uh hi hello!! first i wanted to say i am deeply in love with your art (god those shapes, these lines, texture, anatomy, expression, EVERYTHING) and your latest drawing just moved something in me i cant quite grasp it, been thinking about it for a couple days. sooo i felt inspired and made myself a smol little machete out of uh wild clay so i could kiss him on the forehead before going to sleep, i hope you're ok with that? Thank you for your request, and I hope that you like this! I watched the animation, and I thought it was AMAZING??! I really liked the style, and how much thought and work was put into it-I don't know how to describe it, but I liked it. And also, this song is so good. I have never listened to it before (or at least I don't think I have), but I'm glad I have now 😋😋 I tried to capture both the visuals of the video and how it made me feel/the vibes it gave off, and I hope it's good! :3

I probably shouldn't be allowed to talk about computers while zonked on progesterone but I've genuinely really struggled to like KDE plasma. the idea behind it is cool and design wise i should like it, but it's always just been a bit too weird for me.

yes it's customisable but there's just so many little things that frustrate me about it, like the faint grey outline symbolising a minimised program instead of something more visible, or the program icon showing up next to the cursor when launching something. combined with all the packaged software (that yes you can go without but most people don't) that starts with a K and isn't just called like "terminal" or "settings" and stuff makes for a bit of an overwhelming experience.

i do genuinely understand why people like it, and I'm certainly biased with my daily use of cinnamon. but it's sort of just an overwhelming and kind of frustrating experience that feels like it's trying to do too much and have their own version of every program they could and it's all just a bit too much sharp angles and blue for my liking. even though the full oxygen theme rules so hard.

it's kinda sad that it's trickier to get cinnamon looking good on non mint distros (tho probably not that hard i might just be bad at computers) because thats the main reason I've actually used KDE. this is all an issue of personal taste, but i think for me the issue is the design language *is* very consistent and I think it's a bad looking design language (despite it obviously being sleek and what a lot of people really like)
