I love it it feels so much like elf 😭😭 my favorite part was when ken was like “I think I’ll stay over tonight” and Barbie’s like “why? 😄” I love that it’s camp and colorful and theatrical not dull and realistic like every other live action ever. I am strangely not really against will Farrell being in it and that is said with no knowledge of him as an individual beyond the limited exposure I have of his career so if he’s a dick I take that back

YEA!! it looks like its going to be very visually fun. also i have literally no idea about farrell as a guy but i think i was accidentally scarred and given a bias against him when i watched him smear his ballsack across a drumkit in stepbrothers. im pretty sure this was the first movie i ever saw him in </3

You know one of the craziest things that ever happens in Ninjago is Lloyd's Whole Situation. Like.

For the first few seasons he's this bratty small child with major daddy AND mommy issues and causes petty problems everywhere that he possibly can that only ends up evolving into worse problems (also has a bowl cut)

Then after he learns he's the legendary Green Ninja and practically gives up his entire childhood, skipping right into his teens. And still has a bowl cut (I think), still has daddy issues and sort of mommy issues, that goes away and comes back quite a few times and he thinks he's lost his dad forever.

And then, grows up just a few years more, is this wonderfully handsome (PLATONICALLY) and lovely honorbound ninja that wants to do good and is the leader of the ninja with green eyes, his daddy issues returning again because a girl he liked broke his heart and used him.

And now here we are after the Oni, after Seasons 11-15, at Dragons Rising. And Lloyd is grown grown. From being such a small kid that has already been through a lot and not knowing he'll be going through even more by the time he grows up, to a whole freaking teacher and adopting kids of his own and wou g h

It's such an insane character growth. An insane thing to just. Witness and experience to happen to a character. Like anyone else have any thoughts about that???

okay first off since we never see his friends from the movie. Did something happen to them did they lose their lives to one really difficult mission or did they quit adventuring and get normal jobs?? So ensued my thoughts...

Thats only his friends, does he ever meet his dad again? We don't know!!! maybe he did but not alive, maybe he did but their relationship is awkward?? maybe his dad went nuts?? MAYBE!!!!

Okay but consider: have you seen the alternate version of Day of the Departed? The script is the same, it’s just slight variations in the animation. Lots of confused and sad Morro faces, Morro doing respectful little bows, before his soul yeets out of the mannequin and he falls apart like a lego, no joke.
