Day 11. A spread for yourself.

I've never actually designed my own card spread, I prefer to use ones others have created. I find them really well done and insightful. Maybe in the future when I'm more experienced, I might have a go. 😊

Day 15: how can I express myself creatively this week? I used the Mermaid Oracle. Card 1: #8 Fertility (potential, powerful creative energy, initiation energy): this card is so spot on! So, it tells me now is the time to sow my seeds and let my soul grow in the ripe earth. Now is the time to gather my thoughts and start weaving things together. I pulled another card for clarification because I wanted to know what I can DO to express myself creatively. Card 2: #44 Homeland (arrival, a journey ends, establishment, building, settled). So this card tells me to reconnect with my roots, what makes me who I am both ancestorally(where I was born, where my story began) and reborn (my spiritual awakening, what lights me up). I've been playing around with an idea for a blog and yesterday I felt like I hit a break through. It was something I've been thinking about for YEARS but it seemed so much more solid and real yesterday, more tangible and doable. It is hard to describe. So, those brainstorming ideas I was writing down last night and that feeling I had yesterday is confirmed and I am going to move forward with it. I am going to keep writing down my ideas and build the base for my plan. Homecoming also makes me think of writing. I have always been a writer. That is the home in my heart and I have been away from that home for a very long time now. It's time to go back home, pick up that pen, and make my notebooks feel lived in again. #oraclecardchallenge #tarot #oracle #messages

Day 20. Where your deck sleeps.

I was bought this mirrored jewellery box for Christmas a year or 2 ago and at first wasn't sure what to put in it and then I got my Oracle deck and realised they fitted in great! 😀 Yes I have filled it with amethysts too (of course! 😉) I feel like this box is also a protective case for my cards, reflecting away any negativity and bad vibes. 😊

Day 2. Your reading space.

I actually have 3 places in our tiny bungalow that I do my card readings.

We have a small table by our living room window, which is great lighting for card reading or crafting.

I sometimes sit on our big, comfy, purple sofa, which I either put a cushion or tray on my lap, or i lift the bottom bit of the sofa out (so you can stretch your legs out) and do my reading on there in front of me. (Our cat is always hogging it lol)

Or if my husband is up and about and busy in our living room. I actually go into our bedroom and get comfy on the bed and do the reading. As I need to be alone and quiet to concentrate. 😊

Day 27. A card you dislike.

I found this one hard, as I LOVE every card in this deck. Each has its own individual meaning and all are special but I had to choose, so I chose Heart Healing, as this card could mean that someone has been through or is going through heart break at the mo and that is an awful thing to have to feel and move past.
