Nadab & Abihu, Annanias & Sapphira
written by Will Schumacher
I was listening to a podcast of Aleph Beta on the death of Nadab and Abihu. Rabbi David Fohrmann spoke of how the language of the story of the death of Nadab and Abihu was the same language used in the sin of Adam and Eve.
As a reminder, Nadab and Abihu are the sons of the first high priest Aaron. The tabernacle has just been erected and it is the beginning of the priesthood working in the tabernacle. Nadab and Abihu offered a strange offering that God did not command and they are killed on the spot.
Leviticus 10: 1-2 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he commanded them not. 2 And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.
This instantly made me think of the New Testament story of Annanias and Sapphira. They too died instantly when they brought a “strange”/sinful offering to God. Read Acts 10.
I believe these stories replicate each other and show the same message. My assumption was then that the stories are numerically linked by the numbers within the Bible.
The stories are linked by numbers. Strong’s G4551 = Sapphira. This is Bible verse 4551…
Numbers 26:61 And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the Lord.
Adam and Eve dwelled with God and they sinned and spiritually died and were kicked out.
The tabernacle was God’s way to dwell again with His people. Right at the beginning of the tabernacle time Nadab and Abihu sinned in their offering and died and were carried out.
In the New Testament the Church is likened to the tabernacle and temple. We are called the living stones. God is dwelling in us now. Acts 2 shows the Holy Spirit descending on the early church and the start of the 3rd temple. Right at the beginning again Annanias and Sapphira offer a sinful offering and they die and are carried out.
Sapphira is the name and number linking the two stories. It means “sapphire” and comes from Strong’s H5601 used a few times with the image of God on His throne. That image is important I believe in understanding the message God is trying to get across. It’s first use is in Exodus 24:10.
Exodus 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Notice who was there to see God enthroned over the sapphire floor, Nadab and Abihu.
Exodus 24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
Through the work of Christ we are free to dwell with God again, only because His death made us pure before the eyes of God. We should never lose sight of God’s pureness and majesty and our desire should be to be more like Him.

The Study of Hebrews: Its Origin, Story, and Life
“Hebrew”, Is it a what? A who? Or everything in between? “Hebrews” can refer to several different things, so I’ll try to provide a brief overview of a few of them: The Hebrews as a people: The Hebrews are an ethnic group with a long history. They trace their ancestry back to Abraham, who is considered the father of the Hebrews in the Bible. The Hebrews are also sometimes referred to as the…

i go to a tiny little boomer church, so the fact that we have memes in our bible study group is already funny but the most frequently referenced one is from a video we watched once, we were studying the trinity and looking up old testament references to it and one of the ladies found a discussion between 2 messianic Jewish hebrew scholars, and it was clearly aimed at hebrew speaking jews so a lot of it went over our heads, but every time one of the guys would present an argument the other was like "it's very clear if you read the hebrew"
so now any time we come across something weird or at all hard to understand, without fail someone chimes in "it's very clear if you read the hebrew" and i love it lol

Hunter Schafer "protesting" with JVP is the same energy as celebrities shilling for Autism $peaks.
Just like the celebs that don't care that they're platforming a literal eugenics organization, Hunter doesn't care that she's supporting a Messianic organization that is an antisemitic hate-group.
She is supporting an organization run by goys that engages in blood libel, attacks Jews at our synagogues, and spreads dangerous antisemitic conspiracy theories.
She is supporting an organization that engages in cultural appropriation, dresses goys in kippot and encourages them to larp as Jews, and tells goys that they can "self-convert" to Judaism (which is a flat out lie -- converting to Judaism requires years of study under several rabbis, convening a Beit Din, and immersing in a mikvah).
She is supporting an organization that claims it is a "Jewish Voice for Peace" but whose members are mostly non-Jews. The few Jewish members have tokenized themselves for goyishe approval and social media clout. And they are not a voice for "peace" because all they do is attack the Jewish community.
She is supporting a fucking DEPRAVED organization that says that VIOLENT RAPE, TORTURE, AND MURDER is "resistance," so long as the people being raped, tortured, and murdered are Jews.
JVP is neither "Jewish" nor "peaceful."
Hunter is the daughter of a Presbyterian pastor. She is a Christian. And yet, she has just "pretended" to be Jewish for a day. Did she make it clear that she's not a Jew when she got her photo-op with "Jewish Voice for Peace"? No. She did not. She has culturally appropriated Judaism for a fucking publicity stunt.
Hunter Schafer has just shown that she doesn't give a SHIT about Jews.
Hunter, I hope selling your humanity was worth the social media clout.

