General Information

“Sleep mode” is basically like a human sleeping, and their new charging system.

They can do stuff like eat, sleep, drink, shower etc. 

🧸Glamrock Freddy🎙️

We all know he’s a big sweetheart himbo.

I feel like he doesn’t like PDA, but does enjoy being around you. He just feels it’s very unprofessional!

But if you're upset, he’ll make an exception.

Oh, but if you're alone with him and his friends? He’ll probably just give you silent affection. Just stand behind you and nuzzle you.

When he’s on full battery, he’s a busy bee and often checks up on you before going back to work. If he’s on low battery though, he generally gets kind of sluggish and gets really tired. During those times, he just wants to cuddle you and is quite needy and clingy.

Loves it when you wear any Pizza Plex merch. Whether it be of his friends or himself.

He finds stars and space in general absolutely fascinating. Despite his wishes to not break rules… he’ll put that aside to go out to see the stars with you. 

I feel like he loves retro games. Mario and Sonic and stuff. He finds newer ones a bit complicated, and his big hands make his gameplay clunky, but he’ll happily play any you sneak in.

If your having trouble sleeping or just had a bad day, he’ll sing you My Little Sunshine until you fall asleep… probably even afterwards.

He loves singing for you, and loves it even more when you sing with him. He finds your voice hypnotic and even if you think you're bad, he’s not shy to let you know how much he loves your voice.

Plant daddy. Change my mind.

Loves it when you get along with Gregory.

Giant bear boobies. Touch em.

Loves baking with you. If you don’t know how, he’s happy to teach you!

One of his all time favorite activities to do with you is just cuddling and relaxing after a looong day… watching TV or YouTube or a Movie or whatever. He loves it.

Calls you honey bear. 

If he was one of the Seven Deadly Sins, he’d be Envy. (Listen, I know it doesn’t fit. Like, at all. But, the way the rest of the Deady Sins fit with the other Glamrocks is perfect.)

He’s a complete blockhead. I love him, but he’s dumb. He’s a little stupid. A bit of a fool. Has a small amount of brain cells. Smooth brain. A himbo. A dumb jock. A-

He does have anger issues and destroys his room… but I see it as him being mad at Fazbear Entertainment. Bonnie promised him that when Monty finally got his part on stage, he and Bonnie would play together. Not replacing him. And now everyone sees him as a fame obsessed maniac who wants to dismantle Freddy. Sure, he’s very popular with people, probably one of the most popular, but… does that matter when the person you care about most is gone..?

He’s still a bit sad when Bonnie comes back, since he’s not up on stage with Monty.

Ok angst and stuff aside.

I am completely aware animatronics working out makes no sense but I really don’t care. Like I said, Monty is a Dumb Jock. (Don’t worry, he won’t bully you like the others. In fact he’ll beat ‘em up >:(

Yeah once Bonnie comes back his passion for pranks gets even worse.

A big prankster. Bonnie is his main target.

Flirty. And he’s not good at it.

When he’s confused or focusing really hard on something his tongue slips out of his snout. You got a picture of it and he threw a HISSY FIT. But he reluctantly let you keep it.

Oh dear Lordy. The way he gets oh so embarrassed when he sees you wearing his glasses…

He’s dragged you into the pools of Gator Golf on countless occasions. But after your initial shock, he likes just floating around in there with you.

He’ll happily teach you to swim and play golf. I mean, he’ll always beat you in golf, but the least he can do is give you a chance.

Y'know how people say Roxy is so sure of herself as a coping mechanism? Yeah Monty is like that except he’s just that confident. He thinks he’s the best, and while he doesn’t show off to the point of Roxy, he does crave praise and often boasts about himself to you, trying to impress you. Especially flexing for you.

CHUBBY CHICA SUPREMACY!

Yes I’m completely aware her attraction is based around Fitness. I feel like part of her job is to teach kids being a bit more chubby than others is a-ok and comforts those who don’t feel confident for that reason.

So yeah if you're chubby she definitely comforts you if you're insecure about it better than anyone else.

She actually has some anxiety. But you generally make it better!

You're gonna have lots of lipstick on your face. She gets all pouty when you wipe it off.

Listen, if a guest is giving you a hard time, she WILL enter Mother Hen mode. 

An absolute pop diva. She’s just swag like that. (Can we bring back swag? No? Oh. Ok :(

While she doesn’t have many songs where she sings, she has an absolutely beautiful voice.

I hope you can handle lots of affection, cause she’s a real affectionate chick!

