dear had blamed herself for not being there for him. Because—well truthfully there was a fallout with Queen and the Rock Angel for a time. Now whether we make that into the film is unknown I know writers are always doing rewrites. But she felt like had she stepped up to Prenter or held onto Freddie just a bit longer before turning her back on him, he would've been alive today."
"Jesus." Muttered Ben.
"Poor lass." Allen muttered.
"But she couldn't have known. None of you did."
"And we didn't. Because Fred didn't want anyone to know. It was his personal business and his alone. And although (y/n) says she accepts that it wasn't her fault, there are some days where she says it is. And any reminder of it just sometimes makes her snap."
"I don't blame her. I—I know exactly what she's going through because of my dad's illness. Anything regarding glioblastoma and I just freak out. But—thanks to these guys I.....don't know where I would be."
"We're here for you mate." Gwil said as he patted Joe's knee.
"So you see guys, this film is bringing back a lot of memories for her. Good and bad. So Allen I really hope you don't take offense to what just happened."
"Not at all Brian. Besides after hearing and probably thinking what the real Paul Prenter did, no wonder why she would get defensive around Rami. I hold no grudge against her."
"Thank you. Just—give her time to cool down and then you all can go see her." The five boys nodded in agreement and took the guitarist's word.
*My POV*
After a while once I calmed down and decided I needed to find young Allen Leech and apologize for my erratic behavior. I got out of the car and dapped my eyes with a handkerchief and walked towards the barn.
"Excuse me, Mrs. Kline. We're—not sure it's a good idea for you to be here right now." Said one of the crew members. That's understandable, I knew it wouldn't be that easy.
"It's not that we don't want you here it's just that, well after seeing what happened between you and Mr. Leech. We—think it'd be best if you were to not be on the set for a while." I sighed and said.
"I understand. I was way out of line. But—can you please express my deepest apologizes to Mr. Leech. As well as the boys."
"You can tell me that yourself." An Irish voice spoke up. It was then I looked up to see the five boys themselves.
"You're not going anywhere." Said Rami.
"Mr. Malek, we....."
"We heard what you said dear. Now step away from our Rock Angel so that the six of us may talk." He came up and took my hand and the boys took me into the cottage.
We came into the kitchen area and Rami gestured for me to sit down. Joe pulled out a chair and I sat down while the boys surrounded me.
"Boys; I—what you all had to witness, I have no excuse for my behavior. I am ashamed that you all had to see me act like that. Especially you Allen dear. I—hope you all can find it in your hearts to forgive me."
"I do. Seeing me remind you of someone who—was just known to be such an arsehole and black sheep in Queen's circle, I can see why you acted the way you did. I would've done the same thing too had I seen someone I hate come back and standing before someone who was once a dear friend of mine." Allen said. He came up to me and extended his hand.
"Why don't we forget this whole mess ever happened and start over? Hello Rock Angel, my name's Allen Leech." I looked up at him and smiled as I took his hand.
"Pleasure to meet you Allen darling. And please like I've told these guys, call me (y/n)." he smiled and that's when I stood up and hugged Allen and he hugged me back.
"Aww now that's sweet." Rami cooed.
"We're all friends now." Joe said with a smile.
"Yes. We're all friends. Now get in here you lot, group hug boys!" they all laughed and cheered as we all came together and group hugged each other. Forming a new bond and a new start with one another.
Thankfully the studio actually managed to let me stay the rest of the day after that whole fiasco (all thanks to the boys but mostly Allen for agreeing to not press charges on me for assault). Of course they warned me that with another outburst like that, not only would I not be allowed on set again, my consultant position would be taken away.
So I was more well behaved than usual after hearing that I would be kicked off the set.
Right now the lads were recording Gwilym's bit for the guitar solo, but what was cool was that the crew decided to allow Brian to play the solo for the fun of it. So as the playback of Freddie's voice came on, Gwilym stepped aside while Brian came in his spot and began playing his guitar solo.
