hi everyone! no page today, probably not sunday either. my pc has been out of commission for over a month so i've been drawing on my laptop--but i'm getting to the point where i really would like to 3d model my backgrounds to make them a little easier on me and give me more energy to experiment/make pages nicer, so i'm going to try to hold out until my pc gets fixed and i can do so for these next couple of pages.

it'll be a lot of front-loaded work, but it'll be worth it in the long run, i think!

how do you get such high quality footage from screen recording a video game for your gifs? because i tried it with the default app that came with my pc and it looked like it was recorded with a potato

i use obs to record all of my footage. these are the settings i use:

video/general: (i don't have a 4k monitor, but i do set the base canvas resolution to 4k, the video comes out in a better quality).

output/recording:

advanced/recording: important to mark the remux to mp4, it will automatically convert the mkv files to mp4 right after you complete a recording (you can convert them later using obs).
