One's family is the soul of his/her soul. Is there a life without a soul?

I would never wish for my worst enemies to be in my situation (being far away in safety while every member of my family is dodging the bullets, missiles, and shrapnel daily. They live in fear and are deprived of all the necessities for a humane normal life.

I do NOT buy the manipulative misleading news about a ceasefire to be signed soon because we had heard such news countless times in the past year. Unfortunately, the genocide, chaos, loss, and killing will continue in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The atmosphere where I am in Ireland is filled with joy, gratefulness, Christmas songs and decorations, and the streets, cafes, and shops are filled with happy families. However, I look down into my heart and all I see is a broken heart filled with fear and agony. No words in the English language properly and aptly describes the fear that strikes my heart and spreads with blood through my body when my mother said: "The bombing never stops in our area and the quad copters fire their bullets at people walking in the street." Even the most gory and bloody horror movies can not reflect a portion of the terror and fear the has overtaken and consumed people.

When I hear the work Nusairat, the area in central Gaza where my family is, I get a panic attack and suddenly lose sense of my surrounding. I hear news everyday about entire families including women and children being targeted by Israeli missiles made in American and Europe, and I fear for my family. Would not you, too? Me and you are not so different after all. We are made of flesh, bones and blood. We have dreams, ambitions and aspirations. We care and fear for our families and loved ones. So, what made our blood in Gaza so cheap? When did we turn into less of human beings?

I can tell you without equivocation that we are damaged and broken beyond what you could possibly think. Entire cities in the Gaza Strip were flattened. My family's house in the north of Gaza was severely damaged and our city has turned into an unlivable ghost city.

From our family to all the families out there that care for Gaza and Gazans, please boost our campaign in whatever way you can and help us reach our final goal. Help my family evacuate and reunite in Ireland. While enjoying this Christmas break with your family and loved ones, please do not forget your brothers and sisters in Gaza who go through horrors you cannot begin to imagine.

My family is in a place where a missile can fall and tear them to pieces. We deserve to be together in a safe place away from the chaos, death, terror, and bullets. Please put your hand in mine as I strive to get them out of there. Please contribute to this noble cause in whatever way you can. Take whatever action; do something, please!

the situation in khan younis (southern gaza) is getting worse and worse everyday with israel trying to push more palestinians into rafah (the designed ‘safe zone’ which btw they have also been relentlessly bombing for weeks). doctors are performing open surgery at al-nasser hospital in the middle of power cuts and amputations while under siege and constant bombing around it. journalist saleh al jafarawi (@/saleh_aljafarawi on ig) is still in khan younis so he reports on the situation there - it is deteriorating rapidly and the number of injured and martyrs is huge. palestinians are getting sniped trying to retrieve loved ones and flee once again while carrying white flags, a repeat of what they lived when forced to evacuate from hospitals and homes in northern gaza. after succeeding in forcibly displacing palestinians from khan younis, israeli quad copters opened fire on them. palestinians are digging mass graves at al-nasser hospital for the martyrs. al-nasser itself is on the brink of collapse, in the same state al-shifa hospital in the north was, and today, after a day of non-stop bombings on khan younis, journalist mohammed el helo (@/mo_elhelo21 on ig), reports that al-nasser cannot deal with the huge volume of injured and displaced palestinians it is receiving

In HTTYD2 and THW respectively there’s dragons that are doing things because others are forcing them to. In THW it’s the Deathgrippers and in HTTYD2 it’s the Bewilderbeast.

Both groups are being forced to do these things to our protagonists, Hiccup and Toothless. Yet instead of punishing the humans responsible for this, they punish the dragons.

But let’s take a step back, get some context.

In HTTYD2 we meet two Bewilderbeast; Valka’s and Drago’s. One is kind and free to do whatever he wants, the other has chains, scars and is being abused by Drago.

In HTTYD3 we get another new species; Deathgrippers. They have a venom that kinda does what it wants when the plot demands it but one thing has always been consistent is the fact that Grimmel controls the Deathgrippers with this venom. He even says “They’re dragon killers. Drugged into obedience with their own venom. Not even your precious Alpha could control them.”

So now that we’ve established that, let’s return to the big picture; humans controlling dragons to do bad things, yet humans get no blame for this.

In HTTYD2 and 3, when it’s time to take out the big bad it’s always the abused/mind controlled dragons taking the fall and gravity taking out the villain who orchestrated this mess.

