In celebration of the life of Brian Wilson, I'm kicking off the weekend with the Beach Boys song Let Him Run Wild. This was the flip side of the California Girls single. Brian sings the lead and is supported by the signature Beach Boys harmonizing. Growing up in the 60's, I completely enraptured with the music I was hearing on my transistor radio. In particular, The Beach Boys, along with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, made me feel like I was living in the best possible time on earth as those turned produced a steady flow of hit songs on the pop charts. I still fee that way today.

California Girls/Let Him Run Wild was the first 45 RPM record I ever owned. There is a story about how I acquired that record at the link below.
