Personality:
🦈 Myers Briggs Type: ISTJ If you want the job done right away. Tiala is there to finish it. Whatever task that you have she’ll do it even if it’s small. She just wants to assist to make things easier for her friends and comrades (if you're trustful enough for her).
🦈 Strict but Caring: Just like her father, who used to be in the military, she is very strict when it comes to training. Making sure that the recruits are not just lacking or sitting around. She made sure they DO things. But she is very caring for her comrades. You can say it's called "Tough Love" (learned that from her parents).
🦈 Judgmental: Tiala had a habit of judging people at first glance. Of course, she doesn’t show it when meeting someone during work hours. But OUT of work? She’ll just give you that look. The look that says it all.
🦈 Stubborn: Tiala is usually a stubborn gal. She doesn’t usually ask for help. It was really concerning for others to see her working by herself very hard without any assistance. But if you’re a close friend with her. She’ll reconsider.
🦈 Reluctant: There are times that Tiala will hesitate when it comes to deal with people who has families. Should understand she has her OWN family back at home. So that will hold her back at times.
🦈 Bad Driving Skills: She doesn’t have a very BAD driving skills. She can drive nicely! BUT. When it comes to the situation that someone is rushing her or annoys her WHILE driving. She’ll just swerve the car a bit. As long as you let her focus on driving then everything will be alright. Just be silenced and enjoy the ride😊 (And she had a driver’s license)
Skills and Abilities:
🦈 Fighting Style: Hand-to-Hand Combat, Martial Arts and Boxing
🦈 Weapons: Mk 13 rifle, M4A1 and Benelli M4
🦈 Distinct Weapon: Gerber Gear Knife and Glock G43X
🦈 Special Skills:
Marksman: A very skillful sniper who can take down any targets. From near and far.
Swimming: I know most people can swim but for Tiala. She can swim and goes down under water for over 20 minutes. How deep? About 50ft down.
Planning: She always has great plans to succeed in their missions. Even have a backup plan in case. If you need someone to plan ahead for any special occasions. Tiala is the woman you need.

Trivia:
🦈 Tiala’s last name, Toa. Means ‘Warriors’ in Samoan. So you could see that these families REALLY represented their names. By joining the military. 🦈 Love Sharks and the oceans. She secretly has a shark plushie back at home (Kanoa got that for her). 🦈 HATES the cold. It always makes her nose runny and needs a lair of coats and scarfs to keep her warm. 🦈 Heat doesn’t bother her. Even wearing long sleeves and putting her hair down under the heated weather. She lives in a "Tropical Island". What do you expect?
Background Story: (WARNING: Might mention about Sexual Abuse and Kidnapping)
In American Samoa on November 19th, 1997. Tiala was born. And she was the youngest one in the family.
After two years of Tiala being born, her older brother (Hōne) had left to the Marine but he would always come back home to spend time with his family.
When Tiala turned 16-years-old, it was her birthday. She had received very sad news from Kanoa. Kanoa came back from the Marines to tell them the news that Hōne had sadly passed away from the mission that he was sent to. Which really upset Tiala. She could feel her heart was crying out for her dearly older brother. For he had promised that he’ll come back home on her special day. So she hadn’t celebrated her birthday much since then.
During her Sophomore Year in High School, she was still 16. Tiala had a crush on a boy who was part of the football team. And she was trying to ask him out before their Christmas break. And to her excitement, he accepted. She had thought that she had found love in her life. But little did she know that her happy love life would turn out dark.
After the summer break, Tiala is a Junior in High School. Her boyfriend has been acting pretty touchy lately. NOT in a good way though. More like touching the part that she doesn’t want him to touch. Which made him upset. And she doesn’t want him to be upset. So she let him have his fun.
Until the year of her being a Senior, her boyfriend had been getting a bit more possessive than being lovely. And it worried her that she needed to talk with her family. But that’s when he pulls the threats on her if she EVER tells anyone about this. She hesitated and didn’t tell anyone. Except that her little brother, named Hemi, saw what her boyfriend was doing in the back of the school. Hemi was being sent by their parents to check on Tiala that they’re there to pick her up. He was going to tell their parents but Tiala begged him not to. So he just gave in and didn’t tell their parents.
