Here's a nondescript gut, and all the layers of it separated:

First off- guts are shiny, the more wetness effect you can achieve the better! ✨ Secondly, organs aren't just red and pink! The more colours you can add into the organs, the more realistic they'll look: Blueish, grey, dark red, browns, purpleish, a faded or muted pink, etc.

Now- of course, if you're going for something more "fun" or a cartoonier style, this doesn't technically have to apply! 💚

Here's some gut colours, and what a little blood and shine can do to them!

Smudge tools and highlights are your BEST FRIENDS with gore, and honesty the lazier your smudging, the better, guts are messy, so make a mess!

I grew up in a hunting family, so I did always have good reference material on hand! <:]

Tutorial videos on how to clean/dress an animal you’ve caught hunting (gutting and skinning tutorials)

Gory movies!

That sound a lil too out of your personal comfort zone? More good references are: 🥩

Raw meat! Raw meat is a great reference for how muscles work, and how they are supposed to look colour-wise and otherwise!

*There’s quite a few organ meats (offal) that people consume! So honestly, just search images of “organ meats”! You’ll get a variety of gut colours, beautifully plated, and possibly garnished ✨🍽️🌿

Other people’s art styles! Look at a bunch of internet images for Goretober or just study an artist’s gore style you love! Compare the way multiple people draw viscera, cuz there’s no right way! :D

Gory video games / look up some horror game death scenes!

More fun touches, if you’re going the realistic route, are veins and fat deposits! :] ^

So I was looking at king dedede's car for reference and I realized that the .fandom page calls it a limousine?

Which isn't *Wrong* per-say. It does technically qualify as a limousine since he (for the majority of the time) is chauffeured around in it. Wikirby calls it a racecar which is much better in my opinion. I dunno if any of the source material like any of the reference pages or if anyone on the team mentioned what the inspiration was for the shape of the car Buuuuut neither wiki says anything about it so, I'm going to say what it looks most like to me.

It looks a lot like a 1930 convertible sedan to me!

Specifically it looks a lot like a Rolls Royce Phantom II

It has the cloth top, the rectangular windshield, the mounted headlights, the beautiful curved fenders, and of course that signature shaped grill in the front! The entire shape of this car just screams Old Money which suits Dedede's aesthetic in the show perfectly.

Anyways, I think Dedede's car would be considered a sports car since it Can be used for racing, but has mostly been used for everyday things. Sports cars are made to go fast, but also for comfort and eye catching designs. Just calling it a limousine is glossing over all of the nuance that comes with cars and what jobs they serve.

Eventually the human is asked to produce taxidermy for other yautja because it shows how truly gigantic some of their kills are... MAYBE THE YAUTJA ASK FOR TAXIDERMY OF THEMSELVES

Bookshop date with Sebek - but as an artist, I have this idea.

Yushka and Sebek have already been on a few bookshop dates, but this time she suggests trying something new.

Before the date, they each pick a book (maybe by visiting the bookshop separately in advance). Then, on the date, Sebek - being so eloquent - describes the book cover he chose, and she makes a very rough sketch of the book cover she chose for him.

Now they both have to find the books they originally had in mind, just from the description and sketch.

If they succeed, they buy or borrow the books they found and read them before their next date. And the next dat will be about discussing the books and sharing their thoughts. 💚💚

We’ve seen how crazy yet lowkey romantic the Beetlebabes wedding is, so that makes me wonder: what do you suppose their wedding night would be like?

I have to say I hadn't thought about this one yet! How could their wedding night go?! Hmm... Let's muse about it for a bit then! ✨

It looked like he really enjoyed being tossed around by Delores on their wedding night, and he went pretty wild himself. But what I see in that scene is that Betelgeuse is a man who will match your freak. So whatever Lydia's freak is, this man will match it. I think he's the kind of man who will very enthusiastically let his lady do to him whatever she wants in bed, and he'll make sure she's enjoying herself. But Lydia better be ready, because, you better believe it, he's gonna bring his own freak too. 😏

There will be a lot of tender loving as well, no doubt. Beej has been waiting for this night for years, and Lydia, I'm sure has never been loved the way Beej loves her (sorry Richard, you can't be compared lol), and he's gonna pour all of that love and desire onto her with a passion Lydia didn't think possible. Honestly I think my corp V 'coincidentally' looking a lot like Kerry for sinister gay reasons that only serves to cause messy gay problems would. Actually just make it harder for Johnny to admit he's catching feelings for him 💀

it brings up a lot of those repressed feelings Johnny had with Kerry back then, and I'm not even talking about the 'im not gay like that, ker' repression, I already have my own opinions on that always being the default for silverdyne (summed up to: Johnny being bi was nothing new to him considering he had been fucking around w dudes since the 00s, AND both men in the band, like he might've not worn a bi flag to pride but I don't think it was actually something he was THAT resistant to) I mean literal emotional repression, of him not being able to admit he cares this much about someone and being mad and angry and resentful of himself for it, to let someone get that close and under his skin, and the ways in which he acts out to push them away and punish them for it before pulling them back in. Like he might not want them to see under the thick veneer he's crafted of his image, but he also doesn't really want to give it up either, because beneath that veneer is that still very real, very deep desire for connection he evidently has. Something he has to confront before he ever lets himself have. Which I think would make the oil fields that little bit more impactful. Not only would he be there asking for V's trust while also saying 'trust me back', but he's also openly admitting to wanting this connection in a way. So later with Kerry's questline and the closure it's meant to represent for Kerry, Kerry not only realizing he wants something more out of this life then what he's settled for and been roped into, but also burying that silver armed hatchet, while there Johnny is throughout all this also finding his own closure in not only admitting he's starting to love V, but that he had loved Kerry too. At one point, and maybe still. A hatchet Kerry just buried and a hatchet Johnny was only now starting to dig up.
