after having a long day trying to get caught back up at school after being sick, i really wanted to draw something easy and relaxing so i asked my sister for ideas and she suggested that i could draw magnolia, her reversible octopus, and i ended up having so much fun drawing magnolia that i ended up drawing cow-cow stasia, her fish-cow squishmallow, as well!! they were both very fun and low-stress to draw and drawing stuffed animals was a really fun experience

ohhhh i have so many thoughts

ive already talked about this ad nauseum previously but i always have time to discuss my favorites autist

his hatred of sleeves is totally an autistic thing. he just hates sleeves, specifically anything thats not long sleeved or sleeveless

he seems to prefer warm weather. he bundles up sooo much in the winter and he talks about moving back to mexico in s11. he would rather go back to prison than move any more north than chicago

i am once again mentioning that compulsory heterosexuality is absolutely part of mickeys masking. he seems to not gaf about masking about a lot of "typical" autistic things like not understanding social cues/rules or lacking conversation skills. a lot of his masking is more survival based like seeming straight and masculine and tough

^ which makes sense that when he starts unmasking, he likes patterned/hawaiian shirts :') he loves how visually simulating they are and he can tolerate the sleeves bc the fabric is very breathable and light

he really likes loud sounds specifically loud music and ambient/outside sounds like the ones he looks up in s11 to help him fall asleep :) he seems like the kinda person who can only do one thing as once, ie cant listen to music and play video games at the same time. when he does something he has to Devote Himself To It. if hes listen to music thats what hes doing. hes gonna sit there with his giant ass headphones on and stim or just cover his eyes and focus on the lyrics. hes s natural loud talker. he could yell over a jet engine if he wanted to. altho he doesnt like people raising his voice at him for obvious reasons. he cant stand pure silence it makes his skin crawl. ian loves his peace and quiet so mickey often throws on his headphones for parallel play. ian cooks or reads his book in quiet and mickey listens to deftones or doomscrolls on tiktok. parallel play becomes a huuuuge part of their bonding as a married couple :)

when he gets overwhelmed he completely shuts everything out. he acts like a cornered animal and lashes out at anything even if someone is trying to help. he needs space until he calms down or he'll have a meltdown and start throwing/breaking things or causing physical harm. sometimes he becomes too overwhelmed too quickly and completely skips the "shutting everyone out" stage and go straight to getting physical

he stims a lot by hitting or throwing stuff so ian trains him to use soft things like pillows and plushies (he absolutely has a plushie collection) when stimming. i think he also hits himself on the head sometimes. :( (totally not projecting) but be mainly sticks to his regular stims like messing with his eyebrows, chewing his nails, and biting his lip. he has an oral fixation! ian gets him a chew necklace. he likes singing and dancing with ian tho hed never admit it. he likes flapping his hands and jumping but hes still too embarrassed to ever do them. he unconsciously sways and rocks, especially if hes in the same spot for a long time

ian absolutely buys mickeys most of his sensory/stimming shit. lights, weighted blanket, spinner ring, chew jewelry, peelable clear nail polish, bike chain (which we see mickey has on his bedside table in s5 so i 1000% believe this was his first stim toy!!!) toy, tangles, different types of plushies (squishmallow, squishables, jellycat, reversible octopus (mickeys fav they both have at least one for every possible emotion), plushie dreadfuls, palm pals, different shapes and textured fabrics.) ian often steals a lot of these plushies; they are their first children. after they move back to the southside and are doing some work on their house, ian notices mickey still needs the catharsis of breaking shit, so sometimes they go on dates to the junkyard with baseball bats and destroy shit together

mickey literally cant be in the same room with ian when he eats his eggs with ketchup. the concept itself is so gross he cant tolerate it

hes very sensory seeking, again partly because of his oral fixation. he likes spicy food and LOVES sour food. obviously he loves candy and junk food. they have lamps, other small lights, and color changing led lights all over their home. eventually they both fall into a routine of communicating nonverbally using different colors of lights

mickey isnt great at communicating verbally tho he tries. sometimes he just cant, its too overwhelming and he cant think of the words to properly express himself. hes much better at conveying his thoughts thru physical means. this is part autism, part learned during childhood

he learned literally everything he knows about society thru movies. he uses a lot of old slang and makes niche references. he refuses to explain any of them to ian

sometimes he goes nonverbal and he texts only using (sometimes too many) emojis and reaction images that nobody gets except him

most people think hes weird and dont get his sense of humor but ian thinks hes the funniest person on the planet! they often make references to inside jokes in front of other people and it annoys the shit out of everyone

Okay, I put A LOT of thought into this and I'm actually very proud of myself 🤧 War Dogs as plushies below the cut!!!!