Watching Soap Operas or Dramas while eating pizza and cuddling you is literally the best thing she’s ever been introduced to.

I hope you’ve got an appetite, cause she makes food that will make you want to gorge yourself! Believe it or not, she will be more than happy to share!

Eating is her coping mechanism, and when she’s very upset and doesn’t want to cook, she resorts to eating garbage. You have to be firm with her about it, but she appreciates you not letting her go to those extremes.

She’s gotten used to praise for the smallest things, and just because she loves you doesn’t mean you're an exception!

Despite that she’s probably taller than you. (Buff Woman make my knees wobble 🫢)

Y’know those tight outfits race car drivers wear? Yeah, imagine Roxy in that.

Despite being the most popular, only behind Freddy, she has so many self esteem issues and doubts in herself. Many nights are spent consoling her as she cries and yells before wearing herself out and finally settling down and letting you hold her, brushing her hair and tail, cleaning any runny mascara and makeup.

Reluctantly lets you put ribbons on her tail. Might even keep them on.

I feel like Roxy doesn’t use that many nicknames. But, she might call you something every once and a while. 

That anxiety of hers means she’s got comfort items, fidget toys, food, drinks, music etc in her room. She’ll add any stuff that helps you, regardless if you have anxiety or not.

Y’know how she compliments herself? Oh good GRIEF I hope you can handle compliments towards you. She CONSTANTLY praises you. But… it’s more so you don’t end up like her. An anxiety-depression ridden MESS. If you're already there though, she’ll help you the best she can. Which luckily, she is the best at!

Whether you be playing racing games, or be in Roxy Raceway, she WILL go all out. Yeah, Rip you. 

Despite what you may think, she’s VERY open and VERY proud about her relationship with you. Carrying you around, your neck covered in bite marks and purple lipstick doesn’t leave much to the imagination…

She obsessively reads fan mail in the evening. Even the… ahem, weirder, mail doesn’t bother her. Well, as much as comments from people during the day do at least.

Just… don’t play Monopoly or UNO with her… or Monty. Or Chica. Yeah, just don’t play with anyone really.

If she was one of the Seven Deadly Sins, she’d be Pride.

He’s a little hyperactive. Ok I lied he’s the most hyperactive.

So if you're quite a lazy person he’ll just be trying to encourage you to play with him and the kids. He genuinely does not realize if you're tired unless you tell him, or it’s SUPER obvious.

I feel like he strictly follows rules, yes, but he also likes pranks. Nothing that will make you upset, maybe just a lil annoyed.

Let’s you, and other kids, draw on him. Just know if you do, A. You have to clean it off and B. He’s not a still canvas. Will be moving the entire time.

Not really a romantic headcanon, but I feel like he and Chica are real good friends.

Wraps his arms around you several times over to hug you.

He hugs you. A lot.

He obviously loves cartoons.

I dunno why people see him as a little feral touch starved gremlin. I see him as a constantly sleepy boi that loves cuddling. I mean, I’m sure he cuddles plenty of kids to sleep every day!

Yes, I am aware of how he acts in SB, but I see that more of a side effect of the Glitchtrap Virus rather than his general personality.

He doesn’t enjoy not having a movable mouth. He wishes he could eat candy before bed…

If they were one of the Seven Deadly Sins, they’d be Sloth. (Moondrop more so, but I can see Sun being Sloth after a long day.)

Sorry Sun and Moon don’t have a lot, I don’t really know what to say about them.

An absolute DILF of a bunny with that ever loving Aussie accent.

He generally has that energy where anyone will do anything he says. Intimidating and quite good at manipulation (ONLY for your best interests. And his.) (Inspired by : @theodorevg923, who generally also gives me inspiration for all of this, alongside many other Tumblrs :)

He couldn’t care less about not being in the band anymore. He comes out at night and hangs out with everyone. As far as he’s concerned, the stress is taken off of him and he gets more time teaching kids bowling.

Flirty. He’s really good at it.

Loves himself some P to the D to the A.

If someone tries making fun of you for him giving you those public displays of affection, he will tell them to F out of his bowling alley. In a bit of an… angrier way.

Loooves Ice Cream. His favorite way to relax is to eat Ice Cream and go bowling with you. He pretty much has a sweet tooth in general. The public will never find out though. He’s got too much of a public image.

But… kids melt that image. He’s got a real sweet spot for the little rascals.

Monty definitely had and still has a crush on him.

He calls you Clover. I know I know, how original.

