The sea churns with life and is so still you can hear the thrum of your own body suspended in it's depths. This contradictory nature fuels the oceans existence. I lived there for a while. It was unpleasant. It was very pleasant.

In the sunny countryside of Iowa stands a town named ivend burg its so tiny you can't even see it on a map .this town is a hot spot for super natural occurrences like man eating plants ghosts and Spector's. People often come hear to study or capture said ghost but most disappear and are never seen again .their is a Lot to do down here in old ivend burg like bowling with....some kind of skull or if thats not to your liking maybe a hike to see the ever elusive sascrab !!...its like the sasquatch but a huge crab

This is making me so nostalgic I’m losing my mind tbh. Suddenly it’s 2013 and I’m 21 again listening to this quirky radio host chitchat about his first date with a very perfect scientist. Voice part….? Not sure what you mean by that. Unless you’re asking what happened to during my surgery! And honestly…I’m not sure what happened through. I was dragged into a back alley for my appointment and was knocked out one minute. Then, I woke straight up in my house!

Dylan Marron…Dylan Marron…that sounds familiar…I have my brother Dylan! He’s, heh, kinda why I wanted to change my voice in the first place. His was always so attractive and I wanted to… *Carlos looks around, making sure no one was there.* Don’t tell Cecil I ever told you this, but I did it for him. I just wanted to impress him. My old voice just seemed so… eurgh. That’s the best way to explain.

And my favorite mollusk? Definitely an octopus!! The fact that they have so many arms is so scientifically interesting!! Just imagine all the hugs they could give.

I’m not sure why you know about the phantom ocean or the fact I was even associated with it, but I’m going to ask you to stay away. No matter how tempting it all looks, with its scientifically interesting concept and beautiful phantom waves…

DnD Idea #6

Now that I'm in a campaign I don't have as much motivation to post these, but something came to me this afternoon that is too niche for anyone but Tumblr to appreciate, so here it is:

DnD in Night Vale.

Just think about it. You could have the usual classic races, and no one in Night Vale would bat an eye. Or you could use Night Vale races: five-headed dragon, transient, shapeshifter (though that one might be more of a class), fist-shaped river rock.

Classes would be taken from the classic DnD, but canted way far towards weird. Instead of rogue, you could be an agent of a vague yet menacing government agency. Instead of a fighter, Secret Police. Instead of monk, a member of Tamika Flynn's teenage militia.

Combat would involve things like librarians, tiny people from the city below the bowling alley and Arcade Fun Complex, Strangers, or even--though maybe only as a boss fight--Street Cleaners.

Clerics to the Woman From Italy, the Distant Prince, Huntocar, or That Beagle. Warlocks bound to the Faceless Old Woman Who Secretly Lives in Your Home, or to the City Council, or to Station Management.

Every session would have a fifteen-minute break for the weather, which always happens at precisely the same time even if it's in the middle of a crisis moment. Music plays during the break, entirely unrelated to what's happening (or is it??).

The DM would narrate everything with little editorial comments like Cecil would--sometimes profound, sometimes ridiculous.

I'm geeking out, y'all. Can we do this?

Whew it’s been a HOT minute y’all

Mun here! I’ve been binging WTNV the last few days (I was over 100 episodes behind and now I’m about 72 eps behind!) which put me in the mood to RP once more. No idea if the RP scene still exists since I only log into my main acct once every few months, go on a reblog spree, and then fuck off for a few more months.

Scientifically speaking, all science is neat. There is no way of picking between science-es and claiming which one is the neatest. It’s like picking a favorite child. Impossible. Though, I will say, my favorite part of doing science is when you can do it with the ones you love. Even when they don’t understand “why is the kitchen sink glowing bright pink again?” It’s all part of the scientific process.

Khosey is doing well, I must say. I haven’t seen him much since I’m allergic— but, with my hazmat suit and very scientific goggles, I can give him the pets he deserves.
