SMG4 FRIENDSHIPS THAT I FEEL LIKE WOULD BE VERY REAL AND ALSO IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ME I KILL YOU

FightingMario54321 and Meggy- they were both cops and have penchant for fighting, what more do i have to say? they set up play dates between Loaf and Cube

Luigi and SMG0- they both are so chill, and they’d probably discuss gardening and their favorite teas and have little tea parties and talk abt how chaotic Mario and Fred are

Niles and Kaizo- both have felt betrayed by someone they care about, and they’re both the bad boy trope fr fr, would listen to rob zombie together

Mario, Fred, and Spudnick- they are all super chaotic and love running around and causing problems on purpose, they’re not allowed to hang out a lot since they destroy so much when they’re together, but once a year the guardians allow a play date

Tari and EpicYoshiFan- i’ve always thought EYF was bit quieter and shyer than the other recolors, so i think he and Tari would get long great, talking about music and video games and staying up way too late doing things

XboxGamer997 and Melony- they both have this sort of main character energy with X’s omen sense and Melony’s fierce deity side, i also think X gets pretty tired frequently so they’ll just have lil sleepovers :3

Ruffman8890 and Boopkins- they’re both very high energy, and RM would love to watch anime with Boopkins because i said so fuck you

Karen, Toad, and Peach- tired of Mario’s shit and definitely need a break, they go drinking together sometimes

Jeeves and Toadsworth- weird old men gang! i am specifically thinking abt the 2018 video where Jeeves and Toadsworth were hanging out, they definitely would discuss like the weather and what the princess has been up to and how the milk is selling fr fr

Shroomy and Swag- once again, i am referencing a Christmas special, the 2021 one to be exact, they love going demon hunting on the weekends and blowing things up

Whimpu and Tari- they both like doing quieter activities and nerdy shit, so they’d definitely play pokémon together, Whimpu is a nuzlock GOD

Enzo and The Villager- they both recovered after the christmas crazies episode (a lot of christmas episodes, you can tell they’re some of my favorites) and now The Villager directs a children’s TV show (seen in the 10 year anniversary movie) and Enzo runs a birthday supplies store in bloopersville (source: my brain) and they have the same parole officer, and no one really understands what they’ve been through so they’re pretty tight

SMG3, Xboxfan996, and OiramOiram12345- evil dopple gang! they’ve mostly mellowed out tho, and 96 and OO live in bloopersville but come by the internet graveyard sometimes to get a coffee and talk about what’s new with them

SMG4, SLG4, and Minion- THEY ARE A FAMILY YOUR HONOR AND YOU CAN RIP THIS FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS! Minion and SLG4 live in bloopersville, and since they’re all sorta related to SMG4, they’re like “yeah we’re family lol” so SMG4 sometimes shows up at bloopersville for their birthdays

Desti and Saiko- they would have been BESTIES you can’t change my mind, Desti would totally go to Saiko for help with asking out Meggy

MCGustavo and Bob- i can’t explain this but just trust me they’d be best friends they’d smoke together lol

Chris and Belle- they both want to smack the shit out of their former bosses (Sergeant Mark and SMG3, respectively), they both get a little tired of the chaos and just wanna talk to someone who’s also tired of it for once

Jub Jub, Frankie, and the Weegee doll- they play roblox together :D

Mario and Ruffman8890- they are both so chaotic and love running around and pissing off Toad lmaooo

Waluigi and Tari- after the whole T-pose virus thing, they both see each other at a rubber duck store and hit it off immediately, they love hanging out and playing with their ducks

Milk's a Tobi-Kadachi, hatched by Phil on his journey to investigate the pits that had been appearing recently. He's quite a mischievous lil guy, liking to steal people's things. Despite needing to be dry to be able to use his electrical abilities, his favourite places to be are very humid/wet places. Milk loves caves <3 He also likes watching caterpillars, he's incredibly fascinated by them.

As the oc of him came from me getting way too attached to him in my nuzlocke, he's also...technically dead? But also not? I decided he wasn't, but the death was also very important to the nuzlocke so...? Milk is in a Schrodinger's Cat situation here. What a special little critter he is!

They're from my xd nuzlocke. They were on my main team and really slapped people around with cosmic power, psychic, button pass.

His original trainer is Italian, who is dead...

So my xd save got corrupted. I traded a lot of my guys to emerald but some of them got deleted. One of them that was on corrupted file was my solrock and mac's brother NacToday. So now he has dead sibling trauma. Thanks, gamecube memory card.

He seems like he would drink his sorrows away but I also imagine he has a comically pitiful alcohol tolerance and would order milk at a bar. Also he has a wife, who is a hariyama named 1 Ply. Just a twink and their massive wife.