If you put on a bit more of a… ahem, reavealing outfit, he will stutter and blush like a mess before going back to his usual calm and relaxed self.

And if you pet his ears? He will absolutely melt. You usually don’t see Soft Bonnie, so take your chance!

He’s a small grumpy old man. Ok, I’m exaggerating but I see him as the oldest, and shortest, animatronic in the Pizza Plex (Not including general animatronics like S.T.A.F.F. Bots or the Robot Wet Floor Signs. And Chica, who between you and me, doesn’t realize she’s short.) 

But he’s real sweet when he’s not a salty sea dog. 

He’s got worse anger issues than Monty, but he doesn’t show it. You can still tell though. His nose and eye twitch. Don’t call him short either, that will get them WAY worse. 

Oh yeah, the eyepatch isn't just for display. He only has one eye.

Has a taste for alcohol, specifically rum. Obviously, he can’t get drunk, but he’ll drink with ya, if you're of age and he will cut you off at your limit. 

A Bloody Irish Pirate. I will hear nothing else.

He has to rest a lot. Don’t get me wrong, he’s fast, but after he runs or something he has to rest up a little.

Unlike Bonnie, he doesn’t know his place now he’s been shafted from the band. He doesn’t even know why he’s not in the band anymore… but considering you found him pretty much erased from history aside from the odd poster, no recollection of any animatronic even being a fox… he fears the worst.

Yeah you pretty much had to throw a FIT before Fazbear Entertainment fixed Foxy up. An even bigger fit was needed to reintroduce him to the public. An even BIGGER one for him to have his hook during work hours.

Man loves gold and money. He is a pirate.

And if you give him other gifts, he’ll cherish them just as equally. 

He’s very jealous. A lonely pirate needs to keep his greatest treasure after all~

the pizzaplex had many security messures in place,including security bots

not that they made the most difference

its not until after a break-in incedint that they decide they need to up their security a tad bit more,however they were already paying enough fees and did'nt want to pay another security officer so instead they went for the next best option!

a new security animatronic that was sentient like the main four+sun and moon

chica was quite surprised once she saw you lurking around,that was until she remembered that the staff had said there was a new bot for extra security

she decided to approach you abit before opening since you both had'nt needed to survey the pizzaplex

you both got along very well actually

she found it very interesting and was slightly jealous that you had the ability to access the cctv cameras around the plex

she was quite happy that there was another animatronic though,you made for good company

if she every saw a security camera she would wave at it,regardless of if you were watching or not

she has offerd you trash before,though wether or not you accept it though is up to you

its the thought that counts atleast

he was surprised to see another bot wondering round the plex

though hes not one to dweel on something that isnt his buisness,so he was mainly just curious and let you be

your first real interaction is when a customer gets particulary aggitated with the gator when you stepped in

you had told the woman the whatever had happpened she could bring it to customer service,you also warned her that if she did not comply she would be escorted out of the pizzzaplex

he hadnt seen anyone stand up for him before like that

you also presented yourself very professionaly,being an animatronic you stood fairly tall but the way your presented yourself almost made yyou seem taller,you were assertive in our words and spoke without stuttering

it was a very nice manner

although hes thankful that you stepped in he dosnt show it

he just huffs and leaves to his green room to blow off steam

after making some more meetings though an unlikely friendship manages to form

he trys to perform even better now that he knows your potentially watching

speaking of that

he finds it cool how they trust you enough to allow you access to the cameras,though hes not jeoalous because he has gator golf

he loves compliments whether your giving them to him or vice versa

hes very possessive and will cuddle you in his greenroom

he will either give you his glasses to wear temporarily or will get a copy made and then give you the copy

she would be one of the first ones to learn of your existance due to her excellent eye sight

she gets a little aggressive until she learns that your not an intruder and also not one of the "main" bots

it turns out mangament just thought it'd be a good idea to through you into the pizza plex with no for warning

she does get nervous that youll take her spot light a tad bit since animatronics do tend to draw more attraction then old ones

she needs quite a bit of confirmation that your not threatening her stance and thats shes still the best

after adjusting to you though shes very friendly

the chances are very high that she'll introduce cassie to you

she lets you into her green room preety much whenever

having a shitty day? go straight to her! she'll cheer you right up!

ashes constantley giving you makeovers,with your consent of course and other things

she loves racing you and she gives you many praises if you win

shes very soft with yopu,surprisingly even in public,although its not to the same extent as when your both alone she'll still be very sweet to you.

