"Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories -- Tides of Terror" Pits Kit Fisto Against Sea Creatures
Kit Fisto stars in new Star Wars Hyperspace Stories -- Tides of Terror from writer George Mann, artist Lius Morocho, inker Le Beau Underwood, colorist Michael Atiyeh, and letterer Comicraft.
Jedi Master Kit Fisto has been sent to the ocean planet Tordus, alongside Mace Windu and Shaak Ti, to investigate a controversial underwater research facility. The facility is in danger of flooding and being crushed into rubble, and if that’s not enough, there are giant monsters circling them. With disaster looming, his diplomatic excursion quickly becomes a rescue mission! Kit Fisto and his fellow Jedi must race against the clock to save innocent lives from the hungry leviathans that fill the depths." (Dark Horse)
Star Wars Hyperspace Stories -- Tides of Terror #1 (of 4) goes on sale on July 16, 2025. The first issue sports a main cover for Eduardo Mello and variant covers by Pius Bak, Edwin Gaimon, and Tony Fleecs.

there's a new The High Republic Adventures issue out and it's absolutely amazing, so much so that i have to go back to my Star Wars comics commentaries (SPOILERS FOR STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC ADVENTURES (2023) #7 UNDER THE CUT!!!)

aside from the obvious notion that Harvey Tolibao's art is stunning, look at how cute Zint is!!! also involving the Tarkin family in the story just because it takes place on Eriadu is so funny to me

Zint using her helmet as a stool is such a silly move. also I love the Aloxian lore and how Zint has Qort as a mentor to explain this to her

Crash Landing getting a follow-up (and before the next oneshot dedicated to them) WOOOOOHOOOO

this is so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mralisola are everything to me, getting to see their wedding would be amazing

the coloring on this issue is scrumptious I love comics thank you Michael Atiyeh (THE BROTHERS I NEVER HAD!!!!!)

Master Shko I am in love with you

the art on these panels is just captivating I can stare at it forever

PRONOUNS??? IN MY STAR WARS? LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO

so funny to me how both Lula and Zeen are like "oh I'm going to propose to her as soon as possible BUT WHAT IF SHE SAYS NO?" and Farzala and Qort have to reassure them without spoiling anything lmao

teeny tiny Zeen and Qort

Zint ily

this is actually fascinating to me because Krix's returning to the Nihil, with no knowledge of the last year+ bro is going to be confused

"The Bad Batch" Gets Solo Comic Series
Dark Horse and Lucasfilm Publishing have announced a Bad Batch solo comic miniseries. Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents is written by Michael Moreci and illustrated by Reese Hannigan, with Elisabetta D’Amico, Michael Atiyeh, and lettering by Comicraft.
The Bad Batch clones are said to have a 100% success rate, but this time they may have met their match. This time "they are on a mission to hunt down the mysterious Separatist ghost agent who executed a daring heist on Coruscant! The thief’s trail leads Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, and Tech to the seediest corners of the galaxy, a place where kingpins and thugs threaten the clones’ mission—and their lives!" (Dark Horse)
Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents #1 (of 5) goes on sale on January 15, 2025. Issues sport main covers by Valeria "Lux" Favoccia and variant covers by French Carlomagno.

One of my favorite aspects of the high Republic publishing initiative from Lucasfilm has been the comic miniseries that we have gotten over the last several years. With the release of Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures: Echoes of Fear # 1, were diving into another mystery to help solve/understand the Jedi problem known as the Nameless.
I loved when Reath Silas was introduced and he talked about how he loved being at the Jedi Temple in Coruscant doing research instead of being out in the field. It was such a stark contrast to what we’re used to with Jedi who crave adventure.
Unraveling the mystery surrounding the Nameless is going to be key to the final phase of the entire High Republic publishing initiative. I love that we are using knowledge for an ancient Jedi to get there.
The many different things that came together for them to learn about the echo stones in this book was great. It’s a story being told by a member of an extinct religion, about an ancient Sith Lord, that is recorded on one of the oldest holocrons in the Jedi Temple. 🤌 Perfect.
I’m very excited to see where the story goes in this miniseries. I love this aspect of the High Republic, and I can’t wait for more.

In the new miniseries, Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—Tides of Terror, fan-favorite Star Wars comics writer George Mann returns with a tale of aquatic intrigue perfect for readers of all ages. Featuring artist Luis Morocho, inker Le Beau Underwood, colorist Michael Atiyeh, and letters by Comicraft. Eduardo Mello is the main cover artist for the series, with variant covers for issue #1 provided by Pius Bak, Edwin Gaimon, and Tony Fleecs. The four-issue miniseries will make a splash beginning in July 2025. Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories—Tides of Terror: Jedi Master Kit Fisto has been sent to the ocean planet Tordus, alongside Mace Windu and Shaak Ti, to investigate a controversial underwater research facility. The facility is in danger of flooding and being crushed into rubble, and if that’s not enough, there are giant monsters circling them. With disaster looming, his diplomatic excursion quickly becomes a rescue mission! Kit Fisto and his fellow Jedi must race against the clock to save innocent lives from the hungry leviathans that fill the depths. This standalone story is full of murky intrigue and ancient abyssal nightmares. Can the Jedi fend off the danger lurking in the ocean's briny waters? “Following the success of The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents, we’re thrilled to see Dark Horse continue with their next Hyperspace Stories mini-series,” confirmed Lucasfilm creative director Michael Siglain. “Tides of Terror is part disaster story, part horror story, and all fun. It’s a race-against-time adventure in which the Jedi will face off against saboteurs and the sea creatures, and readers will learn to beware what lurks in the deep, dark ocean world of Tordus.” #KIT MACE AND SHAAK IN A FOUR ISSUE MINI TOGETHER #PART DISASTER PART HORROR STORY??? #GIVE IT TO ME NOW #THOSE ARE THREE OF MY FAVORITE JEDI #GIVE ME THE BLORBOEST OF BLORBOS NOW!!! #ALSO THAT COVER IS A BANGER #BUT I AM OWED A VARIANT COVER WITH SHAAK TI FOR HER NOT BEING ON THIS ONE
