okay so this is random but i just wanna say something about Le Sserafim performance to ‘Smart’. i personally LOVE the song. I love the afro-beat mixed in with the korean/english lyrics, not a lot of korean artist has come out with a song with afro-beat, so this is prolly one of my TOP songs atm.

MY MAIN ISSUE is the amount of ppl complaining that the dance was too “inappropriate” for Eunchae.😒 like what?? i watched the performance and to me, yes there was some booty shaking but it wasn’t like the choreo had them doing anything more obscure, literally just some booty shaking and body rolls.

i guess the main issue (according to netizens) is bc Eunchae is underage and is dancing “inappropriately” BUT really it’s just people who are sexualizing it. it won’t be a huge problem if a underage male idol was dancing “inappropriately”, he will be praised as “hot” or “sexy”. like bro made that make sense.

i know many ppl will agree with my statement that it wasn’t inappropriate, and that people just sexualize too many things 🙄

AND honestly for any afro-beat song you have to dance “sexy” ain’t no way ur gonna do a whole difference dance to that type of beat. (even tho it maybe possible)

I’m just gonna say it. 

People (and in this case ATLA fans) who pop onto your post and purposely or ‘inadvertently’ start an argument with you, push you to decide to put some effort into your replies to them (and expose them in the way they thought they had exposed you) and then send back a final mocking response to you--only to block you on your own post before you can even read what was said--are just some of the most puzzling and pitiful beings. 

Especially when they likely never actually thought about the main point made in your post in the first place. Makes me wonder how many have blocked me solely for defending myself, or even without talking to me because they didn’t like the discussions I had.

I know, I know. This is typical for the internet. It’s just so damn sad, is all I’m saying. Robbing yourself of a chance to learn something about yourself or what you like. I know I’m not always right can be harsh at times, no doubt--but I do reflect at least! (And I’d like to think that I’ve more or less grown out of all such behaviors.) I’m also sorry to anyone’s whose feelings I’ve hurt before, including ones who were actually open to conversation, not text battle. Don’t stop calling me out if need be but please allow me to read and learn too!

. the dichotomy of kpoppers .

many kpop fans are aware of the present controversies and troubles in the industry and general fandoms, but I'd say most are hiding behind others. bigger names (with more of a following) in the kpop fandoms who form opinions and share them online on platforms such as, youtube, tiktok, etc.. those who need the opinions of others are will use this to clank to any sort of numbers as an advantage and base to spread hate. then there are those who will spread positive opinions, even when something is receiving much hate and will attract many kpoppers in joining their views of certain situations and comebacks.

you may be curious as to why I've brought attention to this. but I want to address the geniuine cowardice of many kpoppers, not because it aggravates me, but because it spreads so much negativity to artists.

the kpop industry has very unseen culture and engagement, which brings out different sides of people, and we can see that the majority of kpoppers see idols as docile people to unleash their anger upon and to bully for their own problems insensitively. and for that-- distinguishing between kpoppers who listen to kpop because they genuinely like it, and those who "listen" to kpop for the hate culture of it isn't a problem.

I'm not saying you shouldn't address idols for their controversies (especially if they involve racial insensitivity), but many just nitpick every single action from idols. who are constantly on camera and showcased. they've chosen to work towards this point in their career, but they're also humans, who are always being filmed. consider if you had an irrelevant moment of yours replayed on the internet for sasaengs and obsessive kpoppers to over analyze and obsess over? it's just weird seing the disgusting behavior from netizens who may even fail to address their own humanity.

Startled by the echoing ringing of her phone, she jumped. Checking revealed the caller to be Mark. "Hello." She answered. "Hey, I think you should go over to the dorm," He retorted. She sighed whilst pinching your nose bridge. "What's the matter?"

"Renjun said something about Jisung having a breakdown." he added

"Okay I'm on my way."

"Okay."

Sighing for the second time, I took my car keys from the side table. I threw on some sweats and left the high rised apartment. Twenty minutes later I was running up to the building entrance. I pressed the buzzer alerting the members of my arrival, soon enough I was allowed in. I ran to the 5th floor, my lungs struggling to breath. Entering the apartment I had greeted the unfamiliar people occupying the room. "Where is he?" I asked. "Right over here."

Renjun pointed to the door that seemed was closed. You walked over to it gently knocking thrice. "Can I come in?" You quired. There was no response as you heard his faint sniffle. You asked once again if you could've entered the room. "Maybe he just wants to be alone" Mark expressed. You looked around seeing how members have now gathered hearing about Jisung. You were sad to hear him say that hence you slowly backed away from the door.

But once you did the door was unlocked. "Can we talk?" he asked his voice emotionless as he walked by you, toward the dorm exit. Both of us now standing in the hallway of the apartment building.

"I've been trying to get to you and your phones been off."

"I've been busy." I retorted. "Funny, I'm sure when Mark called you over you weren't busy enough to answer his calls." He replied. "What are you trying to get at Jisung?" I pressed raising my voice a little. "Do you love me?" he responded running his hand through his hair. I shook my head in disbelief. "Is it wrong of me to ask, cause it seems you haven't been lately" his eyebrow raising. "I've been busy."

"Jinja," he sighed shaking his head in disbelief. "I'm a fucking idol Y/N, and I still make time for you..!" he exclaimed. "Are you trying to say my job dosent make me busy!" I quickly made a comeback. "Thats not what I meant." He replied. "Thats what it sounded like"

You sighed not wanting to deal with this conversation anymore. "I honestly can't handle your delusional and crazy 'fans'." You said putting emphasis on the fans. "You know how hard it is just going about my day and I'm getting backlash for being someone's girlfriend."
