I love that ship where both characters are introduced as friendly, only for one to turn out to have been lying the whole time and try to kill the other, all of which eventually culminates in their defeat and dramatic (and literal) fall, only then for them to return as a reluctant ally of their once enemy who knows them way too well and whose new relationship with them is largely interpreted as bantery. What do you mean which one.

something about how in the garden of lost will the reflection of guda telling them it's ok to give up is oberon the guy that specifically is too stubborn to ever give up. guda throughout lb6 subtly pieces together that oberon is shady but only really puts it together right at the end and before that what they understand the most about oberon is that even if they aren't being fully forthright and they use underhanded methods they are fully committed to helping castoria. so oberon in the garden as a reflection of guda comforting them by saying its ok to give up also ties back to the moment in gloucester when oberon says that because he and guda share the spot of spectators, that guda is the only one who can really punish oberon when all is said and done. both of them are witnessing each other's mad dash towards their ends and as much as they would like to comfort the other they also share the understanding that neither can really give up even if they stand directly in each other's ways

conveying how much you love them isnt easy but seeing two idiots do it is hilarious. you have dantes whos been here right from the start, living in their shadow, making coffee, saying the most vaguest things when he just wants you to spend time with him. he loves you and is the GREATEST motivator you have since you have to move forward. and then because of the wall barring his accomplice from reaching their destination, his first solution is to implement prison tower with a dose of killing everyone you love, getting betrayed by everyone you love and pushing you to become bloodthristy enough to understand an almost impossible existence that should normally NOT be summoned due to its nature but this weak ass human loved them for who they are and they all got attached to each other lol.

then theres this bug. he cares about this human too. walking in between the borders of life and death, dream and reality, their battered heart irreversible from how its journey has changed it. he may not have known them for as long as dantes, his understanding of their feelings got him closer to guda's heart almost in an instant because he saw their mask through.

then after seeing what dantes pulled, oberon basically did the same except he had less control of the dream/psyche and just had this flimsy yet sincerely kind plan of guda having fun forever playing soccer in their dream considering what they just went through (even if the way he did it was...... EXTREMELY weird..) like... oberon wanted guda to rest- he HAS them rest forcibly at that!!!!!!

and its implied because the implications of Id-aftermath must have exhausted them down to the bone to the point that oberon pulled this shit on april fools ww and he's even going so far as to tell guda to just lay the blame on him and guda could just be stress free and relaxed augh this bug....

(he did get forcibly be 'oberto hongou' bc guda's mind are just insane in many levels😂 yet he still played his role all the way to the end bc he cares for this stupid human hrdfjkgkjh)