I stood beside Gwilym as we both observed Brian playing the famed Bohemian Rhapsody guitar solo. I even took my phone out and took a video of what was going on. After the solo, Gwilym walked over to Brian and I made sure to get both of them in the shot.
"That's brilliant. I love that." Rami's voice spoke as Freddie from the other side of the recording studio.
"So now what?" asked Gwilym.
"The operatic section." Said Rami. Both Gwilym and Bri nodded. A grin spreading across Gwilym's face as he muttered.
"Ah-huh. The operatic section. Good."
"Of course." Brian said. Jesus just seeing them like this and hearing the same voice come out of them, it really was like we took Bri back from 1975 and brought him here.
When Dexter Fletcher called cut, I stopped my video and said.
"Oh man Jack's gonna flip when he sees this."
"Is he ever gonna come by for a visit?" Brian asked me.
"Yeah I myself would like to meet the famous Jack Kline." Joe said from the other side of the booth.
"Well unlike us where we know when our schedules begin, law enforcement doesn't get days off. Especially when he's going for the Chief's chair. But who knows maybe he might come by for a day if not a few hours."
"I hope so. It's been awhile since we've seen that husband of yours." Brian told me.
"Yeah, I know. Jack misses coming in every day just like the old days."
"I'll bet he does. Or he just misses seeing the love of his life perform and rehearse. Back in the day when you kids first started dating, he'd always have that puppy love look in his eyes as he watched up on stage. Remember the time in Seattle?"
"That was in Houston, Bri. If you're meaning the time he was so distracted by watching me that he almost ended up tripping over the stage, that was in Houston, Texas."
"Oh yeah that's right."
"Alright we've had our fun, now let's do this for real. Gwilym get to your mark. Brian and (y/n), gonna have to ask you both to get out of the shot frame please."
"Good luck Gwilym dear." I said as I gave him a peck on the cheek for luck as Brian handed him his original red special and we both walked out of the frame and stood behind the camera.
The day continued on filming the boys recording the famed song that this movie was named after and I swear to you, it was like I was seeing history happen. Like I was transported back in time to the summer of 1975 and seeing my boys (just five years before they even became my boys, back when I was just one of their millions of fans) record one of my favorite albums.
And even seeing the struggle and perfectionism that Freddie had for this song. Rami truly brought Freddie's perfectionist behavior right onto the camera and it just—had me bewildered. It was like I was seeing Freddie again, hard at work on his masterpiece.
After a long day's filming, Brian and I unfortunately had to head back to the city to actually record an album together that he was helping me produce. Since touring was over for now, the boys and I (yes including Adam) we were all focusing on our solo stuff now till the next tour came around.
And since Bri had some free time after working with a talented young woman, I had asked him to come help produce my latest album 'Resurrection'. Ever since hearing about the Queen film and also hearing that Elton as well was going to make a biopic film, the title was named in honor of their upcoming films.
Because it would show a whole new generation of audiences what their stories were and show them that like a phoenix, Queen and Elton will resurrect because you can't keep down true legendary artists.
So for about 2 weeks Brian helped produce the album and of course he and I would post on our Instagram accounts both pictures of brief videos of some behind the scenes stuff of our partnership together.
"And there she is. Working diligently as ever." I heard Bri said. I looked up from my I-Pad to see him holding his phone, probably taking a video for his collection package he likes to do on certain events on his Instagram.
"Yes and I thought you'd be helping me too."
"I am. I'm your publicity for now, then I'll go back to being your producer." I smiled and laughed as Brian chuckled. He turned his phone onto him as he spoke to his Instagram followers, "As you can see we're both working extremely hard. Now we can't give too much away, but you can expect this album to be just as powerful as her previous albums in the past."
"But we unfortunately have to go now, our special guest on the album has just arrived and like Bri said, I never give away spoilers." I said as I came in the shot now.
"Okay well you heard the Angel ladies and gents, this is us signing off till next time. Bye."