Gabe is this Angry Birds plush. Because he is angry and likes to yeet himself at people. Also he's always fucking chirping, dude just won't shut up!! And it's all these reasons why I love him and want to hug and squish him 🤧

Alex is this skeleton cat plush. Mainly because of the eyes, but also because it fits his personality. He's super into metal and "I lift things up and put them down" but then he also makes dad jokes and lives at Starbucks. Plus, for whatever reason, this was the first thing that came up when I typed "mortal kombat plush" into Amazon 😂😂

Clark is the jackalope Squishmallow. Listen to me: outwardly that boy is a (horny) menace, but deep down inside he's soft AF. Plus he lives out in the middle of nowhere, is rather elusive, and is small (sorry short king ily), quick, and powerful. AND there's a little bit of his favoritest color (pink!) in there for him. (Ngl, I kinda want this Squishmallow now lmao.)

Dan is one of those reversible octopus plushies that's angry on one side and happy on the other, because dude be giving me whiplash with how alternatively hard and soft he is fr.

a/n: I know not everyone likes Valentine’s Day (I hate it personally) but I wanted to do something to maybe help make it a little more bearable.

❀ Akaashi- Has probably asked if you liked stuff like this before at the start of your relationship. He’s not a huge fan of it but he does like it to a certain degree and will be more than happy to get you things for it. Plans the entire day if neither of you are busy and if you actually Valentine’s Day. He’ll take you to the place you first met, where he took you on your first date, and things like that and then make you dinner by the end of the day. If you don’t like it, Akaashi will kind of treat it like any other day but probably spend a bit more time with you than he does. He will however, always get you a gift and it’s not really something you’ll stereotypically get for Valentine’s Day, it’ll be something he knows you’ve been wanting for some time.

❀ Atsumu- doesn’t necessarily care for Valentine’s Day so he may ask if you’re ok with staying home, though it depends on if you like it or not. If you’re not a fan, he’ll see if you want to watch movies (specifically terribly cheesy ones so you can make fun of them) and possibly get take out or something along those lines. If you do like it, he is spoiling the hell out of you the moment you wake up. You will wake up to your favorite flowers (or thing you like) at your door and a very sweet morning text. He’ll take you out later that day and is honestly more affectionate than normal. Though, regardless if you do or don’t like it, he will get you a gift of something that you’ve been wanting for awhile. He originally wanted to get you a promise ring but he was scared that you’d hate it :(

❀ Daichi- One of the people that likes Valentine’s Day so he’ll always want to take you out on some really cute and romantic date. He does stuff like that anyways but today it’s a little more special to him. If he knows you don’t like Valentine’s Day, he’ll always be sure to ask if you’re interested in doing something he has planned because he would never want to force you into doing something you don’t want to do. If you arent, he’ll ask what you’d be more comfortable with and even if it’s just staying at home, he’ll gladly do it. Your comfort is more important to him than some day. Daichi will get you gifts regardless and he’s always worried that he didn’t do a good job at picking it soooooo please reassure him that you like it :((

❀ Iwaizumi- I’m sorry but iwa is one of those people that doesn’t understand why you’d dedicate one day to being loving with your s/o when you could do that everyday (same). If you like it, he’ll be more than happy to do whatever you want and get you gifts but he’s not going to seem anymore affectionate than normal as this is just any other day to him. Feels a tad better if he finds out you also don’t care for it but he won’t show it. He’s also never told you personally that he never liked it but Oikawa told you whatever you were worried about getting him something. Iwaizumi normally invites you over and the two of you can hangout but he’ll never pressure you or ask you to spend time just because of the date.

