Not enough folks dig the birds! This is a commission, that I noodled with in Photoshop a bit. Acrylic on board plus Pshop.

Made banana pudding. (cooked custard guys, cmon Idfw instant bs) The first batch didn't have enough vanilla & was kinda meh/flat. Second try I threw in some garam masala, extra cinnamon and nutmeg. Guys.

Wish you could all come eat (me haha) some! We had a bite for breakfast but not into sweets so giving it away. Totally down w/ being the cool step-mom-ish person (milf) who hooks the kid & their new roommates up with homemade food. Woulda been the best worst mom ever.

Loaded up on CJI, really like the looks of Cody Haddon (wtf is going on in Perth?! Haddon and Erceg are great and another debuting in 2 wks) and Andreas Gustafsson from DWCS.

Dislike him so fucking much but the pos keeps loading the deck and can't avert my eyes because I love the sport/fighters so gd much. The endless guilt cycle is enough to make me buy that leather roses w/ thorns (jaggers) (jaromir jagr) flogger. *sly smile*

Did you see the Poirier/Diaz drop from FULL VIOLENCE?! Their prices and policies eat shit and while we're on the subject the design team for fighters needs HELP. Some are ok but most of it looks like shitty Pshopped wal mart garbage with a heavy walking billboard vibe. gtfohwts

if you don’t mind me asking, what kind of programs & brushes do you use?

of course! these days i'm working primarily in procreate on my ipad and i am partial to the dry inker, 6b pencil, and shale brush (under calligraphy, i think) for drawing/lining. i've also been using baskerville and mercury inkers for coloring and dabbling in using them for line art, too :)

in photoshop i love kyle t. webster's mr. natural inker and just his whole catalog, really (if you're a pshop subscriber you can download most of these for free, but also ik adobe is the pits). my goal for the next year or so is to learn clip, bc i know that's a more sustainable/affordable program that has a lot of good tools if you know how to use them.

I could probs look into proper art tablets w screens to work straight onto my computer for cheaper than an ipad but also i really do enjoy procreate as a program and haven't found any other program outside of pshop that works for me. And pshop is pshop :^/

1. Art programs you have but don't use

I bought Affinity Photo in December meaning to switch over to it from Photoshop when it made sense to do so, but turns out over 22 years of using a program (I started teaching myself Pshop when I was about 15!?) makes it reaaaallly hard to switch to a new one :(

I also have some animation programs on my iPad (Animation & Rough Animator) that I would love to fiddle with but I haven't had the time lately.

7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate

Glass!!!!! Have you watched Blown Away on Netflix? It's spectacular! I also have a deep respect for printmaking (my dad did Intaglio Etchings so I grew up around it), but am terrible at working with editions of things because I get bored with that sort of repetition & also I'm not great at the technical side of art in general & printmaking is maybe the most technical of the flat arts?? (Though I thankfully find the technical stuff that comes with pottery less draining/more fun mostly because you don't have to WORRY ABOUT REGISTRATION I HATE YOU REGISTRATION)

12. Easiest part of body to draw 

NONE OF IT DRAWING BODIES IS THE WORST. Seriously, drawing people is one of the things I dread the most, which is exactly why my next book project is a 200-pg graphic novel that has the one human character in almost every panel (help me)!! I do like drawing all kinds of hair, though. Does that count as a body part?