"Bye!" Brian turned off the video camera and exited his account. And just as he pocketed his phone away, my special guest came in through the doors.
"(Y/n)!"
"Pink, my sister how have you been?" Yep you read right. I had reached out to the one and only Pink to come sing a duet with me. For years since she came up on the market, people have confused our voices cause she and I had the same powerful low range vocals.
Our first time doing a duet was—oh gosh I wanna say very early 2000's. I wanna say even just shortly after the 9-11 attack. I wanted to bring up an album that would spark some life and hope into the people of America, my in-laws especially cause when we lost Jared and Gen, the whole family felt like it was gonna come apart.
I auditioned several young female artists to sing along with me but their voices just either weren't right for the album or they sounded too nasally. But when this young woman at the time, an artist barely known came along, it blew me away at how our voices could mold well together.
So with me singing in a higher range and her taking the low range we launched the song 'Death by bombs, (live by hope)'. It was at the #1 charts in America for the entirety of the New York cleanup and became a national anthem. Pink and I were even asked for several years to sing the song every 9-11 for about 9 years.
Now here we are again six years after our last collaboration.
"You ready to do this?" I asked her.
"Angel, I was born ready. Anytime to sing with you is always gonna be a good one."
"Alright then ladies, step into the booth and let's get this song rolling."
"You got it Brian." Pink said enthusiastically as she and I walked with an arm wrapped around each other's shoulders and we walked into the booth together to begin our work.
Another week passed and when I received a message from Ben Hardy telling me that they were about to start filming my all time favorite music video 'I want to break free' I was on the first flight back to England (since I was recording the album in America) to see the shooting for myself.
I walked through the studio and everything came flooding back. The extras in the cow patterned leotards, the design of the music video set but it wasn't until I saw Joe dressed in the same granny attire that Deacy wore that hit me with pure nostalgia.
"Oh my god nana Johanna I did not know you were still alive." I said exasperatedly.
"Yeah, yeah hahaha very funny." Joe sneered.
"No, no Joe don't take my comment as an insult. You look—every ounce from what I remember Deacy looking like the day I came by with my wedding invitations."
"You were passing out wedding invitations during this music video?" he asked me. I nodded with a hum.
"Jack and I decided to come by to see the guys cause I wanted to deliver their invitations personally. And also ask them to walk me down the aisle since—well you probably know."
"Yeah I get it." He said as he came up and placed a hand on my shoulder. "So you really think I looked exactly like John did?"
"Absolutely. All that's missing is a crying girl crying out 'where's daddy! Where's daddy! That's not my daddy'."
"Okay this could be my dirty mind but that sounded—" I playfully slapped him in the back of the head.
"You're right to get your head out of the gutters young man! I was referring to his daughter Laura. I mean I wasn't there to see it, but Veronica had told me just shortly after the shoot that she had brought the kids over to see their father. Of course Michael and Robert were hysterical with laughter, but poor little Laura who was only 4 at the time was crying cause she didn't recognize her dad."
"Awww well if you wanna recreate it, I can call my sister and get my niece on Facetime to see if it'll work."
"As much as I would love to see that, let's not scar your niece up for life. But yeah, Laura kept denying that the old granny was her dad. Until he took off the wig and she recognized her daddy's fluffy hair."
"That is literally the most adorable thing I've ever heard."
"I know. Laura was a sweet kid. She was the one most attached to me when I first met her. She even recreated a bit of my song for my birthday when she was just 3 years old."
"Okay (y/n) seriously stop you're gonna give me cavities at this point." I laughed and said.
"Alright now show me the rest of the boys, I want to see them."
"They all look amazing. Except for Ben." I looked at him skeptically but he just took my hand and led me towards the kitchen part of the set. There I saw Rami by the table in the pink shirt and leather black skirt, sporting the 1950's hairdo and nails that Freddie wore that day. Gwilym by the fridge in the pink nightie and bunny slippers, along with the curlers, and of course Ben in the 'Rogerina' getup.