And on the night of the Senior Prom. The school let the Senior students bring some of their family members to join in this special occasion. So Tiala happily invited her parents and some of her brothers. Which is only Rangi, Kanoa and Hemi. The night was going so well until Tiala’s boyfriend wanted to take her away from the party so they could have their “FUN” which she doesn’t want to. And that’s when he started to get very pushy at it. Which caught Hemi’s attention to see his older sister being pulled away. So calling the two older brothers. Kanoa and Rangi quickly came in and took Tiala back before warning the boyfriend to stay away. Soon the whole crowd’s attention was on them as the boyfriend was getting pissed off. Starting to yell at Tiala and blaming her for being such a boring kind of partner. And that’s when he confessed that he cheated on her with another girl. Which fueled Kanoa’s anger but instead of HIM beating the boyfriend up. Everyone was surprised to see Hemi ran in and tackled him down. Beating him up instead. One of the teachers pulled the two boys away and ended the party.
(Everyone was alright. Just Hemi’s knuckles were being bruised up and he was 11-years-old! Can you believe that?)
After graduation, Tiala had started to plan on joining the Marine Corps with her two brothers. To honor for Hōne. So they started packing and the two older boys took her to Hawaii. Where the camping of the Marine soldiers will be at. She had worked long and hard to finish her test and training. Which was worth it for she had passed all of it. And the two older brothers were very proud. She was 17-years-old when she joined.
So Tiala had taken the position as Staff Sergeant after serving for 4 years and she had made quite a few friends. But her two main friends who she had met are Staff Sergeant Ela Anand and Master Sergeant Herman Black. The two had always made her feel so welcoming ever since she joined in. And the three had been picked by an unnamed Colonel who needed soldiers to help assist to stop the human trafficking. And he did warn them about how dangerous this could be. The three friends were excited for this mission but Tiala’s older brother, Rangi, disapproved of this. He had his concerns for her as this was her FIRST mission and were afraid that something bad might happen. Kanoa had reassured Rangi that she’ll be fine. He will go with her to keep her safe. Tiala agreed with this term even the Colonel agreed as well.
They have traveled to Baja California. The borderline of part Mexico. The team had gotten an intel about Human Trafficking in that area. They have believed that the Drug Cartel is making deals with the other Trafficker who was doing Human Trafficking. So they have to act fast to stop them. The Colonel had already made orders to separate two different teams. Which Tiala is going with Ela and Herman and the others. But Kanoa cannot go as he is going with the Colonel and the other teams. Tiala had reassured her older brother that she’ll be fine since she’s going with her two friends. The two different teams had already split up as they went to look for the Cartel. But Tiala and her team have been ambushed and kidnapped by them. This was in May 2017.
3 months later. Tiala and her two friends are the only ones who are still alive. They don’t know what these cartel people do to their other team members but they have to stay strong and hope that the other marines will come to their rescue. But after a few weeks, Tiala had seen Herman had been dragged out of his cell first and was being pushed by the men. She doesn’t know what they’ll do to him. But her question has been answered by the sound of guns shooting and some people screaming. Her eyes widened at this and felt Ela hugging her and trying to comfort her. They need to get out of here and FAST.
At the very last week of the month, Ela had already had a plan to escape. And Tiala agreed to go through it. The two had already escaped from their cell and put down most of the enemies who were blocking them. And all they have to do is to go over the wall. Ela wanted Tiala to go first and was about to boost her up before being shot. Tiala was devastated and shocked as she saw her only friend had died in her own blood. She was taken back and was dealing with her PUNISHMENT. Which you will know of how she got her burnt scar on her tattoos. And already losing her virginity.
2 months later, Tiala was slowly losing her emotions and her insanity as she kept working for those bastards. As they were having their fun. And today was her last day to be living in this cruel world. FINALLY. Before they could even take her, there was a sudden shooting in the area. And even BIG explosions. Who could it be?
It was the Marines. And her brother Kanoa was the one who was leading and had found her. So he took Tiala quickly to the medical area back to the base. October 2017.
Tiala was released from the Marines just to let her rest and hopefully recovered both mentally and physically. She wasn’t the same from then. She didn’t want any of her brothers or her father to come near her. Even though they are her family she couldn’t get the images about those MEN out of her head. Every time they come near. She’ll scream or flinched when they are present. Which really hurts their hearts.
