Bless this poor book, I've read it a dozen or more times, it will always be one of my favorites! Hailey told me about this book, then we wound up at books-a-million in the middle of the night in Chattanooga a few thousand moons ago. I fell in love with this book not just cuz the author is hella awesome, but it's something my BFF told me about and got me back into my love for reading, so it means more than any other book, I guess you could say. The Gray House by Mariam Petrosyan When I finished reading the first page, I closed the book and froze. This book was written for me, I whispered. To myself, to the book, to Mariam. This book is the strangest mirror, reflecting reality and dreams in constat dance of the light. It is also a book about a house for physically and mentally disabled children. Mariam wrote this book for 20 years, in fits and starts and the only reason she finished writing it was because it was going to printers. I will probably read this book for 20 years too. So I drew Michael trying to catch the star sort of in the style of young howl catching calcifer from the film last night... I think it turned out ok. Swipe for the original. I almost finished the book and I’m not sure what im going to do with myself when it’s done... maybe try a wrinkle in time again or maybe reread Percy Jackson so I can finally read all the sequel series. I also have a bunch of audiobooks to listen too before I’m allowed to buy more 😅. If anyone as any suggestions for super easy to read book but has got a good story.
