Not for my main deltarune chapter 3 take but still a pretty fun idea i think:

Michael "Mike" Mouse, head of TV entertainment and heartless capitalist. He pulls the strings behind the whole industry!

I think ive seen this Mike=Mickey concept maybe two times at most, even though i think it's pretty cool, albeit quite silly. So i made this drawing. Yay.

supernatural (dean winchester, sam winchester (not soulless or lucifer sam though), castiel, lucifer, balthazar, bobby (platonic only for jack and charlie))

911 and 911 lone star (tk strand, carlos reyes, evan buckley, eddie diaz, paul strickland, christopher diaz (platonic only), chimney, hen, owen strand)

house md (gregory house, james wilson, lisa cuddy and i can write foreman, chase and cameron but i can't promise it will be good. also im only on like season 5 so yeah.)

doctor who (any new who doctors and companions and friends tho coz im writing male reader bill, jenny and vastra will be platonic only coz otherwise that just feels weird also probably platonic for yaz and 13. also any masters because i love them and am obsessed with them)

hannibal (just hannibal and will coz im only on like the first season so it'll be based on vibes mostly)

star wars (like anyone basically just not palpatine and the creepy bad guys like the blue one or moff gideon. i am obsessed with clones and bounty hunters so yeah!)

batfam and dc (anyone basically coz ive got a pretty good grasp of most of their characters. if anyone requests the joker, i will probs mean like lego batman or the animated tv shows joker so the one who isn't an ass and is a bit gay. if they're lesbians, it will be platonic though.)

marvel (anyone like please just give me ideas of marvel stuff to write. i will need like a really good idea to be convinced to write for tony because he pisses me off sometimes. also team red and loki tv show are like my favs so i will write actual masterpieces for those)

requesting rules and information

hello all and welcome to my requesting rules and guidelines post! i wanted to put this information out there in a place that was easy to access and all up-to-date to make for a fun and safe space for everyone to enjoy!

as mentioned in my about me post, i am a uni student and so there may be periods of inactivity or when my requests are closed for longer than usual, but please do not be alarmed i will be returning and your posts will be answered. so with that in mind it would be very much apprciated if you could not spam my ask box with the same request over and over again, or chasing up a request; if it has been requested it will be on my list and i will get to it so long as it does not ask something of me which i have stated i will not be writing. HOWEVER if i am active and your request did not ask me to write anything i stated in my boundaries post that i would not write and it has been a while since you sent it in there is a chance that it may have gotten lost so it is okay if you send me a message or request it again!

if requests are closed i would appreciate it if you would refrain from sending any requests in as i will not see them and they may get lost if too many are sent in when i am away. this would also make it difficult for me to get on top of posting again when i return from my breaks! when requests are open or closed will be noted in my biography!!

HANGING OUT AT SMALL’S LIVE #25, 15-16 NOVEMBER 2022

JOE FARNSWORTH with Sarah Hanahan, Dave Kikoski, and Tyler Mitchell, SMALL’S JAZZ CLUB, 31 OCTOBER 2022, 1st set

FRANK LACY SEPTET, SMALL’S JAZZ CLUB, 2nd set

Having been in piano land for an extended period, I needed some rowdy horns and drive. JOE FARNSWORTH who makes a point of showcasing players in interesting comments brought Sarah Hanahan as part of a big quartet and FRANK LACY had a piano-less septet with two drummers and two bassists. He played fluegelhorn to go with a trombonist and reed man.

It is always time to swing with JOE FARNWORTH but he had others who play big so he untethered himself. Sarah Hanahan is a tenor player in spirit who uses an alto. She plays hard and with a growl, so, even in this context, the ballad showed a lyrical side that was fun to discover. But she was quite at home with the Giant Steps closer and the straightahead Blues for Dracula for Halloween. The set opened with Dave Kikoski floridly backing into Softly As In a Morning Sunrise which wasn’t all that softly done. He also took the fIrish solo on the Coltrane tune. He is often a bit much in duos and trios, but here he could go toe to toe with a strong band. And I think that makes Tyler Mitchell the real hero for playing with the requisite power to keep everyone in line but also with rich taste and tone. It was a swinging, blowing session and a good fit for my mood.

FRANK LACY is probably more interesting than good per se, so it rather fits that he is part of the Mingus Organization which, like the master in his own day, values individuality and vigor over mere raw talent in the service of an artistic vision. And as a bandleader, his regular gigs are eclectic experiments that, even if they don’t quite work, are striking. This time he had two basses, with Gianluca Renza with bowed work straddling the rhythm section and the horns with James Robbins playing, call it, jazz bass. Similarly, it seemed that Evan Sherman was doing the more regular drum part, far more than metronomic, but still familiar while Wen Ting Wu provided flavor a la Mickey Hart or Jaimoe to evoke the two drummer jam bands of my past. Brian Simontacchi, trombone, and Mike Lee, tenor and flute, played horn parts with Lacy that were at once head arrangements and tightly scripted. The closer was madcap marching band, there was some second line in there, sure, but maybe Ives too. Or maybe AACM as they included two Henry Threadgill tunes. Lacy’s own tunes were programmatic, including 1000 Years of Peace inspired by the Book of Revelations (yikes!). It was an exciting set, an experiment that worked.

HBO Max New Releases:. July 2021

LeBron James might be out of the NBA playoffs, but he’s still angling to be a big part of the summer entertainment season. That’s because HBO Max’s list of new releases for July 2021 is highlighted by a very special sequel.

Space Jam: A New Legacy premieres on July 16. will find LeBron teaming up with the Looney Tunes in a Warner Bros. IP-extravaganza. Can ‘Bron and the Looney Tunes beat the Goon Squad before Warner Bros.’ server steals LeBron “Bronny” Jr.’s soul (or something)? Let’s hope so. The two other major WB releases this month, No Sudden Move and Tom and Jerry in New York, both come to HBO Max on July 1.

HBO Max is also bringing some fun TV shows to its stream this month. The long-awaited Gossip Girl revival premieres on July 8. That will be followed by Mike White’s satirical limited series The White Lotus on July 11. Ronan Farrow’s excellent book Catch and Kill gets a docuseries adaptation on July 12.

July 1 will see the arrival of library titles like Planet of the Apes, Reservoir Dogs, and Scream. Recent hit Judas and the Black Messiah comes to HBO Max on that date as well. It’s a good month for geek TV with the Doctor Who 2020 Christmas Special (July 1), Nancy Drew season 2 (July 3), and Batwoman season 2 (July 27) all coming home to their streaming residence.