It’s been 2 months that Tiala has to recover and still didn’t let any of her brothers or her father come near. Until, Kanoa had an idea. While Tiala was just resting on her bed, looking through the window. She suddenly hears someone singing outside of her room. So curiously, she slowly walked out of her room and into the living room before seeing Kanoa was playing the guitar while singing their favorite church song. Called “A Pei Se Vaitafe” (Like a River). And she slowly walked over to Kanoa as memories flowed through her mind of how Hōne used to sing that song to her. And sat down next to him as she softly sang along with him. Her whole family slowly peeked in to see this and was very touched to see Tiala had finally come out to her family.
Before the Summer starts, in the year of 2018. Tiala had come back all fresh and new. For she wanted to continue to serve for her lost friends and brother. And then she heard that Kanoa was making a Task Force. She was also being asked by the General, named Alana and the one who was helping Kanoa to form a team for his Task Force, if she wanted to join. So she didn’t hesitate to take it and was placed in to be Kanoa’s Second-in-Command. That’s when she met the other two new members of the team. Sergeant Agnes “Blast” Falagi and Dr. Aelan Kalani. The two soldiers who were the one who helped Kanoa to save her. And she had given her thanks and accepted them into their new team.

U.S. Navy starts investigation and releases images of the P-8 that sweeped the runway and stopped inside the sea in Hawaii
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 11/27/2023 - 10:16am Aeronautical Accidents, Military
The U.S. Navy will call an investigation into the November 20 accident in Hawaii, where a Navy's P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft passed the end of the runway and ended up in Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii, authorities said, adding that the aircraft is structurally intact.
Three pilots, along with a crew of two officers and four soldiers, were on board the aircraft at the time, but no injuries were reported, authorities said. The Poseidon belonging to the 4 "Skinny Dragons" Patrol Squadron of Whidbey Island, Washington, was landing at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Air Station when, for undetermined reasons, the aircraft left the runway and entered the shallow bay just before 2 p.m. (local time for Hawaii). The weather at the time of the accident was cloudy and windy.
Tumblr media
The P-8A Poseidon, based on the Boeing 737 plane, remained in the bay until Tuesday night.
“The U.S. Navy will call an investigation to determine the cause and factors that contributed to the accident,” San Diego-based U.S.-based 3ª Fleet officials said in a statement released Tuesday night.
The flight data recorder has already been recovered while the military continues to plan the removal of the aircraft.
The U.S. Navy Aircraft Accident Council is investigating the site at the Hawaii Marine Corps Base in Kaneohe Bay, trying to determine the cause of the accident and any factors that contributed. A hydrographic survey was carried out to evaluate the structural integrity of the P-8A plane.
Tumblr media
"The preliminary evaluation indicates that the aircraft is structurally intact and there are no signs of fuel leakage from the aircraft," they said. “More information will be released as soon as it is available,” the statement said.
Tumblr media
The aircraft ended up near the end of the runway, with its fuselage apparently floating in the sand and coral-covered bay. The first responders and emergency teams who arrived at the site established floating barriers to contain any fuel that spread through the bay. “Diverers from Mobile Diving and Rescue Unit 1 worked during the night to help stabilize the aircraft,” officials said in the statement.
Residents of Kaneohe Bay expressed concerns about possible damage to coral reefs and other potential damage caused by fuels or other chemicals in the area, which is about 2.4 kilometers from a former fishing spot.
Tumblr media
A response team was formed to deal with aircraft recovery, force protection and environmental issues, authorities said. This specially trained team monitors the area 24 hours a day.
Another Washington state crew, from the VP-40 "Fighting Marlins" squadron, arrived Thursday to take over the coverage of the internal defense, the Navy said.

The first island chain forms one of three island chain doctrines within the island chain strategy in US foreign policy.[2]
Much of the first island chain is roughly situated in waters claimed by China.[3] These include the South China Sea, within the nine-dash line, as well as the East China Sea west of the Okinawa Trough.