The same style wig, the schoolgirl outfit with the leggings, the heels. Wow he looked more of a Rogerina than the real Roger did for this music video.
I let out a wolf whistle and that's when the three of them turned towards me.
"Rogerina has returned. The women who makes men drool at her feet and women turn for her. And if my son Freddie were here, honey you would most certainly turn him."
"God (y/n) please stop embarrassing me." Ben whined.
"I shall not. My cousin Rogerina was the talk of the town back home. Of course along with Aunt Brianna and Fairy godmother Frida."
"Is that what you really called the guys when you saw them like this?" asked Gwilym.
"Who do you think started the trend names? Freddie's was—kinda last minute since....well due to certain things going on at that time. But really you guys, I love each and every one of you."
"I'm still disappointed in Ben's look." Joe bluntly stated.
"And why's that?"
"His thighs are too big. Too much rugby."
"Yes Joe I know. I've been trying to slim down as best I could but these thighs man!"
"Not everyone can please everybody Ben. But trust me when I say, fans will love this and will love you as Rogerina. Plus I think you look absolutely beautiful."
"You really think so?"
"Hell yeah. You're still prettier than I am."
"Oh come on now that's never gonna happen. You are an eternal beauty."
"That's what I've been telling her for years." A voice said behind us. No way. It—it couldn't be. I turned around and my ears weren't deceiving me at all.
Dressed in grey shirt with a dark color blazer and dark blue jeans, the greying of his once blonde hair but those warm eyes of his were unmistakable. A wide smile spread across my face as I laughed out and walked towards him.
"Jack!" I hugged him and he hugged me back. I separated but kept my arms wrapped around his neck. "What are you doing here?"
"The case got solved so I figured might as well put some time off and see just what you and Freddie were talking about. So I called up Roger and asked him where the filming was at, and here I am."
"Ohhh you." I leaned forward and we gave each other a loving kiss.
"Awww." We separated from each other and I cleared my throat.
"Whoa. Okay did we just transport back in time?" asked Jack.
"No love. Boys, I'd like you to meet my husband and the love of my life for over 30 years, Jack Kline. Jack, this is Rami Malek, Gwilym Lee, Joe Mazzello and Ben Hardy." I pointed to each of the actors individually.
"It's a pleasure to meet you boys." Jack said with a wave.
"Believe us, it's an honor to meet you Mr. Kline. Brian, Rog and (y/n) have told us many stories about you." said Rami.
"Oh god, if Roger was telling the stories he made me look bad didn't he?" I playfully slapped his chest.
"Not all the time." replied Ben.
"In all seriousness, I must say.....wow this is....."
"I know right? Oh darling just wait till you see the Live Aid sequence Brian managed to record. Don't they just look the part?"
"Yeah. So much so that it's almost scary."
"Ohh and Jack dear, you remember back when George and Jackson were obsessed with Jurassic Park?"
"Lord do I ever. They practically ruined the tape." He said with a groan.
"Well—Joe here, played the young boy Tim in the film." I then saw Jack's jaw drop as he turned towards Joe.
"So you're—you were....."
"Yep. I was little Tim Murphy in Jurassic Park. My first major gig that got my name out there."
"Wow. And seeing you now dressed like this it—you look so much like him." Jack said in awe. I turned to Joe with a 'told you so' look.
"Yeah it was scary to see just how much I looked like him. I even asked my mom if she was up to anything around 1983." Jack laughed.
The rest of the day was spent seeing the boys perform the music video, as well as a couple more stage concerts from both the 70's and 80's. When Jack got to see these four young actors in full Queen costume and hair/makeup, he was blown away. As we were in the back of the extras who were the crowd, Jack kept his arms around me as we watch in awe.
His head leaning against mine as we watched Rami literally become Freddie with every strut, head turn and bent back, se saw Gwilym play a model of the red special guitar just how Brian is known for, Ben working hard in the back with the drums literally playing just like how Roger is known to play. But I know that out of the four of them, Jack was beyond amazed at seeing Joe Mazzello play his former mentor and idol John 'Disco' Deacy.
