Aggelos - Metroidvania e muitos monstros

ArcRunner Review (Steam)
Tumblr media
For our ArcRunner Review, Where a meta-virus has infected KORE, the AI of the titan class space station, The Arc, causes the ArcRunner protocol to be initialized. You have been brought back to traverse the station, defeat its zone guardians, locate KORE, and reset it. The catch? Every robotic entity on The Arc is against you and hunting you to stop you from fulfilling your mission.
ArcRunner Review Pros:
- Decent graphics. - 8.6GB Download size. - Steam achievements. - Full controller support. - Graphics settings - fullscreen, resolution, v-sync, graphics preset, resolution scale, view distance, post-processing, anti-aliasing, shadows, textures, and effects. - Controller settings - Invert axis and sensitivity sliders, aim assist and rebind controls. - Mouse settings - Invert axis and sensitivity sliders. - Reticle settings - size and color sliders. - Solo and multiplayer modes. - Tutorials - enabled/disabled. - In-game cutscenes. - Can fast forward and skip cutscenes/interactions. - Three classes - Soldier, Ninja, and hacker (needs to be unlocked). - Two difficulties are normal and hard. - Third-person shooter gameplay. - Enemies drop weapons and items like grenades and utilities. - Neon-soaked game world. - Run based. - Every time you clear a section you get to choose 1 of 4 augments (upgrades). - End of a run breakdown showing runs, zone reached, augments, enemies killed, etc. - Nanites are earned from playing and used to permanently upgrade your character for future runs. - Fast loading times. - The goal is to clear the area of enemies and escape to the exit. - Destructible parts of the area that deals damage to anyone in the blast range. - Challenge areas can open up and are optional. - Loot boxes to find. ArcRunner Review Cons: - The neon colors are too much and obscure your view and enemies. - Each run feels the same due to not having a lot of area variety. - Takes a while to get going. - The picking up of weapons and Gadgets is less than ideal due to the way the text pop-ups. - Despite all the talk of guns and Gadgets, melee is the best way to kill. - So hard to get your health back. - The early game is tedious full of quick deaths and repeated runs. The plane effect switch

#The plane effect switch Pc
The Plane Effect is an art-house project screaming “aesthetic!” from on high, that for whatever reason happens to be a video game with an unclear genre (leaning somewhat towards adventure).Īll of these vibrant scenes try to build a vast world but don’t wind up having much cohesion or linking narrative. Most of this aims to create a sense of dread, longing, or mystery. All the while, the game makes sure to show off its lush water effects, lighting design, minimalistic characters, and use of color contrast. The main character moves from one quirky cinematic set piece to the next. The Plane Effect is clearly about visuals first and gameplay second. But, with the absence of narrative text and very little spoken dialogue, it is left to the player to decide what is happening. The game quickly hints that this may be a cosmic horror, dystopian world, glitched simulation, hallucination, or nightmare. However, as the man looks out a window, an ominous red entity appears in the sky. Gamers interested in keeping up with the release can follow the Steam page or check out any of PQube’s social media channels for updates. The Plane Effect made by Studio Kiku and published by PQube follows an office worker on his way home to reunite with his wife and daughter the latter of whom loves making paper planes. A demo will be available via Steam as part of the Steam Summer Festival on July 16.
#The plane effect switch Pc
The Plane Effect is set to be released to Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) this coming Summer. The game also seems to be fairly strongly influenced (at least in some ways) by Playdead’s hit titles Limbo and Inside (perhaps the latter more than the former). The stylistic choices of the game certainly seem to exhibit a very noir-esque visual approach, much like the recent (and equally puzzling) Genesis Noir, but in a slightly more realistic fashion. They certainly seem dystopian, strange, and possibly tied to a message concerning commercialism of the world where Solo resides.Įnvironments displayed in this release range from underwater pipelines, to ominous red-hued server warehouses, fields of oil derricks and wind turbines chugging away aside one another, and high contrast, neon-lit cityscapes. PQube has also released 4K screenshots of the game on their website, which can be found here. The Plane Effect promises to be a “twisted journey laced with mystery, hopelessness and otherworldly happenings” and if the visuals from the trailer are any indication, it will certainly be quite the surreal ride. The trailer displays the gorgeously moody geometric world that players will have an opportunity to explore as they take control of Solo, a lonely office worker clocking out from work and heading on an “impossible journey home.” The indie adventure title will have players escaping death as they try to avoid the end of the world by solving environmental puzzles throughout the game. A new trailer for The Plane Effect, a collaborative effort between developers Studio Kiku and Innovina Interactive along with publisher PQube has dropped today.