Also, I put him on my tomodachi life island and I put him in the cinema room.

the more ive read abt wuwa and its troubled development the more it just feels unfortunate how the game just. Actually couldve been sth more unique and standout if the devs were actually allowed to craft and stick to a more unique vision (like the sound + music theming couldve actually been sth amazing rather than sidelined flavor text) and given the time and resources needed to give it the polish it deserved but oh well. no use crying over milk spilled in the name of monetary interest of short sighted greedy execs and shitty management . at least i can stop fearing that this unoptimized mess is genuinely going to fuck up my GPU or something if i let it run without restarting for too long lmao

People generally complain about whitney's miltank cause its kinda infamous for being a brick wall. Typically you wont really have a fighting type pokemon, or even a decent fighting type move around the time you fight her, so you cant really "super-effective sweep" her like you could with the flying/bug gyms. It knows milk drink to heal HP, ontop of her actually being able to use potions/moomoo milk to heal aswell. She tends to spam Roll-out which can actually lead to full team wipes if she can land consecutive hits. And you cant even stall her out with ghost types, cause of its "scrappy" nature. If you're just playing standard pokemon its not a big deal, but if you're doing some kind of nuzlocke challenge, well, this is why she sucks lmao

Was Johto the gen that introduced abilities? It's been so long.

I've never tried a nuzlocke challenge so that never occurred to me, makes sense tho.

Alright gamers I'm gonna do something I've never done+commited to before. I'm going to play a nuzlocke of Pokemon X. Fennekin line don't fail me now...

Details about my Nuzlocke battle against Ghestis under the cut!!

Rex, 19, had defeated N without a problem.

With his team of Rocket (Serperior), Bwoink (Seismitoad), Fluffy (Zekrom), Alistair (Chandelure), Connor (Archeops), and Jojo (Bizzare Adventure-- I mean Conkeldurr), N's team was quickly beaten.

But he had no idea that he would have to fight Ghestis.

He was left scrambling to improvise a strategy on the spot. He got through Cofagrigus with help from Fluffy, though that had left the legendary poisoned and weakened.

Bouffalant was easily handled by Jojo, though she was now weakened as well. But so far things were going well!...

Then came Hydreigon.

Rex quickly devised a plan to chip away at it, but as he took in the dragon's power, at least three stages above all of his own Pokémon, he had a sinking feeling that this was where his adventure ended. Rex sent out Connor to hit it hard and fast with Acrobatics, but he had no idea the dark/dragon type knew surf. The wave crashed down on the Archeops, and he was engulfed.

Rex made a split second decision... He had to get Jojo healed and out to face this enemy. With a heavy conscience, he sent out Fluffy to sacrifice, so he could buy time to heal Jojo... But as he pulled out the bottle of milk, Fluffy thought in relief that the healing item was for them. The Zekrom snatched the bottle, gratefully gulping it down... Not realizing he was to be a sacrifice. Rex cried out in dismay, making Zekrom turn to him in surprise... and was instantly eliminated by Dragon Pulse.

In a panic, Rex sent out Jojo, all at once certain that this demon dragon had a counter for every single one of his pokemon. He healed Jojo, only for her to be severely injured again immediately after. Holding onto the desperate hope that one Hammer Arm would do the trick, Rex attempted to have Jojo attack... only for her to be killed as well, engulfed by flames, without landing a single hit.

Rex was seeing his adventure going down the drain now. He sent in Bwoink, and the Seismitoad managed to get in a Drain Punch, absorbing the dragon's energy to heal himself, bringing the behemoth to the brink of death in the process. It looked like Bwoink would survive another hit with this new burst of energy, but the Hydreigon saw this as a challenge, an poured its heart into a desperate attack. Bwoink was overwhelmed by a beam of draconic energy, and was gone.

He only had Alistair and Rocket left. Ghestis atill had three more Pokémon after his ace.

Now Rex was certain this was the end.

With the knowledge of the dragon knowing Surf and Fire Blast, he knew his last two Pokémon likely didn't stand a chance. All he could hope was that one of them was faster than the monstrosity that had killed four of their teammates.

Alistair went out first. Rex gave him the command to use Shadow Ball, hoping the ghost would be faster...

He wasn't.

But as the wave began to crash down around him, threatening to douse his flames permanently... All at once, they began to burn even brighter. The spirits of his teammates, refusing to let another friend die to this demon of a dragon, let their souls become the energy the ghostly chandelier needed to keep his flames burning, even as the water attempted to overwhelm him.

The moment the wave had passed, Alistair rose, flames burning brighter than they ever had before, and gathered all the ghostly energy he could into his attack.