His bass playing and even doing the funky little moves that John as known to do on a more upbeat song like 'Fat Bottomed girls,' or 'We will Rock you'. We clapped along with the extras and cheered for them. I knew that with what I've seen so far, this movie was going to be—sensational. Just like the band themselves.
Later that night after wrapping for the day, Jack and I were now at home getting ready for bed.
"So, what did you think of it?"
"They picked the right actors. And the right team to work on it. You were right (y/n)."
"Of course I am." I teased.
"Don't get cheeky with me love, you know what I mean. This movie it—it's everything I hoped it would be. I just wonder if—he would've loved it." I looked at my husband empathetically and said so
"He does." I looked out towards the window up at the stars and continued, "They both do." I felt Jack wrap his arm around me and the two of us cuddled up close together and fell right asleep after a long and busy day.

Not my first choice• Jack Avery
*disclaimer: this is my first imagine on this app, but I have written on others. This is also my first WDW imagine. Also it’s kinda short but maybe I’ll do a part 2?
*Warnings? Mention of abuse, cursing
Summary: after a hard breakup you go to visit your twin brother Zach. However his best friend, Jack and you hate each other. After a night of talking maybe he isn’t so bad after all.
3rd person POV
“Hey, my sisters coming to stay next week! She’s in a rough spot and my mom says it’ll do her good to get out of the house.” Zach told the boys while closing the door to the fridge.
“If she needs to, she can take my bed, I’m going to Christina’s for the weekend.” Corbyn answered. Zach nodded in response, meanwhile Jack stared at Zach with his arms crossed. Zach frowned at his best friend, “dude, I know know you don’t like her but bare with me, it’s just for a week.”
Jack didn’t answer, just continued to stare at him, Zach mimicked his behavior. After a solid two minutes Jack finally spoke, “Fine, but I’m not being nice to her.”
Nobody really understood why Jack and Zachs twin sister Y/N hated each other, they just did. All the boys really liked her, she was nice and caring, but she knew how to have fun.
“What’s going on?” Jonah asked walking into the kitchen to grab some coffee alongside Daniel who grabbed a plate full of eggs.
“Zachs sister is coming to stay next week.” Corbyn beamed. Jonah smiled warmly, “no boyfriend this time right?” He joked. Y/N’s boyfriend, Josh, was hated throughout the Why Don’t We house. He was controlling and manipulative, Y/N knew this too, but around him she was like a glass doll, venerable with every touch.
Zach looked at the ground for a second then looked back up, “actually, they broke up.” After hearing the words come out of Zachs mouth Corbyn nearly choked on his food, “she finally did it?!” He exclaimed. Zach looked back at the floor, “he left her...for her best friend.” He answered quietly. “Oh.” Was all Corbyn managed to say. Zach twittled his fingers, “yeah, mom says she barely comes out of her room. I just wish I was there, you know?”
Zach felt guilty for not being there for his sister more, and it was obvious. “Hey man, don’t beat yourself up, you’re gonna be there now, that’s all that matters.” Jonah said from beside him, zach half smiled and shrugged.
———
Y/N’s POV
My hand stopped before I knocked on the door. Moments later I was met with an all too familiar face.
Jack.
“Jack.” I frowned. Jack returned the frown, “Y/N.” Moving past him I rolled my suitcase into an empty house. I spun my head around, “Zachs not here is he?” I said. Jack shook his head, “nope, him and Daniel went shopping and Jonah went to grab coffee.” Jack explained as I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a cookie from the bowl in front of me and rolled my eyes, “Typical.” I scoffed. I popped the cookie in my mouth as I grabbed my suitcase and headed up stairs towards Zach, Jonah, and Corbyns room.
