“There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is his messenger,” the paramedic is heard saying.
He asks God for forgiveness and says he knows he is going to die:
“Forgive me, mother. This is the path I chose — to help people,” he said.
“Allahu Akbar,” God Is Great!, he says.

What to Do in the Last 10 Days of Ramadan:
1. Give charity daily, even if it's a small amount. If it happens to be Laylat al-Qadr, it's as if you’ve given charity for 84 years.
2. Pray Tarawih regularly or at least two units of night prayer (Qiyam) with 100 verses each day. If it coincides with Laylat al-Qadr, it’s as if you’ve prayed for 84 years.
3. Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas three times before sleeping. If it happens to be Laylat al-Qadr, it's as if you’ve recited the entire Qur’an for 84 years.
4. Recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah every night. If it falls on Laylat al-Qadr, it will be recorded as if you have prayed for 30,000 nights.
5. Say:"La ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir" (100 times). If it happens to be Laylat al-Qadr, it will be as if you freed 300,000 slaves, and freeing even one slave grants freedom from Hell.
6. Send blessings upon the Prophet (Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa Aal Muhammad) 100 times. If it falls on Laylat al-Qadr, Allah will grant you three million mercies.
Then say: "Allahumma ighfir li, warhamni, wahdini, warzuqni."If it happens to be Laylat al-Qadr, your hands will be filled with blessings for 30,000 days.
May Allah help us in doing what He loves and is pleased with, and accept us among His righteous servants.

🌙 Books for Arab American Heritage Month
🌙 April is Arab American Heritage Month, which celebrates the 3.7 million Arab Americans across the country. This is an opportunity to combat Anti-Arab bigotry by challenging stereotypes and prejudices.
✨ One of the best ways to do so is to read books ABOUT Arab Americans. To help, here are a few books for Arab American Heritage Month you can read, discuss, or add to your ever-growing TBR!
✨ Growing up, I didn't have books that represented my experiences as an Arab or Muslim American. My friends didn't have stories to read that could help them understand my perspective. With that in mind, I added children's books on the last slide, for the moms out there searching for diverse books--books that allow us to empathize and understand different perspectives and experiences.
❓QOTD Have you read any of these? What organizations or charities do you support and donate to?

Hunting with falcons in a landscape; verso, calligraphy of Chaghatai Turkish poems in praise of wine, calligraphy by Sultan Muhammad Nur (Persian, c. 1472–1536) and Mirza Muhammad (probably Persian, active c. 1520s), painting by Abd al-Samad. Cleveland Museum of Art (ID: 2013.292). The Mughals hunted on horseback with falcons. The hunting party would ride out into the wild and flush the prey. Then, its hood removed, the falcon would chase the prey and bring it down. From childhood Akbar loved hunting, and this painting may be a rare depiction of Akbar as a youth at the lower left, with the black feather in his white turban. The falcon that has caught a duck has been hooded and is being passed between the young man and his bearded companion. This important work was painted by one of the Persian artists Akbar’s father brought to India from Iran. The inscription at the upper right gives the name of one of the other Persian artists, but it is probably an erroneous later addition.
This page of delicately illuminated calligraphy from the pre-Mughal period was mounted into a Mughal album. The poems are written in the native language of the Mughals, a form of Turkish called Chaghatai, using a flowing form of Arabic script called nasta‘liq. The Mughals self-consciously adopted Persian as their official court language, so few Chaghatai books or works of calligraphy were made for them. The quatrain in the center reads: The wine has made an attempt on my life, Since it is the wine that can wear down the pain of separation. O Sufi! Let the mosque be for you, and the tavern for me, Since you need to arrive at the Spring of Kowsar, while I am in need of wine! The Spring of Kowsar is where the righteous quench their thirst in the afterlife. (Cleveland Museum of Art)

