Yes, yes, yeah! We've been waiting with bated breath to see the first color of this specific lineart, because it's a lineart done over a sketch for a concept that absolutely captivated us, that of a ghostly Vlad Monarch becoming a REAL villain for poor Danny... the Bloodhunt concept.

(This lineart is even, in a haphazardly colored version that we absolutely must redo, the temporary cover of Danny Runner and The Phantom Crown!).

Anyway, it's a big deal to us, and it's with trepidation that we decided to enter it into the green-with-envy this year.

And we have to say, for the first color received... it's really super-cool, wow!

You've turned the world around them into a detail-swallowing, absolute darkness, through which shine the evil red grins of the Monarch's henchmen. With the light coming from below, the scene seems even more dramatic, Danny's face distorted in horror, a hasty escape, for his life. And the giant Vlad behind him? We love the details on the teeth, the way you placed the shadows, the fact that all the color (on him and outside of him) is textured. It looks like an old horror movie poster, it's really spectacular.

Wow. You did an absolutely spectacular job!

The cold and ghostly palette, reminiscent of sidereal space, the incredible cloak filled with realistic stars and galaxies (which somehow reminds us of the biblical dragon of the Apocalypse, the one that tore the stars from the sky with its tail... but this is our thing, we really like this metaphor to indicate immense power), the big Moon behind him, somehow so alien, when this satellite is usually familiar, thanks to its acid colors, the contrasts you used... it's all beautiful.

It looks like an epic scene from an even more epic movie.

It's amazing to see your version of this Evil King! Danny. Thanks for coloring this lineart.

Here is the second piece for Green With Envy for me this year! I was really inspired by the lines by @halfalix and @furiarossa and just had to color them. I'm proudest of how the moon and flaming hair came out, but you all will have to tell me your favorite bits in the reblogs!

Title: King of the Stars

Danny Runner is a fourteen-year-old boy with a normal family: mom, dad, a nerdy older sister... and a secret.

Because what kind of fourteen-year-old are you if you don't have a secret? Danny's, however, is terrible and scary: something happened to him, an accident, yes... an accident that is transforming him into something else, something inhuman.

Danny is scared. And alone. And he knows he can't ask his parents for help.

Until he meets someone who seems to have contracted the same strange condition: it is Vladislav Korolkrovi, a mysterious figure from his parents' past. Danny asks him for help... but it seems that this is the biggest mistake of his life.

And this is where the hunt begins.

Get ready to run, exploring a new world, among creatures never seen before and others that, familiar as a recurring dream, will tell you the mythological story... of ghosts!

Temporary cover (we'll make a better one later!) for a book inspired by Danny Phantom, a new story (a completely new rewriting, if you will) that you can both read as a fanfiction (if you know who are the characters to which we are referring) and as a new, original story, because we're gonna introduce everyone from the start :)

23th lineart for this year's @green-with-envy-phandom-event!

Looking yourself in the eye, admitting that you haven't done your best, that your enormous potential is untapped... it takes courage, to admit that you can be stronger, to hold your own hands and do a dance turn. The strange thing, though, is when this isn't a metaphor, but you find yourself in the room with an alternate version of yourself that is much stronger than you.

A little crossover between the one who was originally created as "Monarch Vlad" (and who is now an alternate multiversal version of Vlad Masters, named Vladislav Korolkrovi) and the original Vlad. One of the two has put on the crown and the ring, and this, trust me, can make all the difference in the world.

This is a collaboration: Lines by @trinoxtrinox, sketch (but only of the characters! The room was drawn by Trinox) and color by Furia again (because this year the artist duo Furiarossa&Mimma is split in half! We'll be competing against each other, in two different teams... but still, all the stuff will be posted on the same Tumblr account, or Patreon, or wherever you follow us)

And here's a new feature! Since we're working on a card game, and we want to give all the other participants (and spectators of this event) a fun "demo", we've decided that each of the completed illustrations will be used to make a "Let's Play! Overlord" (more details in the future) card.

All the cards will then be collected at the end in a pdf file and will be freely available to everyone, becoming a print-to-play game that we hope will be fun, and that will include easter eggs and other little treats, but will also be perfectly playable within the main game. 

So here is the 23th card of this special promo set: A dance with your ego.

You should do a redesign of Clockwork, or Pariah Dark if you’ve already done Clockwork.

So let's start off big, shall we? Having to re-design one of the fandom's favorite characters... hmmm... prepare to see him completely butchered!