The Hydreigon was slain.

As Ghestis sent out his own Seismitoad, Rex quickly sent in Rocket, still in shock that Alistair had not only survived, but had enough energy to kill the dragon, despite its resistance to ghostly attacks.

Rex healed Alistair while Rocket defended them, the regal snake taking a hit from the toad without fear. Rex turned with a smirk and commanded his first and most loyal companion to eliminate the threat, and with a flash of a green blade, the water/ground type was gone.

Thing is, wihh the Hydreigon gone, Rex had become too cocky. With how easily Seismitoad had been taken down, he thought the upcoming Eelectrik would be just as easy... What move would an electric type have that would hurt his serpent?

Acrobatics. That was the move.

The eel's nimble strike came out of nowhere, sending Rocket flying, the snake landing in a heap.

Rex couldn't bear the thought that his pride would be the end of his best friend. Thinking fast, Rex send out Alistair to trap Rocket's soul before he was lost. Now partnered with Rocket's spirit, Alistair took down Eelectrik in a single hit, to Rex's relief...

But that relief was short-lived. When Rex saw that Ghestis had sent out a dark type, his fear returned. If Alistair was killed while hosting Rocket, he would lose both of them.

The Bisharp was at a higher level of strength than Alistair... but Rocket gave Alistair the edge he needed to land a Flame Burst before the steel type could make a move.

They had won.

THEY HAD WON!!!

hey mellow, how's your day going? hope it's going well. mine was until I saw dan's tweet on how he makes tea. anyway, the nuzlocke got me to replay one of my favourite pokémon games, pokémon y. i know they aren't that well liked, but the kalos games were my first ones, so they've always held a special place in my heart. would love to see more content for them one day. is there any pokemon game you'd like to see more content for one day, mellow? zesty & jayden, starting over

Zesty had prepared for this. She’d spent hours training, building up to exactly this moment, should have been completely prepared for whatever came at her. It’s a complete and total surprise, then, when her Chlarizard dies from a one-hit K.O. at the hands of a Glyrados, leaving her Nuzlocke run effectively in ruins.

“No!” she yells, hands raised straight up above her. “Not Yaboi Junior!”

The chat immediately explodes into frowning emotes, thousands of viewers crying out for their beloved trainer and fallen monster friends. Zesty milks it for all she can, pretending to sob into her hands and shaking her head.

“He was so young! My beloved boy!”

“Are you going to be doing this for much longer?” comes a voice from the door.

Zesty immediately shifts gears, turning to shoot Jayden a thousand-watt smile. She’s in the middle of braiding her long, dark hair up around the halo of bones that frame her head, a result of being on a dig in the Moab the day the Forbidden Book opened. The bottom half of her face is half-covered with the lower jaw of a beast neither of them recognized at first; Zesty can still tell she’s smiling behind it.

“Bonesy, my beloved!” Zesty cries, gesturing her into the frame of the stream. Already the chat is filled with an onslaught of skulls and crossbones, her signature emote. “Come solve a dilemma for me!”

Jayden sighs and rolls her eyes, but she comes to sit gingerly on the arm of Zesty’s chair. Her hands are still busy braiding, so she can’t stop Zesty from throwing an arm around her waist.

“As my resident legal expert,” Zesty says, and ignores the way she opens her mouth to interrupt, “is it technically permitted for me to reset to my last save in order to preserve the legacy of my beloved Yaboi Junior?”

“As a reminder, I am not a lawyer,” Jayden says, looking directly at the webcam. “I work in archaeological verification. It’s different.”

“Right,” Zesty says, “bone lawyer.”

If she had a hand free, Jayden would hit Zesty for that. She doesn’t, though, opting instead finish her braid as she ponders the question. As soon as she’s done, one hand comes to ruffle Zesty’s hair gently.

“The rules are that the run is over once your party dies, right?” she asks.

“That is correct, Bonesy dear.” Zesty runs a finger along the space between her tank top and her jeans; she doesn’t stop her. “But we did so love Junior. It would be a shame to end it on this note.”

“Mm.” Jayden leans in close to look at the chat, eyes scanning the responses as they fly past. “Well.”

She lets the silence sit for a minute, lets Zesty whine and excuse and try to talk her way out of it, before she holds up a hand to halt her.

“I think,” she says, frowning, “you’re going to have to start over, Zesty.”

“Betrayal of the highest order!” Zesty exclaims, pushing away too quickly and almost sending them both tumbling to the carpet. “In my own home!”

Jayden laughs, one hand coming up to cling to Zesty’s shoulder. “You asked me! That’s my ruling!”

“You’re not even a real lawyer.”

“Oh, so now you understand the difference?”
