MIRELLIA'S MIRACLE

The train was coming particularly late today. The intercom had said it would only be 10 minutes late at most, but it had been half an hour. Mirellia had gotten bored and started challenging people to arm wrestling competitions. She had won about two-thirds of the time, and by now, everyone waiting had resorted to some method to stave off their boredom and worry about being late to work. She noticed a teenage boy reading "Lord of the Flies," a businesswoman playing some mobile game, and an old couple were chatting about something; she'd narrowed it down to either their children or a heist plan. One was more likely, but one was more interesting, so she didn't care. The speakers finally spoke up: "Apologies for the inconvenience, we are truly sorry. However, as per the 51st term in our train pass terms of service, you are unable to sue us. We will make sure that everyone gets one piece of candy when on the train." Capitalism at work, once again.

The old couple had noticed someone slightly below their age but richer looking, and if Mirellia had been straight, she would've said he was attractive. It seemed he was a sibling of the woman, that or their sponsor for the heist. It was weird how long the joke she'd invented in her head had gone on without being disproved. The teenage boy had put away his book, stuffed with sticky notes, and had gotten on the phone when his mom had called, yelling why he was absent, loud enough for the noise to carry to Mirellia's ears. One of the few times Mirellia was glad about her foster parents. From what she'd heard of her mom, she would've been exactly like that. The businesswoman was chewing on a Starburst, looking up at the ceiling of the train station, bored or angry, Mirellia couldn't tell.

And the pilot was worried… why? Why was he worried? Something in her was telling her that something bad, very bad, was happening at the front of the train. It wasn't exactly a gut feeling; it was similar, but her whole being felt it, and it was certain. Shit. The train was probably going to crash, wasn't it? Her body agreed with that idea, so it must be right. She had felt this before, after the crisis, and it had never been wrong. She could feel anger from her neighbor, and tomorrow his wife was reported dead. Worry followed by pure fear, and then she'd seen a car crash. She hadn't acted; she wasn't sure how she could, and now she was being punished by being on the receiving end of it. She'd never been religious, but in times like this, she wished she had a god to pray to. "Fuck it, Mirellia would try anyway. God, Allah, since it maybe covers more of you, please get everyone off the train. Or Buddha, I don't think miracles are your thing, but maybe this time? Confucius, wait, no, that's definitely not how it works."

Mirellia looked around. She was on the street. So was everyone, and many dead bodies. They'd been hit, she realized, by the cars. They had slammed on the brakes as soon as the people appeared, but it didn't matter. There were bodies now, but there used to be people. She noticed a boy with a backpack skid across the ground next to her, a massive wound near his stomach. Three heads of gray hair fell to the ground, and she almost felt like their eyes rolled to stare into her soul. This was her fault, wasn't it? She'd prayed to get off the train, and she had been slapped by a monkey's paw. She saw someone, with a parahuman uniform, staring into the crowd. At the least, a dozen were dead, and she knew it must have been an empowered. The woman's eyes were terrified. She thought it was a massacre. It was, wasn't it? Just not one with a goal. It was an accident, but people wouldn't see it that way, would they?

The court cases were exhausting. A parahuman who could sense the activation of powers used in the past had been called in. He had spoken, one by one, to every single one of them. It had only taken three tries before he'd gotten to Mirellia. A lawyer, sympathetic and believing Mirellia when she said it was an accident, probably Entitlement at work, had offered to work for her at a quarter of his normal price. She had accepted, scrounging up all of her savings for it. It was the day of the verdict, and, as much as she hated it, she knew Entitlement had gotten her this far. The jury had all believed her when she said it was accidental. The judge sentenced her toa year of house arrest, to the chagrin of every person who wasn’t in the room, convinced by Mirellia’s powers. So, Mirellia had went to her apartment, and rotted, eating, sleeping, checking the news sometimes, and practicing conversation, so she wouldn’t be so terrible at it when the year ended. She watched 5 seasons of TV every week, and read a book every 3 days. Finally, the year was over. She celebrated by calling Empowered eats, and ordering taiwanese. A lot of it. When she opened the door, she was greeted by a man, he looked similar to that high schooler who she had killed. And a woman, silvery white hair and a red mark on her cheek were on the other side. Damn, the girl was cute. Maybe it was because she hadn’t seen anyone in person for so long. “Hello! Never seen you before, move in recently?”

Can't Seem to Change Shape

Everyone has their own powers as a witch and Ren isn't too happy with his.

Isuki keeps teasing him, even though he protests through his yowls.

"Ok we've had our fun Ren! You can turn back right?"

Ren closed his eyes and focused on his magic, visualized his tiny furry body becoming taller and more human.

He opened them and screamed-or more like something of screech.

Isuki's brows knit with worry.

"Yikes...maybe let's um...try breathing exercises yeah! Let's do that!"

They heard Mr. Iwatani say something about getting stuck in a form could possibly be due to anxiety, so he tries.

5. 4. 3. 2. 1.

Ren opens them again, hissing this time.

Isuki sighs sitting down next to the now tiny kitten, "Should we go to Mr. Iwatani about this?"

Ren shook his and growled when Isuki scooped him.

"Don't worry it'll be ok."

Isuki let him climb onto his shoulder while walking toward their home room teacher's class.

"Oof-"

"Eep!"

Isuki put a hand to his head, "Eep? Oh-ah! Hey Rishia why are you here?"

Rishia was about to mumble her apologies til she heard the question.

She laughs nervously, " Oh had to turn late homework cuz I forgot! You've finished with those sets of potions right? Wait-why are you here?"

Her eyes dart to the black-almost void like thing bundled in Isuki's arms, Rishia's lights up, "Oh my gosh! Who is this?"

