Like they would bond over the amount of Trauma they have. They were all bullied/Discriminated against in some way, you cant tell me otherwise. Shinsou for his 'Villainous' quirk, Midoriya for their lack thereof, Hatsume for 'being crazy', Monoma for their 'Weak' 'Villainous' or 'might as well be nonexistent' quirk, and Nezdu for being a quirked animal.

Like, I'd love for them to be beasties and terrify everybody in UA when they're together. Like it's fine when Shin & Mono are walking in the hallway, or Mido & Hatsu, or Hatsu & Nez, but Mido & Shin & Mono & Hatsu together leaves students splitting like the Red Sea trying to get away from the 'IzuCrew', the 'Gremlin Group', the 'Chaotic Course Reps'.... Man I really wanna write a fic now...like, ShinMonoMido, Quirkless Mido, DadMic, BakuBark Bashing, Gen-Ed Mido until the Sports Fest, where the four of them DOMINATE the second round together, The Garbage Grape gets expelled, UGGH!!

I'll write more on this. I will.

"I KNOW I AM." Monoma seethed. "THAT'S WHY I NEED IDEAS."

"Oh, for-" Kendou sighed. "Just try and find a common interest with Midoriya! Give him a dynamic with him that he's unable to replicate with Bakugou, something that Bakugou will NEVER give him back!"

Class 1-B stared in shock at their president.

"Look." Kendou said with a dead look in her eye. "If this gets Yaoyorozu to stop being in Midoriya's harem." Unsaid was, "and start being in mine".

"What do I have in common with Deku..." Monoma hummed. "I... Suppose we both like Quirks? I'll try that and report back."

Neito adjusts his tie, carefully keeping his eyes lowered as he approaches the infamous Kyuubi, present 'ruler' of Japan's underworld. His mother had warned him to be careful about meeting the other's eyes, because rumor had it Kyuubi had some sort of Quirk that meant with eye contact, you were forever loyal to him.

He's not quite sure he buys it, but better safe then sorry.

"So you're the present Copycat," Kyuubi says, and Neito makes sure to focus on his freckles rather than raising his eyes all the way up. "Monoma Neito? Or do you prefer Neito Sartre?"

The use of his real name, along with the implication Kyuubi knows the Copycat is a legacy title, startles Neito into meeting emerald eyes.

I've had to deal with the Monoma being viewed as some off brand Bakugo issue for so long now, it's time I complain about it.

the only reason people compare the two is because Monoma is blonde and mean. but they are so different from each other and its insane that people don't acknowledge that.

Monoma actually cares about and gets along well with his classmates. he is soley rude to 1-a BECAUSE of Bakugo. even though Bakugo is better in the more recent arcs about teamwork and such, he didn't get along with his class (because he didn't want to.) another thing is how Monoma is / was a victim of quirk discrimination while Bakugo WAS A QUIRK DISCRIMINATOR. Bakugo had no reason for the things he did / the way he acted, he was canonly spoiled as a child. meanwhile Monoma actually has issues linked to his behavior (ex: getting bullied).

and monodeku being "the same thing" as bakudeku is a stupid claim. Bakugo bullied and abused Izuku for a decade. Monoma just shits on 1-A.

Monoma is basically what the fandom THINKS Bakugo is. someone who got hurt as a child and now takes it out on others to feel better about themselves. because Monoma does not think he is better than 1-A. he doesn't think he is strong. he was told that he will always be stuck on the sidelines and even though he says different that feeling is still there.

HAHA theatre nerd bakugou love that, but fr they’d be a cute pair :’) !! Monoma trying his best to hate 1a, trying to push their buttons and whatnot but deku just keeps defeating him with his positive vibes, how can he hate the guy ? It annoys him not really how nice deku is and I know deku is super interested in monoma’s quirk, it’s such a neat power ! He’d fluster monoma with compliments, kill him with kindness

I think they’d have a lot to talk about together ! Deku has been taking notes on so many heroes and quirks, I feel like he’d absolutely love to share his analysis and monoma would be super interested in what he has to say, first cause it’s beneficial to him, and then eventually cause he just likes listening to deku and all the sudden he’s got a crush on the guy and won’t let anybody in 1b hear the end of it

Izuku slid his thumb underneath the top of the note and quickly popped it open before he chickened out. If he chickened out, Iida would remind him of the note’s existence (because there was no way Iida wouldn’t do that) and then it would be awkward because Izuku would have to explain he hadn’t forgotten, he was just avoiding it. And Izuku was already awkward enough as it was without adding to it. Izuku read the inside of the note. He blinked. He blinked again. “Midoriya-kun?” Iida asked. “Is everything alright? Your face looks—” Numbly, Izuku showed him the note. There was a moment of silence, and then there were two moments of silence, and then Iida said, “It is unsigned.” Izuku flipped the note back around, looking at it again as if he expected the words to have changed in the time Iida had been reading it. Honestly, Izuku would have been less shocked if they had, because, well… I like you.

Ok, hear me out, Monoma and Izuku would be unstoppable, okay? So this is the most awkward Izuku story in the most delicious way. Izuku receives an anonymous note telling him "I like you". It was left on his locker and it's not signed, and Izuku simply cannot believe it was for him, he thinks he is undatable (which his friends are so cool about disproving him of the idea). Meanwhile Monoma, with whom he had become friends, simply reverted to his old ways, and worse, and Izuku is not sure what's going on. (it's not like he has a crush on Monoma and doesn't know how to deal). Amazing everything! Super fun and funny!