On the sacred night of Al-Isrā’ wal-Mi‘rāj, our beloved Prophet ﷺ informed us that he encountered Prophet Ibrahim (عليه السلام). Ibrahim addressed him, saying: “ya Muhammad! Convey my greetings of peace to your Ummah.” Here, we pause for a moment to reflect on the profound bond between us and Prophet Ibrāhīm (peace be upon him). In the Quran, Allah states:
“The religion of your father, Ibrahim.” (Surah Al-Hajj: 78)
Yes, he is our father. Now, imagine if your own father had passed away, yet somehow found a way to send you one final message. A father, by his very nature, loves his child, fears for his well-being, and desires what is best for him.
And so, our father Ibrahim (عليه السلام) sent us a message through the Messenger ﷺ, urging us to seize the greatest opportunity while we are still in this world.
He continued: “Inform them that Paradise has pure soil and sweet water, yet it is vast and unplanted. Its plantations are: ‘SubḥānAllāh, Alḥamdulillāh, Lā ilāha illa Allāh, and Allāhu Akbar.’”
So increase in planting, and do not waste the opportunity!

All praise is due to Allah for guiding me to the path of Salafiyyah (Ahlul Hadith).
It is through this path that I came to truly understand the essence of Tawheed, the importance of correct Aqeedah, and the obligation of following the Manhaj of the Salaf — the way of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his companions, and those who followed them in righteousness.
Salafiyyah taught me that Islam is not just about outward or set of rituals, but about worshiping Allah with knowledge, sincerity, and clarity. It taught me why we worship, how we worship, and upon whose understanding we worship — firmly grounded in the Qur’an & authentic Sunnah.
It helped me distinguish truth from falsehood and made me aware of the different sects & ideologies that have strayed from the straight path. It taught me the importance of refuting false beliefs with evidence — not to argue, but to protect the Ummah from misguidance — & Also, pray for those who have gone astray, asking Allah to guide them back to the truth.
Salafiyyah taught me that the truth is not measured by numbers. Even if you stand alone, as long as you’re upon the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf, you are upon the truth — because the truth stands firm, whether followed by many or few.
It also made clear that Islam has no room for extremism, terrorism, or rebellion. These are paths of destruction, far removed from the balanced and merciful teachings of Islam. Salafiyyah taught me to oppose such false ideologies with sound knowledge and wisdom,& to always represent the true beauty of Islam.
Through Salafiyyah, I’ve been inspired to seek beneficial knowledge, correct my own actions & character, call others to the truth whenever I can, and strive to remain firm on the straight path — with patience, sincerity, and trust in Allah. Alhamdulillah.
May Allah سبحانه و تعالى keep us steadfast upon the truth, protect us from deviation, and unite our hearts upon the way of the Salaf/Ahlulhadith. Ameen.
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen said: "Everyone must be Salafi; not on the grounds that it is a partisan issue but on the basis that it is the truth." [Al Baabul Maftooh 220]

A Gallery of Mughal Paintings
In this gallery, we present many fine examples of paintings from the Mughal Empire (1526-1857). Espoused and cultivated by the Mughal court, the artform married the bold styles of classical Indian miniature painting, dating as far back as the 9th century, with the more delicate aesthetic of Persian and Deccani artists and European influences from artists such as Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528).
The Mughal Empire, established in 1526 by Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur (1482- 1530) inaugurated 22 emperors, all linked by male descendants to the blood of Babur and through him to his great Central Asian ancestors, Timur Lane (d.1405) on his father’s side and Genghis Khan (c.1162 – 1227) on his mother’s.
Babur, when he came to replace his father on the throne of Fergana at the tender age of twelve, was already well versed in the art of politics, securing immediately the cooperation of his father’s aides and some of his enemies, over the course of his manifold forays into Samarkand and Bukhara. However, unable to conquer the stronghold of Samarkand, he turned southeast towards Afghanistan and took Kabul in a sea of bloodshed. A born strategist, he then claimed dominion over Hindustan (India).
He advised his sons to maintain the respect he, himself, had shown to the religious and cultural sensibilities of the local peoples, especially the ruling classes. This is how the Mughals formed alliances with both Hindu and Muslim feudal rulers, effectively co-opting them as participants in the new empire. The Mughals did not see themselves as imperialists and or conquerors – rather they were princes looking for a homeland; a place where they could live and cultivate what would become a thriving civilization.
The Mughal warrior-politician-strategist-prince was also endowed with an artistic and poetic disposition, as evidenced in their founder Babur’s memoirs, the Baburnama. Thus Mughal emperors, perhaps Emperor Akbar chief among them, promoted a new aesthetic for their court: one that mirrored their commitment to an India that embraced the cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity of its peoples. Craftsmen from northern India (then known as Hindustan) – Hindu and Muslim, came together with Iranian and Deccani masters at Mughal workshops to create a new cosmopolitan style of painting that mirrored the cosmopolitan ethos of its rulers.

