I finished the Scugs!

I wanted to draw the Slugcats in my Style since a while now. I actually started on that a while ago with Survivor.

I took two attempts on this designs. Since yesterday I sketched Survivor and Monk but I wasn't very happy on how they looked. So I tried again today with a more Rodent-Vibe to them. And I like that a way lot more!

Hello everyone, @kaceyunderfell here! This is my newest au, where Rivulet takes the Mass Rarefaction Cell's power

Now, Rivulet ofc doesn't know they took the Cell's power and still thinks it is an important object to be kept safe!

They have gained the ability to float from the Cell, and maybe something more..?

Artblock is setting in, but I'll get through the asks eventually ^^

Some "Pixelart" i did a while ago.

NYEL superstructure (I don't think I introduced her yet, she's one of my OC's and she is somewhat important to the story ig.)

No, I'm not making any of this into a mod for the game, saying this because someone already asked me about this. I do not have the skill or time to do something like this. Although the indea of this being somehow turned into a mod seems interesting. But its not happening : /

already posted this onto my my poll post, but i felt it deserves it's own <3 Spearmaster's design is done!! The antennas are inspired by Glummbus' designs on steam, I quite like the idea of incorporating the fact that they can listen to broadcasts into the design <3

I finally finished all of my Designs for the Rainworld Slugcats! Vanilla, Watcher and Downpour!

They were so so much fun to draw I tell you! I think my favorites were Artificer and Spearmaster xD

I plan on drawing my own Slugcat-OCs in that style as well! Gonna be a lot of fun!

Below the Cut will be a better View at each Design as well as some Rambling about the Design-Choices!

Survivor: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the Survivor due to their Name. The Scar on their Ear comes from their Fall and they have a Lizard-bite-mark on their left leg. They're not a fully grown adult yet.

Monk: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the Monk due to their Name. Due to their pacifistic Nature, they avoid fights ergo doesn't have Scars. Runt of the Litter and very small for their age.

Hunter: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the Hunter due to their Name. They got the Mark from No Significant Harassment. Scar on their right ear, right Eye and both legs. Rot-Cysts on their Bag, that help them carry around a second spear. Gave them Green eyes as a connection to No Significant Harassment.

Watcher: Never gets the Mark of Communication, so no Symbol on their Forehead. Instead their Body is covered with Echo-"Chains" that glow in the Dark same with their Eyes. Ripple-Effects around them. They're a bit younger than Survivor and Monk but around the same Size like Monk.

Gourmand: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the Mother due to their Role as the Leader of their Colony and them carrying around two Slugcats after the End of their Campain. Lizard-Bite-Mark on their right Arm and a small Scar on their left side that comes from a Spear-Throw by a Scavenger.

Artificer: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the the Outlaw due to their violent and killing Nature towards Scavengers. They're covered in a slight layer of fur, which they groom regulary. Their Saliva is easily flameable due to Artificers Diet producing certain chemicals for it. The Grooming makes it cover their Fur, which helps them with their Explosion-Jumps. Like that they also create their Spears and Bombs. Said Chemicals in their Saliva also reacts with pressure which causes Artificer to explode when diving to deep into Water.

Rivulet: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the Nomad due to the fact, they traveled from a far away land all the way to Five Pebbles and Looks to the Moon. Who gave them the Mark is Unknown. Body secrets a liquid similar to water which helps them stay moist outside of it. All Slugcats have this function, but Rivulets works stronger, making them very slippery.

Spearmaster: The Mark of Communication-Symbol on their Forehead is the Matyr. Due to the fact they can't eat like a normal Slugcat. They only got the Mark after visiting Five Pebbles, since Seven Red Runs never gave them one. The Spots on their Back can't create Spears, only the bigger ones on their Tail. X-Like Scar on their Chest where Five Pebbles ripped the Pearl out.

Saint: Never gets the Mark of Communication, so no Symbol except the 3 Dots on their Forehead. Their Tail is yellowish, based on one official Artwork of them. Echo-Aura with Tentacles around them. Carrying around a Glowstone to keep themself warm. Also covered in a thick, green fur that isn't covered in moist liquid, else they would freeze faster.

Sizes from Tallest to Smallest:

Gourmand, Spearmaster, Artificer, Hunter, Rivulet, Saint, Survivor, Monk, Watcher.