if people have a problem with it they can leave

he wouldnt be to surprised to find out tghat managment added another animatronic that was strictly for security,wouldnt be to surprised that managment had'nt told anyone either

he'd probally be one of the first ones to come up to you,having a smug smirk on his face will dramatically spinning a bowling ball with one of his fingers

very flirty,however alot of the time it usually ends up with something funny happening,so flirting but failing at the same time.

he'll lean on a wall,about to recite a very cheezy monologue of randome romantic words when he suddenly just,falls.he slips off the wall and onto the floor,whatever words he was about to say,yea unless hes feeling particularly confident he will just get up,apologize and walk off

if your ever nearby he tries to get the most amount of attention possible,hoping that in the crowd he would have hooked your interest

he has honed his skills of bowling and hes going to show it

hello, could I request Monty and glamrock Freddy’s reaction to a crush who can spout off animal facts.

she normally does child friendly one because of where she’s at, but perhaps one night shift she accidentally talks about how ‘bears can rip off the head of a moose in one swipe’ or ‘alligators are opportunistic feeders, so they can and have performed cannibalism or has taken to eaten human meat.’

Well, that is...an interesting fact, Superstar! Thank you for sharing! It is a good thing that natural bears are extinct. And you do not have to worry about him ripping off any heads! Of course! He's very quick to try and change the subject. He likes your animal facts, but that one really caught him off-guard, and he's not going to be able to stop thinking about it for a while. (-cut to Freddy in his room, staring at his hands- "I would never. But could I...?")

You know those moments in comedies when someone is playing a guitar, and then a character makes a weird comment, and the guitar string snaps as everyone freezes? That's pretty much what happens. Monty was tuning his bass when you said it, and TWANG! Cue a snapped string and a very concerned looking alligator. Oh... Huh. Good thing he prefers the food court! Haha! Ha...ha... (Maybe he should cut back on the "man-eater" jokes...)

If anyone knows any good monty gator fanfics where the reader gets to basically rage with monty that'd be great or do i gotta make that content myself?

Otherwise here's some ideas:

Reader has a bad day and needs to let it out so Monty allows them to fuck up one of the rooms with/witnessed by him

Upset and frustrated reader has a Monty who doesnt express affection that much but will for the reader (bc its worth it)

Monty comfort reader by usually booping his snout to the reader and curling around in a protective nest. Loaded with snacks he stole from the kitchen via his chest cavity.

He knows when there's something bothering reader and he actively tries in his own goofy way to cheer up reader. Shenanigans ensue.

Monty offers to take care of a reader who is below the weather while freddy persists on himself taking care of reader. Monty just wants to prove himself able to take care of reader despite how rough he usually is

I just need monty to take care of reader when they cannot take care of themselves damn it.

Y/N works in the daycare and is very good with customers, like holy shit when you're in customer service mode you're locked in. Someone wants to say what they are or aren't allowed to do? So sorry, that's not allowed, you know the Fazbear Entertainment policies front to back :)

But as soon as there are no kids or parents around and it's just you and your coworkers, you start cursing and complaining about entitled parents. You love the kids but damn you can tell they haven't been told no once in their life.

Without knowing it, you made an impression on Monty. Whether it's how you don't care that you're cussing on company hours, or how easily you can handle parents while being a sweetheart to their children, he just likes visiting you and getting to know you more as you treat him like just a regular coworker

Monty seems like a tough guy but around y/n he'll be one hell of a softy

Monty loves cuddling even though he won't admit it

Monty gets very excited if y/n talks to him about the stuff they love, he'll support them and might even watch it together with y/n if they feel like it too (movies, concerts, etc)

He seems like a punk but he is a good listener

He is overly protective about y/n and he will protect y/n whenever he can. Looming over everyone who gets too close

Monty loves attention and mostly the attention he gets from his y/n. Sometimes y/n can even make him purr

Monty can be very playful and flirty but as soon as y/n fits his energy, he'll lose focus and start stuttering

Monty loves to spend time with his y/n and sometimes he'll forget that he has to recharge and gets in a lot of trouble with y/n or the Pizza Plex' Mechanics

How would Freddy and Monty react to a clingy s/o? Like literally always hanging off their leg. (NOT in an overbearing way. More in a cutesy they don’t realize they’re being annoying way.)

