💀Lies in Bone by @nataliesymons💀

I don't know about you, but sometimes it's hard to get into reading when you do so much of it. And then you get into a book slump.

I've been in one the past week or so. It's hard to get into new books sometimes. But Natalie Symons' book Lies in Bone is kind of getting through that slump.

I haven't finished it yet, but so far, I'm really enjoying it! I can't wait to see what scenarios Frank finds herself in, especially in the maybe "haunted" town of Slippery Elm. It has a history. A dark one. And it's just about to unfold.

If you like mystery/thriller, I would recommend this one. Make sure you check the trigger warnings, though.

Good morning! How are y’all doing? As the holiday season comes to an end, I (of course) have been doing some book shopping! I’m spending the holidays in the city so I was finally able to explore Powell’s and find some real gems to take home with me. I also spent some time just hanging out in some cafes and read all of Cursed, an anthology of twisted fairytales! Blimey – that was a long old week. After a long weekend away, doing a five day stint in the office was a killer. Not helped by the fact I felt like I was perpetually in meetings from Monday through to Thursday. Once again, reading suffered Monday – Friday as, despite having some cracking books in front of me, I’ve been too tired to read them, Thank heavens for weekends! Nothing exciting to share…