Water Into Wine
written by Will Schumacher
One of my last posts I stated that the “second” miracle, as John called it, is a type of what Jesus will do at His second coming and the “first” miracle, as John called it, is a type of what Jesus did at His first coming. The “first” miracle is Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding at Cana.  And it isn’t just any wine, it is “good” wine -
John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
New wine in the Old Testament is symbolic of the Messiah and the Holy Spirit:
Joel 3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
In the New Testament the Holy Spirit is likened to drinking wine:
Acts 2:15-17 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
The narrative of the miracle begins with Mary telling Jesus they need wine and Jesus replied his “hour” is not yet come:
John 2:3-4 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
Jesus “hour” is His death and resurrection: Matthew 26:45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
The wedding was taking place at Cana. Strong’s G2580 = ”Cana” and comes from Strongs H7069 =”buy” “possess” “purchase”. Jesus purchased us with His blood:
1 Corinthains 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
Strong’s H7071 =”kanah” (from H7069 =”buy”) is a river in the Old Testament. It is the dividing line between Manasseh and Ephraim. Manasseh and Ephraim are the children of Joseph born in Egypt after he is raised from the prison and put as second in charge under pharoah.  He is a type of Christ at His first coming raised from the dead and sits at the right hand of the Father. Manasseh the firstborn is a type of the Jewish church born by the Spirit (good wine) at Pentecost.  Ephraim is a type of the gentile church born later by the Spirit (good wine).  Jacob takes Joseph’s children as His own, Joseph thus receives the double portion birthright. Water is symbolic of the word of God because it is essential to life.  Jesus took the water, the word of God, and made it sweet wine.  Jesus constantly judged the religious rulers of the day for taking God’s word and adding their own rules and regulations to it.  It was a burden no one could carry.  It became about the rules and regulations and not about God.
Matthew 23:23-27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
Jesus was the living Word of God.  He showed us how it is to be lived out through grace and truth.  He then out of love for us became the penalty for sin so that we are no longer under the penalty of the law.  He conquered death.  He then gave us the Holy Spirit to write the laws on our hearts so that we do them out of love for God.  Jesus turned water into sweet wine through His death, resurrection, and giving of the Spirit. There is one other part to this I believe though.  There were 6 waterpots of the good wine given to the governor of the feast:
John 2:6-10 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
The governor of the feast is the Father. The number 6 (for the waterpots) represents a physical completion lacking the spiritual though.  Man and creation were completed in 6 days, but the 7th day needed to be set apart (made holy) for the week to be complete. Jesus fulfilled the 3 spring feasts.  He was the Passover lamb for the Feast of Passover.  He was without sin, so He was the unleavened bread for the feast of unleavened bread. The final spring feast is Firstfruits. The spring feasts are about the barley harvest.  The firstfruits sheaf of barley had to be brought to the priest and waved before the Lord before the barley harvest can begin.  Once it is offered the barley harvest can start:
Leviticus 23:10-11 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Jesus is called the firsfruits of “them that slept”- 1 Corinthians 15:20-21 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
So Jesus fulfilled firstfruits by being that barley sheaf lifted up and waved (raised from the dead) before God. Once this first barley sheaf was offered to God the barley harvest began.  There was a “barley harvest” at Christ resurrection:
Matthew 27:52-53 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
The 6 stone waterpots of water that Jesus turned into good wine that were presented to and inspected by the governor of the feast/Father is the work Jesus did through His death and resurrection.  The barley wave sheaf was inspected and accepted.  Jesus physical death (symbolized by the number 6) resulted in a spiritual perfection (symbolized by the number 7). Let me show you a few interesting numerical connections that seem to support this. Jesus was declared risen for the first time in Matthew.  This verse has a gematria of 7159:
Matthew 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Strong’s H7159 =”cover” is used twice in the Old Testament in Ezekiel 37 speaking of the at the time a physical and spiritual restoration/resurrection of Israel.  Jesus’ “new wine” is the beginning of this fulfillment:
Ezekiel 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. Ezekiel 37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. The very next verse has a gematria of 3631.  Strong’s G3631=”wine” as in the new wine of Jesus.  The Hebrew word for “wind” is the same word for “Spirit”:
Ezekiel 37:9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Matthew 28:6 is the verse where Jesus is risen.  It is verse 24202.  John 2:10 is the verse that the governor of the feast/Father calls the wine “good wine” and that the best was saved for last.  It is verse 26106. The verse jump is 1904 (26106 - 24202). Strong’s G1904 =”come”  It is used in Acts where Jesus is about to ascend but tells His disciples the Holy Spirit will come to them:
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