US General Douglas MacArthur pointed out that before World War II, the US protected its western shores with a line of defense from Hawaii, Guam, to the Philippines. [...] The WW2 victory allowed the US to expand its line of defense further west to the coast of Asia, and thus the US controlled the first island chain.[4] Between the end of WW2 and the Korean War, MacArthur praised Taiwan, located at the midpoint of the first island chain, as an 'unsinkable aircraft carrier'.[5]
In April 2014, the United States Naval Institute (USNI) assessed that the first island chain is the most effective point to counter any Chinese invasion.[6] The US could not only cut off the People's Liberation Army Navy from entering the western Pacific, but also predict where they may move before trying to break through in the first place. The US and first chain countries are able to coordinate because of the US military's freedom of navigation in the first chain block.[7] In June 2019, USNI called for a blockade of the first island chain if armed conflict broke out between China and the United States.[6]
Andrew Krepinevich argued that an "archipelagic defense" of the countries that make up the first island chain would make up a big part of the implementation of the national defense strategy of 2018.[8] A 2019 report by the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments "proposes a U.S. military strategy of Maritime Pressure and a supporting joint operational concept, “Inside-Out” Defense, to stabilize the military balance in the Western Pacific and deny China the prospect of a successful fait accompli." The first island chain plays a central role in the report.[9] In 2020, the United States Marine Corps started shifting its tactics in conjunction with the United States Navy to be deployed along or near the first island chain.[10] In 2021, the United States Marine Corps announced a goal of three additional Pacific-based regiments.[11] [...]
Around 2009 Japanese military strategist Toshi Yoshihara and Naval War College professor James R. Holmes suggested the American military could exploit the geography of the first island chain to counter the People's Liberation Army Navy build-up.[10] The Cabinet of Japan has also passed defense white papers emphasizing the threat posed by the People's Liberation Army Navy in the first island chain.[13][14][15][16]
In the later years of the 2010s, Japan started deploying military assets to Yonaguni and its other islands to counter China's presence along that area of the first island chain.[17][18]
Japan's strategic position in the first island chain began with US-Japan joint efforts to counter Soviet expansion. The Japan Self-Defense Forces currently plays the role of protecting US military bases and preserving military strength in East Asia. As for Japan's Territorial Protection Self-Defense Forces, which mainly rely on islands in southern Japan adjacent to the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, Japan has military advantages in anti-submarine, air defense and sea mine technologies.[19][...]
In the first island chain, Taiwan is considered of critical strategic importance.[21] It is located at the midpoint of the first chain and occupies a strategic position.[21]
The Second Island Chain can refer to two different interpretations, but the version most commonly used refers to the island chain which is formed by Japan's Bonin Islands and Volcano Islands, in addition to the Mariana Islands (most notably Guam, an unincorporated American overseas territory with a heavily fortified military base), western Caroline Islands (Yap and Palau), and extends to Western New Guinea.[1] The chain serves as the eastern maritime boundary of the Philippine Sea.

“I loved it. I got to do some big cable work, explosion pullbacks, landing on the ground, concussion stuff. It was awesome. I mean, that’s why people tune in!” actor Todd Lasance says of NCIS: Sydney.
He’s not wrong. NCIS, now at 20 US seasons, has been a ratings blockbuster for CBS, spawning offshoots NCIS: LA, NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Hawaii.
Time for a little perspective from the other side of the Pacific which, according to Lasance, splashes Sydney Harbour across the screen.
“Our HQ is literally on Sydney Harbour… we open the doors and look to the right and the Harbour Bridge is above us.
“I know people say it’s priceless but you can’t put a price tag on that kind of view. Then we’re shooting with the Australian Navy on their bases, on the aircraft carriers. We were in the Seahawk helicopters, on the battleships, on the base with Navy personnel.”
Indeed the new series by Endemol Shine Australia lets the boys and girls play with big toys all in the name of naval investigation and security down under.
“We used the Rural Fire Fire Brigade HQ command (which they use for) a statewide bushfire operational command. It looks like a war room and we had 150 Naval crew in there,” Lasance continues.
“Stepping onto these bases, we all had to get clearances and go through the security checks. It was next level!
“This is actually happening!”
“I remember one shot in particular. Mackey (Olivia Swann) and I are flying the chopper and we’re on the deck of this gi-normous aircraft carrier. We’re in a Seahawk helicopter and we look over to the left and there’s the Harbour Bridge in the distance and we’re like, ‘This is actually happening!’ A chopper roars in on top of the carrier, everyone’s got their gear on, helmets for sound protection. Standing under the helicopter when it was 20 metres above the ground and the blades are nearly knocking you on your face… it’s awesome. They haven’t held back.”
