one of my favorite headcanons of all time is that sozin and ta min had a bitter rivalry but only when roku wasn't paying attention. imagine that gravity falls clip of dipper and robbie death glaring each other while wendy's distracted and then acting civil when she's back. it's That. they put it aside for roku's sake but the moment he's gone ta min takes the opportunity to roast sozin hard. if it weren't for the diplomatic immunity granted to her as the avatar's spouse, he'd have her removed, but he can't. she's his problem for the rest of roku's life.

oh kay oh kay oH KAY. Ta Min and Roku are the cutest couple ever this is canon I am NOT making anything up. Rozin you have a special place in my heart but Ta Min and Roku... they're adorable

Ta Min teaches Roku how to sew because he keeps ripping his robes whilst doing Avatar Mission Things and she doesn't want to keep fixing them herself

When Roku gets older and when his arthritis develops (headcanon) she starts putting his hair up for him and he's always so blushy and flustered about it

Roku could not care less about whether his child can bend or not. He's sobbing in joy when his kid is born, he's got 0 cares about if they can spit flames.

Also Roku is literally so emotional about his kid. They do anything for the first time? They take their first step? They babble out their first word? He's literally sobbing about anything and everything. Ta Min had to literally drag him away when they dropped their kid off at school for the first time

Ta Min can swordfight because of this picture and she's definitely beaten Roku's ass during a fight before (it just makes him fall even more in love)

Roku makes sure to introduce Fang to his kid as soon as possible. When his kid is older, he sometimes takes them out on rides (w/ Ta Min's permission) around their home because he loves how happy they are ("Dad!! We're up so high!" *his heart melts*)

No Gain, No Love 손해 보기 싫어서 (2024)

So I binged Hierarchy on Netflix and OH MY GODS. It's so good. I see people lashing out on the drama because they want UK and Spain type of high school drama but can we please acknowledge that THIS IS ASIA. The standards and morals are DIFFERENT here. Why are you expecting the UK and Spain kinda storyline in a country that's NOT UK or Spain.

It makes each character so very morally grey that you cannot help but root for all of them.

Kang Ha is driven by revenge but truly cares for Jae-i. He also wants to make amends (I think. I don't think he's the one who sent the last message).

Jae-i is a tortured heroine and will go to any lengths to protect the people she loves and I'm here for it. But she's also someone who acknowledged her mistakes and that of her friends. She's also very steady. Like a rock.

Ri-an, again is someone who is accountable. He takes responsibility for his mistakes once he's aware of it but he's also arrogant. But he's so selectively loyal that it just gives Slytherin vibes. He's also a tortured chaebol and loves loves loves Jae-i.

Woo jin is a mastermind. He's kind but he'll do anything and I mean anything for the person he chooses. It's so cool to see him choosing one friend over another. And he's so artistic. He's a kind face but a wicked mind. So morally grey

Yoon He-ra is jealous and prideful. She herself admits that she's a bitch but she's a bitch with morals. I absolutely loved the dynamics between her and jae-i and the way it ended. And seriously. You will grow to love her.

I loved the way they absolved the love triangle also. They made a case for each one of the characters. They didn't make Jae-i indecisive. She was headstrong and steadfast. And it didn't downgrade one love interest over another. Both love and care for jae-i in their own way. Jae-i also doesn't lead anyone on.

And the way Kang Ha made the school take responsibility- it wasn't your typical revenge drama. That's why I think that the last message wasn't sent by Kang Ha. He's not the type to do it.

All the characters are so morally grey. Especially Ri-an. I loved every single one of them. I would totally recommend it because it really is very good. I genuinely hope this gets a season 2.

Ra Min's children 🌸

Just a quick heads up ─ Roku and Ta Min are a t4t couple in my very own book. Ta Min is Korean, Roku is Filipino.

Roku comes from a political clan called Del Rosario which stood for 'of the rosary' in Spanish and Portuguese.

Ta is from a noble clan called the Min, which means 'sharp-minded' or' quick response'.

Questions or headcanons about them is greatly appreciative!

