isn't it like so crazy how lack of diversity in character design genuinely makes people more bigoted and reactionary like you wouldn't think it would be that important that most animated women look identical but it validates peoples biases to the point that even just seeing fat/non white/disabled/etc characters in places people don't think they belong will make them fly into a hateful rage. people will try to hyperbolize saying stuff like "wow whats next an anime protagonist who is a fat bisexual trans woman in a wheelchair???" when not only are they describing a massive demographic of people but the media we create is already weird for not including them. I know people have been saying this for decades but its something I think about whenever I end up stumbling upon those kinds of reactionary online communities where people get genuinely upset when looking at cartoon drawings of fat people

not to get discoursey on the nsfw account but you do realize both "chasers fetishizing trans women for penises they may/may not have/want to use is wrong and should be warned against to young vunerable insecure trans women" and "some trans women feel indifferent or even positive about their genitals/using them during sex and/or might not want bottom surgery and theyre still equally trans women to the trans women who do have bottom dysphoria or have/want bottom surgery and also deserve protection from chasers" can both be true right? i just dont think its fair to try to erase those members of the community because they might not align with your standards for "real" or "safe" trans women who "deserve" to be trans and safe from chasers ykwim? am i making sense?

hey! i’m doing a little study thing to prove a point (honestly terrified to send this ask, been thinking about it for weeks) and i totally understand if you’re not comfortable enough to answer. i gen get it, there’s no pressure. what are your current views on like, ermmmmm, religion things? specifically chrisitanity? i’m excepting negative and positive answers lol
hi! well i have a pretty neutral view of religion in other people as a whole if that makes sense? like its just their thing and it doesn’t impact my life (obviously apart from when arguing with right wing religious extremists but thats a very specific minor case) like live your life man. i got baptised catholic but my parents never practiced so even though i went to catholic school to a few years its not important to me. sometimes depictions of religion make me a bit uncomfortable so ill block tags etc but its purely a personal thing ^_^

You’re probably tired of talking about it by now, but the anon saying you’re “average” weight is also just really weird in policing who can and cannot draw fat bodies? Like thin and average artist both can and should draw fat people? Only allowing fat people to draw ourselves in art feels super alienating and weird. There is no reason any artist should not portray fat people, that’s part of being an artist
I WAS SAYIN THIS TOO, if I was thin this whole time, how would that change the art I make at all? If a thin person has a portfolio full of art of fat bodies, is that or is that not literally something good? Wouldn't that be a nice thing? To finally be a subject in art? Something we want to see? Something meaningful? Should I be cancelling leonard nimoy for his photography while we're here? Crazy, I thought we found it to be beautiful art. Turns out he wasn't in his lane!

dune potential spoilers
Okay there's a longer post abt this coming up and I really gotta read Messiah before I make that one because I'm sure my thoughts will change after reading -- was gonna wait but I can't hold it in any longer & I gotta say it now -- from what I've heard about Children of Dune this is uhhhh Not the case (though I understood it to be for a long time after misinterpreting a spoiler) but long story short I'm convinced the third film will end with Paul dying in the desert. possibly he is already dying from some other cause (more on that later) and knows his time is up, possibly Chani finds him & kills him out there, possibly both, but I'm convinced. I feel like if it's true and Denny V. isn't adapting COD ergo the trilogy ends there....there's really no other way to end it.
