1. wrote a 9 page essay in an hour for my packet and sent off the whole thing to my advisor
2. dressed in real clothes
3. took care of my energy today by getting easy meals
4. went to get bivalent shot and flu shot at once
5. actually drove myself to the pharmacy for it
6. finished Glück's The Wild Iris
7. participated in a book club
8. brushed and flossed my teeth
9. ate 3 meals today. half a bowl of noodles with half a tablespoon of butter, a beyond burger and fries, and vegan tenders with sour cream and onion chips. okay maybe its 2.5 meals. but still!!
10. resisted getting fast food! (fast food avoidance isnt because fast food is bad - it isnt inherently bad, a calorie is a calorie - its because it would have triggered a relapse from fear)
11. sat in the sun for a while
12. shared a poem with a new friend
tomorrow i hope to:

Could you talk about Tate’s toothcare routine and favorite products? And children’s teeth on a vegan diet?
talk to your dentist!  we use a bevy of different toothbrushes and toothpastes and washcloths.  the number 1 enemy of the teeth is sugar so brush after any sugary treat or food.  three times a day minimum.  use Youtube vids or what ever you can to get in there and brush and floss.  we have bubblegum, apple, watermelon, etc you name it.  mostly xylitol toothpastes and about 10 different tooth brushes and ask him which he’d like.  we use those mini fluoride flossing pics.  he still doesn’t spit so no fluoride toothpaste, yet.  for all the anti fluoride people, I hear you, but you have to take that in context with the diet.  we do our best and there is still a lot of added sugar, nothing approaching to anything like what a typical US child eats, but no amount of added sugar is safe on teeth.
