Well, this is certainly an Iconic moment to complete NaNoWriMo with...

She doesn’t know how long she stood in front of that gilded mirror either, simply staring. Not even at herself, as there was no reflection to be had from that particular looking glass. She felt a particular kinship with Alice, and pondered perhaps there might be a world at the other side of that mirror, and if she could just… she reaches a finger out to prod at the mirror, hoping to might feel the tip of it slide right through, mercurial like water. What happens instead is a vice grip snagging at her wrist as something uses her as anchor to pull itself out. She shrieks, the thing following her out even after she shakes it loose. A scrambling body reaches blind for her, just the bare arms shaken loose from the glass first, then comes the torso, twisting in a rictous until its face contorts to greet her, chin tipped upward, jaw stretched open in a wretched harpy scream, as if to summon an entire flock just like her. The thing’s pale hair falls backwards into her face, long and trailing against the dusty floorboards. And when it shakes loose, it’s penetrating green eyes, two emeralds gleaming headlights, catching Marnie faun-like in their gaze. Marnie’s head snaps to her only clear exit: the door she came through. But this is eliminated as quickly as its sought out, slamming before she can even run to it. It’s not only locked from the outside, but melted into the wall until Marnie’s not even sure a door was there in the first place. And now all that’s left is… The window. The two parting window panes unlatch easily at her touch, and she stretches one adolescent leg up onto the sill, then the other, until she’s standing, overlooking the garden below. And with one final fearful glance back at the creature pursuing her, she jumps.

so since we know sunday and robin are halovians from pom-pom's intel segment, imagine sunday being in love with u, but doesnt even get to process his feelings or even confess because the next thing he knows is his heart is being (telepathically) spilled out to the masses and all he can do is maintain his smile while wholly wishing for the ground to swallow him whole.

(whether that last part gets telepathically communicated or not doesnt matter to him; not when he sees your stunned expression amidst the bustling crowd, his thoughts ceasing as you remain clear among the blurred surroundings.)

I just wanna do some quick manifesting:

Rick and Michonne WILL have an on-screen reunion with RJ and Judith.

It’s gotta happen. It’s gonna happen. 😌🙏🏽

Now, I don’t have any confirmation about this whatsoever but I’m speaking it into existence lol. I truly hadn’t even considered a scenario where we don’t see them reunite with their babies, but I know there’s some concern out there that we might not see their family reunion. But, y’all, I feel confident we don’t have to worry.

And why do I feel confident? Because I trust Danai. And Andy too, of course. It’s just y’all, I know the Danai Gurira knows how important it is that Rick and Michonne are seen reuniting with their children as they close out their story. Danai is the one who knew Michonne needed a special moment with Carl in his final episode and with Rick in his final episode (which the fact that both moments almost didn’t happen when they should have been a given from the jump remains mind-boggling to me…but nevertheless, Danai knew it was needed and we got incredibly heartfelt final scenes with her and her 2 Grimes’ boys in TWD). I know anything can happen (or not happen), but with the way she and Andy know how important it is for this family to have their moments when things come to an end, I just strongly feel like we can still anticipate a Grimes Family 2.0 reunion at some point in this miniseries (that I’ve been calling “7x12: The TV Show” lol).

No matter how brief and no matter when, we will see both Rick and Michonne return to their kids. It’s gotta happen. It’s gonna happen. 😌👌🏽

There have always been some weirdly toxic people in the GOT/HOTD fandom that get waaaaaaay too attached to a character and overly hate other characters. They take everything as a personal attack

   A while ago, Tony had been feeling generous and had offered to update everyone's personal computers. And Nat was definitely in need of an upgrade, she was still using the old laptop she was first given when she joined SHIELD years ago. It still ran, which she was grateful for, but it did lack speed and some other niceties. So she took him up on said offer.

   Which is why she now finds herself sitting at her desk with two laptops in front of her while she transfers over her multitude of files and data. It's a bit of a tedious task to go back through everything and find out what is actually worth keeping, what's important and what can be trashed before she hands it back over to Hill, but in the end it’ll be worth it. 

   She's just finishing up now, sending over the last few miscellaneous things. But what she hadn’t realized was that she had not selected her new computer as a transfer location this time, but had selected your computer. Likely unnoticed because she had forgotten about even connecting her laptop to yours during your last mission, and because her eyesight was beginning to get strained after so many hours of sitting here. Regardless, off they went, and she was none the wiser

   Meanwhile you're just returning to your desk from a much needed break when you see the file transfer notification light up. This confuses you, as you hadn’t asked anyone to send anything over, nor had anyone told you to expect anything. But since you apparently have some more things to attend to, you sit back down and open the file. This proves to be of little help however, because nothing is labeled. All you know is that it contains several documents and one picture. 

