I had no memory of a post like this but was like it vaguely sounds like something I might say so I'll see if I can find it. Tumblr's search function was useless as always so I tried to ctrl+f in mass post editor but nothing showed until I'd loaded more posts. the good thing about adhd however is that i’ll forget i have certain things so like for instance i collected hemlock needles (FROM THE TREE CALLED EASTERN HEMLOCK, ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH DEADLY FLOWERS) to dry for tea and like. i found that container. i collected them in april 2018. they are perfectly dry, and just. the just. FWOOSH. of fragrance you get when you open the container. is SO nice i absolutely love it <3

Silver and Flint, shark hunting.

Black Sails season 3 inspired ceramics. Originally this was supposed to be some sort of a wind chime but in the end I decided to attach them onto an old wooden board instead. I took several pictures but couldn’t decide which lighting was the best, so here’s a few versions. :)

#sharks #shark date #silverflint #this is like the third or fourth thing I have made of 'the shark date'#lol #my experiments #the pics are bit blurry tho :/ oh well #I reall should've worked a bit more on their faces but whatever xD #it was not meant for close viewing when I made this #originally I planned this as a wind chime or mobile #and there was a third shark but it lost it's fin and looked more like a dead manatee #I might make another one to replace it someday or maybe have only one shark here idk #the boat looked like it was floating in air so I tied a thread to symbolise the water's surface and the horizon #I wish I had some drift wood but luckily I got these old planks from an almost collapsed barn when I visited home #we have an old ceramic oven at home and my sister uses it nowadays so I had the opportunity to do these