❀ Matsukawa- Somewhat like Akaashi, he asked if you liked it or not whenever the two of you began dating. He doesn’t have anything against the day but it’s not something he’s overjoyed about. If you like it, he’ll bring you to one of your favorite places and he’ll get you something you’ve been wanting. Matsukawa will also be more than happy to take you to some restaurant and eat but he would personally like to make you dinner so he can spend time with you rather than dealing with other couples. If you don’t like Valentine’s Day, Mattsun will still invite you over for dinner and you two can watch a movie after! He also gets you something more “silly” rather than a “serious” gift. Soft Wrecker headcannons 😌🌼

Today is Wrecker day so here are some soft headcanons I prepared earlier:

Wrecker doesn’t like tea or coffee but he LOVES hot chocolate, and I’m talking the full works. Squirty cream, marshmallows, chocolate flake

Wrecker is very emotionally intelligent. No matter how you’re feeling, whether it’s upset, anxious, angry, Wrecker knows exactly what to do to help you feel better

If you struggle with communicating how you feel, Wrecker will buy you one of those octopus plushies with the happy and the unhappy reversible sides

Wrecker collects squishmallows. When he walks into store and gives them a squish he just can’t say no. The Marauder is now overflowing with squishmallows. Hunter is losing hope

If his partner has long hair, Wrecker learns to braid it as he enjoys doing something while spending time with you. He can do all sorts of intricate braids so if you ever need something doing you go to him

Wrecker loves playing chess with Tech. He has no idea how to play it yet always ends up winning. No one has yet figured out how

Wrecker’s favourite game to play is fluffy bunnies, the game where you shove as many marshmallows in your mouth as possible but you still have to be able to say fluffy bunnies. Before the clone wars started Wrecker used to play it with the younger clones during their time off and they absolutely loved it. Wrecker and his game became legendary

Wrecker loves to watch you read but struggles to concentrate long enough to do it himself. Because he wants to be able to talk about the books you read, Wrecker starts listening to audiobooks and ends up becoming a massive bookworm

One of the only times Wrecker can stay still is when you go to the aquarium. For hours he can just stand there, mesmerised by all the weird little marine creatures. He especially loved the glow in the dark jellyfish

Wrecker loves pamper night. Get the face masks, essential oils and fancy spa music out and you’ve won him over

Wrecker is a teddy bear and he absolutely loves to cuddle

Wrecker bawles his eyes out the day you get married he’s so in love with you

It took a lot for you to come to terms with your feelings about Connor. You knew you had feelings for him, you just hadn't decided if those feelings were positive or negative in the long term. Your friends were tired of you dancing around your feelings, they just wanted you both to be happy. They didn't care if that meant you two dating or just having a friendship with flirtatious tension.

You had made up your mind on asking him to the dance on Monday night. After having a two hour long facetime with Gabby and Hanna they'd convinced you their was literally no reason as to why he would say no. So when Tuesday morning rolled around you were dead set on asking him. But he wasn't there. Then possibly one of the weirdest and scariest weeks of your life started taking place, so asking Connor to the dance was sidelined ultimately.

Then everything was reset. The shadowman was gone. Connor was back, and it was Friday night again. You had another opportunity to ask him but pushed it away. You'd already asked him, or his possessed state? It wasn't worth the possible humiliation.

"He rejected me once, I can't deal with that confrontation again." You said to Hanna as you got ready together. Gabby on facetime getting ready with you guys in spirit but her mom promised her she could drive so she opted to get ready at home. "Ok in the past twenty four you've battled a shadow demon." Gabby said as she stopped applying her highlighter to give you a dead stare over the phone for dramatic flare before continuing. " You can ask him to the glow dance."

"Seriously, you saved his life. He owes you a dance date at least." Hanna said as she began doing her hair. You shook your head, "He doesn't owe me anything. I would've done it for any of you." You said as you applied eyeliner.

"Yeah but for Connor just a smidge more." Gabby giggled over the phone, you rolled your eyes. "It's okay, you have a crush." Hanna said turning her attention to you, "Not the end of the world, literally everyone on the face of the earth has had them."

"It's not a crush!" You exclaimed, you hadn't had the best track record with crushes. Therefore you refused to even put Connor in that category. It seemed like every time you'd get close to someone, they'd hurt you and leave. You didn't want that with Connor. Even if you denied your own feelings, your walls were so high that you didn't notice them start to crack and grow flowers around your best friend.