After a few moments of laying on Zachs bed playing on my phone the door opened. The sounds of footsteps rushing up the stairs could be heard. The door swung open and I was engulfed in a hug from my brother. “I missed you, a lot.” He said. I smiled and hugged back, the only feeling I could feel was happiness. “I missed you too.” I replied on the brink of crying. He let go of me, seeing the tears that had now formed he brushed them away with his thumbs. I giggled and pulled him into another hug. We stayed hugging for a minute, it felt as if there was no such thing as anger or sadness, only happiness.
After hugging Zach explained how Corbyn was staying at Christina’s so I could sleep in his bed till then.
“Here, I brought this from home.” I said handing him a picture of us when we were younger. Our faces were smooshed together while we smiled goofy. He laughed, “I think this will forever be my favorite picture of us.” I giggled, “because we actually look like we love each other?” He nodded, “exactly why.”
“I should probably say hi to the rest of the boys, shouldnt I” I said.
“Yeah, probably, they missed you.” He responded, while following me downstairs.
“Y/N!” Daniel yelled, I was then engulfed in another hug, except this one by Daniel and Jonah. “Hi!” I hugged back. They let go after a few moments, the first face I saw after the hug was jacks. I looked at him, then at my brother, “We’ve already said our greetings.” I stated. Zach crossed his arms, “I don’t care, I’m making you two greet each other again.”
“Jack.” I grumbled, “Y/N.” He grumbled back. Zach scoffed from the side, “Can you two at least act like you like each other?” I sighed and turned back to face jack with a smile as fake as plastic, “Hi jack! I missed you so much!” I exclaimed. Jack returned my fake smile and said, “Hi Y/N! I missed you too!” He threw his arms around me and I returned the hug while we both death stared my brother.
“Alright! Alright! I get it!” He yelled. I let go of Jack, “Thank god!” Jack and I sighed Simultaneously.
———
A few hours later we were laying in the living room watching Annabelle, Jack and I on the couch and Zach and Daniel on the floor inside the blanket fort they made. Jonah had decided to not partake in scary movie watching, he hated scary movies more than Jack and I hated each other...which was saying something.
We were around the middle of the movie when Zach and Daniel fell asleep, leaving jack and I the only ones awake. We kept on the movie so we wouldnt have to talk to each other though.
The loudness of the door slamming on the TV made me jump and cuddle my blanket more. Jack smiled from the other side of the couch. I gave him a glare, “it’s not funny, I’ve see you jump but I didn’t laugh.” Jack laughed a little, “I know but, I- never mind.” I crossed my arms and smirked, “that’s what I thought.” Jack shook his head and rolled his eyes before focusing back on the movie.
My phone dinged causing my attention to go to my phone, my Ex best friend posted a new Instagram picture. Her notifications had been on when we were friends and I forgotten they were on. It was a picture of her and Josh, my Ex boyfriend. He left me for her, and there wasn’t anything I could do except stay mad and shut people out, including my own family.
My whole mood changed and anger and sadness fueled within me. I slammed my phone on the couch and went to the bathroom, locking the door. My fingers ran through my hair and tears formed in my eyes, but I couldn’t let any of the boys see me broken.
A knock at the door brought me from my thoughts. “Hey, Y/N, are you alright?” Jack asked softly. It wasn’t like him to ask if I was alright. I quickly rubbed the tears from my eyes and opened the door, “yeah, just peachy.” I smiled. It was fake and I could tell he could see right through me, I had always been a bad lier. Jack sighed, “I know we hate each other, but I don’t like seeing you sad, you are my best friends sister. You don’t have to talk to me about anything, we don’t have to be best friends but I should still ask and check up on you.” He smiled softly. I nodded, “You’re right, I am sad, I’m not alright, and I really don’t want to talk to anyone about it.” I responded, he half smiled while nodding, “but,” I continued, “I need to talk to someone about it, I don’t want to, but I need to. You’re not my first choice...but you are the only one awake.”