Lasance, whose credits include Without Remorse, Spartacus: War of the Damned, True Spirit, Rescue: Special Ops, The Secrets She Keeps and Bite Club, plays AFP sergean Liaison Officer Sergeant Jim ‘JD’ Dempsey, thrown together with Former Marine Corps Captain turned NCIS Special Agent Mackey (Olivia Swann) when an American Submariner dies during a ceremony, marking the AUKUS agreement.
“We’ve got two sides clashing and that creates the friction”
But it’s not a welcome partnering, which differs from the unity that often exists in procedural investigation teams.
“Usually it’s ‘here’s your family and we’re gonna go on the journey’, whereas we’ve got two sides clashing and that creates the friction,” he continues.
“We’ve got those elements where we butt heads and keep each other on our toes. There’s also these beautiful, vulnerable moments and emotional elements peppered throughout the series. We get a bit of an insight into why they are the way they are. They save each other’s lives and rely on each other as well. So it’s the best dynamic, and the cast, I swear to you, is one of the greatest casts I have ever worked with. It’s like I have extended my own family.”
The crew also comprises AFP Constable Evie Cooper (Tuuli Narkle), Special Agent DeShawn Jackson (Sean Sagar), Forensic Pathologist Doctor Roy Penrose (William McInnes) and young Forensic Scientist Bluebird “Blue” Gleeson (Mavournee Hazel).
“He’s always paying her out, talking about ‘my jurisdiction'”
“JD is a dream role. He’s a country boy, the larrikin of the show. He’s kind of the comedic relief and the clash with Mackey, who comes in all business-like. She’s the maverick of the series and JD is breaking down her walls, and he ribs her all the time. He’s always paying her out, talking about ‘my jurisdiction,'” he explains.
“There’s cultural clashes between the Australianisms and the Americanisms and all that sort of stuff. But he grew up as a school teacher, and then ends up joining the AFP. He’s the head negotiator so he’s the leader. But obviously, the NCIS team is having to work side by side, to form a new kind of unit, which is a unique part of the show.”
Lasance also tackled all but one stunt in character.
“All the Spartacus training and the SEAL training I got to deal for Without Remorse and Black Site, comes into play. But I also like to do the stunts, because they get to use the shots. They don’t have to cut around those intense reactions. And then Liv who played Mackey kicks arse. She’s a weapon. She was stunt training, fire training, doing extracurricular stuff. She would finish on set, go straight to the stunt gym, do her fight training. We’re all hitting the gym, making sure we’re physically on point!”
“The enemy could be within”
In addition to the weekly crimes, creator Morgan O’Neill has woven in a further threat, if somewhat shrouded in mystery, across the 8 episodes.
“There’s an overarching enemy that could be embedded. So the enemy could be within. But there’s also an enemy that’s operating on a far bigger scale than what we realise. That’s the core of where our series goes and the finale episode heavily relates to my character too. It comes to a real head and the threat is on a huge scale,” he warns.
“If you’re really paying attention and you watch each episode, they start layering it in, and you start putting the dots together.”
After its World Premiere in Australia, NCIS: Sydney is fortunate enough to win a network screening on CBS next week. Are the writer / actor strikes to thank for this profile scheduling? Lasance isn’t sure but grateful for the exposure.
“All of our contracts are obviously local through MEAA, a local production company, through Paramount+ here. There was nothing relayed to us, initially, in the process. All of our deals are local and obviously, that’s why we had the SAG clearance when the strike happened,” he continues.
“The strike… in a weird way, it’s kind of helped NCIS: Sydney”
“The strike has reduced how much content is being put out, particularly on a global scale. So in a weird way, it’s kind of helped NCIS: Sydney and the franchise itself, because they’ve created an entire series that’s been allowed to shoot and continue production. I think it was us and the Game of Thrones spin-off in London.”
A second season will obviously depend on its performance in Australia and abroad, but Lasance is hopeful Australians will feel a sense of pride in having a local series elevated onto US network television. That may lead to more episodes and ultimately, more casting opportunities.
“It opens up those opportunities that you would never normally have access to. It allows you to pick and choose a little bit more and go after the roles that you really want to go for… it’s all about the heat…. but when you don’t have the heat, it’s a bit of politics that goes into the castings. You can miss out on jobs because you don’t have the profile at the time,” he says.