"Is this about hewhoshallnotbenamed?" Gabby didn't have to ask that, it was a dead give away. Your ex had hurt you really bad. He was the first boy you dated in freshman year and slowly but surely he broke your heart with a sledge hammer.

"We all know my track record is shit, Connors just." You didn't even know how to explain it. "I chase people away. I don't know if feelings are worth losing him." You'd put your eyeliner down at this point. "Fuck that!" Gabby said before covering her mouth and checking to see if her mom was home yet. "Sorry but, you almost lost him this week isn't that more the reason to tell him?"

"When I first showed up in the dark the first thing he asked about was if you were okay." Hanna added, "If he didn't like you why would he have gone through such lengths to protect you this whole time?" It was true, since he got out of the light house he hadn't taken his sight off of you or let you get out of arms reach. Was the only thing stopping you, your own paranoia?

You'd finished getting ready with Hanna about half an hour ago. She went home so her moms could take pictures before she showed up at the dance and Gabby hung up not so much before hand. You stayed cleaning in your room so when you got home it wasn't a total disaster.

Your parents weren't back from work yet so you were enjoying blasting your music before going to the generic recycled playlists the school constantly played at the dances. Then your doorbell being rung distracted you. "Got it!" You yelled rushing towards the door incase it was a mail carrier or something like that.

Opening the door you saw Connor, his usual dark and distressed clothing tossed aside wearing something more fitting for the glow dance. "Hey!" He said walking in as you closed the door behind him. "Hey, I thought we were all meeting at the dance?" You asked, it had been mutually decided in the group chat. After Gabby's mom agreed she could drive there, Hanna's moms wanted pictures, and other personal conflicts that had presented that meeting up individually would be the best idea.

"We still are, I just thought that I should pick you up." He said as the two of you made your way back to your bedroom. "Why would you pick me up?" You asked as continued to clean your room while Connor jumped onto your bed. "Cause we're us, y'know." He said taking sudden interests in your squishmallows.

You stopped in your tracks. If there was a nobel peace prize or some societal outstanding award for stubbornness, you win beating every nomee in a landslide. "There isn't an us, there just is just our flirty friendship that has a suffocating amount of romantic tension which sucks!" You declared turning around. Taken aback he sat up, "I thought that you liked this flirty friendship."

"Not if it's only going to be a fucking friendship." You said lowly leaning against your desk. Realizing what you'd said you spit out whatever would save your ass, "Let's just pretend like this never happened." Standing up and walking in front of you. "I'm not okay with pretending, especially when I've waited so long." You try to push away but you're already in a corner, both literally and metaphorically.

" I'm bad luck, trust me. You deserve a girlfriend who can actually tell you how she feels, Con." It was like a lightbulb flashed in his head. Turning around and grabbing a reversible octopus off of your bed. "Tell me how you feel then." He said placing it into your hands. It was on green, green would be playing it safe. Your friendship would stay the same and you wouldn't have to risk ruining it. No deep end.

You flipped it to purple before handing it to Connor. He smiled, "You deserve to be loved." You looked up at him, deep end bound. He placed his hands on either side of your face. "So let me through those walls." You breathed in. "Only if you promise you won't hurt me."

"Never. I could never hurt you." You felt the moss and ivy that had grown upright on those walls slowly retracted. You moved to place your head in the crook of his neck. His arms wrapped around you. "Shit, there goes my stone cold bitch reputation." You joked.

Loosening his grip he curled one of fingers and placed it under your chin. "You were never stone cold to me." Pressing his lips to yours. "But my girlfriend is a bitch and I like her very much." He joked causing you to giggle.

"So, are we going to the dance? Because I like this." You said, He stepped back. "Yes and we can do more of this later." He said as you grabbed your shoes. "Didn't take you for a clinger, Con." You said sitting down to tie them. "Really?" He said jumping onto your bed and crashing into you, "Cause I can get clingy-er." He said pulling himself into you as you finished to tie your shoes. You looked over and smiled.

"M'lady." He said holding his hand out with a dorky british accent. "Why thank you kind sire." You said taking it and walking out of your room.