CW for gore and suicidal ideation (TriMax Vol. 7) also Spoiler warning!
EDIT: I am a drama queen and just assume a lot of Trimax readers misinterpreted this scene bc I saw like only two people do it but I’m also using this as an excuse to yap about Vash and Knives’ personalities bc it was super interesting in this volume ok byyeee read on:
Is it just me or is the majority of the fandom under the impression that it was Knives who stabbed Rem?? Because it was actually Vash. Which I think says a lot about their actual personalities vs how the fandom perceives them.
Analysis under the cut!
In classic Nightow fashion, it's hard to figure out wtf is going on and you gotta read over it multiple times, but look:
Tumblr media
After the discovery of Tesla, Knives faints and is placed in a little incubator thing or whatever and Vash laments the fact he remained awake to mull over the horrors. From this point on, Knives is not in the picture bc he's busy honk mimimi (which is actually something he employs as a coping mechanism throughout the story... his precious beauty sleep...)
Tumblr media
Now, Vash is refusing to eat and lashes out at Rem, expressing his disdain for being stuck on a spaceship with all these nasty humans.
Rem once again tries to get Vash to eat, peeling him a fruit.
Tumblr media
Vash lunges for the knife and attempts to stab himself, but Rem stops him.
Tumblr media
Vash is locked in a reactive state - he's in shock and acting out. This is where I think ppl miss the mark in interpreting the twins and why Vol. 7 is so important.
Vash can actually be nasty as hell. He ain't all that babygirl. His silly goofy facade is a way of integrating himself into the human world sure - but it's also lying to himself. He's impulsive, stubborn, and dare I say arrogant with his Messianic martyr type shit. (EDIT: I’m being a bit harsh here… I mean yeah he’s the only person on Gunsmoke who’s got a chance against Knives but like getting up in townspeople’s business gets really annoying imo like I understand why he does it but man…that’s why we’ve got Wolfwood bc narrative foil and whatever… anyway)
Knives on the other hand, internalises everything. Though he may appear to be the one who lashes out, and yes of course he's also arrogant, but it's mostly projection. He is in a MAD state of denial. For all his talk of being a superior being, that humans are icky and should all perish, yada yada yada, he actually wishes for love and acceptance - he wants to be safe.
Obviously, his head is too far up his ass to admit it, and he's always too busy tweaking about how annoying Vash is and blaming Rem for everything to actually try and sit down and think of better ways to do things but ANYWAY
(You know who else's head is up their ass? Vash. The twins are actually so alike if you really study them!! Anywayyyy)
That was Knives' whole deal from THE VERY BEGINNING. Knives was the one to cry in relief when Conrad and the crew accepted them, not Vash. Vash was more like "ok cool! life might not be so bad! yipee!" and then Knives had to Big Fall about his internalised plantphobia or whatever etc etc.
I AM GETTING SIDETRACKED !! ok so
Tumblr media
The stabbing occurs. Again, hard to tell it's actually occurring bc Nightow, but yeah Vash stabbed Rem. Not Knives! Bro has passed out for a couple days now lol.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
More evidence it's Vash - Vash was the one to express feeling suicidal. Knives cannot express anything to save his life bc he's the king of internalisation and deflection and projection lmao. Also yeah he's still eeping.
Tumblr media
Oh look! He rises! Completely unaware of the drama that has unfolded! Not that he'd care! He's set on a mission to hurl humanity to the dust bowl of Gunsmoke! Little scamp.
Ok take from all that what you will!
Thanks for reading <3

‭‭2 Timothy 3:14-17 (NIV)‬‬. “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
‭‭Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)‬‬. “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
“The Question of Inerrancy” by In Touch Ministries:
“Do you believe that all of the Bible is true?”
“Have you ever wondered about the supposed inconsistencies critics point out in the Bible? Such things might leave you questioning how to tell what’s truly God’s Word and what isn’t. The answer is simple: God is the final authority. The Sovereign of the universe had no trouble keeping His Word pure. As 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial.”
Reading the Bible as a whole document reveals that each part is consistent with every other. God allowed for writers’ differences in viewpoint and background, which at times can give the appearance of discrepancy. But further study always reveals how the various parts fit together. Consider, for example, the gospels’ different angles on a story. Writing to Jewish people, Matthew emphasizes history and the fulfillment of messianic prophecy. John tells a love story about a Savior willing to die for the world. While both authors traveled in Jesus’ company, their perspectives differed. Yet in the fundamentals, they and the other two writers are consistent.
It is critical for believers to trust in the inerrancy of the Scriptures. A flawed book could only be the product of man’s hand, but the Bible is the authoritative Word of God. His Spirit did the talking, no matter whose hand wrote the message.”

