Mod was clearing out a drug dealers compound for a job. Pretty standard mission. They were manufacturing a new product that was a powerful hallucinogen. His mission was to take out the leader, mop up the rest, and let the professionals handle the biohazards. Simple.

Mod got to the leader and took them out flawlessly. There were a lot of goons to mop up though. Mod fought most of them off with minimal damage. But one had grabbed a syringe, stabbed him and injected Mod with the drug.

Mod made short work of the goon but the drug started to take effect. Mod knew he was in over his head now. He sent out a distress call to allies before everything started shifting and made him feel dizzy.

The complex changed around him. The walls looked more brutalist in architecture. Mods weapons disappeared. Soon he was back. He was back in the hydra base. “No. No no no no no.” Mod fell on his back and started hyperventilating. “Not here... anywhere but here...”

Oooo! Yes, I do!

They don't age physically because their clay, but they have the mental ages of 30 for Tunner, and for Clunkr, it changes. Sometimes, he's about 20, and other times, he's 3 - 5 (age regression Clunkr, anyone?).

Height is difficult. Tunner is slightly taller than Clunkr, but I have their sizes in fnaf book height because those are the books I have on my shelf. Clunkr is 4 books tall, 5 if you include his cymbal, and Tunner is 5 books tall, 6 if you include his hat.

Sexualities are easy! Tunner is gay (not for Clunkr), and Clunkr himself is aroace. Clunkr just loves his brother, and that's it. Also, Tunner has no idea he's gay yet.

Now, voice headcannons. I don't know just yet, but I will edit this once I think of some.

I apologize for being pretty silent the last few days. It's shark week for me, and it's been kicking my butt nonstop. I have been chipping away at a few things, doodling for babytwo related asks I've been sitting on for a hot minute that I'll be posting later on down the line. I wanna start on them early so they'll be ready to go at the appropriate time.

I'm just on my way home from uni because we have just been released for the summer break at last, and I wanna thank y'all so much for supporting me throughout the creation of this blog. It will always be here hahaha this is a simple form of gratitude and sweet message to my moots especially.

This was the last semester of my second year in my fashion degree, which means that I will most likely return for my final year... scary, but I know that I will make it through, and from the minute I found out about shifting, I know that everything will be okay <3 Now I can enjoy my time off for a while, but I'll get really busy! As I'll be working hard towards my final major project.

This means that I may be on a shifting break to focus on graduating, moving out, perhaps learning to drive? and securing a summer internship (maybe), good paying job, of course, before I start thinking about seriously thinking about permashifting out of this reality permanently.

I simply want the version of myself that I'll eventually leave here to make the best out of her life even if I won't be "here" if you get what I mean, she will post my pre-drafted farewell blog to the community when I have made it but for now I wanna cherish my moments here and become the best version of myself towards my final days here! I hope y'all also understand. have a good day/night wherever you are, I love you all, and as always.

Noah's Ark on Broadway

NOAH’S ARK on BROADWAY in 1896

You are not likely to find anything about Noah's Ark on New York City's famous Broadway today … but, at one time, it was the "toast of the town".

Noah's Ark, and the great world-wide flood as recorded in Genesis, is perhaps one of the most easily identifiable events in all of the Bible. The most interesting aspect of this episode is not the illusion itself, but the fact that it attracted so many people from New York City's secular population: from every-day working families, to the City's upper crust … all were thrilled with the experience.

A few points of note:

Technical details of the illusion were featured in Scientific American magazine

The Olympia was the premiere entertainment showplace of the world

Biblical themes were very popular, with all NYC audiences at the Olympia

It was founded and built by famous Oscar Hammerstein

It was reported that audiences were left spellbound after each Noah’s Ark performance

It was so popular and well-received, that the highly respected science publication, Scientific American, devoted an entire page to this Biblically-themed entertainment attraction -- complete with stunning illustrations.

Let’s take a step-by-step look at the Noah’s Ark illusion. I will inter-space the steps throughout today’s presentation.

STEP ONE

Hammerstein's Olympia Theater and Music Hall was once celebrated as the foremost entertainment venue in the entire world.