I stayed awake talking to Jack about the whole situation for an hour or two, he didn’t say anything, didn’t argue or interrupt, he just listened which was exactly what I needed. By the end of explaining I was tired and decided to head up to bed. As I walked up the stairs I heard jack from behind me, “Hey,” he said, “I’m sorry about what happened, it sucks, really. Plus, Josh was an ass, we all thought so.” I smiled at him and let out a small laugh.
“Thanks Jack.” I replied, then proceeded upstairs to bed.

The Fairy Feller’s Master-Stroke (Joe Mazzello x Reader, SMUT!)
Tumblr media
Part 16 of The Queen Repertoire
WARNINGS: Language, SMUT!
Notes: I have sinned dear father father I have sinned.
I was beyond frustrated at this point.
I was originally hired on as a movement coach for Joe Mazzello (not that he needed it much; the man is exceptionally talented at the Disco Deaky way of performing). I worked with him; tweaking his movements/bass playing to perfection when need be (which was hardly ever). That was when trouble started.
You see he got down John Deacon's movements so well it was torture.
I first notice the ache when he first practiced the number that involved him sliding his fingers up the neck of the bass. It made my heart skip and the look on his face did not help one bit. Then he played the chords to 'Another One Bites The Dust'. Never did I expect him to nail the way Deaky would arouse the audience with just his fingers.
Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke indeed!
I did my best to keep those feelings hidden and remain professional... but there was no fooling Rami. “Oh darling do us all a favor and shag the lads brains out already,” he said in full Freddie mode.
“Whatever gave you that idea Mr. Mercury?” I asked playing dumb for professionalism's sake.
“You've been damn near drooling over him for the last few days, love,” he said. “Especially when he's playing.”
“You're quite the sexy performer as well and you don't see me drooling over you now do you?” I asked.
“Only 'cause you're not that naughty of a minx to be turned on by two men instead of one,” he continued. “Besides he fancy's you just as much as you do him.”
“Wait. Really?”
He smiled at me. “I'm Freddie Mercury darling. I'm never wrong.”
Leave it to Rami to make my head spin. “Go do your vocal warm up then. You silly old Queen.” I smacked him playfully on the arse.
“Keep that up and we might have to make this a three way, love,” he teased  as he walked towards the front of the stage.
“Um did he just say three way?” I turned to see Joe standing in front of me. Fuck, fuck, fuck!
“Uh...just ignore him he...uh...he's just getting very into the role is all,” I said nervously.
“But there's no mention of a three way in the script,” he said looking at me curiously.
“Of course not then they'd have to make it R or possibly even X-Rated,” I said. “Besides they've re-written the script so many times who knows what was in the original.”
“Hey hey relax,” he said grabbing my hand. “I'm only teasing,” he smiled and my heart took off like Roger's drums. “Are you okay? You're trembling slightly.”
“Oh, I'm, uh, fine,” I said mentally shouting at my heart to calm itself.
“Am I...I dunno...making you nervous for some reason?” he stepped closer.
“Alright guys let's go through Radio Ga Ga and uh then we'll give Hammer To Fall a go,” Dexter said through his megaphone.
Joe and I looked at each other for a brief moment before I did the craziest thing. I placed my hand around his neck and pulled him down to my lips. It was brief but warm and very much unforgettable. I pulled back leaving Joe stunned. “Go show them your master-stroke my fairy feller.”
“Mr. Mazzello would care to join us?” Dexter asked snapping Joe out of his daze. He quickly darted to where his bass sat and picked it up.
The rest of the day went by in a blur. After work wrapped up for the day the lads went their separate ways to their trailers. Each of them had gotten sweaty and had earned themselves a nice warm shower.
“Can we talk?” I asked Joe as he made his way to his trailer.
“Uh yeah, mind waiting a few minutes though? I smell like ass,” he said.
“Sure,” I said following him into his trailer.
I stood there unsure what to do for what felt like forever. Joe stripped down behind a curtain and hopped into the shower. The thought of him...of what he looked like...of how his fingers moved today...it drove me mad all over again.