“I feel the pressure”
Lasance adds, “There’s such a massive following for NCIS, but I feel the pressure. I hope that they love the new series but the Australian audience is tough to win over sometimes. So I hope they’ve got a sense of pride to it. It’s shot here… local production, all local crews, Australian directors. Olivia and Shaun are from the UK, but everyone else’s Aussie on board.
“So we’re hoping that Australia then gets behind it.”
NCIS: Sydney premieres Friday on Paramount+

Here is a recent Article from “The Manila Times” talking about how the deployment of Troops, Equipment and Weapons by the United States (US) in the Philippines could make our Country not only a Target of Conventional Weapons from China, but Nuclear Weapons as well.
You can find the Link to the Article below, meanwhile here are some Excerpts from it:
“Under the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) Strategy, as explained by Air Force Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach, Commander of US Indo-Pacific Air Assets from India to Hawaii, a Month after Marcos granted nine EDCA Sites, the ACE Strategy is "to have Jets spread out over many, many Islands [so as] to make the targeting Problem for the Adversary more difficult — it makes them use more Munitions."”
“Added the National Defense Website, paraphrasing Wilsbach: "Instead of trying to make Facilities withstand attacks from Precision Munitions, the Goal of [ACE] is to develop a Hub and Spoke Network of small Bases and Facilities so if one gets hit, the losses are small"”
“And Washington has no Resources and time to erect defenses for all Bases since Guam alone requires $1.7 billion and several years of construction to counter China's 500 Medium-Range Projectiles and thousands of Cruise Missiles, Drones and Warplanes, plus Cyberwarfare ("The Plan to Defend Guam from Missile Threats Is Years from Completion ). And our Bases are much closer to China than Guam is and far more vulnerable to many more PLA Weapons.”
“There's more. America's current Military Chief, Air Force Gen. Charles "CQ" Brown, has long sought to position Ground-based Intermediate-Range Missiles (GBIRMs) in Asia. As then-Air Force chief in 2020, he commissioned Think-Tank RAND Corp. to assess whether or not US Treaty Allies — Australia, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Thailand — would allow GBIRMs on their Soil.”
“"IndoPacom hopes to disperse US forces, including marine and army units, along the first island chain running from Japan through Southeast Asia. In a contingency, these small, mobile teams would support US air and naval operations and hold Chinese vessels at risk with ground-based missile units. … the Philippines is the only country in Southeast Asia that might realistically host such assets. So, these plans require saving the VFA (Visiting Forces Agreement) and implementing EDCA"”
“During hostilities, the choice for PLA Generals would then be to expend hundreds of Rockets, Drones and Aircraft in repeated Sorties against Missile Systems and Airfields here supporting America, which are constantly repaired after every bombing — or to take out dozens of those Threats with just one Volley of Atomic Weapons, saving ordnance for Naval and Air Battles and rendering Targets irreparable due to radioactivity.”

US Marine Corps MQ-9A Reapers Begin Strategic Deployment to Philippines Amid Rising South China Sea Tensions
The U.S. Marine Corps has commenced the deployment of MQ-9A Reaper drones to the Philippines. Operating from Basa Air Base, these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) mark a new phase in the cooperative defense efforts between the U.S. and the Philippines, particularly in the context of increasing Chinese assertiveness in the South China Sea. The deployment, confirmed by the I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF), comes at the behest of Manila and serves to enhance intelligence-sharing operations under the auspices of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. USNI News reported that the Marine Corps will employ unarmed MQ-9As to provide reconnaissance and surveillance in support of the development of intelligence sharing between the U.S. and our Philippine allies and in accordance with Philippine national laws, rules, and regulations. While the MQ-9As are temporarily stationed in the Philippines, adhering to the country’s 1987 constitution that forbids permanent foreign military bases, the rotational deployment is allowed under the 2014 Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA). This agreement facilitates the ongoing presence of U.S. military assets on a rotational basis, enabling joint operations and infrastructure upgrades. The MQ-9A Reapers, initially stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, achieved initial operational capability last summer with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3 (VMU-3). This deployment to the Philippines represents their first overseas mission, highlighting their role in supporting maritime domain awareness and surveillance activities, especially in contested regions such as the South China Sea. #military #defense #defence #militaryleak #Philippine #usmc #marinecorps

Hello! For oc questions ❤️
1, 5 and 6!