   You decide to open the picture first, as it would hopefully not require reading. It's clearly been taken in a dimly lit room so it takes a second for your eyes to adjust to the darkened screen to discern anything, but soon enough you're greeted with the side profile of a naked woman. This confuses you even more, but you find yourself unable to tear your eyes away. And that's how you spot it, a small scar to the left of the belly button

   “Oh my god!” you exclaim as you register who you're seeing, and you quickly close the tab

   Your hands start sweating as you wrack your brain for a rational explanation. You knew Nat was a playful flirt, the two of you did so all the time. But to send an explicit picture, unprompted, and by file transfer at that, just didn’t make sense. That's when you remembered the other contents of the file, and you quickly skim through them to see if they would be of any help piecing things together. When you discover that they are just after mission reports and weapons specs your hunch of it being unintentional is confirmed. Now, you just had to figure out what to do about it

   A few minutes later, you're standing outside the redhead's door as anxiety bubbles inside you. But you fight through it and knock. 

   “Come in!”

   She's turned enough in her desk chair to see who's entering and a wide smile spreads across her face as she registers that it's you. You feel guilty now, because you have a feeling your demeanor and what you have to say will cause that smile to falter, but you need to do this. Afterall, you’d want someone to be forthcoming if they received something like this of you.

   “Uh, hi Nat” 

   She notices your nervousness, but sets aside the observation for now “Hey Y/n, what's up?”

    “I think you accidentally sent me a few of your things during that last file transfer”

   “Oh, shit. Sorry about that, I’ve been at this for a few hours now and I guess I hit yours by mistake” she explains, “I didn’t even realize we were still connected”

   “Neither had I. But Nat, there was a picture of you among the documents”

   “Yeah? I hope it was a good one at least” she jokes, not realizing what you were trying to say. You're silent for a moment too long however, because she fully turns her chair to look at you, with her brows furrowed with worry, “Y/n, what's wrong with the picture?”

   “Nothings wrong with it!” you reply, a little too enthusiastically when you think about what's yet to come, “It's just that, well…. You're naked”

   Her face turns a shade of pink you’d never seen before, and her head swims with insecurities and nervousness. But she manages to bring out an air of confidence and gives you a sultry smirk

  “So, answer the question. Was it a good picture?”

the sheer amount of reassurance that eddie offered buck this ep had me reeling. like. every single offhanded self-deprecating comment that buck made in this ep, lighthearted and playful as they were, was immediately folllowed by eddie refuting it in the softest, gentlest way. buck announced he broke up with natalia and eddie, who specifically warned him that it wasn't a good idea to date someone they met on a call, who was potentially very hurt by buck claiming that natalia 'sees him,' and who was clearly not in favor of the relationship, said none of it. instead, without even missing a beat, he starts his reply off with to be fair. to be fair to buck, in case buck isn't being fair to himself.

when eddie brings up not wanting chris to go down a path of being reckless with dating, and buck assumes that eddie doesn't want chris to end up like him, eddie shuts that down instantly by reminding him that buck didn't actually end up the way he perceives himself. i love the way eddie so clearly acknowledges buck's idea of who buck once was while giving him that reassurance that he was never just that person. he's not buck 1.0, he's not buck 2.0, he's not buck 3.0, he's just buck, and eddie loves him the way he is.

i just — eddie is always offering buck grace and always so in tune with the way that buck's mind works, giving him the space to make the decisions he needs to, regardless of whether eddie agrees with them, all while still being in his corner and waiting for him to come to his senses in his own time, and eventually come home. to come back to where he belongs, because eddie missed him and never, ever wants to be without him again.

Begging leftists who are active on the internet to be careful of what they're posting, especially if they are posting their opinions on accounts with their irl face. I see SO MANY young (18-21) communists posting on twitter and instagram with a hammer and sickle icon in their bio, talking openly about US imperialism and posting images of their face-- and I don't think people understand that these posts could potentially be used to charge them with a crime.

What you post on the internet or google can be used as evidence in court! There are people on the internet who are undercover officers! EVERYTHING you post, even if your account is private, can be handed over to the authorities.

I understand that visibility of lefist ideas is important, but so is your physical safety. We are in McCarthyism 2.0 (though the original era never truly ended). Please read about cointelpro, about the undercover officers who infiltrated the BLM movement, and about how the FBI used anarchist zines to divide leftist groups.

These are all previous tactics used by the US government that are STILL IN USE to infiltrate leftist movements. Except now, thousands of people have visible social media trails. I am especially concerned about self proclaimed communist groups (not naming names, but there is a prominent Asian diaspora org that does this) posting numerous pictures and videos of its members. Even if the organization itself isn't doing anything illegal, those individuals pictured might, and this content is EASILY used in court to prosecute leftists, regardless of whether or not they've done anything "illegal."

Please, please be careful with what you post. I myself am guilty of this very issue! But as the talons of US empire tighten, heat will be coming down on those who are self declared against it. I encourage people to read about the May 19th movement and the Black Liberation army, both of which were "underground" organizations. Visibility and representation is not going to lead to the revolution, at least not under these conditions.
