Demonbull family Headcanons!!

+ In my aus Princess Iron Fan had twins!!

Redboy and Redson are almost identical twins with very few differences in their appearances.

+ I don't like how Lego Monkie Kid potread the family dynamic, so PIF is NOT the same as the show. Instead, she is closer to the JTTW version. She is a doting mother who loves both of her children. She is especially protective of Redson because he lost his fire. But she is proud of Redboy for being able to control it.

+ Redboy is the older one, he is able to control the Samadi Fire and weild it with ease.

Redboy has large bull horns, a short tail and is rather buff.

He is the heir to the family name because he is the naturally stronger one. He takes great pride in this and often boasts about his skill in combat.

He loves his brother and is very willing to protect him. But sometimes, he gets jealous whenever his mother gets to appear closer to Redson. He knows that his mother loves both of them, but he can't help this jealousy that resides in him.

He does not approve of Xiaotian when he starts to court his little brother.

+ Redson is the younger, he had the Samadi Fire taken from him because he was unable to control it.

Redson has small bull horns, and a long tail that resembles a bull tail.

Because he was unable to control the Samadi Fire he took to creating weapons and tools for his family and himself.

He likes his space but longs to make his parents proud like his brother. He loves it when they give him attention but always feels like his lack of power disappoints them.

He takes a rather quick liking to a certain monkey demon who always seems to stick his nose into stuff he really shouldn't. Of course, he hides these emotions for the longest time but can't help the blush that covers his face at the mention of him.

Journey to the West Chapter 40

Monkey offering to carry Redboy like:

Welcome back to Journey to the West with @journeythroughjourneytothewest. This week we get our first real introduction to the closest thing this book has to a reoccurring villain (If you don't count the gods causing problems on purpose) so let's get into it shall we?

So Monkey goes back to the others and tells them what happened with the Bodhisattva. Just then however four Monks arrive at the city, Pigsy is worried they might be trouble, however it turns out they are just here with the Kings dry cleaning. So they get the king dressed back in his kingsly outfit and tell him to ascend the throne once again. At first the King refuses saying he doesn't deserve such an honor, however when he turns to Monkey- Monkey shuts that down real quick. If he wanted to be King he would have just stayed on flower fruit mountain after all. After that the King morosely ascends the throne once again, rewards the monks from that one temple, and even has paintings commissioned of our four monks. After all that the King sends them off in style by having Tripitaka sit in the imperial chariot and having an honor guard lead him until he is out of the city. With that our group is ready to continue their journey west until their next big adventure.

So our group travels for a couple weeks until they reach yet another mountain. Tripitaka- who unsurprisingly has mountain trauma, warns them to be careful. Monkey who surprisingly does not have mountain trauma tells him it will be fine. They continue to travel through the mountain for a while before Monkey suddenly see's a great big fireball rise into the sky. So Monkey tackles Tripitaka off his horse and tells Pigsy and Sandy to be ready for combat. The Giant Fireball notices Monkey noticing him, and although he really wants some tasty monk meat- resolves to be sneakier about this rather then picking a fight with someone powerful enough to notice him.

So the fireball disperses as the demon instead transforms into a seven year old boy tied to a tree and screaming for help. Meanwhile Monkey notices the coast is clear and tells Tripitaka it's safe to proceed again. Tripitaka however is doubtful since Monkey said there was a monster, but since it didn't attack them Monkey just says it must have been a passerby. As he explains even demons can get dinner invites or something and just be passerby's. Tripitaka is still skeptical but nevertheless mounts his horse to continue on.

Soon enough however Tripitaka hears someone calling out for help. Tripitaka wants to go to their aid, but Monkey begs him for once to just leave it alone. After all it's definitely just some demon trying to trick him, so can he please shelve his kindness until they are off the spooky demon mountain? Tripitaka reluctantly agrees, but Monkey isn't willing to take any chances. So he let's them go a little further ahead of him while he uses the distance reduction spell again, in order to separate Tripitaka further from whoever is calling out for help.

The demon meanwhile is wondering what's taking them so long to get to him, and decides to once again get closer. So he once again transforms into a great ball of fire and zooms across the sky to plant himself half a mile away from them. Upon seeing this Monkey once again tackles Tripitaka off the horse while yelling that the monster is back again. The monster seeing that Tripitaka is once again surrounded by protectors resolves to get rid of whoever has such good perception abilities before making a move.