Toothless and the other dragons literally maim the Bewilderbeast (and he wasn’t even fighting back) until he leaves.

Toothless and Hiccup kill the Deathgrippers, two due to inaction (letting them drown while being connected to Grimmel’s quad copter) and four more when Toothless electrocuted them.

You could say they didn’t have the time, but Hiccup and Toothless aren’t our only characters. Let Valka and Eret do it, since they got so little focus in this movie.

Even with the Bewilderbeast, Hiccup or Toothless could’ve snapped Drago’s stick and killed him. Instead of maiming the Bewilderbeast.

Tl;dr: Dean is a terrible storyteller.

Peppa's Christmas (Season 2): While Peppa and her family get a Christmas tree and bring it home to decorate, she hopes that all of her friends get the gifts they asked Father Christmas for.

Santa's Grotto (Season 3): As everyone goes to The Christmas Fair to see the jolly man in his grotto, Peppa and her best friend, Suzy Sheep asks Father Christmas for a doll that walks, and talks, and close its eyes when it goes to sleep before she and her family head to her grandparents house to spend Christmas with them and the rest of her family.

Santa's Visit (Season 3): As Part 2 to Santa's Grotto, Peppa and her family wake up to find gifts under the tree on Christmas Day, but there is no present for Peppa!

Mr. Potato's Christmas Show (Season 4): Madame Gazelle takes Peppa's playgroup to the theater to see Mr. Potato's Christmas Show featuring Mrs Carrot, Sweet Cranberry, Little Sprout, & a special guest.

Father Christmas (Season 5): Peppa's playgroup is putting on a Christmas play for their parents and Peppa asks Father Christmas if he can stop by to watch their show despite his busy schedule.

Christmas at The Hospital (Season 6): It's Christmas once again, but Peppa has hurt her arm and Dr. Brown Bear rushes her to the hospital where Ms. Rabbit has everything has been beautifully decorated to fit the holiday spirit and she sees her friend, Pedro Pony is at the hospital too from a banged leg.

Christmas with Kylie Kangaroo (Season 6): Peppa and her family head to Australia to meet with Kylie Kangeroo and her family to spend Christmas with them and learn that Kylie's family spend this time of year pretty differently.

Grandpa Pig's Christmas Present (Season 7): Grandpa Pig receives a drone or a Quad-Copter in his words from Father Christmas and decides to test it outside until it eventually gets lost in the sky.

Christmas Cards (Season 8/Upcoming): Peppa's playgroup, Madame Gazelle, and Granny Sheep come together to make a giant Christmas card filled with messages, drawings, and gifts for Father Christmas as a way to say 'thank you'.

There's a likely chance there will be more Christmas episodes in the future since this series is ongoing.

Okay.....well, I certainly have some explaining to do! So.....Peppa Pig. She's been around recently. Well, actually no. Peppa Pig came out in 2004, but she's been skyrocketing in popularity since the last several years or so. She's all over YouTube and YouTube Kids. I used to watch this pig on cable TV from the Nick Jr. channel back when it was called, Noggin! Peppa Pig is currently on its eight season and still going on. You're definitely asking yourselves, "Why the heck are you watching that garbage kid show for babies? What, do you watch Cocomelon too?!" No. I don't watch Cocomelon. Yes. I do often watch Peppa Pig. I knew this show since I was young. I practically grew up with it. I watched that pig become popular in the blink of an eye! Every episode is like five minutes (unless it's a special in which it's either 10-15 minutes). I sometimes put this show on for white noise while I'm working and it's not that bad. It's not that annoying for me. Maybe in the first two seasons it was boring until Season 3 shook things up and that also helps with how Harley Bird voiced Peppa from 2009 til 2019. She did a great job with such a cheeky character. Personally, I enjoy watching all the special episodes. The Christmas episodes always have a nice charm to them. They're harmless and that's all I can ask for a five-minute kid show. It's just.....something nice to pass the time.

GAZA STRIP (PrR)(RNN) — The genocide in Gaza and particularly in the northern Gaza Strip continues before the world's eyes.

Northern Gaza Strip:

54 martyrs ascended in IOF airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, 39 of them in the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation bombed the Kamal Adwan hospital while patients, injured children, women, doctors, nurses, and more were still trapped inside and attempted to evacuate.