He does his best to keep you at an arms length when you're in public, and feels bad when he has to pull you off to the side to remind you to act a little more..."professional" in front of the others. It's not that he doesn't like having you with him! He really does! He just...does not want you to get in trouble. Which, both of you would, if management were to catch wind of how "close" the two of you are. (They already have more than a few clues, because Freddy isn't nearly as subtle as he likes to think he is.)

Monty is similar to Freddy in that he tries to act professional in front of people, but he's really bad at hiding his..."preference" for your company. Of which he's been chided for, mostly by Vanessa. Alright, alright, fine! Listen, you two have got to keep things a little more on the down-low, yeah? It's the only way you'll be able to stay together without getting in trouble. It sucks, and he pouts over it every chance he gets...but as long as you can stay with him, he'll learn to deal with it.

Maybe this is a hot take but I don’t think Monty would be a jealous lover. IDK I just feel like it’s not very well-supported by the text other than the /assumption/ that that Monty killed Bonnie* and that he wants to replace Freddy**.

And based on what we see of his behavior in Security Breach, it’s fair to assume that Monty also isn’t a mean animatronic. While Roxanne’s words become downright mean as the game goes on (showing that her insecurities can lead to her being hurtful even though it’s not how she treats/thinks of others 90% of the time), Monty’s lines still mostly take on a reassuring tone even though it’s evident that he’s growing frustrated. And no, I don’t view taking one’s anger/frustration out on inanimate objects is inherently a sign of aggressive behavior towards others.

*Ruin and Help Wanted 2 have made it clear that the exact circumstances of Bonnie being decommissioned are incredibly suspicious as well as the narrative around it that Security Breach established (ie, the idea that Monty did it).

**People usually cite the Freddy cutout that’s halfway in a trash bin at the end of Monty Gator Golf ride, but it’s more likely that this was more foreshadowing to the headless Freddy prototype (same with Freddy’s body and head being separated by Monty’s music whirlwind immediately after).

Chance Meeting

Context, Reader works at Daycare and was leaving the plex now that their shift was over. They saw a rowdy kid being too rough on a certain gator and their parents weren't around. Although the reader is tired, the reader couldn’t stand by and not say anything to the kid, especially when you know that the animatronics aren’t really programmed to tell a kid to back off. One thing led to another and it shouldn’t be a surprise that a kid that thinks he’s allowed to do anything has a parent that lets him do anything as long as it doesn’t disturb them.

“Ma’am, Fazbear Entertainment has full rights to escort you out of the premises for being discourteous in our plex. We ask of you and your family to be respectful to our star members.” You pointedly say with a trained smile on your face. You know the woman’s fuse was on a short timer, a few seconds away from having a meltdown over you telling her kids to act at least somewhat civil to the animatronics.

“HOW DARE YOU!” She bellowed out, her face getting red as she pointed a manicured finger at you.

Yup.

There it was.

You’d would find some humor in her overreaction if you weren’t so tired from your shift.

“You do NOT get to tell me what to do!” She aggressively poked at your chest. “I should call your manager! He’ll get you fired for talking to me like that!”

You resist the urge to roll your eyes and scowl at her, instead standing straight with your feet planted and tipping your head to the side with the same polite smile on your face. “We take customer service seriously here at our Pizzaplex. We also do not allow harassment of workers, it is a serious breach of contract of our terms of services.” You reply back with a calm voice. You can hear the murmurs of the people around you noticing the one-sided screaming match, no doubt your co-workers and managers will hear about this tomorrow. Great.

“I don’t care! I paid to be here and you were the one to ruin it for me and my family!” She jabs you again hard enough to make you take a step back. You clasps your hands in front of you, partially to keep your hands still and partially to give a bit of space between you two.

“If you are dissatisfied with our service, you are more than welcome to file a claim to our customer service office. If that claim is revised through camera footage,” you point to a nearby camera, “audio files, and witness testimony and is deemed as false, you hold a chance of being banned and blacklisted from the Plex. Permanently.” She opens her mouth to retort but you step forward and motion to a nearby Security Bot. “If that is something you wish to avoid, alongside paying for damages done to company property, I strongly advise you to leave for the day.” You watch as she narrows her eyes at you, her gaze flickered from looking at you, behind you, to the security bot and back at you. She scowls but steps back, glaring at you while the security bot starts to guide her to the entrance.

You feel bad for how tight she is holding her son’s hand as she walks away. He looks more embarrassed than her for being told to leave.

“Thank you for your patronage and we hope you have a Faz-errific Day!” You say in your best impression of the bright daycare attendant and wave with a cheery customer service smile as they leave. Once they were far away and the crowd around you lost interest, you turned around and heaved a sigh. Another day, another shitty parent like that.