A part of me wondered if this is how Veronica felt each time before conceiving another child with Deaky. And I wondered what Freddie would've told her when she was in my situation; that first time Deaky made her want, or rather crave, more of him. Be bold, darling.
Yeah he would say that.
So I took a deep breath before ridding myself of my own clothes. I nervously walked over to the shower and let myself in.
“Y/N what are you—―—?” I cut him off with my mouth.
His lips were warm and undeniably frozen in place. I pulled back convinced I just royally fucked up. “Oh God...I am so sorry...um...forget I did anything.”
I started backing out of the shower covering my breasts and lady bits as well as I could. “No, wait, Y/N!” I turned around nervously. Joe approached me and moved my hands. “You're fucking stunning you know that?”
“Um, not really but...” It was his turn to cut me off  with his lips. He wrapped his arms around me and picked me up wrapping my legs around his waist. He pressed me against the shower wall. “Tell me...” he muttered. “Tell me what you want kitten.”
He put me down then and I took his hand in mine. Emboldened by that damn craving again I took his hand and placed it between my legs.
“Show me that master-stroke my fairy feller,” I whispered. He smirked and began moving his fingers. I moaned at the feeling. “God those fingers have been torturing me all day.”
“Oh really?” Joe smirked moving his fingers faster.
“FUCK!”
Before I knew it my whole body was tensing up. “Oh are you gonna cum for me kitten?”
I whimpered. “Y-Yes...FUCK!”
I tightened around his fingers covering them in my juices.
“That's a good kitten,” Joe whispered brushing his lips against mine. “Lemme know when you want more okay?”
I nodded and reached down wrapping my hand around his length. It was already hard and thick. I started to pump him which in turn made him hiss.
“Fuck you are so good at this kitten,” he groaned. “So fucking good.”
“Just tell me when to stop my Fairy Feller,” I said before kneeling down.
I kissed and  licked at the tip before taking all of him into my mouth. His body shuttered as I sucked on him.  Eventually it became way too much for him to handle and he gently pushed me away.
“If you keep going I'm gonna cum in your mouth kitten,” he said panting. “And there's no way I'm doing that without properly thanking you for that fucking amazing head session.”
He picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist pressing me against the wall. He kissed me once more before slamming into me. “OH HOLY SHIT THAT'S TIGHT!” he gasped.
“FUCK!” I gasped at the same time.
After a moment he started thrusting into me. How he's been single this long astounds me. How his ex had the AUDACITY to cheat on him also fucking astounds me. Not only was he the sweetest man in the world but he was also mind-blowing at sex.
He held me tight against him as he moved, sucking at  my neck every now and then. I moaned and writhed as he hit the right spots. Suddenly he found a really good spot. “FUCK! JOEY!”
He groaned. “I love it when you moan my name kitten. Care to do it again?”
He thrust into the same spot. “Joey,” I moaned again and again as he kept hitting the same fucking spot. “JOEY!” I screamed tightening around him, my body trembling.
“Fuck! FUCK!” Joe tenses up and I feel him twitch inside me. He continued to moan as he came inside me. “I fucking love you, Y/N.”
“I...I love you too Joey,” I said pecking him on the lips. He let me down and we quickly washed up. Very tempted to go for round two.
We dried off, got dressed and stepped out of the trailer where we were greeted by Rami, Gwil, and Ben.
“Um hey we were just gonna go for drinks,” Gwil said. “And figured we wait for you two but...”
“You two took bloody forever in there,” Rami said still speaking like Freddie. “Now what was so important that you had to keep us waiting this long?”
“Oh, uh nothing,” I said. “I mean we're kind of dating now so...”
“Huh that explains why you're walking so funny,” Ben chuckled.
“Jealous?” I asked. He then grew a little awkward.
“Maybe,” he muttered.
“Well I guess you'll just have to join us next time,” I winked at him.
“Really?” he smirked.
“Nope,” Joe and I laughed and we continued on walking off the set with the others.
As we did I looked over and winked at Ben.
What can I say? Drummers frustrate me too.