Oldest Daughter (Firebender) [16]: Seo-Yeon ─ Ta was the one who gave her name where Roku is still resting peacefully. When Roku finally woke up from his slumber, Ta asked if the name is suitable to which Roku agrees warmly. Seo alone means 'felicitous omen' or 'auspicious,' however if combined with Yeon, both means 'beautiful.'

She took after Ta Min's profession, becoming a diplomat as well. But after her father's death, she quitted the job to cake care of her mother. Knowing that Ta may not express it verbally, it can be tell that she needs help to dealt with this kind of pain.

Laidback and levelheaded, is stern when the circumstances are needed.

First-Born Son (Non-bender) [11]: Andrés ─ It means 'manly' or 'brave' which is a name originated from Spanish. However, Andrés is a name that symbolizes bravery the most. Its a name that has been given to him by Roku and oh boy.. Andrés does take his name seriously.

He inherited his father's carelessness for his well-being. Up to you to decide whether is that a good thing or a bad thing.

Was rowdy and full of surprises, while he does become respectful and understanding growing up - he was like his parents younger selves, just wanting to have fun and goof off. (By goofing off, I mean almost sending his parents into an early grave.)

Second-born Daughter (Non-bender) [9]: Adhika ─ A name that means 'honorable.' It's a unique and traditional filipino name. However, Adhika made herself up a nickname called 'Rina.' Aside from Ra Min, 'Rina' is a shorter version of their ship name! It's an inside joke between her, and the family.

During the 100 year old war, the playful subriquet slowly becomes her new name as a way to not be acknowledged as the Avatar's daughter.

She's a former vigilante spy, taking after her father and mother's profession.

Youngest Son (Firebender) [7]: Hyuk ─ In korean, it is mostly associated 'bright' synonyms. Mainly because of how his eyes are twinkling when he first opened them. It awes the parents wholeheartedly. Hyuk is born deaf, needing extra attention from both Roku and Ta Min. But overall, a really sweet boy.

He is observant and is quick-witted, figuring out the dots easily. While communication is definitely an option, sometimes it's not always the case on his behalf.

At first, he degrades himself for being born with a disability. He thought he dragged everyone down. With enough reassurance and love from the family that he isn't a burden, he accepted the fact that this is the true him.

Roku and Ta Min would take turns on naming their kids, while Roku only cares about the children's general health and is loved in any shape and form - he cherish the fact that how Ta Min took her time to name these little goobers, and put so much thought onto them. They had their fun approving and disapproving other names, even have their own little banters with each other while their babies are asleep soundly. Despite the pain that Roku still felt, he'd be fully relaxed and safe in the arms of his lover. Ta Min makes sure that Roku gets a checkup or two if his health is declining, sickly worried for him and its justified.

This took such a long time!! I was researching left and right in my tabs and everything, I even doubt what am I naming these children 😭. I tried giving them a little flavor other than simply giving them names. The Ra Min's children played a huge part during the war, which is another story.

He found them sitting alone atop the Congregation. It was the wee hours of the morning, the sun not even gracing the horizon with its first light and yet he knew they would be awake. Sleep would not come to them after the events of the Vault and it seems neither for him. He did not hide his steps, not hiding his deafening clinks of armor as he let his hand pull out the chair beside them. They did not remove the tight white grip they had upon their hair, didn't move their tear-stained checks towards him as he took a seat upon their right, and they did not breathe in his direction as he faced his eyes towards them. It was a standoff then. Ito did not move to face him, made no noise to acknowledge he was even there while Estinien made no move to speak platitudes. What was there to say that was not already given? To this grief that marked this stoic and proud warrior so plainly? Nothing spoken could bandage this bleeding heart. Nothing said could bring him back. So he simply let out his hand between them. An offer. A kindness of touch he is sure no one has yet offered them but the young boy under their care. A reminder that he is here, no matter the path. They fit their small hand in his with nary a word, their grip tight enough to make his armor groan in protest but he held them gently as they broke and broke upon the early morning sun.
