honestly i kinda wish i was famous. maybe i put a lot of importance on fame. i watch a LOT of reality shows where people are literally just rewarded for existing. and i feel really invisible a lot. i have a lot of relationship issues with other people, strangers, friends, myself, my partner even! because of fame vs invisibility. i think fame comes with a lot of drawbacks but so does invisibility. my favorite saying that to be human is to experience and celebrate paradox: maybe a lot of these famous celebrities also feel invisible. maybe they feel like nobody really understands them as honest people so they are kind of invisible in a very famous way. i guess i'm glad the luxury of not being famous affords me a lot more grace and a lot less consequence, too.

but sometimes i still wish i was famous. i feel like it's the mark of success. fame is getting out of the cog in a machine rat race we all run. fame is being rewarded for being just a little bit more, however that means. maybe that's why i get so jealous of popular bloggers, maybe that's why i'm obsessed with real housewives. it's a lot. i hate being a celebrity to my city. i don't want to be known as the bitchy cashier who's struggling with her self-worth.

i wanna be the 19 year old artist on twitter with 93837562 followers, but i'm just a 31 year old with what i have. it's so hard being okay with that when i really think other marks of success are more valid than mine.

I have a BSc in Ethics, I have MPH and DPH in Public Health, specializing in Ethics and Bioethics. Got those at the University of Toronto. (Go Varsity Blues(?)). We travelled a lot. My wusband works as a day trader at Barclays and is almost certainly screwing his secretary on his desk as I type this.