You open your eyes and freeze when you see the giant animatronic you forgot had been behind you and was the whole reason you were dealing with that mom. Your eyes trail up as you take in the green scale pants, the broad yellow and green torso, the sharp teeth and finally the red eyes behind the star sunglasses.

You look up at Monty and give him an apologetic look, suddenly aware he had been quiet the whole time. “Um, sorry for uh, stepping in like that. Just y’know I’m not really a fan of uh, bratty kids and entitled parents.” You shrug and wave your hands in front of you before fiddling with the collar of your shirt to resist the urge to clear your throat and apologize more. Monty was staring at you unblinkingly, his jaw open enough for you to see a hint of tongue behind sharp teeth. There is the faint sound of a motor whirring but you figure it’s just a noise from somewhere else in the plex.

You stare at him as he stares at you.

Now you’re definitely wishing you were in your car and on your way home. “Do you um, do you need me to call Parts and Service to check if anything-”

“You were able to handle a piece of work parent and now you’re nervous?”  You would be a liar if you denied jumping a bit from hearing him finally talk. You were wanting him to talk of course, but it still caught you off guard. Especially with his voice being deeper than you thought. And he has a southern tilt to his voice box, odd but it’s fitting. He had an eyebrow raised and you realize it’s better to focus on what he asked than think too hard about his voice.

You feel your face getting hot under the scrutiny. This isn’t how you thought your first meeting with any of the Glamrocks would go. “Uh, I mean I deal with shitty parents that don’t actually want to parent their kids all the time so…” You shrug and mumble before you can think better of it. You lean back when he throws his head back as he laughs out loud. It’s a nice laugh to hear; sure it’s rough and gravely, it’s loud, but contagious and so wholehearted that it has you laughing along to the situation as well.

This really is where your life led to isn’t it? You can tell a mom to back off like you’re a lawyer but as soon as you need to talk to a seven foot tall robot gator you forget how to speak. Poof. All ways of talking go out the window. It’s so ridiculous the only thing you can do is laugh. And you can’t find it in you to care if it attracts attention from the crowd this time. It takes a minute before he exhales and makes a motion of wiping away non existent tears from his eyes.

“And you’re cussin in front of me! I could tell on ya if I wanted to y’know. That ain’t very family friendly.“ He cocks his head to the side as he grins down at you, the southern drawl in his voice deepening as he speaks.

You snort as your own laughter dies down to giggle. “I doubt The Montgomery Gator would tell on me for cursing on the job.” You look up at him, his own toothy grin mirrored back by you. You don’t know when you moved closer to him over the short conversation but you’re not feeling the urge to step away just yet.

“You’re not wrong.” He snorts and nods to your shirt as best he can. Or at least you think that’s what you think he was doing. “You sure aren’t what I expected from a daycare worker, y’know?” You look down at the bright lettering of the SuperStar Daycare Staff name tag still clipped on your shirt. With all the ruckus that happened, you completely forgot to take it off once you clocked out of your shift.

"Um, thanks." You weren't quite sure how to respond to that but you figured it was a compliment. You eye up the dented casing on his lower arm. "Are you sure you don't want to call Parts and Services to get that checked out?"

“Nah, m’ handler will check that out when I go down there in a few. You look,” he tips his head to the side as he pauses for a second, “tired, you shouldn’t you be going home now?”

To prove his point, you feel a yawn crawling its way up. You instinctively raise your elbow to hide your yawn and nod at him once it passes. “Yeah, definitely should be on my way home. Hopefully you won’t have to deal with any more shitty parents today.”

“I doubt it.” He says with a chuckle.

“Good good.” You wave at him while you start walking away. “See you around then Monty, have a good night.”

“Goodnight Superstar, don’t be fighting any more parents if I’m not around, you hear?” He lowers his sunglasses to wink at you as you walk away.

You scoff and roll your eyes but still smile at that. You give him one last wave while you make your way to the entrance, fishing out your car keys from your pockets as you leave the plex for the day. You think about the times the little kids at the daycare would say that Monty was scary, but from that little interaction you had with him, you realize he might not be as bad as people make him out to be. You feel a soft smile on your face as you drive home. Hopefully you can run into him and talk to him some more tomorrow, preferably under better circumstances.

What you don’t know you missed is the same gator watching you leave with a fond and curious look on his face, also looking forward to bumping into you while you work.
