i like to think that sung hyunjae’s house decor is just really fucking ugly. not because it’s like. badly arranged or messy. but because where there should be your typical rich person ‘famous painting on the wall’ type stuff there is instead some framed thing and when you get closer it’s just the fucking rosetta stone. and people will be like how do you even have that??

but anyone (anyone who is rich*) can get a painting. there’s famous art on every world. shj wants something new, something novel. something that is undeniably specific to earth. something that’s hard to get, regardless of whether he even likes it or not. because he’s also more interested in showing that he CAN get whatever he wants than actually WANTING anything.

his entire aesthetic also probably changes every month because once he gets bored of the items decorating his house they go off into a seseong guild closet somewhere

This seems to be a reference to Lorentz transformations? The first formula is apparently a derivation, and seems to be the inverse of the time part of the transformation (there's a space part too), for what I've been able to find.

The second formula is Newton's second law.