Mind-bending Adventure The Plane Effect Announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and Steam.įor more information and the latest news visit the official website:. Toying with your grip of reality and distorting the balance of time and space, Solo battles adversity as he traverses the abstruse and deeply aesthetic world of The Plane Effect.Īlong the dangerous path that Solo walks, you'll be challenged with untangling impossible series' of events, getting to grips with the intangible and using logic to overcome the increasingly illogical dystopia around you. You do have a family, don't you? You think you do. The Plane Effect puts you in the shoes of Solo, a lonely office worker on his final day at the office and it is time to return to your beautiful family. PQube, Studio Kiku and Innovina Interactive are excited to announce the mind-bending dystopian adventure The Plane Effect for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and Steam! It is your last day, it is time to clock out and head home.

And if I’m not sure why the road is there, if I’m not sure what the destination is, then it leaves me to ask why the obstacles are there–and that’s a particularly dangerous question.Brand New Dystopian Adventure 'The Plane Effect' Will Distort Time and Space for PC & Console Meanwhile, The Plane Effect is available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/ S, PlayStation 4/5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One. It is an object of time and effort, and I’m not sure why it’s there. Someone had to build that road, even digitally. The mind-bending adventure game, which is set in a dystopian future, will launch for Switch on August 12. (In part, because very few games can claim to be “necessary” in any meaningful sense, and because necessity is very rarely a useful limit on the existence of a cultural object.)īut even in The Plane Effect’s relatively short play time, I found myself asking why it had me spend a not-insignificant amount of time walking and driving in a straight line, simply to reach the next obstacle. set a final release date for The Plane Effect. Even as a critic I’m inclined to spend more time dealing with what is in front of me, and how exactly it does what it does, than in attempting to deal with why this particular story or system might be necessary at this particular time. If I come down leaning toward the negative on the second half of that question, I do have to acknowledge that “why” is a troublesome question for a lot of video games. Was he trying to escape from a Kafkaesque office environment? Was he trying to find or recover his lost family? Was he an automaton rather than a person, and if so, did that have any impact whatsoever on his status as an office drone or his connection to his apparent family?ĭo these things really matter in a puzzle game, or are mood and a clever set of gears sufficient? The whys and hows While the unnamed office worker I directed was repeatedly haunted by spectres of his apparent wife and child that would appear and fade away, I was never sure what exactly he was trying to do beyond the demands of overcoming the immediate obstacle. Its willingness to embrace non sequitur in its storytelling leaves an impression of randomness rather than cohesion. And yet, I’m not entirely sure that the game justifies the time it demands.

NEXOMON BEST STARTER HOW TO
NEXOMON BEST STARTER CODE
And so begins the quest where you go from town to town chasing Nexolord and stopping his evil plans. As you feel there’s something very shady about him and you decide to follow him, helped along by the robot Atlas your friend Ellie made for you. Yep, he is evil, you can see it clearly!Īt the current time, you are the child of two scientists that are getting visits from one of the world’s most powerful Nexomon tamers, a guy called the Nexolord. They won the war and the world has been at peace ever since.
NEXOMON BEST STARTER HOW TO
In the centuries of fighting, some humans learned how to tame Nexomon and with their aid, fight the invaders. Long ago, humans were masters of their world, and then the leader of Nexomon showed up to wage war on them. When you take your first steps in Nexomon you’re introduced to a bit of history. Make the best-balanced team to help you in turn-based battle and meanwhile, save the world from the merciless Nexolord. It follows the standard routine of any monster catcher game, you choose from seven unique starter Nexomon to begin your journey and travel the world to catch, evolve and collect over 300 unique Nexomon. Originally released in 2017, it’s my first time in this critter catching game. Nexomon is the prequel to Nexomon Extinction that was released in 2020 ( find our review here). Is it? Let’s check it out! Gotta Catch All Them Nexomon So like I said, I think I would take the chance to jump into a new adventure if the game was good. In this monster catcher, however, Nexomon at the time resemble Pokémon and even the music has a distinct feel of the soundtrack from one of the Pokémon games. The catching mechanics of course, but there are more games out there that take thankful inspiration from the Gotta Catch Them All Formula. Frankly, I’m surprised at how much it copies the Pokémon games. What if I really enjoy a certain kind of game, and I have finished all the games in that series? And then I found a game that, in my ways, copies my favourite? Would I jump on it and take it on board with enthusiasm? I think I would…that’s the thought that entered my mind when I picked up Nexomon for review.

Curse of the Sea Rats Review Cons: - Combat takes some getting used to. - The opening segment is very slow. - Each character plays differently and you don't get told that or have any help when changing to a new character. - The annoying mechanic where you lose tons of damage by being too close to an enemy. - Difficulty spikes especially with boss fights. - Cannot pan the camera around. - Never sure what can or cannot be broken. - Checkpoints are far away from each other meaning a lot of replaying the same section. - Too many times you get a cheap shot by an enemy hidden by the foreground art. - Just feels a bit flat and lifeless. - It just takes ages to get going. - Combat is such that you can't be punching and swapping directions.
