Season 1 Voting Plan

Ae'timezone stripes, today we bring you the preliminary voting sheet for this inaugural season of new blaseball. The results of the poll will remain open on discord until the Internet League Championship ends, but barring anything crazy (which could still happen), these should be the targets we'll be going for.

The main information is underneath the cut, but for a more in-depth read with percentage allocation you can check our voting spreadsheet here. And remember to log your votes, whether you are following the plan or not, with this form!

For this season, the team has decided to exclusively focus on Blessings, which means Decrees are up to each stripes' personal preference, if any.

As for our Blessings, they are as follows:

PRIMARY GOAL

NEW Batting Boost

Your Team's Batting is boosted by 1 Star.

We had the second fewest runs in the entire league for Season 1, so we could definitely use the batting improvement. We have middling-to-decent pitching and the best defense in the league, but we still need to score runs to win.

SECONDARY GOALS

Guess Whose Thwack

Boost your Lineup's Thwack by 1 Star.

NEW Team Boost

Your Team is boosted Overall by 1/2 a Star.

NEW Steal Best Batter

Steal the best Batter from the Black Hole for your Team.

NEW Max Out Batter

Max out a random Batter on your Team's Zone.

All of these improve our bats one way or another, which is what we want to focus on. These are ordered from most to least relevant, but they should all be helpful for our team.

AVOID

Strike Zero

A Division Rival will receive the worst Overall Player from the Black Hole.

YEET

Send your Team's worst Player into the Black Hole and receive a random Player back.

These are not actively beneficial to us as a team, and could even hurt us in the case of Yeet.

imo one of supernatural's greatest weaknesses is what i'm going to call its locational homogeneity. like. obviously this is largely a side effect of filming a show set all over the united states in the same small area of canada for 15 years but there's just a certain sameness to every location and every episode that's uncanny at best and breaks immersion at worst. they should have gone all in on southern gothic horror and spooky old northeastern coastal towns and rural midwestern isolation and instead it's just episode after episode of identical suburbs with arbitrary location titles slapped over them. the seasons never change. the weather is always mild, never with extreme enough temperature or precipitation to require a change from the standard jacket-over-flannel-over-tee costuming even when we see snow on the ground. this episode is set in the summer in idaho. no, wait, it's set in the winter in kentucky. this episode is set in the summerfallwinterspring in kansachusettohiowa. sam and dean travel all over the country and yet stay completely still. supernatural shows us a massive world and it does not turn and absolutely no one lives in it.

eleven is fascinating to me because he came right off the back of tens horrible traumatic breakdown after he lost everything and he immediately tried to establish himself as the opposite of that. he is funny and goofy and almost childlike, and he bulldozes on in his adventures with amy like nothing happened at all. but then something happens and his masks slips and it's like oh! the core of this man is still anger. he is so so angry all of the time and this façade is the only thing stopping him from being consumed by it. he isn't over any of it and he hasn't moved on. he is wearing a fez and laughing but under that all that exists is age old anger and grief and it is going to consume him

BTV has announced that the new season of Inspector Spacetime will be broadcast on 11 May 2024.

For those outside of the U.K., the first two episodes will drop on Warner Bros. World Plus at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (midnight UK Summer Time) on 10 May 2024, 16 hours before it appears on BTV.