"Uh...a kitten! I found him on campus so I'm just going to ask...uh Mr. Iwatani about what to do with him." He ducks into the classroom without a second thought, "BYE NOW!"

Real smooth, Ren thinks.

They both see their teacher at his desk, sorting out paper work and some boxes near him. Some fizzling and smelling awfully suspicious...

"So what brings you here Isuki?"

"We...need your help."

Isuki plops Ren onto the desk unceremoniously and rings his hands together expecting what he'll say.

Naofumi is surprised by the black, and very fluffy kitten, on his desk.

"A kitten? Just put it in a shelter?"

His attention is put on the kit after he hisses at him, Naofumi then notices a light blue scarf that Isuki gifted Ren last year.

The blonde sighs, "It's Ren and he can't seem to change back. Could you help?"

Naofumi gets up from his seat and dramatically opens a drawer to grab black laboratory gloves and goggles, "Why wouldn't I? You're my students, of course I will."

Ren leaps into Isuki's arms, "You like a mad scientist."

"I prefer 'Mad Potion Maker'."

With that he scoots them out the room and all they could hear from putting their ears to the door was cackling and ingredient names.

Isuki rolls his eyes, "Yep. Mad scientist."

He looks down at the anxious mess of the black kitten he's holding and bumps his head to Ren's.

"Don't worry he'll have the potion ready in the morning, I won't let anyone know. I promise you."

With that Ren climbed into Isuki's jacket and onto his shoulders, closed his eyes and purred.

An Au where everyone's a witch and goes to a witchy school to control their innate powers!! Or at least make them real anyways!

Naofumi is a teacher that works with healing magic and potions of all kind.

Therese works as a elemental magics teacher and hates a certain period where a certain playboy who's stupid and still flirts with her even though she's married to one of the two teachers in school.

L'arc does the fighting classes for those who lean towards very active magics.

Glass is a teacher who teaches death/soul magic, her wife Kizuna comes by. Shes a vet :]

Kyo's here for some reason and is also a teacher for potions and stuff but also does more so the animal shifting and transformations stuff as well. Naofumi and him hate eachother. It's not even a rivalry . They just wanna beat each other up in front of the school.

Mirellia is the headmaster who keeps everything under control :]

The Rising of the Shield Hero Saison 3 : Date de Sortie, Trailer, tout savoir

Visuels, trailer, équipe de production et distribution artistique, date de sortie : l’anime The Rising of the Shield Hero Saison 3 se dévoile.

Annoncée pour la première fois courant 2020, en parallèle à la seconde saison de la série, la saison 3 de l’anime The Rising of the Shield Hero dévoile finalement ses principales informations sur son site officiel, à commencer par sa date de sortie, mais également de nombreux détails concernant sa production.

Dans cette troisième saison, le groupe de Naofumi se prépare à affronter une toute nouvelle menace. Après Reiki la Tortue Spirituelle, c’est au tour du Phoenix de faire son entrée, dans un contexte pour le moins tendu puisque Motoyasu, Itsuki et Ren, respectivement les héros à la lance, à l’arc et à l’épée, sont introuvables. Une fois de plus, c’est au héros au bouclier que revient la lourde tâche de sauver le monde !

La date de sortie de l’anime The Rising of the Shield Hero Saison 3 (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Saison 3), réalisé par le studio d’animation Kinema Citrus, est programmée pour octobre 2023 au Japon.

C’est Hitoshi Haga (Star Wars Visions : The Village Bride) qui réalise le projet au studio d’animation Kinema Citrus (Made in Abyss). Keigo Koyanagi (Sirius the Jaeger) occupe le poste de scénariste principal tandis que Komatsu Sana, Franziska van Wulfen et Masahiro Suwa sont crédités pour le design des personnages. Sera Kota coopère à la conception des chara designs. Les musiques sont composées par Kevin Penkin (Tower of God).

Pour rappel, l’anime The Rising of the Shield Hero est adapté du light novel Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, écrit par Yusagi Aneko et illustré par Seira Minami, publié au Japon depuis août 2013 par l’éditeur KADOKAWA. Le titre connait aussi une adaptation en manga par Aiya Kyu, prépublié par le même éditeur depuis février 2014 dans le magazine Monthly Comic Flapper.

Les deux premières saisons de la série animée sont à retrouver sur Crunchyroll.

Après avoir mis un terme aux villes manigances du vicieux Kyo, il est temps pour Naofumi, Raphtalia et leurs camarades de reprendre leur aventure là où elle avait été laissée. Naofumi, désormais vicomte suite à ses exploits face à Reiki, a pour projet de se réinvestir corps et âme dans la lutte face aux vagues.

Toutefois, de nombreux nouveaux problèmes l’attendent, à commencer par l’éveil du Phœnix, une autre Bête Gardienne, provoqué par la disparition de la Tortue Spirituelle. Face à cette menace d’une tout autre ampleur, le monde à plus que jamais besoin du héros au bouclier !

Mais comme si cela n’était pas déjà suffisamment compliqué, les trois autres héros semblent avoir disparu suite à leur cuisant échec dans la bataille face à Reiki. Alors, afin de renforcer les défenses de Melromarc en prévision du terrible affrontement à venir, Naofumi décide de rechercher les membres dispersés du village de Lurolona et se rend sur les terres de Zeltoble, où il apprend que certains d’entre eux ont été vendus comme esclaves.

Pour les libérer et obtenir leur aide, il participe avec Raphtalia et Filo à une arène de combat souterraine. Tandis que les demi-humains cherchent le salut, Myne fomente quant à elle un nouveau mauvais coup dans l’ombre…
