PB and J Smoothie
2 servings depending on glass size
A good time to take this smoothie is at bedtime as it will help you sleep through the night. This smoothie Is thick, delicious, and filling. It is full of ingredients that will keep you feeling full and not hungry. It also has a lot of healthy ingredients full of vitamins and protein.
Ingredients
1 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon old fashioned oats
2 frozen bananas cut in chunks
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon grape jelly
2 pitted dates
2 tablespoons peanut butter
Directions:
In a blender add the milk, oats, bananas, grape jelly, dates, and peanut butter and blend. This might take a couple of minutes to become smooth and creamy.
Pour in the smoothie from the blender and enjoy!
Note:
Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
If you want to avoid dairy products you can buy alternatives like almond or coconut milk.
