racer diluc spotting you in the crowd and putting his fingers to his lips before signing it back to you. he'll wink if he's feeling flirty

racer diluc, when not in a game and just Normally Driving, picks you up from college/work and drops you home. you get some jealous stares but it just fuels your ego

racer diluc showing up in yet another sports car (you swore it was a bugatti last time) to pick you up for a date. he tells you to wear clothes he bought for you, and he's such a gentleman that he buckles your seatbelt himself so he can say, "hold tight, baby," in your ear as he kisses your cheek

racer diluc holds your hand whenever there's a red light (or when the traffic slows) because he doesn't want to risk your safety if he drives with one hand even if he can (you find it hot, to which he chuckles at, but you're too precious for him. after all, he can be hot every other time... hehe)

Then nico is also thrown into the room, and they're forced to hang out.... until toto finds them bc lewis called him, it doesn't last long.

they're both confused over anything else and bond over planning to kill George and Alex.

the spain 2023 brocedes interview COULD ALSO B IDK BC SOMEONE MANAGED TO LIKE CHANGE THE COMMENTATOR'S NAMES AND PUT NICOS AS THE POST RACE INTERVIEWER bc george was sure mercedes would be on the podium or smtg. (max and lando were the distractions and alonso the mastermind, bc who would question alonso) things like this would b so fun.

just a wholesome little fic, f1 drivers to the rescue (brocedes rescue).

you know, various similar events throughout the f1 season and in the end, brocedes start hanging out on their own and everyone's shocked (everyone but the drivers, it was their plan all along)

Just when I was losing faith in Aston Martin this season, this happened!:

Calling it now: Fernando Alonso will win the 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix! (With Lance Stroll by his side~ 😉) Either that or Lewis Hamilton will win his first race of the season to match his teammate George Russell, who won the race last season.

Another thing to add: both Aston Martin boys are popular on Tumblr! 🤯

EDIT: Now Charles Leclerc is trending! MY BABY BOY’S AT NO. 1!!!

i was revisiting the instagram tributes that other drivers posted for seb and it got me thinking about what they would post for max when he inevitably retires in 2028. i think lando and daniels would be funny, pierre and alexs too. not sure who would be on the grid by then but maybe liam or yuki is his teammate and they would post something too. but what has me in a chokehold is what charles’ post could be like. would he post a picture from the karting days? would he have won a championship by then and post one of the two of them from the fia gala? what would his caption be?

As much as I love to live in my delusion-bubble and transform every measly crumb into a three course meal, I’m gonna be real here for a second, I can’t see their posts being as heartfelt as we want them to be 💔

However, I’m a Lestappie through and through so here are a few of my scenarios/opinions (delusion included)

If Max retires first

Charles’ post — logical edition:

Charles’ post would likely be some shot of them driving, maybe Silverstone ‘19, or Jeddah ‘22 with a boring caption along the lines of:

Congratulations on a stellar career.

Charles’ post — Lestappen edition:

My heart screams that he’d pick a post-race embrace (hopefully one day we’ll have a proper one):

Fighting you was some of the best fun I’ve ever had.

The track won’t be the same without you there to push the limits and push me wide.

Enjoy this next chapter, you’ve earned the rest.

If Charles retires first

Max is a big softy, okay. HE would be the one to post them in their karting years, because he is the first to remind everyone they grew up racing each other (to combat the nostalgia of course he’d pick a photo from when he won his CIK-FIA World KZ Championship).

Together from the start until the end.

Well done on all your achievements over the years, mate 👍🏻

It has to be the Austria ‘22 Podium, could it be anything else? Even with his rudimentary (and sometimes obliviously innocent) understanding of social media, in my mind even Max is aware how iconic this moment was.

It pays to never give up on a dream.

Congrats on winning your maiden championship and ending your career on a high. You deserve it.

I hate to admit a piece of me might miss seeing #16 in my mirrors, but thanks for not sticking around to wear my #1.
