Terminus
I found the two-headed baby deer dying on a bed of soft pine needles under cover of an overturned oak not five kilometres from my cottage. Its lungs still pumped, and its crimson heart beat weakly through a thin, translucent skin that decayed before my eyes until there was no skin and all the organs lay warm and still in a heap upon the earth like waste.
A god evaporated.
It is human nature to disbelieve that one may be witness to epochal events, so I did not believe that I, of all people, should be witness to the death of time.
Epochal: the concept itself is dead.
How lucky we were to know time at its cleanest and most linear!
We know now that such constant linearity was the consequence of a living entity. It followed the creature like stench follows a skunk, and we basked in it as if it was the natural state of the world.
No more.
Time no longer heals. Things do not pass, or pass only to return.
At first we believed this would be manageable. Yes, we thought, we will relive our pain but also our love. Everything shall be magnified! Welcome to an age of great emotions, a new Romanticism!
Yet we overestimated how much we help. We failed to accept how much we hurt.
And we did not realize the nature of evil, which accumulates in a way love does not. To re-experience our love is to know it again and again at the same intensity, but to re-experience pain is to increase its volume until it overpowers us, deafening us to everything else.
I will never forget the creature's eyes, full of hatred or hubris yet seeking aid it knew I could not give.
How does one save a dying god?
It was not my fault!
I was but a child asked suddenly to solve a deathbed equation expressed in an undiscovered mathematics. I had to fail, yet in failing I have brought it all upon us.
I relive it constantly.
Every time its eyes are louder.
But it is the hour for my afternoon walk, so I will take a pause and enjoy what remains of living.
I will go to my favourite spot overlooking the city and sit on the iron bench, from where the view is magnificent. Above me, the clouds will form, a tangle of pain and human corpses, and I will sit and ponder until the first blood drops fall. Then the screaming will begin and the final storm will rage. Beating, crimson corpse-clouds under a thin skin of dissipating reality, raining blood until we are left warm and still upon the earth…

Let's explore the concept of time from a non-linear perspective. Imagine our reality as a vast landscape, where different points in space are like different countries, separated by physical distance. For example, if you live in the US and your family is in Italy, these two locations exist simultaneously, separated by an ocean. If planes stop flying, you can't travel there, but the locations still exist.
Now, let's expand this concept to include time. From a non-linear viewpoint, or a "larger system," time periods separated by thousands of years can be seen as distinct locations that exist concurrently, much like the US and Italy. They are always there, it's just that our capacity to "travel" there is currently limited.
To understand this better, think of our reality in digital terms, like a massive database. Each point in time and space is a location in this database where data can be read from or written to. Our typical perception of time dictates that we can only write data in forward increments, effectively "locking" us out of the past.
However, our database is part of a larger system, a super-database if you will. From this higher perspective, all points in time and space are accessible. It's like running a scan on the database that necessitates locking it until the scan is complete. Our current perception of time is a result of this "lock," which is temporary and will eventually be lifted.
This concept helps explain the belief in higher planes of existence that aren't bound by our linear perception of time. These planes operate without these restrictions because the "database lock" doesn't apply to them. Our current time-bound state is temporary and will eventually give way to a reality where all points in time and space can be accessed freely.

Exploring nonlinear time and quantum mechanics in ‘Arrival’ and Ted Chiang’s ‘Story of Your Life’ reveals how language can reshape our perception of reality. The depiction of nonlinear time was truly remarkable! 🛸📚 #NonlinearTime #QuantumMechanics #ArrivalMovie #TedChiang

The "time" in its essence is nonlinear - the past can be rewritten and thus it cannot be called time, but something else entirely.

The human body is being a very good teacher to me of late. Somersaulting in the air and falling splat on the ground feels like the most natural thing to do in hindsight. And yet when my partner flipped me over in class earlier today, I realised it was something I hadn’t experienced since I was a child. And for a split second it was an outer-body experience. Primarily cos my psychological mind got no chance to label or categorize the event real-time at the speed it happenned in. Which can’t help but bring me to the conclusion that the human experience minus the psychological mind is an outer-body experience by default - and it’s polar opposite, the mind-body experience is an inherently intellectual concept at best which falls apart instantly during events which the everyday brain can’t put in a box based on archival information. As children, I’m pretty sure we were having outer-body experiences all the time until language, words, conditioning and other labels eventually put it away in boxes going on to create an objective reality. One that a machine this powerful (the psychological mind) eventually managed to cloud the non-linear self with layers and layers of information with the passage of time, another concept increasingly debatable in it’s existence. Point being, I had an awesome day. Hope you did too. 🙏🏽 . . . . . . . . #nonduality #mindbodysoul #nonlineartime #nonlinearself #martialarts (at Planet Earth)

In the grand theater of existence, consider two metaphors - the Staircase and the Room.
The Staircase represents our human experience of reality. Each step is a moment in time, and we climb this staircase one step at a time, moving ever upward. We can look back at the steps we've climbed, remember them, learn from them, but we can never descend back down. Forward is the only direction we can go. This linear journey is our way of sorting through the data of existence. Each step is an event, a memory, a piece of data that we process and integrate into our understanding of the world.
Meanwhile, the Room represents a different, higher-dimensional plane of existence. Within this Room, there are no steps, no enforced sequence of events. All points in space and time exist simultaneously, accessible in any order. This Room offers a holistic view of reality, where all the data - all events, all moments - can be perceived at once. Entities in this Room can interact with the data in a non-linear fashion, experiencing events not in a sequence, but in an intricate web of interconnected moments.
These two metaphors - the Staircase and the Room - provide contrasting ways of perceiving and interacting with the data of existence. While we climb the Staircase, moving linearly through time, we may aspire to one day perceive the full scope of the Room, to experience the non-linear, interconnected web of reality in its entirety. As we ascend each step, we inch closer to understanding the grand tapestry of existence that unfolds within the Room.

Expanding our understanding, our consciousness, necessitates that we craft a personalized framework, a foundational structure from which we can uncover the obscured portions of our perception. Consider our familiar, linear concept of time - it serves us well within our daily realities. However, to fully engage with the grander, cosmic system we're part of, we must be ready to cast aside such linear limitations.
In the realm of the larger universe, time as we know it ceases to hold sway. Instead, we encounter a non-linear existence, where everything is happening simultaneously, collapsing past, present, and future into a singular point of 'now'. This concept may seem daunting, and it's perfectly alright if you don't grasp it immediately. If the understanding of non-linear time eludes you, let that be your initial goal. Strive to comprehend this principle first, for it forms the very basis upon which greater expansions of consciousness can occur.
Without a clear grasp of this concept, progressing further might prove challenging. Like a key that unlocks a door, understanding non-linear time opens the way to vast, unexplored territories of consciousness. So, set your sight on this understanding and, step by step, build the unique framework that will guide your journey to expanded consciousness. Remember, every profound journey starts with a single, determined step.