A rally outside a Western Sydney public school in support of a staff member stood down after he defended the two Sydney nurses who allegedly made vile anti-Semitic comments heard repeated cries of 'Allahu Akbar'.
On Monday, Sheikh Wesam Charkawi, was ordered to work from home for allegedly breaching the NSW Education Departments' social media policy and code of ethics.
In an Instagram post on February 16, the Granville Boys High School support officer spoke up in support of the two Sydney nurses who were recorded boasting about withholding treatment from Israeli patients and even killing them.
Sheikh Wesam slammed the 'selective moral outrage' of Australian politicians, claiming that the two nurses' comments were 'never meant to be literal or intended to be a threat to patient care'.
After the Western Sydney Imam was ordered to work from home, a rally was organised outside the government-funded school by a group called 'Vote4Palestine' on Wednesday.
Footage of the protests showed at least 150 pupils, parents and members of the community, chanting 'Palestine will live forever' and 'stop arming Israel', while waving Palestine flags.
One individual with a megaphone also led chants of 'La ilaha illallah muhammadur rasool allah', an Arabic phrase that translates to 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger'.
These were followed by chants of 'Allahu Akbar', meaning 'God is most great'.
The single-sex school has about 770 male pupils, 96 per cent of whom are from non-English-speaking backgrounds.
Sheikh Kamel Hamed, the Imam at the nearby Rahme Mosque in Guilford whose four children went to the school, addressed the crowds through a loudspeaker.
'He’s (Sheikh Wesam) a man of honour, a man who loves family, a man who loves peace, a man who love justice and fairness,' he said.
‘Listen to the voice of our youth, they want Sheikh Wesam back. Give them Sheikh Wesam. Do the right thing.'
Ahmed Ouf, an independent candidate who is hoping to oust Education Minister Jason Clare in the seat of Blaxland where the school is located, led the pupils on a call and response chant of 'Who do we want? Sheikh Wesam. When do we want him? Now'.
Daily Mail Australia approached the school for comment.

1. Bacaan Doa Iftitah dan Artinya Pertama
Allahu akbar, kabirau walhamdu lillahi katsira, wa subhanallahi bukrotaw washila
Artinya : "Allah maha besar, maha sempurna kebesaran-Nya. Segala puji bagi Allah, pujian yang sebanyak-banyaknya. Dan maha suci Allah sepanjang pagi dan petang."
2. Bacaan Doa Iftitah dan Artinya Kedua
inni wajjahtu wajhiya lilladzi fatharas samawati wal arha hanifam muslimaw wa ma ana minal musyrikin
"Katakanlah (Muhammad), "Sesungguhnya sholatku, ibadahku, hidupku, dan matiku hanyalah untuk Allah, Tuhan seluruh alam,"
(QS. Al-An'am 6: Ayat 162)

An image follows, “Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “There are seven kinds of martyrs besides those killed in wars, defending the cause of Allah:
A person who is killed in an epidemic
A person who is drowned
A person who has bedsores, causing fever and cough resulting in his death
A person who dies of a stomach disease
A person who dies in fire
A person who dies under falling debris [in a disaster]
A woman who dies during childbirth.”
The quote retweeted post from @ zedonarrival reads: “the islamic use of martyr is making people tremble and piss their pants in the same way allahu akbar did and still does”]