Horrific images emerged from Kamal Adwan Hospital which was bombed in the evening and then again today after the IOF bombed all the water tanks on the roof. The maintenance team is unable to reach the hospital’s rooftop to carry out essential repairs because of repeated attacks and the hospital is now with no water.

Civil defense services remain forcibly disabled across all areas in northern Gaza due to ongoing IOF targeting and aggression, leaving thousands of residents without humanitarian and medical care. On October 23, 2024, the IOF attacked civil defense teams in northern Gaza, seized their vehicles, displaced most personnel to the southern part of the Strip, and abducted nine of them.

Additional attacks on the health sector today included the ascension of 8 martyrs as a result of the occupation bombing a home behind Al-Fakhoura Clinic in Jabalia camp.

This morning, IOF drones dropped leaflets demanding evacuation in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. A large movement of displacement from the Al-Sheema area, in the north of Beit Lahia, has followed as a result.

Despite the leaflets asking resident to move to Salah Al-Din Road, a quad copter drone kept firing explosives and shots in the area.

It's interesting seeing how the term 'drone' has been evolving lately. It started off as referring to male bees and/or describing humming noises, and then it became synonymous with remote-controlled devices. And machines that are made to be piloted from afar, and male bees in the classical hivemind, creates the connotation of the word drone as being mass-produced, lacking individuality, even soulless for a lot of people. Robotic, like insects.

Breezing past how this is a misunderstanding of insects in a lot of ways, recently the term 'drone' has been used to refer to a specific type of remote-controlled vehicle, the quad-copter many of us are familiar with, often mounted with a camera. And I'm intrigued by how the word is going to change for future generations, because I see how drones have become more of a cultural mainstay, and even have representation in toys!

Take for example, Lego; We've got a Spider-Man drone set, and for Ninjago, there's a drone side build. In the case of Spider-Man, his vehicle being called a drone isn't because it's more soulless, mass-produced, or robotic than other vehicles he's had; It's just referring to the structure of this vehicle as a quad-copter. The drone as meaning the quad-copter has become normalized, including in kids' media, and for future generations the quad-copter might be the first thing people think of. So it's overall fascinating to see etymology evolve in real time, it's one of the little pleasures in life.

Big night for that "I Don't Know How To Explain To You That You Should Care About Other People" quote as I watch people decide that slaughtering tens of thousands of people is not enough of a crime to convince them not to watch and support a show trying to act like that's a normal thing for their participant states to do.

That it's business as usual whilst ambulances are strafed by quad copters and people actively enduring starvation and a slow death by thirst wait in rubble and tents to find out if today's the day they get blown to bits or shot in the back.

Israel is armed to the teeth. They have tanks, nukes, artillery, and an air force. The six-day war lasted 6 days for a reason. Don't tell me that a nation whose army annihilated all of its enemies' air forces and claimed Sinai, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights in six days is under "existential threat".

They also get billions of dollars in foreign aid, are protected from boycotts divestments & sanctions by law, and have technology which uses radar-coordinated computer-guided missiles to intercept and neutralize Hamas rockets. So don't tell me that bombing is the only way to destroy Hamas. They could design a quad-copter drone with a silenced small caliber precision gun to fly into Hamas territory at night and precisely target terrorists without flattening infrastructure. They could attach a 40mm grenade launcher with a thermite shell to a drone and use it to melt and disable Hamas rocket launchers without bombing civilians.

Hell, they could just supply and support a Palestinian resistance against Hamas, in the same way they supported Hamas as a "counterweight" against the secular Fatah.

So don't tell me that what is happening now is Israel's only way to defend itself. Don't tell me that this is the only way to defeat Hamas.

I think it would be neat to have a tactics RPG where the top-down view and turn-based or real-time-with-pause combat is diagetic. Like, the player character gets a magic VR headset and quad copter with magic time powers at the beginning of the game, or is a demigod with time powers who likes to be a bird, or it's all taking place at a military school and if you fail a combat scenario the instructor tells you what you did wrong and has you redo the exercise.

In a previous session (not documented) I had built a helicopter that shoots at the player, forcing them to dodge. In this session I have added art.

For thematic art i have update a few things. Barricades and destroyed vehicles that spawn on the left (stopping progress into the city), 'Hazardous Chemicals' spawning as obstacles all over and a rarer downed aircraft.
