There's an obscure and criminally underrated anime based on the children's book "You're Umasou" which follows a young tyrannosaurus unwittingly adopting a newborn ankylosaurus and having to raise him. This film deserves more attention.

A lone pentaceratops charges through the rain and fog at a suspicious sound in a nearby clearing. Without the protection of a herd the lone male flashes a deimatic display on his frill in an attempt to frighten off the would be attacker.

This Fossil Friday, meet the Museum’s mummified hadrosaur—one of the most complete pieces of Mesozoic dinosaur remains ever found! This fossil represents one of the greatest discoveries in the history of paleontology: a rare glimpse at the texture of dinosaur skin. Like the skin on modern birds’ feet, this duck-billed dinosaur’s skin was marked by bumps called tubercles. The tubercles are larger along the animal’s back and sides and smaller around the joints, which needed to be flexible.

Lucky Find

A Tyrannosaurus finds the recently deceased body of an Edmontosaurus slumped into a creek in the forest. Around them are a softshell turtle, a salamander, a dragonfly, an enantiornithine bird and two small arboreal mammals fighting each other.

Meet “the sheep of the Mesozoic,” Protoceratops andrewsi. This herbivore was a very common animal and is remarkably well-represented in the fossil record.

VERY rough sketch for a potential story concept: a 'knight slaying dragon' tale set in the Cretaceous period. Silverfeather, a Deinonychus, lives in a lush valley where a giant pterosaur that claims the sun god's incarnation demands tribute in the form of young and prey. She goes on a quest to slay the dragon after her mate and chicks are killed by him. Along the way she meets all sorts of interesting characters.

The tone is that of a dark, mystical fantasy, inspired by stuff like The Secret of NIMH, Warrior Cats, Berserk, and Primal.