Located at 44th and Broadway in New York City, it was only two blocks from what is known today as Times Square. The main theater held 2,800-seats. And the building took up an entire city block.

STEP TWO

The rooftop was just as famous as the theater and music hall. It had a 65-foot tall glass roof, and was illuminated with over 3,000 light bulbs. To provide electricity, there were four dynamos that generated 3,200 amps of power. These dynamos also powered a complete air circulation system, and pump, that brought refrigerated water from the basement to the rooftop area -- providing what was a very early version of air conditioning ... in 1896!

Not to be outdone by any other venue, the rooftop also had trees, rocks, and even a stream that eventually led to a 40-foot lake. There were swans, ducks, and even South American monkeys.

And, while you were enjoying all of this, you could walk around the perimeter of the roof, and take in views of Central Park and neighboring New Jersey.

At the time, the cost of admission for everything, including entertainment, was only 50-cents! However, keep in mind, with the rate of inflation from 1896 to 2025, that same fifty cent admission price would be equivalent to roughly $15 to $20 today.

STEP FOUR

The Scientific American publication was founded by inventor and publisher Rufus Porter in 1845. Contributors of note include Thomas Edison, Robert Goddard, Jonas Salk, Albert Einstein, and Linus Pauling -- just to name a few.

STEP FIVE: The SOLUTION

The answer to the filling of the Ark with water is a simple one … the water funnel on the top of the Ark is attached to a hose that runs down through the support beams, then empties under the stage. The water never fills the Ark in the first place.

Other than taking creative license with a few details (for instance, the real ark was never filled with water), it was a wonderful opportunity for audience members to experience one of the great Biblical events on the grand Broadway stage.

Perhaps one day we'll see a revival of the Noah's Ark Illusion, or a variation on the theme. In the meantime, I'm glad to have been able to bring it to you with this Celebrate the Bible 250 podcast.

So, no matter if you've been here since the beginning, or if you've only very recently jumped face-first into the spiderpool – if you love us, and ask-spiderpool has meant something to you, please leave your mark on ask-spiderpool history. Scribble something sappy with some sparkly gel-pens. Whip out some glittery stickers, and fancy highlighters. Put on your best lipgloss, and leave us a kiss on the page. Anything goes, (but please don't be a dick and draw a dick. Expecting a little bit more originality than that.) Ideally a white or transparent background, but allowances will be made if you're sending in something a little fancier (who am I to stop you?)

If you'd like to submit a fan-comic or a piece of prose, feel free to shoot me a message - I might be shooting around some messages myself – the theme is high-school (cheerleader outfits abound!)

If you can't or don't want to submit an image, there's also an option for short written submissions. Leave us a love note in our locker, and share the love. Address the boys, and they might just respond. (Wade Wilson has lovingly offered to put the whole affair together. I'm putting my trust in him. God help us all.) Keep your notes short and sweet! 150 words max! 

The earlier you send your note in the more likely it is you'll make it onto the page, (I don't know how many of you there'll be!) so get out those crayons and glitter-glue, and let's make a super-baby.

Update: So it's been almost a month, things have gotten a little better. I do apologize for my hiatus post being so sudden and out of the blue...It was a build-up of personal things going on, and the icing on the cake was that I got laid off that day. My previous job was relocating to a smaller place and therefore had to downsize the staff, which included me and two others, and with my anxiety that made me flip out a bit ^^;

But since then, I found a new job and been trying to adjust to the new routine and work hours. I only just started on Monday officially, and I think my first week went well. I come home earlier now, which is nice. I'll keep the family issues brief, but tldr, I keep the toxicity out to where I'm now hardly in contact with certain family members anymore and I can finally breathe. On a better note, I've been outside more, going on walks and hanging out with friends more often. I recently went with a friend to Knoebels Resort during their opening weekend and had a blast, I also applied to work as a ride operator there during the summer weekends, so I'll be busy. I'm not ready to come back 100%, probably not for awhile yet, at least not with art, as the enjoyment I got from making art still remains elusive to me, I haven't touched ibispaint since April 19th...My hope is that the longer I'm away from drawing, the more I might miss it and will want to return. Until then tho I wanted to fill y'all in on what's been happening and how it's been going.
