Philippines-set narrative adventure game Until Then will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on May 23, publisher Modus Games and developer Polychroma announced. A demo is available now for PC.

In a world still recovering from catastrophe, Mark Borja and his friends navigate the joys and woes of another year of high school. Wake up in a typical teenage bedroom, practice piano, race to meet homework deadlines, and build (and burn) relationships, as you reminisce about the daily insecurities of high school life. That is, until a fateful meeting sets off a chain reaction, upending Mark’s life. People disappear and memories prove unreliable. Traverse Philippine-inspired landscapes in search for the truth. Interior spaces are shaped by the mannerisms of the locals, setting the scene for a recent past.

Kukoos: Lost Pets Announcement

The Kukoos pets have been brainwashed by evil villains! Time to save your pets. Kukoos: Lost Pets is a puzzle platformer that features so and up to four-player co-op play. Players can control one of 12 different Kukoos and team up with 5 different pets.

Modus Games and Petit Fabrik’ Kukoos: Lost Pets launces for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in December 2022. The game will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One in 2023.

Two Souls Fight as One in Soulstice

Soulstice appears to have forged its identity from cobbling together elements of its influences. The visual style pays homage to the manga Berserk and the stylish, fast-paced combat would feel right at home in a Devil May Cry game. While no attempts were made to cover up its influences, however, the atmosphere helps create something that doesn’t feel like a simple knock off and after spending several hours exploring Ilden, my anticipation for the final product has grown.

Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons Review

Double Dragon Gaiden delivers a decent, albeit flawed, beat ‘em up experience. Its rogue-lite mechanics are, indeed, very light; they don’t do enough to mix things up in a way that justifies their inclusion. It can still be a pretty good time especially when it’s played in co-op.