So while the demon once again starts up his crying child act- Tripitaka is almost to busy yelling at Monkey to even hear him, since Monkey once again just decided to say that the monster was just a passerby. Getting yanked off of the horse is dangerous! Is he just trying to spooky him?! Tripitaka is almost incensed enough to start reciting the tight fillet spell, but Sandy who I guess is the Anti-Pigsy convinces him not to. After Tripitaka gets tired of yelling he mounts the horse to continue on their way. However he almost immediately starts up again when he see's the child tied to the tree crying for help. So he calls Monkey villainous, for insisting it was a monster when instead it is clearly a human in need of help. Monkey knows it's a monster but has no choice but to let Tripitaka approach since there will be no reasoning with him when he's in one of these moods and he'd rather not get the tight fillet spell used on him.

Anyways Tripitaka demands to hear the kids page long made up backstory and the demon is more then happy to oblige. Which basically amounts to: He was from a well off family, but they were attacked by bandits, his father was killed, his mother abducted, and he was left hanging here to die a slow painful death. Anyways, if they would be so kind as to rescue him he will be sure to repay them. Tripitaka of course instantly believes him, and orders Pigsy to cut the kid down. Pigsy moves to do so, but Monkey objects! Saying that the kids tales don't add up, and besides, if all his relatives are dead, what are they even supposed to do with the kid if they rescue him?

But when the kid says they'll sell some land in order to pay them back, Pigsy is instantly on board at the idea of some reward money, and shoves Monkey aside in order to cut the kid loose. Anyways after they cut the kid loose they do the exact same song and dance they did with the Silver Demon when he was disguised as an elderly daoist. All 'Oh, I'm to tired and sore to ride a horse' and 'Pigsy and Sandy are far to scary looking to carry me' and so when Monkey's name comes up, he eagerly obliges like "Give me the child~ I promise I won't try and bash him against the rocks as soon as your back is turned~"

The demon agrees since he wanted to go with Monkey in order to figure out how to get rid of him anyways. Anyways once Monkey gets the kid situated on his back and notes that he's pretty light for a seven year old. The kid however defends his weight saying he just didn't get enough milk as a child. Anyways they continue on, but Monkey is getting more and more irritated at having to carry this demon, and decides he should just kill him now and be done with it. Sensing his thoughts, the demon tries to weigh him down with magic, which Monkey thinks is just adorable, since a thousand pounds is nothing to him considering he puts a 17,750 pound stick behind his ear on a daily basis.

Anyways the Demon drops his body just in time to avoid Monkey tearing it to shreds and decides this is the best chance he'll have to kidnap Tripitaka. So the demon whips up a whirlwind, and once the wind stop they all notice Tripitaka is gone. Again. Monkey meanwhile is so done with all of this that he suggests they all disband right then and there. Pigsy is all for this plan, but Sandy gives a beautiful speech about redemption and finishing what you start, which even manages to change Pigsy's mind. Seeing the other two disciples roaring to go, gets Monkey out of his funk, so they all begin searching the mountain.

They search the mountain for a while, before Monkey seemingly gets frustrated and transforms into his three headed war form and starts lashing out in every direction. This display however is enough to get all the local mountain gods out of their hidey holes to great the Great Sage properly, and there is a lot of them to, thirty mountain gods, and thirty local spirits. Anyways Monkey asks them about their local demon problem and it turns out there is just one, but he's a nasty one. He bully's the local gods, and has taken up residence in Fiery Cloud Cave. He also has vast magical powers, and has mastered something known as the true fire of Samadhi. Most importantly, to Monkey at least, the Demon known as Redboy is actually the son of the Bull Demon King. Who was Sun Wukong's body back in his own demon king days.

Anyways Monkey is pleased to hear that this demon is basically his nephew and flies down to tell Pigsy and Sandy the good news. Sandy points out that the demon likely isn't going to care that Monkey and his dad were friends five hundred years ago but Monkey remains optimistic that he can talk the kid into giving them back their master unharmed. So with that being the plan, Pigsy and Monkey go to the cave to confront the demon and politely ask him to return Tripitaka, while Sandy stays behind to babysit the horse and luggage.
