Hi again Jinxy! I'm loving the cat tree you converted for me & all the gorgeous pet food items you just shared. There are a few items from the Businesses & Hobbies pack that I'm coveting now, and I'm wondering if you have any interest in converting them. The items are the Tat-a-Scribble Set tattoo clutter, the Luminous Leaf tree with fairy lights, and the black swatch of the fence with fairy lights. As always, I appreciate you considering it and many thanks for all your lovely CC!

I did stuff for the first time ever to fill this ask. I also didn't even realize there was a new EP until I received this ask, so that was a fun surprise.

So first up, the Tat-a-Scribble tattoo clutter from Business & Hobbies.

It's just a sculpture, but I put it in Hobbies > Creativity because it just felt like it belonged there. All recolors are included.

Full disclosure, I have never converted a tree before, much less one that lights up, but here we are. I imagine in the future, someone more qualified/aware of what they're doing will convert this so the tree experiences seasons and everything, but that person is not me. Instead, this Luminous Leaf tree is a giant lamp that can be found in Lighting > Miscellaneous. It turns on and off like all lamps and all the recolors are included. The bark and the leaves are separate subsets, so you can mix and match the trunk and foliage to your heart's content.

And finally, the Fairly Fair Fence with Fairy Lights... sort of. I have never converted a build object before, so this was another first for me. I was amazed I was able to convert the fence at all, making it light up seemed something impossible, but I found a way to make it all work.

So the black fence (and the wire upon it) are in Build > Fences like normal. You can see the straight fence on the right and the diagonal on the left in the above image. The actual fairy lights are separate pieces (one for the straight fence and one for the diagonal) that can be found in the Buy sections Lighting > Miscellaneous. Fair warning, they do not automatically snap onto the fence. You need to use "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false" and "boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true" in order to place the lights where they belong, but that's what I could manage. They do turn on and off. Again, I imagine in the future someone who better knows how to convert a lighted fence will do so, but in the meantime, hopefully this works.

I only did the black fence since it was the only one requested, but hey... I can convert fences now, and that's pretty exciting.

Roseland Park | Sims 2 Lot Download

Understated and classic on the outside with more modern features inside, this little home has lots of options for your pet-loving sims. This lot is also nearly CC-free! There’s only 1 item (upper kitchen cabinets), and you can choose whether you want to put it in your game or not when you use the Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer.

It features a spacious, fenced-in yard for endless games of “fetch”.  There is also a doghouse to provide your pet with a relaxing place to rest after their romp.

This home is lightly furnished so that you can customize it to fit your family and their pets. The 2nd bedroom is completely empty and can be used for the kids or turned into a pet paradise.

Here it is at last - the speech default for Edo-period Japan.

As usual, I defaulted the interests/conversational topics, the pet interests, the hobby topics, AL stories, the UI graphics representing interests and hobbies, and the motive graphics. While some parts carry over from my earlier mods - I'm still using the same weather icons, for instance, and regrettably, I'm still using a bush to represent an urgent need for a toilet in the motives mod - everything else is new, and as period-accurate as I could make it. I confirmed the age of the rising sun flag when I used it, for instance.

I'm not as certain about the use of karate in the sports topics - a form of it existed by that point, I believe, but I don't know if it was known at all in mainland Japan - but I was struggling a bit at that point to get some variety in the sports icons. I couldn't find any good representations of kyūdō, to my dismay, had a hard time finding examples of ikebana, and money was a real trial, but on the other hand, I was able to find an icon for kōdō and a bunch of different yokai icons for Paranormal and Science Fiction.

I used ninjas and samurai in the Crime interest, so that's what your children will be playing. Given that ninjas were basically folklore at this point in history, it may be a little silly as a topic for adults to obsess about, but I couldn't come up with a better idea.

The motives mod includes an onsen to represent a bath (though I couldn't find an example I liked of the stylized onsen symbol) onigiri to represent food, and in the seasons temperature motives, a fan and hot tea; and the Health topic includes acupuncture and moxibustion. The blacksmithing icons that tinkering enthusiasts and AL gearheads will talk about might look a little too European due to lack of options, but I did my best. When it came to the hobbies, I had to reuse a fair number of icons from the conversational topics, but I think the result is good.

Everything is compressorized and clearly labeled.

Apologies for the long post ahead

Where do I begin? My name is Minthe Thalzoh and my mother is an Elf and my Father is an Alien!

Wait! Let me start over, sorta, from the beginning.

My father crash landed his ship in my Mother's backyard, one thing led to another and now they're the loves of each other's lives and married. They moved out to Willow Creek to start a family.

My parents knew even then that I was going to be a genius! Though this could have been because of my mixed species genetics. I hit almost every Milestone ahead of the expected timeline and understood and could do a lot more than a "normal" Infant.

Then I became a Toddler!

Not long after, my sister Kaeleen came around and I didn't get as much of my parent's attention, this upset me understandably but I did know that she was smaller and needed more help. I again met all my milestones and sped through all possible toddler skills before my next Lifestage.

As a child I reached the top of my class within a couple of days and worked through two Aspirations. Mom got pregnant again and gave me another sister, Kira, so I helped Kaeleen as best as I could with all her Milestones and Skills. Soon enough it was time for my next birthday.

Father agreed as long as I could pass and graduate high school early and get into college before the shuttle got here. Of course I did it! Did you have any doubts? I got into Foxbury for a Distinguished Degree in Physics and I plan to Minor in Robotics. I even got a full ride! My parents set aside a bit of Simoleons for me once I graduate so I can buy a house and start living the Simlander Dream.

I'm sad to have missed meeting my newest sister, Laryse, in person. She was born on the way to Unvahiri, but I get video transmissions from them from time to time. They hope to make it back for when I graduate but I told them not to worry about it and I would try to set up some sort of recording for them. But that was still a long way away, I still have to pass all my classes first. It's a bit lonely right now but at least I was able to sneak my pet, Voxel, into the Dorm. I think the College Board knows he's here but hasn't said anything - yet.

Watcher's notes: I plan for this to be 99.9% all gameplay based but will try to add in a bit of story here and there for fun but I started this save as a de-compressor for Elucea's story which even though I plan different things and randomly write bits for it (not all will I use obvi) it does get rather tiring some days when I do get into that save file (which probably led to my being more in a building/CAS mood for a bit). I want to actually get through a TRUE challenge for once and I've tried the Not So Berry a couple times and abandoned it but through sharing my Glynnans I have made it to Gen 6 so far and don't plan on stopping so maybe by sharing my NSB gameplay I can complete this challenge for once.