I like scrolling through your posts and just kinda relaxing here like a fat, well fed cat napping in the most perfect sun beam. Reading and then rereading your stories (particularly the fae!Price cause I’ve got a major lady boner for that man in both my pants and my heart) is all I need to stay warm!!!!
Also I was wondering if you could expand and or explain what fae!price is??? Like you’ve given him titles and witch recognizes his name and immediately spouts off a few of his aliases. He’s like ultra powerful and old and the hints to it make me want to study him like I did greek mythology!!!!
"You knew it. John the conqueror, the morning's glory, the Highest exalted, remover of obstacles, dominator of will."
Is what I assume you're referring to, and it's not actually a recognition of his name. "John Price" cannot be a known name or he'd lose the power behind it. What Witch is describing are both her associations with Price and her associations with the name "John". Morning Glory (the flower) is known as High John the Conqueror in some witchcraft practices, and it's properties include removing obstacles and dominating will. Both things that Witch associates with Price. He removes the obstacles in his path through sheer force of will, and through his deals he dominates the people he holds tethers for. "The highest exalted" is a reference to Saint John the Baptist. Interpret that as you like but for Witch she's comparing Price to a messianic figure, someone to be worshipped but also someone who will help her grow into her magic.
I've said before that Price's archetype is the devil. He's got all the charm and power, he's made to be tempting, to make you trust him. Price is a very traditional fae in that sense. He's the fairy tale, the warning to stay on the path lest the devil find you. I think of him as a fae that used to have huge black crow's wings, before he gave them up he might have been mistaken for Lucifer, but now he just gets jealous of Witch's affinity for crows and wishes she'd give him the same preening and attention. He is very very old, rivaling König I would bet, but he won't tell you if you ask.

masterlist of episodes featuring prof duncan? I only JUST made the connection that he's played by john oliver
fantastic idea anon. I’m honestly surprised I haven't made this list yet as I am an avid duncan enjoyer lmfao and yes john oliver is great. so I’ll make the list right now. here we go:
the feat. professor duncan episode masterlist
1x01: pilot
he is the reason jeff chose to enroll at greendale
he has multiple interactions with jeff throughout the episode
1x04: social psychology
annie, troy, and abed participate in his psychological experiment in which he proves the existence of "the duncan principle"
1x05: advanced criminal law
duncan, dean pelton, and chang create "greendale court" in order to put britta's alleged academic dishonesty on trial
1x25: pascal's triangle revisited
first shown doing a therapy session with britta
constantly fighting with chang, escalating into chang punching him at the end
does his iconic rap after he gets drunk at the transfer dance
2x03: the psychology of letting go
takes over as the anthropology professor despite knowing nothing about the subject
uses the restraining order he got against chang to torment him
has a few conversations with jeff about the inevitability of death
is civil with chang by the end of the episode
2x05: messianic myths and ancient peoples
exclusively shown "teaching" the anthropology 101 class
2x11: abed's uncontrollable christmas
leads abed's "therapy" session but is generally unhelpful
2x12: asian population studies
again, just shown "teaching" anthropology 101
2x15: early 21st century romanticism
watches the liverpool vs. manchester united football game with jeff at jeff's apartment
has conversations with jeff about friendship and greendale etc.
2x21: paradigms of human memory
appears very briefly in a flashback to the events of "abed's uncontrollable christmas"
2x22: applied anthropology and culinary arts
is shown again at the head of the anthropology class, this time "administering their final" (getting drunk) but disappears very quickly as soon as the dean walks in
5x03: basic intergluteal numismatics
"helps" with the psychological aspect of the ass crack bandit investigation
(you might notice he is not in seasons 3 or 4. irl it's because he got too busy with his other projects, but in the show his character explains that he was "taking care of his sick mother")
5x05: geothermal escapism
shown briefly playing the floor is lava game, but loses very quickly after jeff knocks over the chair that he was going to jump on while chasing britta
5x06: analysis of cork-based networking
shown as a member of the save greendale committee
helps jeff, shirley, and chang choose a theme and decorate for the dance (bear down for midterms)
5x07: bondage and beta male sexuality
asks jeff to help him scheme a way into getting a date with britta, which ends up backfiring
ends up hanging out a lot with jeff. this episode re-establishes that the two of them have known each other longer than any of the other characters
5x11: g.i. jeff
appears briefly only in jeff's animated dream, as "xim xam"
(so, I guess it's not technically duncan, but it's jeff's g.i. joe dream version of duncan, so I’m counting it)
5x12: basic story
appears again as a member of the save greendale committee
5x13: basic sandwich
tries to help the save greendale committee uncover the hidden computer school but gets electrocuted lmfao
alright yep. that should be all. I personally went through the credits of every single episode to double check everything because I do not trust the lists that are already online tbh. full of discrepancies smh. also, yeah, he is indeed not in seasons 3, 4, or 6. anyway! hope this is helpful. duncan is hilarious and every single line that comes out of his mouth is comedy gold. bye

Zionism is a complicated definition.
I am a Zionist if you define it by Jewish self determination, and support of a Jewish state in the land of Israel, than yes I am one.
If you define it by supporting the Israeli government and the IDF, than no I am not.

But please don’t put your two cents into anything that is just focused on Judaism, as a girl who grew up trapped in messianism, I don’t even feel comfortable giving my two cents, so please as someone with limited knowledge of the Jewish community, don’t give your opinions.