Hi pele! Than you for the ask! And for that, I will only answer with Tiala and Kanoa since these two are my first two COD OCs that I’ve created and they are my FAVORITE. So I’ll answer your question about these two!
For number 1: “How many different places have they lived?”
To tell you this before I started answering. I have updated these two info of where they lived. They use to live in American Samoa but ever since they grew up and signed up for the military. The two moved into Hawaii. So they can stay close to where the marine corps bases are at. Where is the base you may ask? Well, it’s in Kaneohe Bay. So where they lived to get close to that base? They lived somewhere in Kahaluu, Hawaii. Near the beach.
Number 5: “Have they ever cheated on anyone before?”
In a relationship? Oh no no no. They didn’t! They would NEVER! In fact, Kanoa hadn’t even DATED one ever since! He tried his luck but kept failing of getting a girl to fall for him.
For Tiala, she…use to be in a relationship but it doesn’t ended well for her. So she never dated ever since that day.
And even IF these two cheated on their own lovers. Their mother will get her shoes and WHACKED their stupid heads. Because she KNOWS she would never raised her children to be a CHEATER. (Trust me, her husband KNOWS👀)
And now for number 6: “Have they ever been cheated on?”
For Kanoa, no. For he is STILL single. With NO luck to have ANY woman in the WORLD! The poor fella. He has the rizz but not enough rizz to get a woman😞
Ok! Remember on number 5 that she USE to be in a relationship? Well, it didn’t go well for that boy she use to date in high school. Had cheated on her with another girl for her POPULARITY in school. Which it really hurts Tiala so much. And don’t worry, her older BROTHERS had taken care of that.
So yeah! That’s about it! If you want to know MORE about my favorite sibling duo OCs! Just go ahead and asked! And thank you for the ask, mutantthedark! Appreciate it!

Map shows #Chinese owned farmland next to 19 US military bases in ‘alarming’ threat to national security:
experts China has been buying up strategically placed farmland next to military installations across the US, raising national security fears over potential espionage or even sabotage.
The NY Post has identified 19 bases across the US from Florida to Hawaii which are in close proximity to land bought up by Chinese entities and could be exploited by spies working for the communist nation.
They include some of the military’s most strategically important bases:
Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) in Fayetteville, North Carolina;
Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) in Killeen, Texas;
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California,
and MacDill air force base in Tampa, Florida.
Robert S. Spalding III, a retired United States Air Force brigadier general whose work focuses US-China relations told The Post:
“It is concerning due to the proximity to strategic locations.
“These locations can be used to set up intelligence collection sites and the owners can be influential in local politics as we have seen in the past,” he added.
“It is alarming we do not have laws on the books that would prevent the Chinese from buying property in the US.” Under the guise of farming, the Chinese landowners could set up reconnaissance sights, install tracking technology, use radar and infra-red scanning to view bases or attempt to fly drones over them as ways to surveil military sites, sources told The Post.
A report in the Wall Street Journal
from September 2023 found Chinese intruders attempted to breach military facilities over 100 times in recent years, including sneaking onto a missile range in New Mexico
and scuba divers spotted near a government rocket-launch site in Florida.

Hunt Military Communities Kicks Off Electric Vehicle Charging Pilot Program
Tumblr media
In response to the growing need for EV infrastructure among residents of military housing, Hunt Military Communities (HMC), a pioneer in the field of military housing, has partnered with TRO Energy Solutions, Inc. (TROES) to launch an electric vehicle (EV) charging pilot program. The Office of the Secretary of Defense's sustainability goals are in line with this program, which offers in-home Level-2 EV charging and was first implemented across four military facilities.
The main objectives are to fulfill the increasing demand for EV infrastructure and to get ready for the predicted spike in EV sales. The initiative was started in response to HMC's dedication to sustainability and the Defense Department's push to reduce carbon emissions on military facilities by increasing the use of electric vehicles.
Barksdale Air Force Base, Fort Sam Houston, Joint Base Pearl-Harbor Hickam, and Marine Corps Base Hawaii are among the original pilot destinations. HMC hopes to establish a standard for military housing operators in the US by launching a comprehensive residential EV charging solution, demonstrating its progressive vision for developing sustainable communities.
