ironically i love thrifting but ive never thought about using ebay, do you have any tips or keywords you use on it to find deals and shifty stuff/wording to look out for?
honestly I don't find ebay to be shifty for buying stuff! people are scared about using it sometimes and I think it's a little funny lol
I guess the tip would be that if you search for an item with vague enough terms, you'll get some SHEIN-esque mass produced clothes muddying the results. and you know it when you see it, because those listings look like shit btw. this type of thing:
like, these are real listings and everything, and you'd get the product, but they are obviously not what you're looking for.
you can ignore these, but if you want to filter them out, you can just narrow the search to SPECIFICALLY pre-owned items.
There isn't really any wording to look out for-- the only other thing would just be to make sure the stuff you get can be returned, bc sellers can specify whether or not they'll take the items back!

does anyone else have parents that give you "gifts" and by all outside accounts it should be something nice that youre grateful for, but the reality is they give you gifts you do not need and do not ask for and do not have room for, and they make you feel guilty if you reject them so you have no choice but to take them?

Jaiden!!! So, I am physically incapable of finishing any TV show, so there's no way in HELL I'm going to watch the one piece anime (plus, I really just don't vibe with anime. idk if it's the dub/sub thing or the animation style or what), BUT one of my friends might have succeeded in persuading me to (eventually) watch the live action version. Because I love found family and pirates, and like, people with swords are great, okay???
Anyways, I felt the need to tell you this because 1) you love one piece, and 2) maybe you can make sure I actually follow through and watch the damn thing. (says the woman with SO MANY things she wants to watch someday, yet never watches any of them....)
the live action is really good, i think it's a great introduction to one piece for ppl who don't want the commitment of 1000+ episodes. it's only 8 episodes i believe, at 1 hr for each episode. they did change a few things, but i actually really enjoyed the changes that they made as a lot of them are truer to the manga, or they weren't disruptive to the show at all and actually added something to it. so yeah i would definitely recommend opla!
but, i really do recommend watching the anime too!! there's just so much in the comedy and the art style that you'll miss without it. the live action does a great job at designing sets, but live action really just can't ever achieve the imagination and autonomy that animation has.
