QUELS sont, fraternellement réunis coude à coude, ces honorables gentlemen ? Regardez bien! Le troisième personnage en commençant par la droite est le seul à ne pas porter de chapeau; de plus, son pantalon est déchiré et ses mains se cachent étrangement derrière son dos comme si elles étaient enchaînées par des menottes. Celui-ci en effet est un criminel. Convaincu d'avoir empoisonné cinq personnes, dont deux enfants, il s'est enfui dans les bois où des policiers ont dû le poursuivre, non sans mal, et sont parvenus à le capturer avec l'aide de chiens de police. Cette chasse à l'homme a duré plusieurs jours. Après l'hallahi, les vainqueurs ont tenu à se faire photographier avec leur capture. (J. N. P.)
