Nautalis fights with an anchor on a really long chain, bcuz of course he does.

And Maundevir has a sword. They're really not great with the sword. Inarius keeps giving them other weapons to try, but they're even worse with those, so sword it is. Not much of a warrior.

we have more weapons to share! so lets get into it.

First up we have the custom E-liter 4k,a flip on the eliter 4k. it comes with squid beakon and kraken royale! what a combo!

and of course,it has a scope version too! this has no differences except longer range.

our 2nd weapon is the Custom explosher! a fancy new modified version of the explosher. works the same as the regular thing but with splashwall as a sub and if the heavyness of the explosher wasnt enough,it also comes with triple splashdown to really slam down onto the enemies!

We have a new recolored weapon! the nautalis 79. betcha didnt see that comin! anyways,this heavy guy has suction bomb as a sub and splashdown. what a kit for a weapon like this!

and as our final weapon we have the glooga dualie deco,a simple decorated version of the glooga dualies. With point sensors sub and inkzooka special you can easily hit enemies from across the field!

13. When do they fake a smile? How often?

Faking is such an ugly expression. Sometimes (often) a gentleman just wants to be polite, no matter how dull their conversation partner may be.

19. What would they do if stuck in a room with the person they’ve been avoiding?

Tackle the problem head on, so to say. There's no more use avoiding them now — might as well steer the conversation onto safer waters before they get a chance to confront you.

41. What phrases, pronunciations, or mannerisms did they pick up from someone / somewhere else?

Though my vocabulary was in no dire need of expanding, I have picked up some charming phrases from the one and only Inspector Nautalis. The lengths to which that man will go to in an attempt to avoid calling a thief a thief are unbelievable. Rapscallion, scalawag, miscreant, scoundrel... Sometimes I wonder if the Constables have to read his reports with the Thesaurus open on the desk.

47. Who have they forgotten about that remembers them very well?

Rather hard for me to answer a question that refers to a gap in my memory... Though I'm certain that amongst my numerous dalliances there are some that while they didn't mark me, they certainly marked the other person. Lead to an awakening of sorts, perhaps. 🌈

Maytroid!… sort of?

So contrary to my name, I don’t actually do a whole lot of art. It’s quite rare in fact. What I do more often, though, is write. I made a previous post about some tidbits about my own Metroid AU I’m working on. So naturally, for me, I wanted to do something similar for Maytroid. However, I felt like prattling on about the different characters and creatures for each prompt would get old pretty fast. So instead, I’m gonna style these like data logs that Samus Aran might have scanned throughout her various missions. There will be some areas that may change in the future, especially where I’m approaching the topic for the first time, like with Z-57. To avoid spam, I’m going to group these into weeks, releasing a group of these “scans” every Friday up until the end of May. Without further ado, let’s begin. 

Day 1: Ruins Test

Biological scans indicate individual is 572 DY, making him middle aged by Diamont standards. Hormone and body language readings indicate he is experiencing immense and repeated emotional distress.

Day 5: Experiment Z-57

Battle Scan

Creature appears to be Corpius specimen with heavy biological modification. Immediately identifiable modification include various flesh grafts, four bio-prostheses, poison glands, and a low intensity plasma cutter. Scarred into the creature’s flesh are the Chozo words “Hadar sen Olmen”. The end result of the modifications is increased speed and dexterity, heat resistance, a poisonous bite to unarmored bio forms, and a powerful ranged attack.