Or better... prepare to see them completely butchered. We love the idea of strong, elemental ghosts being sexless, genderless creatures, just forces of nature. Leeeet's go!

Here's our new babey:

Clockface

(Just as Clockwork does not show in his drawing any inner workings of mechanical devices, Clockface, obviously, does not show his face XD. Also, Clockwork would have been a very uncharacteristic name for the kind of stories we write, so we definitely had to change it)

Clockface is a nodal ghost (we'll expand on that later, for now the explanation is only available in Italian) with a chronokinetic core.

Appearance 

Clockface, like all nodal ghosts, has an inhuman appearance. 

They're conceptually connected to clocks, calendars, the concept of lost time, and the color purple. 

Despite being entirely composed of ectoplasm, their upper and lower body appear noticeably different: the upper, constantly ticking, resembles a steampunk robot, with gears and "metallic" parts, while the lower is more similar to that of a "common" spiritual entity, with a variable and smoky shape, but which becomes increasingly fragmented, and rotten and decaying, going lower. 

They wear a white mask, which does not hide any face, but only other gears, which in turn protect their core. Their eyes are not located on his head, but on his chest, and are a bright purple color, the same as their aura.

Trivia

They are not a particularly well-liked spirit, and as such there are many nicknames given to them by the other inhabitants of the Otherworld. One of these is simply his name, but without the L.

Clockface is not completely incapable of speaking without singing, but is so obsessed with the idea of ​​"keeping time" that they must sing it vocally. It seems that the metronome that is implanted in their chest was somehow not originally part of their body, but had it implanted.

Clockface is capable of possessing clocks, but has such respect for the passage of time that they always ends up not changing them in any way; a clock possessed by Clockface looks and acts like a normal clock.

As you can see, at the start their design was much more similar to Clockwork, we just established that we wanted the weird clockwork-seethrough-head, and then slowly we worked to change it to the final result!

Just a little black ballpoint pen sketch for "Danny Runner and the Ghost Crown (you can read it here on Wattpad and A03). Not quite a scene, this time, but more of a... vibe.

I'm obsessed with this new story. Obsessed. And can't wait for y'all to understand WHY. I get it, for now it's a "normal" story. But... * bites lip * okay, I can't tell a word, for now. I can't and I won't.

Jack Plasmius from Masters Of All Time didn't satisfy us one bit as an halfa Jack, so here's a completely reworked version of him for our alternative universe RGB Trio! (Witness how quickly they are becoming basically OCs in our hands the more we work on this AU-) 

His whole theme is explosions (an extension of the whole lab accidents deal 👀 ); he's the Trio's wildest destructive force. We still didn't find a perfect name for him, but there's a lot more details waiting to be shared, so new illustrations with these three menaces will arrive!

Second (actually, third, but we're still working on the third) entry for our Spiritdex!  It's Mad Plasmius, representing the active feeders, aka vampire spirits :)

(Also, this sprite is definitely too big to be used in the videogame we're creating... yes. Yes, writing the book, illustrating it, expanding the worldbuilding, creating a sort of ARG site, it's not enough. Now we're creating an entire videogame all in pixel art. That's how much we're passionate about this project!).

Spacecutters are extremely rare wandering spirits. Their unique characteristic is that they can move between the various planes of existence with extreme ease and even, under certain conditions, from one universe to another. Due to their appearance, they are also often called "ghost wolves", although they have no evolutionary relationship with canids.

I'll write short romance novels (you know, like Harlequin format) but with Maddie and Vlad as the main characters, so random middle-aged women and light romance lovers (or even heavy ones, maybe I'll do some AUs with vampires and dark themes) will find themselves shipping my ship without knowing who they really are. Muhahahaha!

I'll do a whole series of books with Maddie and Vlad in different universes. A whole series of novels always with the same main characters, but they'll have different names and will be in different worlds.

Enough, I'll become a writer of the genre I read the least, romance, with the pure power of rarepair.

The young Danny knew how to clean anything: he could choose the perfect sponge so as not to damage the materials, and at the same time scrape away any kind of dirt, and he knew the names of the main active molecules in cleaning products almost by heart.

The official stylist of the Phantom Monarch is a special kind of guy, one of those who love to create extremely complex clothes... and he has a particular love for armor.

Vladislav asked them for an elegant ceremonial armor and ended up with a bit too many pieces (and a bit too decorated) for his taste. No, he will never wear this stuff.

(It would be funnier if you knew what the dialogues say in Italian, but we won't translate them for you... this is a little gem only for Italians ;))
